'How did I let myself get this far? It was only supposed to be one date!' Zuko had thought to himself. He was sitting on the family couch inside of Jin's home. In front of Zuko was a small table. And on the table were two moon cakes and a cup of tea on a plate. One moon cake had already been eaten by Zuko and some tea had been drunken.

Jin, a customer who had a little crush on Zuko/Lee was currently taking a hot bath after a long date night. She had invited Zuko/Lee into her home. Her parents were away on a business trip.

Zuko had gripped his knees and sighed. Then, he slowly remembered what happened that day.

Within the massive capital of the Earth Kingdom... the former Fire Nation royal prince, Zuko had went on a date with an Earth Kingdom girl, named Jin. He didn't want to, but his uncle had pressured him into doing it. So, he let the girl take show him around Ba Sing Se. They had went to a restaurant-where Zuko had failed to juggle.

"Hey, uh... Jin?" Zuko had asked.

"Yes, Lee?" Jin asked in response, as she had taken his hand and walked him through the streets of Ba Sing Se.

"I don't mean to sound haste, but... where are we going?" Zuko had asked.

"Isn't it obvious?" Jin had looked back to Zuko as she led him to the destination. "To the Firelight Fountain, silly." She answered with a smile on her face. She was excited to see the Firelight Fountain.

The young pair of teens had walked for a while, passing street after street to reach the rendezvous point. And as they had arrived there... the lanterns at Firelight Fountain were not lit. Everything was dark.

Jin had frowned. "I can't believe it. The lanterns are not lit."

Zuko knew that the lanterns were out. He then looked to Jin and saw that Jin was looking down at the ground, disappointed. He had felt some empathy for her and then something had clicked within his mind. He made his decision. "Close your eyes, Jin."

"Hm?" Jin had looked at Zuko with a bit of confusion.

"Just do it. Trust me." Zuko asked Jin.

"Oh, okay." Jin had then placed her hands over her eyes. Covering her face.

Zuko watched Jin cover her eyes and had then turned to the non-lit lanterns. As he was about to work some magic... he quickly turned back to Jin. "And no peaking."

"Okay." Jin had nodded.

Zuko smiled as he had received Jin's word. He then turned to the lanterns and had taken a deep breath. He knew that he was going to do what needed to be done. Zuko had taken a Firebending stance and had performed bending to light the lanterns. He bended flames as quietly as he could. He then exhaled air and looked to Jin, whom was still covering her eyes. She did not peak like he asked. "Okay. You can open your eyes, now."

Jin had opened her eyes like he asked and saw the lanterns ignited by flames. She gasped, surprisingly. "Oh, wow!" She had seemed enthralled in the spectacle looking around saying... "What happened? What happened to the light? What did you..." Jin had looked to Zuko-only to be greeted with a kind smile.

Zuko wasn't just happy for her. He was happy for himself. He then looked at the Firelight Fountain view and loved it.

There was total silence for a moment as they had both enjoyed watching the Firelight Fountain.

Jin loved it. She had remembered seeing the Firelight Fountain as a child. And now, she's witnessing the beautiful lights, yet again. But... there was something else she was more interested in. She had secretly glanced to Zuko. "Hey, Lee."

"Yes?" Zuko had replied.

"This is a nice view, right?" Jin had asked.

"Yeah." Zuko said as he kept staring at the view. And then, suddenly... he gasped when he felt something touching his left hand. He quickly looked down at his left hand to see it being touched by Jin's right hand. He quickly looked at Jin's face to see her staring at him with a smile. Zuko had blushed a bit as he then saw Jin move her face closer to his.

Jin was leaning her face closer to his in an attempt to kiss him.

Zuko had begun to feel nervous as he realized what Jin was trying to do. "Um..." Zuko had quickly dug into his pockets and pulled out some coupons for the tea shop where Zuko works. "I got you some coupons. For a free cup of tea."

Jin had chuckled. "You're sweet, Lee." She quickly placed Zuko's hands down and moved her face closer and closer. "I have something for you, too." Jin said with a blush on her face. "Please, close your eyes."

Zuko had closed both his eyes, like Jin asked. Within a second, Zuko had suddenly felt something touching his lips. He quickly opened his eyes to see Jin kissing him. Her eyes were closed, though. He was shocked and surprised at the same time. He didn't know what to do, except continue to let her lead him on. So, Zuko decided to close his eyes and kiss her back. Pecking her lips.

This continued for a moment, until the kiss had been broken.

Jin had smiled and blushed heavily in front of Zuko.

Jin had placed her hands behind her back and looked to Zuko's feet. "Yeah. It was. And to be honest, this was my first ever kiss."

"Mine, too." Zuko said.

Jin had then looked at Zuko's handsome face, despite his scar. She stared at his scar for a second. "Can I..."

Zuko had known that Jin was talking about his scar. He slowly nodded and closed his eyes.

Jin had then slowly placed raised her right hand toward Zuko's face and carefully caressed Zuko's face. She gently touched his scar. "Do you mind... taking me home?"

Zuko had quickly opened his eyes. "What?"

'And then, she invited me-a total stranger into her home.' Zuko gripped both sides of his head.

"Wow. This is a... nice house you have." Zuko said as he looked inside of the low-class, two-storied house. He saw some nice plants and furniture.

"Thank you." Jin had smiled and winked. "There are only a few nicer two-storied houses in the lower district and my father managed to find one.

"Um, if you don't mind me asking, Jin..." Zuko had looked to Jin.

"Hm?" Jin looked to Zuko.

"Do you live alone, or-"

Jin shook her head no. "I wish I did, but I don't. I actually live with my parents." Jin smiled at Zuko.

"Are they around, or are they..."

Jin had then giggled. "What's with the asking me a hundred questions?" Jin had grabbed Zuko's right hand. This caught Zuko's attention. "And no. My parents aren't home for the time being..."

"Huh?"

"They're away on a business trip-and they won't be back for another five days. Leaving me all alone with the house." Jin stated.

Zuko had frowned. "Wow. You must feel very lonely."

"Not really. I do have some girlfriends-"

"What?" Zuko asked as he looked at her a bit confused.

Jin giggled. "Girlfriends. You know, girls as friends. Girls that I talk to, here in Ba Sing Se. What did you think that I was talking about?" Jin had smiled at Zuko.

"Oh. "Girl... friends." Zuko said as he then understood what Jin meant.

"And I also do visit the tea shop that you work at." Jin said.

"Right..." Zuko said, feeling a bit weird in his gut.

Jin had giggled in front of Zuko, then stretched her arms upward. "Well... I'm going to take a nice hot bath, now. Would you like to join me?"

Zuko had gasped as his face had turned red. Red as a tomato out of embarrassment. "T-Take a bath with you? Are you serious?" His right eye widened fully as he asked Jin.

Jin had laughed. "Silly Lee. I was only kidding. I just met you." She nudged Zuko in the upper arm, near the elbow.

"Right. Haha." Zuko said, feeling relieved. He had put on a fake smile.

"But, seriously. Before I start, I'm going to bring you some sweets. You can make yourself feel comfortable." Jin had winked to Zuko.

Zuko had closed his eyes and sighed, once more. He was really disappointed in himself. He let himself get this far with Jin-despite only knowing her for only a single day. 'You know what? Screw it. As soon as Jin comes back, I'm going to tell her that this can't work, anymore. I can't keep seeing her. Or else-'
