He turned around, and there she was.
She quickly pulled him into a hug. He had no time to react. She pulled him closer, and he softly embraced her.
"We need to talk," she whispered into his ear, to which he simply nodded.
As he was letting go, somebody went behind him and hit him with a chair. He quickly turned around, grabbed a kettle, and broke it in the man's head. A fight broke out and another man jumped onto him. He was able to remove the man from on top of him, grabbed his head, and hit the floor with it, leaving the stranger unconscious.
The man who initially hit him with the chair ran for the door, seeing that Sasuke was holding the other man down. Sakura ran for the door and caught up with him. Grabbing him by the hair, she banged his head against the door, leaving him unconscious.
"Out" a waiter said, pointing to a sign that said "no fights."
Sasuke tied both men and started getting them out as they regained consciousness. He looked back and said "Aren't you coming?".
Sakura looked at him, confused "Me?".
"Yeah, who else?" he asked.
"Oh, alright" she said, walking out with him.
"Where are we taking them? She said, catching up with him.
"We are taking them to the station down the street" Sasuke answered.
"What did they do?" Sakura asked.
"These two? They are mad I dismantled their children's fight club. These were the last two I was missing" Sasuke responded.
"Oh" Sakura responded.
"You wanted to talk to me" Sasuke reminded her.
"Oh, yes, but I wish we were alone" Sakura said, pointing to the prisoners.
"Oh, yeah, we are almost there" Sasuke said, pointing to the station.
Sasuke went inside with the men while Sakura waited outside. He came out after 10 minutes.
"Okay, walk with me" he invited her.
"I have a message from the Hokage" Sakura said.
"Oh" Sasuke answered.
"He has a mission for you. He gave me some details, but I brought you a letter" she answered.
"Why didn't he just send a messenger bird?" Sasuke asked, confused.
"It was too dangerous. Somebody could have intercepted it, and it could have put you in danger" Sakura responded.
Sasuke opened the letter.
"Sasuke, we need your help immediately to put an end to a potentially worldwide concern. In the past six months, over 300 ninjas have disappeared. We sent several Ambu members to investigate the situation, and they also disappeared. We have sent several rescue missions, but they have also disappeared. Two days ago, 18 children from the ninja academy from the village of disappeared. We trust that you will be able to find the culprit and rescue the missing ninjas if they are still alive". Kakashi signed the letter.
"The disappearances are spread out, but we have reason to believe that Hayashi Benjiro, the hotel magnate, is involved. We have traced his movements for the last few months, and everything indicates that he might be involved" Sakura added.
"So they want me to investigate this guy" Sasuke asked.
"More like infiltrate with him" Sakura said "Here are some further instructions" she finished handing Sasuke more instructions.
Sasuke began reading the instructions.
"He will be at the 100 Lights festival in the land of shadow" Sakura mentioned.
"Alright, we will get going tonight" Sasuke affirmed.
"We? What do you mean we?" Sakura quickly asked.
"It says here it is a two-people mission" Sasuke said "Isn't that why they sent you?" he asked.
"Oh, yeah, yeah" Sakura said, surprised while blushing. She thought her mission was only to deliver the message, but Kakashi had other plans.
"Come on, let's go," Sasuke said, making his way to his hotel to pack up.
"Yeah" She said, following him.
