No One's POV

McMahon Estate..

Stephanie McMahon relaxed at her desk after hanging up the call from the Damage Control leader. She knew trusting Martinez and her squad to handle that small task of raiding and destroying a warehouse in Khan's territory. The brunette disliked the competition however she feels that her family are moving too chaotically for her tastes. Not only are they dealing with the long-lasting feud with the Hart family, but Vince has her little sister going after the Carter family with the Flair's youngest. Not only the Dixie's crew but hunting down Trish Stratus too. She's almost died once already; Stephanie thinks Daisy's too inexperienced to handle all of this with Charlotte Flair. Stephanie hates the blonde Stratus woman with every fiber of her being. Why wouldn't her father let her pursue Stratus? Stephanie had what it takes to get the job done but the favoritism toward the younger brunette is preventing him from seeing that. He's going to get her sister killed. Why can't he see that? The Billion Dollar Princess shouldn't be playing with the newbies like the Khans, the Carters have existed for far too long.

Twenty minutes had passed since she received word that the mission had been a success and Stephanie thought over several strategies of their next move on the Khan family. She wanted to take out this family as swiftly as possible to help out with the Carter family. Charlotte and Daisy were attempting to fight Gail Kim and Trish Stratus on their own. It almost resulted in her little sister dying. She got lucky that the youngest Flair was with her. They are a good team; they always have been but now with the death of Andrade, Charlotte was more of a liability. She should be mourning, not planning a manhunt for her husband's killer. Yes, finding the bastard responsible needs to happen; Andrade needs to be avenged. However, it's important that young Charlotte takes time to process this tragic loss and think with a clearer head. Rushing forward like this, it's only going to end badly. Why did they constantly have to fight and kill each other? Stephanie disliked killing herself but sadly, this was the world she was born into and walking away from it would spell her death. All Steph wanted to do in life was become a successful businesswoman or a lawyer but instead, she's a monster.

A loud knock snapped the older McMahon woman out of her thoughts, she was not expecting Bayley and her squad to have returned so soon. "Enter!" The door opened and Stephanie didn't see Damage Control but instead her sister and Charlotte Flair accompanied by Damian and Baron. "Ah sister, nice of you to grace me with your presence. I wasn't aware you were home. Lady Charlotte, how are you doing?"

Ever since delivering the tragic news of El Idolo's death, the youngest McMahon has remained by her best friend's side. They have been friends ever since Daisy learned about her lineage and settled into the family. Stephanie's attention went over to the slightly taller blonde and noticed the tired look in her eyes. She hadn't been sleeping well which is justified. Stephanie couldn't imagine the pain she's going through. "I am managing Stephanie; I appreciate your concern." Flair responded softly, looking over to the brunette beside her. She smiled. "Daisy has been helping me with the funeral planning. We recently arrived at the estate from my place."

"I've told you to rest Char, I can do what's needed here." Daisy cooed, pointing over to the couch. The brunette knew how little Charlotte's been sleeping and eating, her best friend has been running on fumes.

"No. I'm not stopping until that bitch has a bullet in between her eyes." She let out a low snarl, the only picture in the back of her mind was the unknown woman that killed her husband. Some child managed to kill Andrade but that useless bitch with Legado survived. How unlucky.

Stephanie wanted to try to talk Charlotte down and agree with her sister to get some much-needed rest. She knew how pointless such a thing would be. "Ah, has Judgment Day discovered who is the culprit? Is there anything I can do to be of assistance?" The older McMahon asked genuinely wanting to provide some aid to the young heiress. If some of her people assisted them, the mission would go smoother.

"Ric and Father are busy having a meeting and I don't wish to disturb them. We wish to borrow the files on Stratus, Dumas and the Copelands." Daisy explained.

"Oh? Yeah, I have a copy of the files. They are a bit outdated however since it's been about five years since we had any new information about them." Asking for such old information seems a bit unorthodox but it wouldn't hurt them to learn as much as they can about their opponents. They both underestimated the traitors and Dixie's people and in result, they might have gotten a bit humbled. She was aware that both of the heiresses are still wishing to pursue them, there was no convincing them otherwise. "Top shelf on the left side."

"Priest, fetch them for me, please." The younger McMahon spoke, giving the taller man behind her a smile. Stephanie wasn't aware that please was in her sister's vocabulary, she doesn't even really speak like that to anyone.

"Yes MiLady." Damian looked down to the young McMahon with a smile on his face and made his way over to the box on the top of the shelf which were labeled 'Outdated Files/Former Members'.

Stephanie turned to the younger brunette again, she noticed the small amount of pain on her face. Stratus managed to wound her badly with that knife but thankfully she missed any vital spots. She was thankful for that. "Daisy, are you doing okay? Is your wound healing alright?"

Those questions made the barely taller brunette release a scoff, she folded her arms across her chest. "I don't need you to pretend to be concerned about me, Stephanie." She scoffed with noticeable venom in her voice.

Stephanie wanted to argue back with her younger sister, this family competition is so pointless. Yeah, Stephanie does have a slight dislike for her sister but it's because of how much of a fucking brat she is. Charlotte was the one that acted first, reaching over and gently placing her hand on the brunette's forearm. "Daiz, shimmer down, she does care about you." The Flair heiress had two brothers at one point, she understood the sibling rivalry, but their relationship should come first. Ever since Reed's death, Charlotte has appreciated all the time she's had with her brother, David. Stephanie and Shane do care about Daisy as their younger sister; Charlotte has seen it time and time again. The Queen turned to the older McMahon, wanting to get back to the topic at hand. "The murderer of my husband is some young girl that's running around with Lita and Trish. Do you know anyone with orange hair?"

"No. I do not."

"Do they have a kid or something?" Charlotte asked but immediately shook her head no at the answer. The timeline wouldn't add up unless one of them had a child as a preteen. No, that seems very unlikely, and Trish or Lita had a child after departing the McMahon family, she'd be in preschool. The only logical option would be adoption. Stephanie thought about the question for a second, shaking her head in response. Instead of a disappointed look on her face, Charlotte's lips curled into a devious smirk. She cackled. "I see, I do have one way of finding out but I wanted to make a little game out of it first. It's not fun reading a book if I already know the ending."

"Madam, here are the files." Damian informed Daisy, handing her the stack of five files. The brunette once again smiled at Priest. He returned the smile, turning to the blonde Flair woman. "I have the utmost faith in the Judgment Day and EST to find the woman responsible, Lady Flair."

"As yes, the Judgment Day has proven their worth to their Queen already." Charlotte agreed, they were a way more capable group compared to Legado, and they already found their target. All they need now is a name of this bitch and tracking her down will be easier. "I am already quite fond of you guys."

Hearing such a response from Charlotte baffled Priest, he could help but bow his head. "I'm honored, your Majesty."

"Now Char, you can't steal them from me." Daisy snarled playfully, looking over to her best friend. The brunette chuckled, reaching back and placing her index finger underneath the taller man's chin. She looked back at him with a smirk. "They are mine." Damian and the brunette shared another understanding gaze between each other, he kept his smile on his face.

"Now now Daiz, I'm only borrowing."

"Mhmm." Judgment Day had been with her since only the beginning, so she never needed to question their loyalty to her. Daisy lowered her finger from Priest's chin and handed the files over to her best friend. Her attention went to her elder sister. "Stephanie, how was the mission to raid Khan's warehouse?"

"Damage Control successfully stole the information and destroyed the warehouse. They retrieved some contraband and a weapons truck." The weapon's truck was merely a bonus, but this will allow some intel into the technology that Khan is getting for his people. The contraband was another bonus, Stephanie was sure that the files had the formula to manufacture the drugs but having some already made. It'll be easy to reproduce and redistribute.

"Excellent."

Daisy nodded her head pleased with the information given to her. The Khan's are the wildcard in this war so destroying them should also be a priority too. Countless times their father had tried to negotiate with them, and they decided to decline their offers. 'Stupid fools. A bunch of family rejects deserve to burn in hell.' The brunette thought the same way about the Carter family. She looked over to her other loyal servant and asked. "Corbin, has there been any new intel from our spy?"

"No Lady McMahon, besides meeting with Dixie and Ethan, the intel is limited. I'd imagined they are planning something big but it's unknown what that is." Baron Corbin was the first man that Vince assigned to the newest heir that was discovered. At first the Lone Wolf despised the spoiled brat of a child she was, but now he's one of her most loyal men. There hasn't been a time where he wasn't by her side, along with at least one member of the Judgment Day.

"Hm, that's annoying. Shane and I plan to storm the place soon and get rid of Dixie Carter forever and that bastard nephew of hers. I'm not sure if they will make a play before then." Ethan Carter the Third made an absolute fool out of her and she couldn't stand it. That man was not taking her seriously, all he did was smoke that stupid cigar and mock her. Does he not know who the fuck she was?! She's Daisy McMahon and soon, Ethan was going to be a dead man.

"Considering your devious mind to tease them with the truth, MiLady, I'd like to think that the Carters are not on the same page." Priest added in.

Charlotte let out another chuckle, setting the files over on the couch. "I love whenever you toy with your prey in such a way. So devious bestie, and I will do the same before I murder that bitch who killed my husband." She shared a smirk with her best friend, grabbing her hand and leading her over to sit down on the sofa.

"Please be cautious ladies." Stephanie advised them as she stood from her desk, walking over to the window. She noticed that it had started raining, Martinez did say that it was raining in Khan's territory. Out of all the days for it to rain, it's the day whenever the McMahons and Flairs decided to make more moves. The eldest McMahon woman couldn't help but wonder what this feeling trying to surface was. In folklore, storms were considered bad omens for things to come. She wonders if that's true but didn't get to think about it much longer as another knock happened. "Enter!"

The door opened to reveal two women wearing masks, they were removing them to reveal themselves as Bayley Martinez and Dakota Kai. It was the leader that started speaking. "Lady McMah- Oh, I am terribly sorry, Miss McMahon and Lady Flair, please forgive the interruption." She felt a wave of nervousness as both of the young heiresses watched them with narrowed eyes. Both Bayley and her girlfriend bow their heads to them, Damage Control doesn't have a lot of experience with the other heirs, they've only ever worked under Stephanie.

"No need to apologize, Martinez."

Hearing Stephanie's words reassured her for the most part, although after telling the older McMahon certain information, that uneasy feeling could return. The women shut the door behind them and walked further into the room. "Asuka, Kairi and Iyo are unloading all of the weapons and contraband that we stole from the warehouse." Bayley reported.

Daisy arched her brow looking at the present members of Damage Control, her curiosity was also growing about all the stolen goods. She snapped her fingers which attracted the attention of both Bayley and Dakota. "Corbin and Priest, please assist Damage Control."

"Yes Lady McMahon." Corbin immediately responded, heading out of the room Priest, who also responded the same thing.

Once the two men had closed the door behind them, Kai stepped forward and held something out to Stephanie. "Lady McMahon, these are the flash drives that I was able to download the files and information too. The extra one is a backup drive just in case one ever gets compromised." Dakota explained, handing over both flash drives to the Billion Dollar Princess. She didn't look at all of the files, but she did examine them on her laptop on the way home. She wanted to make sure there were no inaccessible firewalls or viruses lurking in the data. Making a duplicate was easy work for her.

"Excellent work, Dakota."

Bayley fought back a loud sigh as she stepped closer to her lover and her boss. This next part of the report was going to decide their fate once and for all. Martinez waited until she noticed the boss's gaze shift back to her before she began the second portion of her report. "Lady McMahon, I wish to report some complications during said mission. We discovered information that conflicts with our prior knowledge."

Stephanie's smile immediately faded upon what Bayley had said. "Complications? Elaborate, Martinez." This was something that never occurred with Damage Control before, they always completed their missions to perfection. Why was this one so different?

"Out of the twenty-four people present at the warehouse, only twenty-two of them were killed at the scene. Two of them escaped with assistance from the police and they were former members of this family, Paige and Ruby Riott." Two of the people that Damage Control wanted to kill managed to escape their grasps, it's troublesome. Bayley thought back to her former lover and how for the past two years, she thought she was dead. But Sasha was alive and well, and it managed to bring the brunette a little sense of relief despite knowing that she had every intention of killing Damage Control. Martinez released a sigh. "Second, there was a person there that was not accounted for and in our files, she is listed as deceased. Sasha Banks is alive and is working with the Khan family under the name Mercedes Mone."

'Sasha Banks, that's a name I haven't heard in forever.' Stephanie was well-aware how close Mercedes and Bayley were whenever they were a duo together on missions. They were still some of the best that Stephanie had at her disposal. She was fond of Sasha, and it did sting to hear of her death. But the first part of Bayley's report had sparked McMahon's interest, she had no idea that the Khan's had connections to the police. "I see. The Khans also have connections with the police, that's troublesome. Those three know your identity so it's a matter of time before they come knocking on our turf too." She folded her arms across her chest after setting the flash drives down on her desk. "This isn't good news."

Bayley and Dakota dropped down to one knee and bowed their heads. Pissing off a McMahon was bad news, and they weren't able to get a read on Stephanie's face. "Please forgive us for our failure, Lady McMahon." Maybe just maybe, the Billion Dollar Princess would spare their lives

"Stand up both of you." Her voice wasn't hostile in the slightest, and as the pair of women stood to their feet. Stephanie placed a hand on both of their shoulders, looking between the two with a small smile. "Regardless of the mishap, you successfully completed your mission. You didn't fail me. These hiccups will be addressed though, correct?" The brunette gave each of their shoulders a small squeeze.

"I'll make sure that those three are dead next time I see them." Paige and Ruby could rot in hell for all she cared. They deserved it. But what about Sasha, Mercedes as she called herself, was Bayley going to be able to pull the trigger on her? She has no choice. She has to protect her squad and herself but to kill the woman that once had her heart, the woman that supposedly died in her arms. Would that be possible? Bayley did her best to mask the conflict racing in her mind.

"Excellent, I wish to see the spoils of your mission. Let's go ladies." Stephanie gave the order, and the two members of Damage Control walked toward the door. All of this contraband was going to benefit her greatly and give the family quite the age whenever it comes to the knowledge of Khan's weapons and drugs. Stephanie looked over to the young heiresses still present in the room. "Sister and Lady Charlotte, take all the time that you need to review the files."

"Thank you, Stephanie, you've been a great help." Charlotte gave a tired smile over to the older McMahon as she turned her heels and walked away with the members of Damage Control present. As the door shut, Charlotte couldn't help but smirk, her eyes looking away from the files and over to the brunette beside her. "It's only a matter of time, Daisy, this is all going to go our way soon."

Daisy crossed one leg over the other, nodding her head in agreement with the Flair heiress. She felt Char touch her thigh, giving it a couple pats. "I know, it's got me so excited. I'm ready." She fought back a laugh while looking down at the file of none other than Trish Stratus herself. That smile only grew in one of malicious intent the longer she stared at the file. "First, I'm going to kill Dixie and Ethan Carter and then, I'm going to kill Stratus. She won't beat me again."

Trish's POV

The next day.. The Carter Estate..

The four of us managed to arrive at the estate a little earlier than the anticipated meeting time. Instead of the vehicle containing just my bestie and me, this time Becky and her 'totally not girlfriend' is here with her. I think having Sonya around has been able to keep Becky's spirit high. It's only been a few days since Deville has been released from the hospital and the best option for her is to stay with us until we can make sure she won't be in danger. The raven-haired woman has been a very pleasant guest and the opposite of the crowd I thought Bex was originally hanging around with. She saved her life and was willing to give up her own in the process. Sonya's crush on our Lass was obvious from the first glance I saw she gave Becks. Now after everything that happened, I can say that it's way more than a simple crush. They are both young and figuring their feelings out and I support them being together if they do go down that path. We all climbed out of the car and closed all the doors whenever Gail came into view. The Korean woman's eyes glanced back at the younger women and her lips parted in shock. "Trish, are you sure that Becky and Sonya should be attending these meetings?"

"Yes Gail, sadly, I can't protect them from what's to come so they need to be aware of the situation and our plans." No matter how strong I think I am, getting shot by Charlotte made me realize that I am not invincible. I could have died at that exact moment but by some miracle, the blonde heiress managed to miss my heart. My cockiness almost destroyed our family.

The Korean woman looked over toward the two youngsters with a sympathetic gaze, nodding her head in understanding. I was being careless beforehand, and a situation like that cannot happen again. I can't be everywhere at once and neither can Li. My best friend decided to speak, "We were also thinking of having them temporarily relocated to the Carter territory for protection with permission from the Carters and yourself." This was a late-night discussion that Lita and I had last night. It was hard for us to sleep peacefully until we decided the best plan for them. If something were to happen to us, I need to ensure that Becky and Sonya would be well taken care of, and the Carter family might be able to provide that.

As predicted, Becky immediately let out a small snarl and snapped her attention over to the older redhead. We know how hard it's going to be on her, that's why we never mentioned our plan until now. "Red, what the fuck are you talking about? I'm not leaving you and Blondie." She's never spent a single night away from us ever since we pretty much adopted her. We are her safety net and her definition of home even if Becky would never admit it out loud.

"Little Red, it's for your safety as well as Sonya's. You were right, I can't always be around to protect you, and the gym was enough of a reality check for Li and I."

She stared at me for a second before shaking her head left to right. "... I'm staying, I'll fight with you." I know she's terrified as much as I am, but I am trying my best to prevent a situation where these two are involved in our battles. I'm delaying the inevitable, and if I don't separate them for me, they will be completely devoured by this war.

I have two purposes in life at this exact moment, one of them is to kill the McMahon family and the more important one is to protect my family. She's my kid. I'll do anything for her and right now, the best option is for her to not be by our side "Becks, I know you are wanting to fight but let's consider their plan for the time being. I'm not fully healed yet either. I'm a liability to you guys right now." Sonya included herself into the conversation, trying to get Bex to agree with Lita and me. The orange-haired Lass didn't argue about the topic further but instead huffed in annoyance. "I was thinking we could hide out at my place, but I have no clue which turf I reside on."

It's sad to say that this entire city has been taken over by the main four families so no matter where you live, you are stuck in a territory. "Put your address on Google Maps and I'll tell you." I instructed, pulling out my phone and opening the Map app. If Sonya resides in the Carter turf or even the Khan's, I might consider that as another option. She goes to Gail's gym so she's close by, I hope anyway. The raven-haired woman did what I asked and typed out her address. Zooming out briefly, I recognized a couple streets and big establishments that gave me the answer I needed. "...Yeah, that's Flair territory, I want you both safe."

"Fuck, just my luck."

"Becky, it's only a matter of time until Charlotte Flair comes after you. We are running out of time until she figures out your identity."

".. So much for being lucky, fuck!" If this was any other scenario, we probably would have chuckled about her stereotypical Irish heritage.
"Perhaps I can be of some assistance in your matter." Another voice chimed in, causing everyone's' heads to turn back to the entrance of the Carter estate. That Southern drawl was really easy to recognize. I noticed the smile on Bex's face as Mickie made her way over to the group. "Becky and Sonya, I'm glad to see that you are both okay."

"Mrs. James-Aldis, I'm so happy to see that you are alright too!" Becky didn't waste any time and ran over to embrace the slightly shorter of the pair. Her heart is too pure for a world filled with monsters; James looked shocked for a brief second but returned the embrace.

"Thanks to you, kiddo."

Their connection isn't surprising, given the situation that tied them together. Becky had been worrying about the brunette since the raid happened. The motherly instinct inside Mickie really has me in debt to her. Sonya joined the two even giving the Carter woman a short embrace as well. The raven-haired woman looked at Becky. "Yeah Bex, that was badass. You're a hero."

"Mickie, how long have you been listening in on the conversation?" Gail asked, almost sternly to the brunette that shouldn't have known about our arrival yet. There's no reason to be suspicious of her, right? No, absolutely not. That's dumb, she's smart enough to know that we have been communicating with the three leaders of the Carter crew almost daily.

"Since the beginning, I was also observing to make sure no one else was watching and listening." Mickie didn't sugarcoat anything and explained her actions. That's honestly pretty smart, she's high ranking in the family so her pretending to stand guard over the Korean woman makes sense.

"Good call."

"I'd be happy to help out the two girls, but it would still have to be discussed with Dixie and Ethan as well as Gail." Mickie volunteered, she's really taken a liking to both of the girls, but I suppose that's the motherly instinct in her. She's one of the Carter Crew I trust the most at the moment. Gail, Mickie and Angelina have proven time and time again recently that their alliances are true. All three women have been constantly vouching, hell, the brunette took bullets for Becks.

"Yes, let's get in there and talk to them." The hardest part of this entire thing will be getting Becky to agree to stay somewhere else for her own safety. Ever since we took her in, the orange-haired girl never stayed anywhere else. "Do you believe the McMahon brat is telling the truth, Gail?"

"I'm not sure. We have some people that are former McMahon and Flairs, so it's not ruled out." Gail elaborated, which is the hardest part about the whole ordeal. Some men and women properly betrayed the family and others left because of money doing the talking. It's hard to decipher which people went for what reason, anyone could be lying.

"I believe she's telling the truth." My best friend spoke up.

"You do Li?"

The tattooed redhead folded her arms across her chest and nodded her head. "Yes, as much as I hate to admit that. McMahons will tell you the truth and expect you to assume they are lying." As the former Mistress of the McMahon family, I am well aware of how crafty these scumbags really are. I can't believe that I used to be as evil and heartless as them. Lita continued. "She knew that we were present in that meeting room whenever she called, that's why she did. Daisy's objective is to get under your skin and make it so where you are scrambling and focused on finding the spy and not on anything else they are planning."

"Makes sense honestly." Mickie agreed, "I have never met the youngest McMahon, but I wouldn't put it past her. That means if the spy is the distraction, they have to be planning on doing something else." Fuck, that's another good point that we will need to bring up during this meeting at some point. What could they possibly be doing in the meantime? Are they planning on attacking the estate?

If they are planning on doing something so big like that, we couldn't possibly predict when they'll strike. My intel from the inside of the McMahon family is very limited and they aren't able to gather information as frequently. However, if Shane McMahon decides to make a real move against the Carter family, I'll find out. Once again, we were outside of the door that led to the main office of the head of the family. The second in command knocked on the door several times. "Madam and Sir Carter, I have brought Trish and Lita along with their company as requested."

"Enter." The voice of the redheaded Carter woman answered back. Gail looked back to the other five of us before opening the door. No matter how many times I've come here in the past week, I still manage to feel a small wave of nervousness wash over me. One wrong thing and everything that I have worked for so far could cause this alliance to go under. The four of us walked into the room with Gail as Mickie was the last one to enter, closing the door behind her. "Hello ladies, glad to see that everyone is doing okay."

Both of the Carter heirs greeted us with a small smile which did initially surprise me. Each of them sat at their respective desks. I noticed how they both looked at us intrigued but I realized that it wasn't Li and I that they were looking at, it was Becks and Sonya. "Thank you, Dixie, I hope that you both are doing well also."

"We are." It was Ethan that responded to us. Gail walked away from the group and approached the third desk that was across from Ethan's. I don't think that was there last time we were here but it does make sense, she is an heiress to the Carter family. The Korean woman took a seat at the desk, immediately going through a stack of files that were present. "Care to introduce us to your company? Who are these ladies behind you?"

Before I even got the chance to say anything, Lita had spoken in my place. "Yes sir, this is a young lady that we took under our care whenever she was just a wee lass, her name is Becky Lynch." Both of us are well aware of the risks of bringing them into this territory and to these meetings. However, we can't sit and wait around to see how close they are to figuring out the identity of Andrade's murderer. I am ninety-nine percent certain that said spy is not present in this room right now. Becks and Sonya need to be aware of all situations that can happen. "This is her friend, Sonya Deville."

"Were both of them there whenever the gym was raided?"

"Yes Ma'am, it was thanks to Becky that my life was saved. Twice." Mrs. James-Aldis confirmed and explained briefly.

The redheaded Carter nodded her head and turned her now softened gaze over to Becks. That one sentence from the brunette confirmed everything that Dixie needed to know. "I see. You are the one that killed Andrade. You're awfully young."

She's too young to be involved in any of this, however the families have drafted even younger souls into their ranks. The false promises of power or money. I've seen it with my own eyes, kids dying for the sake of these tyrants. Some have even died on my orders, I'll be disgusted with myself for the rest of my life but for now, I have to protect them both. "Aye yes ma'am." Becky managed to utter out, it was barely a mumble. Lita placed her hand on her right shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze. Bex's eyes looked between the both of us, I could only reassure her with a smile at the moment. She exhaled a deep breath and continued. "At first I was disgusted by the whole thing, but I understand now that it needed to be done for my s-survival and others."

Her voice was starting to crack, I'm so sorry that you have to go through all of this. Lita wrapped an arm around her waist and embraced her softly. She was whispering reassuring words to her and giving a small kiss to the orange-haired woman's forehead. Sonya gently caressed the other arm, trying to calm her. Deville's definitely putting on a brave face for the sake of Becky. Kids shouldn't be going through this. Fuck.. She's a kid too; Sonya almost died and yet, she's forcing herself to be strong. "That is the sad reality of this world, young one, I am grateful for you for aiding and saving my people. All of you did."

"I wish I would have been able to prevent this Dixie, I truly do." Regardless of my assassination of Paul Heyman, this was on their agenda. How soon were they attempting to do so, that's unknown.

"You did all that you could, Trish and Lita, I appreciate the assistance."

"Aunt Dixie and I discussed your plan some more and we are definitely willing to push things forward." Ethan Carter the Third revealed. I fought back the urge to smirk at the news. I've been itching to raid that stupid estate and permanently get rid of one of the leaders of the McMahon family. Anything to get me closer to killing Vince. The brunette gentleman continued. "We've selected a squad that will accompany you whenever we get confirmation on the day required to execute this plan."

The redhead woman's attention turned away from her nephew and looked back to us. "Ethan and I selected some of our best workers and skilled assets from the Carter family. They will be informed the day of said mission to avoid any possibility of this intel getting leaked. Their files are on Gail's desk for you to look over."

"I agree with said plan and helped with picking the members accompanying you-"

Gail never got to finish what she was attempting to say as the monitor started flashing and a number popped onto the screen. "Aunt Dixie, someone is requesting a video chat with us." Oh, dear god, again, this timing can't be a coincidence, can it? However, it looks like this person isn't attempting to hack into the system like that brat.

"I don't recognize this number." Dixie looked over to her nephew perplexed before moving the cursor over the accept button and clicked. "Hello? Who is calling me?"

The first thing I noticed was that the video wasn't in color but instead was monochromatic with shades of white, grays and black. It reminded me of a classical movie from way back. Instead of a McMahon or Flair on the other screen, there sitting at a desk was a woman that I don't believe I have seen before. Her hair, I believe is blonde, reminded me of the late Marilyn Monroe as she was nestled in a fur coat and casually sipping on a glass of wine. Her lips curled into a smile as the woman looked to the screen. I noticed a tall, bald man wearing a suit standing behind her. I don't recognize him. "Ah, I am frankly surprised that you would answer any unknown call, but I appreciate the gesture dearly. I am the illustrious Toni Storm, the newest heiress to the Khan family. It is a pleasure to meet with you both, Dixie Carter and Ethan Carter the Third." Toni?! Wow, she looks completely different from the last time I saw her. That kid managed to leave the McMahon family and climb her way up to becoming an heiress of the Khan family. Impressive.

"So, you're with the Khan family, why are you reaching out to us?" Lita and I exchanged a glance between each other as I was wondering the exact same thing. The Khans haven't made any moves in a while either so why are they suddenly reaching out? It's not Tony Khan himself or even one of the Elite but instead, the newest heiress. Why?

The blonde woman chuckled, taking another sip of her drink. "Straight to the point, you are quite the handsome fellow, aren't you? I shan't keep you waiting." Setting the now empty glass on the table, she spoke again. "I was made aware of the attack in your territory a few days ago from the disgusting duo of the McMahon and Flair families. I wish to offer my condolences if you suffered any losses." So, word has reached the Khan family that the Flair and McMahon are working together and that they attacked the Carters.

"Thank you."

At least she's showing empathy for the situation, none of the other Khan family have reached out as of yet. Toni released a sigh, snapping her fingers to the man behind her and pointing to the wine glass. The man that I now assume is her butler started filling the glass with more red wine. "At 15:00 yesterday, a squad known as Damage Control attacked one of the major warehouses in my district. Their objective was to snatch all the information from my database, if possible, which they succeeded. My warehouse was lit up in flames. The McMahons are moving faster than Anthony and I predicted, this reeks of trouble." Wait what, the McMahons have already started making moves into their territory as well?! Not only are they dealing with the Carters and me, but they also seem to be going after the Khans. Are they actually still at war with the Harts? The brat did say that Vince had bigger fish to fry. The sterner gaze from Storm disappeared as she solemnly spoke. "There were twenty-four of my co-workers and some were dear friends of mine and twenty-two of them lost their lives to this squad of five."

Five people were able to kill so many, they have to be highly trained to do such a terrible thing. I know that the Khan family do have people in their ranks that used to be involved in the other families so it's not like they are newbies. "We are terribly sorry to hear that, Miss Storm." Dixie expressed the sorrow everyone in the room managed to feel.

I looked over to Li, who scoffed silently, trying her best to hide her anger. More people are dying because of them, this world is so cruel. Each person that dies has a family or someone that cares dearly about them. Beside my best friend were Sonya and Becky, who both had their eyes widen in shock. They were both paralyzed in fear that is a natural reaction. Sonya managed to shake the fear off first, hugging onto Becks, who continued to stare at the screen. I'm so sorry that I failed you both so bad. I'm not cut out to be a parent and now because of my desire for revenge, one of them almost died and Becky is in danger. What should I do? "Thank you, Darling. I wish to avenge those who perished because of their constant greed." That's what everyone in this room desires, those two families need to perish. Toni's eyes seemed to look between everyone standing in this room until her eyes fixated on me. "Hm? ..Are my eyes deceiving me or are you Trish Stratus?"

"Yes, I am. Toni, it's great to see you again and that you've done so well for yourself."

The blonde heiress grinned, looking over to my best friend beside me. "Trish Stratus and Lita Dumas. My my, it's been quite some time." Knowing that at least one of the Khan family members wished vengeance after the bastards caused this unnecessary bloodshed, we might be able to talk about working with them. Storm said that her and Tony Khan had been discussing the McMahons and trying to predict their moves. They are remaining unpredictable and it's hard to predict what they are going to do with so many leaders and not to mention the Flairs as well. "This Damage Control squad is a special squad that is under the bosom of Stephanie McMahon herself."

Oh? Daddy's spoiled princess is starting to make moves instead of letting her siblings do all the work. Why would the brunette be focusing on the Khans? They haven't inserted themselves in any way into this war. Attacking the warehouse would be for the sole purpose of stopping production, destroying weapons and obtaining intel. I see, Stephanie wants to stop them before they even get involved. "Of course, now Stephanie's making moves. It's only a matter of time before Shane and David start doing the same."

There were murmurs of agreement between some of the others in the room. Dixie and Ethan shared a look between each other and the redheaded woman nodded her head. The heiress on the screen watched the pair curiously, taking another sip of her wine. "Toni, it seems that they are targeting both of our families. Would you like to potentially agree to a temporary alliance until the McMahon and Flair family are dealt with?" I'm glad that Dixie is on the same page as me in that regard.

"Hm? That is a rather convincing thought, that's for sure. I-"

Whatever the blonde heiress was about to say was cut off but a door slamming open. This action caused Storm to jolt up from her seat and turn to face the door. "Miss Storm! Miss Storm, forgive the interruption but it's urgent!"

Another woman with an accented voice entered the room. She looked to be a little taller than the heiress with long, blonde hair, I assume. "What is it Mariah darling?" I don't recognize this woman named Mariah at all. The other blonde leaned over and started whispering into her ear. As time went on, I noticed that Storm's expression was starting to change from the neutral expression earlier. Her eyes were widened as I noticed that her bottom lip was quivering slightly. Toni was doing her best to keep a straight face but whatever news she received wasn't good news. "... I see. Thank you for letting me know, please leave." Toni looked away from the other woman and pointed at the door, Mariah was quick to obey. The heiress took a deep breath, and I noticed how shaky the exhale was. She closed her eyes and looked away from the camera, gritting her teeth. "The casualties of the warehouse have increased by a number; the death count is now at twenty-three. God damn it, Saraya!" The last sentence showed a different kind of anguish in her voice, this is a woman that lost someone close to her. I relate to Storm in that regard. The wine glass in her hands was gripped so tightly that it managed to break in the palm of her hand. Toni stared at the mess now on the desk and the glass shards in her hands, the butler started immediately cleaning the mess. "…Forgive me. She and I were quite close with one another, but I do sincerely apologize for the outburst."

Toni has no reason to apologize, these people are continuing to hurt and kill people that aren't involved in this. None of us are good guys but some of us don't deserve this. "They can't keep getting away with this!" The owner of the voice was Becky as Toni's attention also looked over curious to the orange-haired woman.

"Becks, lower your voice, I know sweetie I know." Lita hugged onto her attempting to console her as she fought back a couple sniffles. She's always been so empathetic whenever it comes to other people's feelings. She's a big part of my world and I never wanted her to experience any of this pain. Neither one of us has a choice now.

"Our sincerest condolences Miss Storm, we are truly sorry."

Ethan was the one to first offer his condolences to the Khan heiress, who held her shard covered hand over to her butler, he worked on removing the shards carefully. "Anthony said not to make any sudden movements however that was the final nail in the coffin. Madam Dixie, I accept your offer however the rest of the Khan family might disagree with my decision." We will have to deal with the rest of the Khan family if it ever comes to that. I'm hoping Tony Khan would be smart enough to jump in on this alliance like Storm as. She has the same motivations as I do, the McMahons took someone precious to her away and now she's hungry for revenge.

"Miss Storm, would it be possible to have a face-to-face meeting? There are things that we would prefer to discuss while not being behind a screen." Especially if there is a spy amongst the family, we aren't one hundred percent sure that they aren't listening somehow.

Toni looked over to her hand that previously had glass shards embedded inside it. She clenched the hand into a fist, nodding her head. "I suppose with how fidgety technology can be nowadays, an ol' fashion meeting sounds wonderful."

"Excellent, Ethan and I will allow you to choose the time and location for said meeting. Trish Stratus and Lita Dumas, I'd like to request permission for them to attend as well. They have been quite the help recently and could be to your benefit as well." Oh, I wasn't expecting Dixie to request permission for us to attend the meeting. If we are able to convince Storm further, perhaps we can get her help whenever it comes to raiding the McMahon estate.

Toni looked over to Li and me before nodding her head. "Hm? Very well then, I will have my assistant send you a.. what do the kids call it nowadays.. Ah yes, a 'DM' in about twenty minutes with the time and location. I do however wish that the meeting happens as soon as possible, maybe even today." She's really trying to move this along as fast as possible. Makes sense if Toni's desire for revenge could be held back by Khan if he finds out.

"That's very manageable, Miss Storm, Aunt Dixie and I agree."

"Excellent! It's been quite the pleasure doing business with you all. Ta ta for now!" Before the Carters could even say a farewell and give thanks, the screen turned black, and the call ended. Looking back to Becky and Sonya, I breathed out a sigh of relief. Before we head out to this meeting, I need to ensure their safety in the meantime. I've underestimated them before, and it almost got me killed. But if I sit around and wait to move forward, it's possible that I am going to lose more people I cherish. Never again.

My gaze met Lita's for a moment as the redhead glanced back at Becky and Sonya. She gave me a nod of her head, signaling that her thoughts are similar to mine in regard to them. My growing family needs to be protected no matter what, I'd give my life for them in an instant. "Madam Dixie and Sir Ethan, I'd like to make a request if possible."
