Kensuke who was walking behind Misato giggled softly as he walked around the bridge video tapping everything, punctuated the flag officers complaint rather pointedly
"And thank you for your assistance in the marine transport of the provisional Unit-05" Misato said ignoring the lacing sarcasm of the Admiral, as a nominal 03 Captain of the U.N army on detached service with N.E.R.V
Misato was outranked by roughly six levels of rank by the 09 Admiral, but the fact that she was attached to N.E.R.V muddied the waters considerably, letting her get away with much more back talk than any normal officer could have
"Here are the specifications for the emergency power supply socket" Misato said as she continues to talk to the Admiral, The Admiral glanced over the cover sheet
Signed by both his immediate superior and some person Named Gendo Ikari before snorting yet again, "you've wasted a trip, I'd never and will not agree to any request to activate that... Toy at sea in the first place!" He said with authority
Asuka felt, rather than saw Mari eye twitch at her, Evangelion being called a Toy, to be honest her eye would also twitch if her Unit-02 is being called a toy
But Mari kept her peace, and stayed silent after she told Mari to shut up about her dating life, "just think of it... As being prepared for any eventuality" Misato tried to make her peace one last time, to the officer in front of her "The Eva is quite valuable sir"
"So valuable that the entire Pacific Fleet is guarding it!" He bit out, "When the hell did the U.N Re-comission us into a bloody cargo service?"
"If memory serves me correctly, it was about the same time as a certain secret organization went active and started throwing its weight around" The captain of the ship put in
"What a grandiose assignment for the entire Pacific Fleet" The Admiral repeated again as if he couldn't believe it
"All for that thing you called an Eva"
Asuka couldn't help but roll her eyes at the Admiral continual dismissal of the Evangelion, which caught the eye of the Admiral
"You got a problem girl?" The Admiral address her directly with a rather disapproving look and tone on his voice
Asuka caught the warning look from Misato, but she didn't care and her pride is telling her to beat him with facts
"Admiral not to disrespect you, but have you been in combat?" She asked bluntly, the Admiral was about to open his mouth, she added "and I mean real combat on the front line and I mean not on the bridge directing other men from a distance"
The Admiral glared at her, 'good' she thought and she took that as a no
"Well sir, well I and my pilot friend here have" She said while also pointing to Rei, "and so will the fourth child" She said jerking her head slightly, "In my first engagement, i went up against an Angel that chewed through an N2 Mind like nothing has ever happen, Both the U.N and J.S.S.D.F threw everything they had at it and barely slowed it down, if it wasn't for Mazinger Z Photon power attacks we wouldn't be here, it would have taken over a thousand lives and half a billion dollars just for the Angel to regenerate!"
Asuka waited a few seconds as a vein on the Admirals forehead started to pulse as he took a breath and continued, keeping his voice calm and collected, "With the utmost respect sir" She continued, "The twin of that Toy you are transporting is one of the few that could beat an Angel with its pure might, So I'd ask you to show Some FUCKING Respect"
The silence on the bridge was so total that Asuka decided that you wouldn't just be able to hear a pin drop, but the sound of it falling through the air would have been deafening for the two or so seconds no one dared to speak, Move or breath in, 'What the Hell did that come from?' Asuka wondered in astonishment, Sure she was prideful and sometimes mean to people but where the hell did she get the confidence to say it to an Admiral of all people
"You Five, Clear the Bridge" Misato ordered her charges without looking away from the Admiral, feeling if she did look at Asuka she would have probably hug her so tightly she could choke... Which would ruin the affect, Asuka nodded before leaving the bridge with the others in tow, "My Apologies Admiral" Misato lied through her teeth, "She had a very long couple of months"
"I Understand" he nodded briefly then sighed, the Admiral ruefully admitting himself that he hadn't exactly been diplomatic, "Please convey My Apologies to the Pilots if i was out of line" he said briefly, "Yes Sir" Misato nodded, "Well, Please continue to New Yokosuka as planned" she said with a salute, before backing off the bridge and following the children out the door, fighting to keep her grin off her face
"Red..." Mari said in pure admiration as the five of the current and future classmate exited the bridge, "That was the most bad ass thing i have ever seen in my life"
"To put it mildly" Kensuke agreed, the expression on his face suggesting he was on the verge of getting down and worshipping the Red Devil in awe after that performance, Asuka look to Toji who was seeing her in Admiration as she has the balls to say it to an Admiral no less
"Asuka" Misato said suddenly joining them after a while, "Officially i have to formally tell you that kind of behavior to a senior U.N Officer is not acceptable from N.E.R.V Personal and you... Ah To hell with IT!" She smiled as they reached to the bottom of the stairs
The group except Rei chuckled at that and Asuka felt her face burn up in embarrassment, before a new voice broke in sounding highly amused, "Well I can see You're confident as ever" the voice of a man said, which cause Asuka face to perked up as she recognize the voice, and Misato face to frown slightly as if she was trying to match up something in her memory
The group turned to see a man in his late 20's or early 30's in a blue shirt leaning against the wall, just inside the cross corridor at the base of the stairwell, A slight stubble was present over his face and his tie was hanging somewhat loose in a way no officer on this ship would ever except
"KAJI!" Asuka gleefully shouted as she hug the man that was a father figure for her, Misato face was utterly priceless as she saw her Ex-boyfriend on this ship with her, Misato looked desperately at the elevator calculating her chances of diving inside and stabbing the buttons on the control panel, but decided she would never make it solo as the doors opened, the seven people forcing their way unto a really designed for four
"What the hell are you doing here?" Misato demanded as the elevator dropped down the isle into the honeycomb of the compartments under the flight deck... far to slowly, "Accompanying Mari" Kaji said smoothly as he return Asuka's hug with one of his own, "Its been awhile Asuka" Kaji said looking at her, "And I'm on a... Business trip of sorts, from the third branch" Kaji replied when Misato was about to retort
"I should have anticipated this..." Misato muttered as she growled slowly, closing her eyes for a second, then snapping them wide open again, "HEY! DON'T TOUCH ME!" Misato shouted, "I CAN'T HELP IT!" Kaji protested right back
The elevator ride ended a few seconds later and the group all fell out into the passage just outside the small captain mess Misato had been directed into, Misato sprinted out first no mean feet given that she had been at the back of the elevator, followed by the five children and slowly pursuing Kaji, the group claiming a table near a TV
Misato who made it to the table first took one corner of it with Toji claiming the seat next to her and Kaji claiming the seat opposite of her, Asuka of course took a seat next to Kaji since it has been a while since she had met her father figure, with Kensuke seating next to Toji and Mari seating with Asuka her cousin, while Rei grab a seat next to Kensuke which made him blush as cups of Tea and coffee was served by a steward

Shinji sat at the chair with a serious look on his face, in front of him was a set of papers a DNA test to be exact, which confirms that Rei is his Sister or Half-Sister, since she has the DNA of his mother but the other set of DNA Confuse him, who the hell knocked up his mother? That shouldn't be possible since they were almost the same age with Shinji, he has to confront his father about this, what the hell is Rei? How come he doesn't know of his long lost sister? Why did he lied to him?
Shinji got up from the chair as he walks towards the door, grabbing the DNA test before leaving the Katsuragi-Shikinami-Ikari household he is going to N.E.R.V and whether his father like it or not he was going to answer a few questions of his, He rode his Motorcycle towards N.E.R.V
Gendo was doing paper work it has been a few hours since his meeting with the U.N Board about the Evangelion project as he needed more funds for repairing the damage, as he grab his mug to drink his cup of coffee his assistant suddenly open the door, "Sorry to disturb you sir, Your son Shinji would like to see you" his female assistant said looking at him with fear, Gendo put the mug down as he replied, "Let him in, and call Fuyutsuki" Gendo said as he felt like he was going to have a huge headache if he talks to Shinji
"Right away sir" The female assistant said leaving the office to let Shinji in and calling the sub-commander, "Father" Shinji said looking at Gendo as he walks inside the office, "Speak" Gendo said looking at his son intently, "What the Hell is this?" Shinji said throwing the papers at his Father desk, as it shows the DNA Test, "Where did you get this?" Gendo asked his eyes squinted as Shinji finally knows the truth
"Grandfather" Shinji replied, "damn old man" Gendo muttered as he sigh before looking at his son, "It is irrelevant" Gendo decided, "What do you mean Irrelevant!? Your not going to explain about this? How Rei is apparently my Half-Sister!? How long will you keep me in the dark? Did Mother's dead affected you that much!?" Shinji protested, as Gendo flinched when Shinji said Yui's Death, "Yui was my everything" Gendo started with a bit of emotion, "So i used her DNA to clone her" Gendo said, "Which resulted in Rei" Shinji said as he realize that Rei Ayanami was a clone of his mother, Gendo nodded looking at his son
"Why did you clone her? Wouldn't you let her rest in peace?" Shinji asked looking at his father, "I-" Gendo was about to reply but he doesn't have an answer, he only made Rei for Third impact and even if he did explain his plan to Shinji he would have protested and foil his plans, "Nothing to say? If you love mother why the hell did you burn all of her photos? Is it so you could forget her face?" Shinji asked, Gendo was about to protest but Shinji said to it first, "You know what? I don't care for your reason, just go away you're not my father anymore, My father is dead when mom died" Shinji said before leaving Gendo office
Gendo slunk at his chair, as he remember Yui last words before going Inside Unit-01, "Protect and Raise our son" Yui said as she left towards Unit-01, 'What have i done?' Gendo thought as he remember Yui words to protect and raise him as his father, he remembers Yui gift for him, his son, "You've finally realize it huh?" Gendo look up to see Fuyutsuki looking at him with Pity, "Sensei, what do i do now?" Gendo asked to his long time teacher and friend, "Its easy, become Shinji and Rei father, and make Yui proud" Fuyutsuki said at him, "Its to late for that" Gendo said looking at him, "Its not, you could still make amends with him" the old man Replied, Gendo eyes as he finally realize his mistakes, its time to be a father for Shinji and Rei, and stop those SEELE bastards
