"EREN!"

Suddenly,Eren woke up from his sleep on a tree. Strangely,He woke up with tears in his eyes.

Mikasa:"Eren, Let's head back"

Eren:"Mikasa?.Why am I here?"

Eren did not realize this change but he saw glimpses of his life. Of Mikasa but with shorter hair? he did not understand it now. "What was it?I can't remember anything I've dreamed just now?"Eren pondered in his thoughts.

Mikasa:" 's getting have collected enough 's go home….Eren,Why are you crying?"

Eren did not seem to realize tears were welling up in his eyes but he doesn't know why. Eren followed Mikasa while pondering about the strange dream he had." I don't know, My head hurts".

Eren:"Mikasa,Don't tell anyo-"

Mikasa:"I won't tell that you cried Eren but for you to cry for no reason and you have a headache, Maybe we should ask Uncle to take a look at you."

Eren:"No way! I could never tell my dad that I Cried."

As both of them were chatting about this issue a blond old man from the Garrison showed up half drunk.

Hannes:"Hey Eren!...Oh? Whay're you crying for Eren? Did Mikasa scold you again?"

Eren:"Huh?! What makes you think that I'd cry?" Holding his nose due to the strong stench of liquor "You reeke of Booze! You're drinking while you're on duty again?!" as he hears the drunk chatters of the Garrison gurads with Hannes.

Hannes:"Hehe…Why don't you two join us then?"

Eren:"Aren't you supposed to be working"

Hannes:"Well thirst and hunger catch up to us quickly when we're guarding the entirety of Wall Maria. Can't blame us for having a little refreshment on the side" he said nonchalantly.

Eren:" you fight when the time comes?!"

Hannes:"Oh? When will that be?"

Eren:"When the titans break the walls obviously!"

Hannes:"Haha! C'mon Eren you must be kidding. There has been only peace for over 100 years. I couldn't imagine them breaking this 50 meter wall. We could just live the rest of our lives happily in here."

Eren:"Keeping on living in these walls. Eating and Sleeping in these walls. It's as if we're living like cattle".Suddenly,Eren gets a strange vision of a foreign city. It looks strange but is covered by walls as well. Eren's face show a mix of confusion and anger.

Hannes was taken aback by Eren's response. The guards just laugh it off while Eren and Mikasa walk away. One guard says "Haha what a strange kid". "Could it be? Is he planning to join the Survey Corps?" Hannes thinks to himself in a worried manner.

Eren can't help but think of the strange visions he's been having lately ever since he woke up from that tree. He didn't seem to notice Mikasa's concern about Eren joining the Survey Corps. His thoughs stopped when he heard the town bell ringing. He grabbed Mikasa's hand and rushed over to see the Survey Corps back from their Expedition. There,Eren saw the Surver Corps and their leader returning but soon his smile started to fade away when he saw the grim situation of the Surver Corps. The members scarred, shell shocked and most Important of all, their faces were grim and sorrowful, one mother asked where her son is from the expedition and she only got her son's arm as an answer all while one of the members broke down saying they didn't achieve anything.

"Huh, all our tax money went to waste" said a townsperson. Eren hit that person in the back of his head in fury due to his disrespective words but Mikasa pulled away Eren before anything more could happen.

Eren and Mikasa arrive home after their quarrel about Eren wanting to join the Survey Corps. After reaching home, Mikasa revealed Eren's desire in joining the Survey Corps. Eren's Mother Carla was enraged at the thought of her son doing that.

Carla:"Eren, how could you say such a thing?! Do you know how many people lose their lives in the Survey Corps?."

Eren:"Of course I know that! But what's the point of just existing inside these walls without knowing anything about the outside world?!"

Eren's Father Grisha spoke up "Eren, why do you want to join the Survey Corps?"

Eren:"Because I want to know the truth about the outside world"

Grisha:"I I'll be heading off"

Carla:"Dear! Talk some sense into that boy"

Grisha:"He cannot be dissuaded by do know that Carla.I'll speak to him later"

Mikasa:"Oh 's been having a headache you check up on him before you could leave?"

Grisha:"Is that so? Why didn't you tell me Eren?"

Eren:"It's nothing…."

Grisha checked Eren up but Grisha finds that Eren seems completely normal.

Grisha:"That's strange. He seems fine. What's been troubling you Eren?"

Eren:"To be honest, I keep having strange dreams lately."

Grisha:" Hm? What kind of dreams Eren?"

Eren:"I dunno. But the last thing I remembered was a strange town with walls covering it just like ours. The buildings looked very strange as well and the last thing I remember about that dream was seeing a large white balloon like ship floating on the sky?"

For a moment, Grisha's face showed a mix of surprise and horror."How did he get the memories of Liberio? Don't tell he inherit a titan power? No. That cannot be possible. I would've known about it" he thought to himself. The last thing he saw someone experience something like this was The Owl telling the names of Armin and Mikasa. It is something he cannot comprehend till now.

Grisha:"Eren,When I return, I'll show you the basement that I've kept a secret"

Eren's face glowed up at the thought of seeing his father's basement. After Grisha Carla and Eren had an argument about Eren wanting to join the Survey Corps and Eren ran away in frustration.

Carla:"Mikasa, that boy would get himself in trouble. So promise me that you'll be there for each other"

Mikasa nodded in approval.

Eren found Armin being bullied by some teens and Eren and Mikasa came to his rescue. Eren and Armin contemplated on their thoughts about the outside world while Mikasa expressing her disapproval of Eren joining the Survey Corps.

And then there was silence

*BOOM*

A large explosive thundercrack appeared out of nowhere outside the walls and echoed throughout the town and everyone went silent when they saw a titan that scaled above the walls themselves. They watched in horror as that titan kicked the gate of the wall sending large debris scattering all over the town destroying houses, people, families and their peace. Realizing that Eren needs to find their mom and escape, Eren and Mikasa ran to their home hoping their home isn't destroyed and their mom is still fine meanwhile Armin stood in silence with horror and realization creeping up to his mind that this town is doomed.

Eren and Mikasa found their home destroyed by a huge boulder. Carla was stuck by the debris of their home. Eren and Mikasa try to pull out the debris locking in Carla but a large titan with blonde hair and a devilish smile was approaching them. Carla urged them to leave her as her legs are broken by the debris. The titan approaches closer as the children try to save Carla. Hannes arrived and tried to slay the titan but he couldn't move as looked at the titan in horror as he never saw one so close. Within moments, the titan reached Carla and was fixated on devouring her. Ignoring the others, the titan pulled Carla out from the debris. Hannes realizing he must take the kids to safety. As he was about to move, Eren while crying yelled at the titan"STOP!". For some strange reason, the titan dropped Carla off it's hands and fixated it's eyes at Eren and stopped momentariy as if it were paralyzed. Hannes quickly reacted by taking Carla on his back and grabbing Eren and Mikasa. Using his ODM Gear, He swiftly escaped the smiling titan while saving Eren, Mikasa and Carla. Eren's head started to hurt more while he heard faint voices in his head. "Dear?...". Someone or Something is trying to communicate with him but Eren cannot comprehend it as he still looked onto the smiling titan which is still staring at him while he escaped with the others away from the town.
