Chapter 2: visiting the estates
The next morning we see Hiruzen and Naruto walking down the hall of the hospital and the hospital personnel are Glaring at the young boy because they couldn't complete their plan to kill the demon child while the hokage was with him so they settle with scorning him but soon the whole hospital was shrouded in killing intent (KI) from the hokage. Everyone was affected by it except for Naruto and the anbu Hey, Gigi can we head to the ninja shop first before the compounds? Naruto suddenly asked this got Hiruzens' attention. "Why is that Naruto-kun?" "Well, you see I usually get kicked out of shops or get charged a lot more for insufficient goods." Hiruzen narrowed his eyes "Naruto please raise your shirt" Naruto looked confused but complied just the same when he raised his shirt there was a mixture of emotions on his face from Anger to sadness but the strongest emotion was guilt. "Naruto I am so sorry that I couldn't be there for you as much as I wanted to if only those damn civilian council members didn't give me so much paperwork I would have been there for you more," Hiruzen said with sadness and guilt in his voice. "It's fine Gigi I'm ok just knowing someone loves me," Naruto said with a true smile not one of his foxy smiles, one that is only reserved for those he truly considers precious. "Thank you Naruto-Kun. Now let's go get you some new clothes and fresh food.
As they walked down the road Naruto spotted a man with platinum blonde hair carrying a girl that looked like his age with the same colored hair "Hey, Gigi who is that?" Hmmmm, oh that is Inoichi Yamanaka and his daughter Ino-Chan." Hiruzen answered him, "I see." Naruto said "Hokage-sama how are you doing today" a voice called out Hiruzen then chuckled Inoichi-kun I am doing well how are you and Ino-Chan doing?" Hiruzen asked "Me and my princess are going well. We were just coming back from seeing my wife." Naruto looks down with a sad face and Inoichi sees this he looks at Hiruzen and he just nods Inoichi nods back and looks at Naruto and he smiles "I don't blame you. I know the difference between a scroll and a kunai. You will always be welcome at my compound ok?" Naruto looked at him and smiled, "Thank you Yamanaka-San." You're welcome, Uzumaki-San. I must be going now, have a great day." Inoichi and his daughter then left Naruto and Hiruzen by themselves. "Are you ok Naruto-kun?" "Yes, Gigi." As he continued to stare at where the two Yamanakas were heading. "Is there something that interests you?" Hiruzen asked, "That Ino girl was cute." Hiruzen smiled and then turned to a serious face "Naruto-kun I will give you some advice if you want to protect her from the civilians. Keep your affection for her low because she may get put in danger to try and hurt you emotionally ok?" "So give up on her?" He asked, "No, don't give up, instead protect her from the shadows, and when the day comes when they will accept you then go after her and never let her go."
There was a silence that came over them as they walked to the shinobi shop as they entered the shop "Welcome to Higurashi's ninja shop and supplies. Oh hokage-sama. How are you on this great day?" A tall bald man with scars over his body and muscles that are bigger than Naruto's head. "Dean, I have told you many times to call me Hiruzen," Hiruzen chuckled. " Right, I will try to remember that Hokage-sama," Dean smiled knowing that it would bother his old friend "So who is this?" "This here is Naruto-Kun. We are here to get him some clothes and anything else he wants to get." Dean nodded. I see well I am going to give you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. If you come and get supplies from me your first order will be 50% off." Naruto then looked at Dean with calculating eyes not sure if he should trust him but Naruto looked over at Hiruzen who smiled and nodded. Naruto smiled looked back to Dean and bowed. "Thank you Dean-San I will take you up on that."If I am going to get 50% off then I will take him up on that I will probably be charged three times more later. He thought to himself "Dad! Mom said lunch is in a few minutes." a girl with Chinese clothes and hair styled into two buns as she descended the stairs. "Oh, thank you, Tenten. Are you two hungry?" Dean asked, "I am what about you Naruto-Kun?" There was no answer Hiruzen turned to Naruto but when Hiruzen looked at him. Naruto was staring at Tenten which didn't go unnoticed by the two men. Hiruzen cleared his throat which broke Naruto out of his staring. "What did you say?" Hiruzen chuckled, "I asked if you were hungry?" " Yeah, I am." Naruto responded, "We will take you up on your offer Dean." "Ummm. Gigi." Hiruzen looked over at him, "What is it Naruto-kun?" "Can we please get the items first before we go eat?" "Sure, you go and get what you want. I will talk to Dean a little bit." "Ok, Gigi."
Naruto went around the store "Hey Kyu-Chan, what do you think I should get?" "Well, Naru-Kun. I say grab 500 shuriken, 25 kunai, chakra ink and paper, and a katana, and remember you don't choose the katana the katana chooses its wielder. Also, grab some clothes." "What kind of clothes?" Naruto asked, "You should grab 4 different kinds, 2 different ninja wear, casual wear, and formal wear." "Ok thank you Kyu-Chan." No problem, now go get the stuff and I am going to sleep. Good night." Naruto smiled, "Good night Kyu-Chan." He then ran around and grabbed what he was told to grab. He got to the clothes spot where he noticed an orange and blue jumpsuit. He then shook his head at it "What kind of idiot wears an orange jumpsuit." In another universe another blond spiky-headed boy was hiding from Anbu after a prank sneezed "Sakura-Chan must be talking about me." "Naruto!" Naruto gave a nervous laugh "Hey Iruka-sensei" without saying another word. Iruka tied him up and dragged him to the Hokage tower. Back to the other universe naruto shivered and picked up some dark clothes and went to the changing room and changed into black Anbu pants with multiple pockets held up by a black belt and bandages wrapped around his right thigh, black steel-toed combat boots, mesh armor undershirt deep maroon shirt and a black zip-up jacket that is zipped up to the middle of his chest.
Naruto was looking around when he was drawn to the katana section. As he was looking around, a katana caught his attention, he went over to the blade and touched the handle and everything went black. "Where am I? This looks like my mindscape but it feels different." "Come to me, boy." A voice echoed all around him. Naruto began to walk, not completely sure which way to go so he followed his instincts. After what felt like hours he came to a door and he began to walk to it until the door began to open as he got closer. Soon Naruto was in the room where he saw a man sitting with his back towards Naruto." The man said, "Hello may I ask your name." Naruto asked "My name is Futsunushi. I am a god that used to be worshiped and feared for my sword and martial arts skills, however as time passed so did those who used to worship me and I would like to pass my knowledge down to you however I wish to see if you are worthy." "How will you do that?" "Simple I am going to see your memories." "Futsunushi-sama I don't think that is wise." Naruto said, "I am going to do it anyway." Before Naruto could protest, the god disappeared appeared in front of him, and touched his head. After a moment he let go with tears in his eyes "How can you still be sane you are only six years old and you went through that." Naruto looked down. It was not easy. I only thought that I would show them I am one of them and I would never hate them." Naruto said, "Naruto Uzumaki I have read your mind and I have deemed you worthy of my blade and skills show them you will not back down." He then began to glow and vanished shortly after Naruto began to glow as well, then Naruto was standing where he was before meeting the god.
"You ok you just zoned out." A voice said behind him. He turned around "Your Tenten correct?" He asked "Yep, You ready? She asked, "Ready for what?" "You have a short attention span to eat," Tenten said rolling her eyes "Oh yeah. Let's go then" "Sure" then they went upstairs."
