CHAPTER 4

Emily returned back and tried to apologize to everyone but seem too hard. After the case, Emily walked up to Morgan.

"Hi"

"Did she know about all of this?"; asks Morgan.

"Yes. I had to tell her."; respond Emily as she makes a call and hand the phone to Morgan. Reid started walking towards them.

"It's for you."; says Emily. Morgan seem hesitant to take the phone but he finally did and placed it to his ear.

The receiver just hears breathing. "Hi! Helloooo! Mommy, it works better if the caller talks too? Hello?"; says the little voice that's getting impatient.

"Hi kiddo."; respond Morgan still facing Emily with teary eyes and immediate smile.

"Morgan!"; screaming Micah on the other end of the phone.

"Is that Micah? Let me talk too."; says Reid trying to take the phone from Morgan.

Reid and Morgan continue fighting for turns of the phone, while both talking at the same time and Micah seem to respond back to each and Laughing. Garcia joined them and grabbed the phone from Morgan then place it on speaker for all to get a chance.

A few months later. Morgan is holding a clipboard while loudly calling out to someone, Garcia is complaining about the noise Morgan is making plus of the kids and people there. Reid is giving probability statistics to Emily who seem anxious and would honestly prefer if everyone was quiet. A bunch of kids wearing helmets come running towards Morgan after hearing a whistle, he gives them instructions and as they begin to run he grabs the helmet of one of the kid wearing jersey 15, written Prentiss at the back.

"We are two points behind we need a touchdown. Stop looking at the time it's distracting you, stay in the game. You hear me?"; says Morgan still holding the helmet then the whistle goes again.

"Yes!"; the child yells back.

"Get that ball and run! Go! Go! Go!"; yells Morgan shaking the kid with the helmet before the child sprint back into the field.

"Nope I am not looking."; says Emily but still looking. The whistle goes twice and everyone is cheering and running to the field to celebrate with the kids.

Morgan excitedly hugs Emily and Garcia as they celebrate. He says to Emily; "I told you she was made for Football." Emily just looks at him like she wants to kill him.

Emily and Micah gets home and Micah is still high with energy and screaming each chance she gets, Emily just flinches and exhales with each scream.

"Did you see that, Mommy? I was here. Then I was there. Here. There. Bam! Gone! Score!"; yelling Micah as she is dropping her kit on the floor leaving a trail as she walks to the couch.

"I'm still gonna kill Morgan."; she mumbles to herself. Emily walks to the phone machine as she sees there is a voice mail, she plays it as she is picking up the trail Micah left. As the voice mail ends, the house is just filled with silence and they both sharing a stare.

Emily tries to get a hold of the situation and diffuse it; "Go up, I'm gonna run you a bath then bed. Please." Says Emily with regret.

"London! Woman I am not moving again."; says Micah standing up to make her point.

"Bath, teeth & bed, now."; respond Emily as she places the load she was holding on the dinner table and directing her daughter upstairs.

"I got rights you know?"; says Micah sounding angry dragging her feet.

"I bet you do."; chuckles Emily as they walk upstairs.

JJ had called everyone into the boardroom, they have a case. She and Hotch walk in together and she start presenting the case to the team.

"We have a missing 13 years old, female. Last seen outside a boarding school just outside London. 8 hours ago her mother received this voice note, her phone has been off since then." Says JJ as she passes the folder to the team and pressing play on the audio.

[My dream is to work at the Jeffersonian, all this artifacts are timeless. (crying then screaming then it cut off).]"

Reid and Garcia immediately recognizes the voice and both look at JJ in shock. JJ then places a picture of the child on the table, which Tara picks up then pass to Rossi who stood up with surprise.

"What Rossi? Do you know the child?"; asks Tara as she takes the picture again to get a closer look. But no one answers her. Hotch then stands up and responds as he slowly faces Tara then JJ; "Her name is Micah Prentiss. Former Agent Emily Prentiss' daughter. They moved to London few years back as she took the role Chief of the London Interpol Office. Emily?"

"She is landing in an hour. She gave us all she had on Micah which is not much."; answers JJ.

"Garcia. Garcia! I need you to find more, do you think you can do that?"; commands Hotch.

"Yes yes sir"; says Garcia walking out to go to her office. Reid hasn't said anything but read the folder in front of him. The team go over possible suspects, but the list is limited as they don't have any information on Micah's life before Emily adopting her. They start focusing at the boarding school staff.

There is whispering coming from the walls but she can't make out what they're saying, Micah's head feels light and has ringing sound in her ears. As she sits up she feels a pinch pain on her left upper arm then try to stand up, it be so easier if her legs weren't so jag legged. The room looks newly furnished like someone just moved in, the bed still has plastic, the walls could use some paint. She manages to get to the door and try to open it but it's locked so she knocks and calls out.

"Lady I don't know if I should continue calling you Ms Campbell- honestly it sounds a bit fake but I really want to know who is that child in that picture?"; screams Micah banging the door. She continues banging for couple of minutes. Then she hears foot steps and a soft knock followed by a woman instructing her to move from the door.

"Don't panic Micah. Breath. Go through the list."; whispering Micah to herself as she walks back to the bed.

A woman walks in with a tray of food and places it on the floor then walks out. She doesn't recognize her, it's not Ms Campbell. "Where is she?"; asks Micah.

"Eat, you gonna need the strength. We leaving tonight."; says the woman from behind the door.

Garcia walks into the boardroom and everyone gathers around her and face the big TV on the wall.

"I dig into Bridget Lawson and cases she worked on since being a missionary. There was one that was flagged, and it happened a year before her death, they were sent on a rescue mission in Israel to get a child named Juriah Ulman-Diaz. So I went deeper, I ended up finding court records, a custody battle, Diaz vs Ulman. The father, Ari Ulman is a mossad agent with a very shady- rich family, they do scary things. It says here that the mother, Sasha Diaz died in a car crash in Canada, 5 years back and there was evidence that the child was in the car too. They couldn't prove anything as there was nothing but ashes left."; read Garcia from her monitor screen.

"It says here that Sasha was a CIA working undercover, she was really deep into her cover, her handler heard nothing from her till she showed up 7 months pregnant to quit then she disappeared again. She was investigating Ari Ulman, wow!"; says Tara.

"Garcia do you have a picture of the child?"; asks Emily.

"Holly molly!."; responds Garcia as she looks up at the bigger screen displaying the picture of the child and it's Micah.

"Could it be that Ari found Micah? If so she could be anywhere by now."; asks JJ.

"Or Sasha Diaz, we know Micah didn't die in the car like it stated. Maybe it is so for Sasha. It could have all been staged."; adds Reid.

As everyone is talking, an agent walks in with a woman and say she was asking to see agent Prentiss. Everyone share looks of confusion and shock.

"My name is Sasha Diaz. I think my child is in danger, sorry our child."; says Sasha as she faces Emily from across the room.
