The canvas pulls up to reveal the mural of the first world of Bailee's journey. The mural presents multiple newspapers reporting strange monsters appearing through portals referring as 'Hollows', the destruction of a city named "Eridu", establishments of multiple companies and corporations, reports of organizations being founded, and finally a huge stamp in the middle of the mural saying, "Welcome to New Eridu".
Bailee: New Eridu?
Outside of the house, the crystallized realm glows a very bright light, making Bailee cover his eyes for a moment. After the glowing stops, Bailee looks out the window to see it is nighttime and that his house is now in the middle of a city by a metro area. Bailee sees that the entrance to a metro station is just across the street almost two blocks away and that there are some shops and eating places nearby while some people are walking by.
Bailee: Is this New Eridu?
He suddenly feels a little rumbling and looks toward the horizon to see a dark spherical dimension entrance growing bigger at every second.
Bailee: What's happening there?
He turns and picks up a remote control and presses the power button, turning on the TV to show a news report.
"...We interrupt your regular programming for this breaking news... A Companion Hollow has suddenly appeared on Fourteenth Street and has already breached level-three containment. The Hollow Investigative Association has dispatched a team to the scene to carry out emergency protocols. Evacuation of residents in nearby blocks is underway. Please stay away from the Fourteenth Street area."
Hollows are defined as supernatural disasters that would appear out of thin air. They are shown as black spheres that are actually doorways to a dimension. As the sphere grows, everything living and nonliving will be absorbed, sent to the other side where there is almost no point of return. Right now, what Bailee was seeing is a Companion Hollow, a smaller dimension that can be absorbed into larger Hollows.
Bailee then hears a sound coming from his father's office. Walking towards it, he opens the door to see the interior of the office has been changed.
Bailee: What the?
The floor tiles is the same, the walls are now colored black with an accent design, common office chair is replaced with a type of gaming chair with Decade's color theme and logo, and the former place of the wooden office desk facing a bookshelf is now occupied by a high-tech desk with three monitors hooked to an advanced PC and the wall facing the desk is a stack of many small tv screens by 5 feet by 5 feet. That is when the middle monitor turns on to show the following: HDD System. Bailee takes a seat on the current gaming chair and looks at the screen.
Bailee: HDD System?
Below the lettering shows a fingerprint scan. Bailee thinks what to do for a moment and decides to turn on this HDD System. He raises his right index finger and presses on the icon. It scans and a robotic voice is heard as the screen changes.
IDENTITY CONFIRMED!
WELCOME BACK PERSEUS.
The boy's eyes started glowing and gasps as his vision turns white.
