"Im sick of it!" she shouts, "Annabeth this, Annabeth that. Im sick of it!" Calypso says.

"Oh really. How do you feel when i found out that just before our relationship my boyfriend had a fling with a six thousand year old titaness?" Annabeth said

"There it is again. How you feel.Try see it from my point of veiw, after a millennium of solitude ,for something that I didnt do mind you, a handsome boy comes to my island heavily injured. I healed him, ME. Not you, me. And mind you it wasn't a fling, we both now that I'm the one that 'got away' for him. His biggest 'What If'. Me not you." Calypso stated.

"CAL, ENOUGH!" her boyfriend, Leo, said in a heart broken voice, "You've not only hurt Annabeth but also Percy. And me too."

"No! I'm tired of her. You know what people say to me, huh? All of the Aphrodite and Athena girls always say 'You know why Percy chose Annabeth? Because shes been through Tatarus and back , prevented two wars, helped defeat Kronos and Gaia while you where on your private island weaving'. Thats what I have to hear all day everyday!"

"But it doesn't matter. To me you're perfect." Leo said in a quiet voice.

"You. You. You're not half as good as Percy. Your not as handsome, strong ,lithe and loving as Percy. Not to mention your not as tall. You're literally as tall as me. Talk about short. You're not as good as Percy and you never will be. You were the second choice. Deal with it." she starts to laugh "Oh my gods, this is soooo satisfying. You guys help the gods everyday. The gods who imprisoned me on a island since the first titan war for supporting MY DAD! Like you wouldn't support Athena in a war. You guys dont know how it feels to be like me. I'm not perfect, yes. I'm bound to go crazy after being by my self for millennium guys. Come on.." she continues to laugh unaware of the looks given to her by Percy, Annabeth and Leo, especially Leo.

"Wow. What a speech," Leo says and Calypso finally stops laughing "If you really feel that way, i dont want to force you into a relationship that you don't want."

"Wait i didnt say that." Calypso says in a hurry, "its just that.. that..i didnt ..no please. Please."

Leo puts his hand up "We're done Calypso. End of story."

He storms out of the room followed by Percy but only after giving Calypso a look. She bursts int tears. Annabeth ran up to hug her "I know it wasnt easy Cal. I know this is not you.And I'm so sorry that the gods put you through that, okay. I know apologies won't change the fact that you were isolated from the world for such a long time and i know that its hard but its in the past. It's time to move on." she wipes the other girls eyes "Now tell me do you really mean that about Leo?"

"No, gods no. I love him. I don't know why i said that and now its impossible to go back and change it. Oh gods he broke up with me" she says her voice barely a whisper and starts to cry again.

"Look," Annabeth says almost sternly "Apologize to him. True he might not get back with you but the world has a lot more people now. You dont have to like me , Calypso, but I'm always here for you, okay?" she says more gently.

"I think I need to be alone right now" Calypso says. Annabeth just squeezes her hand and nods. Just before she opens the door Calypso calls out to her. "I'm sorry okay. I didn't mean that. It was just my anger talking."

Annabeth just smiles and leaves. Calypso opens the window judging the fall "Im sorry" she whispers to no one directly. Maybe herself , maybe Leo, Annabeth and Percy, but it doesn't matter. She stands on the window panel and jumps...
