Landing on a heavy branch as his premature chakra stopped himself in his tracks. His hamstring burned with vigour, as he squatted low to camouflage himself into the woodland area.
The young seven year old rested for a few breaths before allowing a touch of his miniscule chakra to stem into his legs as he jumped to another branch to keep going. His mission from the genin corp was to deliver supplies to the meeting point, where the border patrol of the land of fire will procure the supplies, a relatively dangerous mission due to the massive scroll on the boys back that dragged the body of a seven year old down, and the fact that the land of stone was fighting the land of fire in the land of grass.
The boy had to go to the border of land of fire and grass. The child scanned the area again, the thought of dying kept the boy sharp and alive, his eyes covered by goggles and enhanced by chakra, noticed everything.
Nothing was out of the ordinary, every hint of movement was caught and processed. Letting chakra enhance his brain was a Bold move for a shinobi. One wrong fluctuation of chakra and poof a retard was born in this cruel world.
But desperate time calls for desperate measures, the second shinobi wasn't a game, like the chunin exams it was war, life and death. The child swore that he would survive, live and Thrive in this world.
He took over this orphans body at the age of 3, he didn't have any parents and was living in the orphanage till the day all the orphans were brought to the hospital for their vaccines. He was surprised to see three massive stone faces carved on a cliff, It was that day that the child understood that he was in the world of naruto and that he was fucked.
The child from that day, after he had a mental breakdown and was knocked out by the medic, swore that he would survive, and not just survive but thrive.
The child stopped thinking about the past and focused on his chakra as he kept control over its flow as he approached the meeting point stopping around 100 metres from the clearing where the exchange would happen.
The boy ran through the hand signs that he meticulously ingrained into this body.
Water style: camouflage Jutsu.
The boy felt his chakra drain as a thin layer of water was stimulated over his body and started to camouflage himself to the surroundings. The E rank jutsu was basically useless if a capable shinobi of any rank saw the surrounding light bend he would immediately send a kuni toward the refracted light. But it was still better than standing out in the open waiting to be caught.
The child kept still for hours letting his chakra drain and replenish as the justu gave him a false sense of comfort as he waited for the receiver to give him the call. After around 3 hours of intense listening and waiting, hearing the forest move around him, calls of different birds and wildlife entered and exited his ear as he waited patiently while training his chakra control on shit ton of leaves around his face and arms, he heard the call.
The call of a bird that wasn't supposed to be in this forest, he cupped his hand allowing chakra to fold around his neck he released a slow call that he practised while running here. Then a breath later the border guard appeared in the clearing.
The boy let go of the worthless jutsu he practised and made his way into the clearing holding nothing back as he sprinted toward the shinobi.
To the chunin that was stationed at the border the genin running toward him held no threat as the genin stopped a few tens of metres before him.
"Ahh its you again" the chunin tried to remember the name of the small genin failing
"Here is the supply scroll chunin-sama" the boy answered, placing the massive storage scroll on the ground and moving back a few metres as the chunin approached and looked over the scroll for its contents.
"Remind me of your name genin, you're on time, unlike the last few corp trash" the chunin sneered remembering his past grievances.
"It is Tareru, chunin-sama" Tareru spoke, reminding him what the orphan children used to call him after his mental breakdown and depression "droopy", the name stuck because the child did not have a name beforehand.
"huh" the chunin responded as he threw, thankfully a much lighter scroll towards the genin.
"I'll put in a good word for you to your corps commander" the chunin benevolent proclaimed.
Tareru bowed to the chunin as the shinobi shunshin away leaving himself in the clearing. He stored the scroll in his forest green pants as he jumped towards the trees headed toward Konoha.
Tareru allowed his chakra to flow towards his brain and eye as he focused on his way back, he couldn't let his guard down as soon as he completed his mission.
He didn't take any breaks on the way back as he wanted to be back in the village. He reached the border of the village faster than most genin as he covered his lungs as well as legs with chakra.
He learned this technique by watching the internal genin Kosuke Maruboshi, when Maruboshi was his squad leader for a dangerous cart mission near the land of wind. Supplying the Konoha shinobi with antidotes Sannin Tsunade made. Maruboshi gave him a harsh word of warning after the mission as he told him the cons of the technique one wrong fluctuation and the organ would be helpless.
That didn't stop Tareru, he learned where his organs were located, tracked them with his chakra network and learned some basic biology as he mapped his entire body. It took Tareru all his contribution points to get a Hyuga to help him map his body's organ and help him fluctuate the amount needed so he wouldn't implode.
Which reminded Tareru that he needed to work more on his chakra control and capacity as he finally reached the gate of the Village hidden in the leaf. If he was on a team with a Jonin they would go to the Hokage to report to their mission, but Tareru was in the genin corp, an early graduate that no Jonin wanted.
He made his way toward the corps headquarters as his chakra invigorated his jumps towards each roof. He already stopped forcing chakra to his brain as he wasn't outside the border of the village but he still kept aware of the surroundings. At least after this solo mission he had enough contribution for a single piece of chakra conductive paper and can finally learn his affinity.
Landing on a large balcony of the genin headquarters making his way toward his commander's office to deliver the completed mission scroll, Tareru straightened up his demeanour and thought of what to say to his commander as he knocked on the door.
Tareru heard a gruff voice of the commander of the genin as he was allowed into the office. He took out the scroll and placed it on the desk with no words spoken and stood at attention until the commander spoke.
Commander Furubuto Tsurakoto completed the scroll he was working on as he watched the Tareru patiently waiting. He grabbed the scroll on his desk and read through the contents, "Tareru you will receive 60 contribution points for the high E rank mission you have completed solo. Dismissed" The commander's last words were spoken as he went back to work.
Tareru left the office in surprise due to the extra point he received. The high E rank mission was supposed to be a 50 point mission that regularly takes 3 people to complete. Due to the high risk. Tareru completed it solo, wanting all the points.
Tareru thought maybe that chunin didn't speak pure bullshit and actually put in a word or two for him, or Commander Tsurakoto took some pity on him, and gave some extra points. Letting go of his miniscule pride Tareru made his way toward the contribution centre.
He asked the lazy chunin for a piece of chakra paper, receiving it he sprinted to the red light district where his home was located. He entered his apartment through the window due to boobytrapping his whole door. He learned the hard way thieves like to steal from kids.
He washed up quickly being impatient with his task as he made a quick 6 egg omelette and a plate of rice. He looked over the piece of chakra conductive paper. This would determine his future path. Tareru's ambition was to master all 5 paths one day so he didn't really care which element affinity he had, but wished it was fire due to its use in war and its destructive prowess, he wouldn't mind earth for its defensive nature and survivability. All he wished was that it wouldn't be wind. Because he was in the land of fire and wind is rare here there aren't many wind type justu he could learn as a genin until he was at least jonin level of access. If he had a jonin sensei then yes he would pray for wind. But right now as a broke genin it was on the lowest of priority.
He grabbed the piece of paper not daring to do anything else with it he injected his chakra into the paper that would determine his future.
Damp
Water, he was fine with it. Versatile, defensively and offensively. His mind wandered over the use of water release as the rice cooker indicated his rice was done. After having a big dinner and protein bar for shinobi. Tareru passed out on his futon. He will train in his affinity tomorrow. He was unsure how to increase his water affinity but he knew one thing for sure. He was gonna go full Tobirama. He was going to make sure people would fear getting near water.
And he was for sure going Tobirama on some Uchiha.
