Mirabel was getting taught how to dance so that she couldn't make fun of herself by tripping over. She had tried multiple times, she hadn't danced with a partner before she knew it wasn't going to be easy.

"Mija it's okay to mess up you know that?" Héctor nodded

"What if I –" She coaxed

"None of that, if you are in that mindset Carina it's not going to help ". Héctor smiled

"Lo siento, old habits ". She apologised

"Let's try this again, let your body do the work". Héctor advised

Mirabel nodded knowing this was something she was working on, she was usually great at this but with a partner not so much she knew she was a klutz. Poor Miguel was watching as Héctor tried to teach Mira how to dance with a partner.

'What are you doing, you're going too fast'

Imelda smirked softly chuckling at the site that Héctor was trying to teach Mirabel how to dance with a partner.

"I love him but sometimes he has the wrong ideas ". Miguel smiled softly

"I know Mijo he's a great teacher, but not the best when it comes to dancing ". Imelda chuckled

"You're telling me". He sighed

Imelda laughed and sighed as she went to wash up for lunch, leaving Miguel watching from afar she honestly didn't know what to do sometimes.

'You're scaring her, that's it I've seen enough ". He sighed determined

Miguel knew this was not going to work if Héctor kept going like this, this was certainly one way to put it.

"I can't watch anymore of this". Miguel called

Mirabel turned to see him walking towards them and Héctor sighed.

"I wasn't getting it all". She sighed smiling

"I can see that, although Papá Héctor isn't the greatest teacher when it comes to this". He whispered

"Ouch.. Mijo I like to see you do better to teach her". Héctor smiled softly

"Si, much better than whatever this is". He gestured to the floor

Héctor huffed and sighed as he turned the radio up and on came 'Moondance' a jazz song that fits perfectly for the two of them.

"Are you sure about this?" She asked

"Si". He nodded

"Estas bien Mira?" He called

"Si, it's just…"He drifted

"I promise I'll catch you, if you mess up that's fine ". He winked

'He is so sweet, to do this for me. I can do this it's okay it's Miguel dancing with you He would never let you go'

Mirabel smiled softly chuckling.

"Listo?" He asked

"Si". She sighed

When the music started she sighed looking at her feet, Miguel noticed this and drifted her eyes to look at him.

"Try not to look at your feet, here focus on me my eyes ". He said

Mirabel smiled, looking into his soft brown eyes smiling as they danced slowly and she spun slowly into him she was surprised she didn't jab him in the ribs.

"See, Told you I'd never let you go". He smiled

As they twirled Héctor was watching with pure amazement and sighed, Maybe he was a better teacher Imelda then came in smiling.

"Like you". She sighed

Héctor turned to his wife and smiled.

"I guess so Mi Amor ". He laughed

"I think you already know ". She replies

As they watched the two dance Imelda smiled took off her apron and dusted herself off, smiling as she watched.

"Between you and Me, Mi Vida you weren't a bad teacher". Imelda whispered

"Really, Huh I knew it". Héctor laughed

"Don't push it". She stated standing tall

"Alright, Alright don't do it". Héctor pleads so he doesn't get hit with his wife's boot

She laughed softly chuckling.

Meanwhile, Miguel and Mirabel were dancing to their hearts' content smiling softly at each other as they danced. As they touched and held hands the sparks flew and they both knew this was something special.

"There you go". He chuckled

"Gracias, for helping". She whispered leaned into his touch

He smiled feeling comfortable as they danced.

"There is nowhere I'd rather be". He sighed

"Really? Not even in the plaza". She joked

"Ha, ha very funny ". Miguel rolled his eyes

As they twirled and laughed this was something to be grateful for and they didn't mind not one bit, they knew they were each other's world.

Miguel smiled leaned gently in as they twirled and tangoed their hearts out.

"What were you so worried about?" Miguel asked

"No se, just afraid of tripping and making a fool of myself ". She answers

"You, know that's one of your strengths ". Miguel nodded

"Yeah right". She sighed

"No, I'm serious that's why I love you. Being yourself is your biggest strength don't think that's a bad thing". He said

Mirabel's face turned crimson red as she thought she was hearing things, she thought her best friend just said that he loves her she couldn't believe it.

"Que?!" She coaxed

Miguel smiled turning red himself smiling softly, as they stopped dancing .

"Y-you love me". She stumbled

"Of course I do, how i could not". He laughed

"You realise what your saying ". Mirabel breathed

"I know". He smiled

Mirabel was completely speechless at what he just said. Miguel knew what he said and knew he meant it.

"You know you're talking to me". She cleared up

"Si, what's so bad about it?" He asked clearly confused

"It's me". She answers

"Yes, the point would be Mira ". Miguel smiled

"Why me, girls like me don't get attention from friends especially when it's you". She sighed

"Que? Where did that come from". He asked

"That's how it's always been for me". She answers

"Well, That can change you do love me?" He coaxed

"Of course I do more than ever I just…" Mirabel drifted

"Then that's all that matters, who cares and girls like you really?" He stood

"If it's gonna be that way, then we can make them jealous ". Miguel adds

'Always making me smile, Ay Miguel you have my heart'.

Miguel smiled inching closer to her, Mirabel sighed softly chuckling as he gently took her hands in his slowly dancing and swaying to make her laugh. It was the most precious thing in the world to hear Mira's laughter and he wouldn't change it for the world.

Héctor smiled softly watching the two as he swayed with the music, Imelda smiled and took his hand in hers.

"Seems like they have everything ". Imelda smirked

"As do we Melda". He laughed

Meanwhile, the two lovebirds were dancing as Mirabel leaned into Miguel's touch and to him it was like heaven.

"Te Amo Musico ". She mumbled

He smiled at the nickname and wished to hold that forever, he was so lucky to have her heart and to love like he does.

"Te Amo Mira, Mi Amor ". He sighed

Maybe dancing with a partner wasn't so bad after all especially if that partner is your soulmate…
