This next one might actually just be what I wanted Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury to have been as well as an explanation as to why I wanted the story to go in the direction I wanted it to go and might actually do it someday.

The tale of the Cosmic Fury is re-woven.

Into a tale of survival, virtue and self determination, undying love and self sacrifice.

A tale of an alien whose powers were bleached the moment his bones were.

of a girl who became a woman by darkening her pink powers to red.

Of a boy who became a man by losing an arm.

Of a young scientist who saved lives and worked miracles to protect teammate, friend and loved one alike… by turning "evil".

It all started and eventually ended on a distant planet called Zordnia.

Zayto was the only one of our heroes who wasn't in woundless pain, helplessly watching them writhe in agony while he stood there in good health. "Guys, please hang on." He pleaded, nether knowing what to do nor in what way it could help them.

He felt an inhumanly large hand on his shoulder, he turned around and saw the Morphin Masters. "It's time, Zenith Ranger, when we are done, they will be alright." Morphin Master Red reassured.

Zayto silently refused as he knelt at Ayion's side, the gold ranger the last to lose consciousness, he looked his old friend over with a concerned and devastated look in his eye. "G-go, Zayto." Ayion gasped, using what felt to him like the last of his strength to put a hand on his shoulder in an attempt at reassurance. "I-I trust them."

Zayto rose back to his feet and faced the morphin masters, an inky charcoal colored portal into the grid summoned, his head hung to echo the weight of his heart.

"Come, we must light the end of the tunnel." Morphin Master Green urged.

"Only if you're sure it will save them." Zayto said with one last sad look at his dying friends before following the Morphin masters into the portal.

"It will do more than save them." Morphin Master Blue's voice was the last thing the surrounding area could hear before the portal closed behind Zayto, feeling as if he was leaving his teammates for dead…

… And there they laid, minutes from death or so it appeared.

A far cry from the results of the last time they were on that planet… of which brings us to planet earth.

Ollie was corrupted.

Zayto was missing.

The Morphin Masters were captured.

Javi lost his arm.

Everyone inside the base at Dinohenge were taking over each other, before Amelia spoke a reassuring and empowering speech.

"Here's one hot chocolate, 80% marshmallows, just how you like it." Solon said, the beverage in both of her claws, while Billy was measuring Javi's still remaining arm.

"That's the measurements." Billy said once he was finished. "You should get some rest while we build this thing."

"Any little upgrades you want?" Solon offered. "Just say the word, my eyes are my favorite feature." Lenses of some sort, protruded out of her eyes to show what she was talking about.

"I don't want any upgrades." Javi said, holding back frustration out of knowledge of where they were coming from. "I just want my arm back."

"I know this is a lot, but you're going to be okay." Billy reassured. "Javi, you saved all of us on Zordnia, we're all indebted to you, the least I can do is help our master engineer build a prosthetic for you."

"Cranston tech's founder calls me a master?" Solon asked in disbelief at what Billy called her. "Oh if dinosaurs could blush."

"I appreciate your help, like you said, it's…" Javi began before pausing and pointing to where his right arm used to be. "A lot to deal with, this literally happened yesterday, what am I supposed to tell my parents?" Well that was a predicament in an of itself for him to be sure, there was yet another. "I guess it's definitely goodbye to the demo I was working on."

"Hey Solon." A soft voice could be heard, everybody turned their heads and it was Amelia and Lani. "The antidote's ready, but we can't find the applicator."

"I better go have a look." The cybernetic dinosaur's assistance was now needed elsewhere.

But this was the perfect opportunity for just Billy and Javi to talk.

"Being musical doesn't just go away." Billy said, picking up the cup of marshmallows Before sitting down on the table to face Javi. "Don't count yourself out, I believe in you." he handed the cup to him.

In the infirmary…

"Ah, here we go." Solon sighed, finding what she was looking for.

"He sleeps like a log." Lani commented with concern. "It was great as a baby, not so charming as a teen."

"He'll be cuter when he wakes up." Amelia smiled, just imagining the look in his eye when she herself is the first ever thing he sees when he opens his eyes and is good again.

"Be careful with that assumption." Lani warned, worried about any potential pratfalls. "I know you really want this to work, but… the poison is a much larger dose than last time." She pointed the applicator at her son, spraying the substance all over his unconscious frame.

"Neutralizing toxins takes time, all we can do is wait for him to wake up." Solon explained.

A few hours later…

"Lord Zedd?" Lani heard a voice, her son's voice.

Despite his words… Lani took it as a good sign. "Amelia." She called, Amelia came running in.

"I knew it would work." Amelia was overjoyed just to see Ollie awake.

But then, Ollie aggressively reached out to grab his mother's wrist, Amelia saw this in time to grab his wrist before he could do this. "Lani, get out." She instructed.

Lani was horrified at what she saw. "He's still…" She gasped.

"It's not safe, lock me in." Amelia instructed again, still holding onto her boyfriend's wrist, as Lani ran out and did as she was told to do before Ollie threw Amelia across the infirmary, the door closing on him, she teleported out of the infirmary.

"Thank goodness for deadlocks." Lani said.

"We did everything like last time, this doesn't make any sense." Amelia said, frustrated and worried, watching Ollie turn over the bed in frustration from a monitor in the infirmary.

"The poison has corrupted his Ranger energy." Oh how wrong Lani was at that very moment. "I know that this is stressful, Amelia, but we can't let our feelings distract us from the facts."

"How can you be so chill right now?" Amelia asked, not finding it believable that Ollie's mother would be so emotionless towards the situation. "We might never get Ollie back." Not realizing how wrong she also was.

"I am terrified." Lani softly said. "But putting out that vibe doesn't help, instead, I'm focusing my energy on the facts." facts, she didn't know were not the truth at all. "We're not out of options just yet, what exactly do we know about this poison?"

"It was designed specifically for Ollie." Amelia answered. "So if you're right about his energy being corrupted, he gets his energy from…"

"Dinohenge." Lani finished that sentence.

Locked in the infirmary, Ollie was panicking and shrunk into a fetal position on the floor, there was no memory of anything, his mind was blank… except for one thing… Lord Zedd, such a name left a vile taste in his mouth.

A few hours later…

"Keep flexing, nice and gentle." Solon instructed to Javi as she looked his new robotic arm over, both with her eyes and a scanner in her claw as he wiggled his cybernetic fingers. "Sync levels are good."

"Here you go." Izzy handed Javi's leather jacket to him.

"Thanks." He expressed gratitude.

"How does it feel?" Izzy curiously asked.

Just then, Javi's robotic arm went nuts, earning an expression of discomfort on Izzy's face.

"Don't panic, the sync rate your brain and your arm is going to fluctuate as the tech gets to know you." Billy reassured, Javi still struggling to control his new arm, knocking the scanner out of Solon's claw, sending it into the air and bouncing off of a small panel, revealing a giant red glowing button.

A lull in the craziness, suddenly, Javi's new arm bumped Izzy, sending her careening towards the console where the button was, Aiyon rushed to catch her.

"I'm sorry, Izzy, I…" Javi tried to apologize, but it was needless, given everyone understood.

"It's not your fault." Solon reassured. "This button hasn't been pressed in 65 million years." She reached out a claw to close the compartment that once concealed the button before turning her attention back to Javi. "You know, it took me a long time to get used to my cybernetics."

"Don't push yourself too hard, okay?" Billy asked in an attempt to take his turn to reassure.

"Yeah, okay, l… it is a lot to get used to." Javi reluctantly said.

"We got your back, bro." Izzy smiled.

"And your front too." Aiyon also smiled.

"Thanks, guys." Javi said, feeling better.

"You've got this." Solon said.

But then, a thought arose in Javi's head. "How's Ollie doing?" He wondered out loud.

In the infirmary, Ollie was still struggling to recall the fight, last he finally remembered, he and his team were being sprayed with poison before it all went blank for him, he recognized the space they confined him in until they could figure things out.

But then it all came flooding back to him, but once it did, a plan was hatching in Ollie's mind, the Morphin Masters were captured, just like they probably feared would have happened to them, if the alarm bells in his head were real, he would've gone deaf, he had to do something, he had the feeling if someone didn't, the universe, his mother and even his team… Amelia wouldn't survive, he found no time to feel guilty about what he did while he was evil, he needed to act quickly, but first, he needed at least someone on the team on board with it.

Thankfully, go time was close at hand, just outside the infirmary, just outside earth's very atmosphere.

"A fleet of ships is entering the solar system." Ollie overheard Amelia say into her morpher. "Izzy, it's go time, I'll wrangle Ollie, get Dinohenge undercover."

I'm on it. Amelia's morpher replied, bearing Izzy's voice, Amelia watched everything that happened outside through the monitors, Izzy putting up the invisible force field, Lord Zedd's Zentinals fast approaching, Billy rushing to fight them… Fern fast approaching the scene on her bicycle.

The latter caught Aiyon's eye. "Not good." Aiyon exclaimed, attempting to rush to her side before being blocked by foot soldiers. "Really not good." They attacked and he defended.

The Zentinals intercepted Fern. "Shoot!" She exclaimed, getting off her bike so that she could use it to shield herself from the foot soldiers.

"Billy, this is Izzy's girlfriend." Aiyon said into the comlink function on his morpher.

"I'd love to help, but…" Billy groaned, still fighting off Zedd's goons.

Izzy overheard. "Wait what?" She exclaimed, speaking into her morpher. "Hold tight, I'm coming."

"No no, we need to stay out of sight, someone else will have to." Lani interrupted.

Inside the base.

"It's okay, I'll get Fern." Amelia reassured, prepared to go through with it for her teammate. "This will just take a second."

"No, I'll go." Javi said. "You might not get another chance to fix Ollie." With that, he raised both his left wrist and his robotic arm, the latter smacking his morpher, turning him into the black ranger.

"Good luck." Amelia smiled, watching Javi teleport to his stepsister's girlfriend's rescue, she rushed to the monitors to watch it unfold to make sure he did his job and she was safe.

The machine is linked and ready to go, you can bring Ollie up now. Amelia's morpher spoke to her again, this time bearing Lani's voice.

Amelia pressed the button that opens the door to the infirmary, Ollie set his plan of defense in motion. "Amelia." he got her attention, she raised her sword to safeguard herself. "The antidote worked, but it took me a while to recall everything, I promise, I…"

"Stay back!" Amelia ordered, pointing her sword at Ollie once he got close to her, keeping him at an arms length in case he was lying.

"Now may not be the time for skepticism." Ollie carefully explained, holding out his hand for Amelia to take. "But you still have every right to be."

"I love you, but you've never been a good actor." Amelia's words cut him like a knife. "Plus I can read your mind." But unwitting salvation as she grabbed his forearm, time was of the essence.

"Fair enough." He whispered, allowing her to grip his arm, a loving expression on his face and a tear in his eye, whatever got his foot in the door, she needed to know.

Meanwhile, Javi finally finished off the enemies minions, all that was left to do was to teleport Fern to safety.

But Fern had a question or two first. "Javi? What's up with this?" She pointed, referring to Javier's robotic arm.

"My arm, Izzy didn't tell you?" Javi asked, a loud blast telling them that there was no time to discuss this, more of the adversary's minions came a knocking. "Let's go!" The two teleported back into the base.

"I think I left my stomach behind." Fern exclaimed, feeling how she described her situation in the base.

"You need to hide, the bathroom's that way." Javi said, pointing Fern in a certain direction. "Seems like you might need it." The two noticed Ollie and Amelia.

Ollie channeled every good thought he had in his mind, showing Amelia the strong leader and beautiful woman he saw her as, these mental images caused Amelia to let go of Ollie's arm, taken aback, she expected to be threatened with violence against her, but what made her drop her sword was something she couldn't have anticipated, the thoughts he had in his mind at that moment were more shocking, Ollie took the opportunity to wrap his arms affectionately around her, tears in his eyes as he rested his cheek against the top of her head for a few seconds before pressing his lips against it.

Amelia let out a soft gasp, shocked by what was going on in Ollie's head, Javi and Fern watched as Ollie and Amelia pulled away, but still holding on to each other, he lifted her chin to make her face him. "I love you, Amelia, I'm so sorry." he sniffled before bending his mouth to hers.

"Dang, Ollie!" Javi and Fern thought out loud, watching Ollie and Amelia lock lips, Fern left for the bathroom, leaving Javi to help Amelia with Ollie.

The two pulled away, a look of alarm in Amelia's eyes and a look of reassurance in Ollie's, Javi grabbing Ollie by the chest was almost a surprise. "I've got him." He shouted.

"Javi, wait a minute." Amelia tried to stop him, but…

"No, what you were going to do me still needs to be done anyway." Ollie quickly reassured, Amelia morphed, picked her saber back up off the floor and pressed the teleportation button on Javi's Morpher, teleporting all three of them outside.

The two held him in place once they were. "Now." Ollie shouted, with that, his mother fired up the device, blasting him with a bolt of energy that most likely made him sympathize with a pin cushion, but his heart was full of hope that this would either reinforce the positive effects of the antidote, corruption proof his ranger energy or at the very least, lull the team into a sense of security to hear his plan out.

Unfortunately, an unforseen force from the energy had a kickback that caught everybody off guard, especially Izzy, causing the invisible force field to fail.

That was when lord zedd's goons found Dinohenge. "Lord Zedd, we found it." one goon said into his comlink.

"Is everyone okay?" Solon asked.

No one was given a chance to answer, for Lord Zedd literally showed up out of nowhere. "Miss me?" He he chuckled.

"Solon, Lani, get out of here." Amelia shouted, Solon obeyed right away.

But Lani was more concerned about her son. "But Ollie…" She began.

"I got him." Amelia reassured. "Get somewhere far." She held her saber in the air in defense. "Really far, like, Osaka far." Lani immediately teleported away.

"Yo, Meat man, time for round two." Aiyon shouted, him and Billy serving as reinforcements.

"It's the final round for you!" Zedd retorted, blasting Dino fury gold and mighty Morphin blue back. "I don't know your weakness, Billy." Momentarily, pausing to acknowledge his old foe. "But I sure know theirs." he turned his attention to the statues, starting with Aiyon's, blasting it, destroying his powers.

One by one, Zedd blasted statue after statue, Izzy lost her powers, then Javi, then Zayto's, Ollie was still reeling from what his team tried to do to him, as he struggled to get back on his feet in time, all he could do was watch in horror as Amelia's statue was blown up, leaving her vulnerable, breaking his heart.

This was now or never, Ollie had to do something before even his statue was destroyed, otherwise, how could he effectively infiltrate Zedd's ranks? "Wait." He said, finally strong enough to stand on his feet again. "Spare my statue so I can still serve you, my Lord." he got down in one knee and kneeled before Zedd holding his saber in his hands.

"Ollie, no." Amelia shouted, not caring if he did do this For Intel, only for his well-being.

"How do I know this isn't a pathetic attempt at deception?" Zedd had Ollie there… Or did he?

Ollie drew a deep breath and threw his saber at Amelia, trusting her to duck it and she did so just in time… For it to nick her on the cheek.

"I do love an evil ranger." Zedd was pleased with the supposed display of loyalty, Ollie's plan to go undercover was already near perfectly executed, he'd find a private place to cry over the cut on Amelia's face later.

"Back to base." Billy ordered. "We can't win here."

"But Ollie!" Aiyon became the second person to say that this day.

What Amelia said next would've made Ollie proud if he found time to feel that way. "We have to face facts." She said, cutting her own losses and teleporting back into the base, the others did the same.

At a girl, Amelia. Ollie internally said. May the power protect you, Baby.

"Bajillia, I want a squidrill drilling down into their base until each one of those Ranger ninnies are buried and dead!" Zedd demanded, a squidrill came from the sky immediately, drilling a hole in the ground.

"Come on, guys, please, there's gotta be something you can do to escape." Ollie pleaded in a hushed tone to himself, already picturing Amelia dead in his arms, his attempt at protecting them long enough to regroup almost futile.

Everyone and everything was rattling inside the base. "Our shields are failing." Solon shouted, everyone else ran around like decapitated chickens.

"Solon, there's only one option." Aiyon shouted, running to the console, pressing a few buttons to reveal the big red button.

"This is an extreme emergency fail-safe, do you trust me?" Solon asked.

"This is an extreme emergency." Javi answered, holding onto two support structures to keep himself from falling down.

Solon approached the button and looked at Aiyon, who nodded his head, that was all the authorization she needed, she pressed her claw on the button, all the lights in the base grew brighter, the interior shakier.

Outside, what the base left behind caved in, all that was left was a hole filled half way to the brim with dirt, moss, and other assorted forest debris.

"Empty, it's empty, how is this possible?" Zedd angrily shouted.

"Some kind of mass teleportation." Ollie observed out loud, pretending not to take the aftermath as a miracle. Oh, thank goodness.

"Your bratty friends are always running from their problems." Boy was Ollie secretly glad Zedd said that? It only meant that by the time he'd know what hit him, it would be too late. "But they won't last long without their Ranger powers." But so long as Ollie had something to say about it, Zedd would regret saying that, let alone being the reason why they were powerless.

"Well you won't regret sparing mine." Ollie lied, hoping to find the enemy's weak spot.

"Prove it to me by finding your cowardly little companions." Zedd ordered.

"It would be my pleasure." Ollie stretched the truth, Zedd was practically putty in his hands as the 'radiator face' turned to bark orders at his minions, after everything he did to him and his team, Ollie was going to enjoy playing Lord Zedd like one of Javi's instruments.

"Take the tricera statue to my mega squidrill and spread the word." Zedd barked, Ollie was as good as imprisoned as a result. "This planet is the property of Lord Zedd."

But none of that mattered to Ollie. "Please be safe, wherever you may be." He muttered to himself, staring at the hole in the ground where the base used to be, believing in his teammates and especially Amelia. "I love you guys."

Meanwhile, the emergency teleportation button powered down.

As the metaphorical dust was starting to settle for the other rangers as to where they were teleported to, Amelia couldn't shake the proxy feeling behind Ollie's thoughts.

Please, listen to me, Amelia, I love you too, being evil could never change that if it tried, something's not right if the Morphin masters got captured, there's got to be more to Lord Zedd's plan than just universal domination.

She could still feel his arms wrapping around her and his heart beating against her ear when her head leaned against his chest, her mind struggling to follow.

Someone has to do something to stop whatever he has in store, that someone has to be the one Lord Zedd has it in for.

As the mental images of him battered, bruised and near death in her arms at the enemy's hands swam through her mind, she could feel his lips pressing against the top of her head, it wasn't your usual 'this goes without saying, but I love you' kiss, but an 'I would rather lose my life than watch every single one I care about lose theirs, that's why I'm going to do what I'm doing now' kiss.

Even if there is another way, there's no time to think of one.

The very last thing he softly sobbed into her ear before tilting her head to press his lips against hers for a another goodbye kiss, before Javi got Fern into the base, before things as a whole went bad haunted her. "I love you, Amelia, I'm so sorry."

A voice snapped her back into reality. "Impromptu matter translocation." Billy pondered out loud, gazing out a newly discovered window of the base. "I'm impressed." But another question stirred in his mind as he turned towards the other Rangers and Solon. "But where are we?"

"The emergency teleport sent us to the farthest empty, but habitable planet." Aiyon explained, not necessarily answering Billy's question.

"Let's check the star charts." Solon suggested, firing up the base's computer system.

"Erridus, huh?" Billy asked again, his question as to where in the cosmos they were answered. "Atmosphere and gravity is similar to earth, but… we're 30 million light-years away."

"We're not even in our own galaxy?" Izzy asked with confusion and concern.

"A jump burns out the whole system so it's a one-way trip, otherwise, I'd have been tanning my tail on tropical beaches, rather than staying underground for 65 million years." Solon further explained.

"So we're safe, but stranded." Javi took his turn to ask a question with confusion and concern.

"Yeah, without ranger powers and without Zayto…" Aiyon began to say before pausing.

"… Or Ollie." Amelia chimed in, everyone's heads craned in her direction.

"So what do we do next? Any ideas?" Solon asked.

"Focus on the facts, that's what Dr. Akana told me." Amelia answered, recalling what was told to her possibly out of comfort. "The fact is we did everything we could to help Ollie, and while it worked, he's still with Zedd, but for our own benefit this time." Amelia ignored the expressions of disbelief on everyone's faces thrown her way and continued to speak. "Most of us can't morph and Zayto's missing, we're also stuck far away from a home that's probably being invaded by Zedd, but I refuse to give up, we have Billy, we have Solon and we have each other, if we just focus on one problem at a time, we'll get through, I know we will." Little did she know that this was the first of many instances of her living up to her boyfriend's belief in her.

"If Lord Zedd thinks this is over, he's dead wrong." Was Aiyon's response.

"No powers, no way home, no big." Izzy added.

But to add insult to injury that was on the mend…

"Oh yeah?" A familiar voice asked, everyone's heads whipped in the direction of said voice, it was Fern, what was she doing in the base? "This is 'no big'?"

I felt so upset about evil Ollie in Cosmic Fury, there were moments where I cried, even before the actor revealed he wasn't certain about whether he would be returning to reprise his role, I wanted Ollie to infiltrate the enemy with the goal of gaining intelligence from said enemy and find a way to thwart whatever plans they had, screw the writing team for not thinking of that… if they didn't, I know, I may be the only former homeschooler in both the Power Rangers fandom and the homeschool community to feel this way towards such a direction for such a character to be taken, but the writing team did a good job using Ollie to demonize homeschoolers whether they intended for that or not.

But I'm a fanfiction writer, writing what I wanted to see on the show should've been one of my reasons to be one years ago, ladies and gentlemen, I give you my first proper fix-it-fanfiction.
