Sometimes I just want to write goofy shit.
Enjoy, more notes at the end!

*Itsuka POV*
Itsuka really wondered exactly where her life had gone off the rails.
The 26 year old looked at her two roommates, one reading a magazine on the bed and the other clearing trash, before she sat at their low table and slapped it with her hand to draw their attention. The two other women gave her curious looks and she adopted a serious face and took a breath.
"We have..." she began sternly, "no money."
Her roommates stared at her for a moment, then at one another, and Itsuka groaned and smacked her head against the table when one of them snickered while the other shrugged. Why she had to be the only one willing to rub her brain cells together was beyond her but her grumbling ceased when her former classmate piped up.
"I thought you had something important to talk about?" Setsuna whistled, getting back to her fashion articles, and Itsuka put a hand to her face to try and calm herself.
"This is important!" she urged but their other living partner caught her attention.
"We always have no money," Izumi reminded, having only been clearing the trash to find a bottle that still had alcohol in it, and the orange haired woman huffed.
"I mean, 'we don't even have enough for food' kind of no money," she explained but Izumi gave her a curious tilt of her head.
"I bought food yesterday," she said plainly, disappointingly eyeing her bottle after she finished the remaining contents, and she got up and flung their fridge open. "Where's the food I bought?" she genuinely wondered, looking through the empty appliance as if something would change, and Itsuka grabbed the sides of her own pounding head.
"We ate it YESTERDAY!" she cried out and Izumi seemed to at least have it in her to act sheepishly.
"Well uh...Everyone pool your money," she called and Itsuka raided her pockets while Setsuna floated a hand over to the table.
The three of them threw some assorted coins and crumpled bills onto the table top and Itsuka wanted to cry from the pitiful pile. Her roommates drew up to her sides and she planted her face down on the wooden surface with a groan while wrapping her arms around each of their waists to pull them close and listen.
"What can we buy with this amount?" Itsuka heard Izumi wonder as she stacked some coins and smoothed out the bills.
"Maybe some bags of beansprouts and a small thing of rice if we're thinking long term," Setsuna stated and Itsuka felt Izumi begin playing with her hair.
"Anything fancy we can add for our little crybaby," she teased, which Itsuka pinched her for, and the splitting greenette chuckled as if she had some grand secret.
"I have a leftover soy sauce packet from a convenience store bento," Setsuna revealed triumphantly and Izumi cheered.
"Nice!" she hummed pleasantly. "When did you have enough for that?"
"Swiped it from my co-worker," Setsuna snickered, a devious grin probably on her face, and Itsuka heard Izumi clap her hands.
"Okay! Beansprouts fried in soy sauce over rice. Food taken care of," the more optimistic greenette cheered while the orange haired woman rolled her head to the side to look up towards her.
"You've got to be fucking me," Itsuka cursed with an exasperated scowl but she heard Setsuna giggling at her reaction.
"Iya, wait for it to be night at least," her former classmate joked cutely and Itsuka whined as the other woman poked at her cheek playfully.
"Don't complain too much Itsuka," Izumi smiled, joining Setsuna in poking her. "You got canned from your job again and then used the last of your money on booze and steak," she recalled and Itsuka wanted to scold her for her zero awareness blunt attitude.
"It was just to make me feel better!" she argued, fully aware of how much money she'd actually blown, but Setsuna pouted.
"You didn't even bring us," the splitter mused, just prodding at her for a reaction, and Itsuka willingly took the bait by turning to her.
"Don't even talk Ms. chose to empty her account for makeup and gacha games," she pointedly remarked and her friend gave her a look of feigned ignorance.
Setsuna worked at a somewhat shady back alley beauty parlor doing peoples' nails.
Itsuka had thought she'd be able to land a better establishment but apparently her professional conduct was...lacking. That all basically meant that she kept getting into fights, physically, at her work and was still doing so at her current workplace though now they just treated her as their muscle. Of course her money then went to beauty products, that Itsuka and Izumi couldn't complain too much about because the three of them shared those for the most part, and gacha games that the splitter was so obsessed with that they affected her moods.
"Well what about Izzy?" Setsuna deflected, turning her attention to said woman. "I know you blew your paycheck on scratch offs and the ponies," she addressed which drew a confused look from Izumi.
"But I made money," she replied back, seemingly unsure what the issue was, but Setsuna pinched her fellow greenette's nose and give it a wiggle.
"That you then spent on pachinko," she reminded, getting a 'nu-uh' from their roommate, before she rolled her eyes. "Oh my bad, mahjong," she corrected and Itsuka's thoughts shifted.
Izumi's job was...she still didn't know what Izumi's job was.
She had asked the other woman about it and received a, 'It's a...ya know, yeah.' as an answer which meant it was clearly something she wasn't supposed to be doing. She and Setsuna didn't pry further, in the name of friendship and because Izumi was too sweet to get into real bad stuff, but the curiosity did see them wondering about it from time to time.
They were all hopeless, her roommates in a different way, but Itsuka herself didn't want to give up and turn as strange as them. They were all licensed heroes but one of them drank alcohol like water, gambled all day, and did god knew what else. The other one constantly spent money on phone games and beat up people at her day job. Then finally, Itsuka, was in and out of jobs so much that she had to mostly live off these two weirdos thanks to her catastrophically bad luck.
It might have been strange to think that three heroes couldn't make ends meet but the harsh truth was that being a good hero didn't make you a successful hero. The competitive field was just too inflated to the point that most heroes had at least a side job and in their cases there was a fatal problem.
The three of them were just too damn inefficient.
Itsuka was too slow in comparison to her fellow heroes as well as too stubborn and prideful to be someone else's prop up in a team. Setsuna was an underground hero due to her fighting style but got shown up by others who were stronger thanks to their quirks. Finally, Izumi had some of her vices prior to heroics which she said she only went into out of curiosity because everyone did it and so she simply ended up licensed.
They'd ended up living together through some twists and turns but saying their apartment was small was an understatement. It would have been too small for two people let alone three and the three of them were, by all accounts, sloppy losers.
Setsuna's beauty products were hoarded until the last drop, Izumi sometimes just brought random shit that she 'acquired' somehow while also throwing useless papers and bottles around, and Itsuka always got so bummed out with job issues that she left her clothes and dishes everywhere. They were a collective mess that did nothing about their collective mess.
How they were still managing to get by in a 1R apartment unit without going crazy was beyond her especially considering the way they cut expenses by doing things together. For the most part the three of them cooked together, washed up together, slept in the same bed, and got ready for the day together.
Itsuka wouldn't say that the three of them were exactly romantically involved. Physically sure and they got along way more than just friends but none of them seemed that interested on slapping a name on their relationship. They were just Itsuka, Setsuna, and Izumi to each other.
"All that aside," Itsuka spoke, sitting up properly now, "how are we gonna make money?"
"Can't we just take anonymous sexy pictures of the three of us and sell them?" Setsuna offered cheekily and Itsuka hated that for a moment she imagined it but Izumi responded first.
"That's hot," she whistled but the orange haired woman squeezed the two of them to her and fervently shook her head.
"No way!" she rejected adamantly. "I absolutely don't want that!" Itsuka told them but she heard the familiar teasing hum from Setsuna that she'd become accustomed to since their school days.
"Fine, pictures of me and Izzy then," the splitter offered as Itsuka shook her head again.
"I hate that too! I don't want others seeing you like that," she called loudly and she felt Izumi shift at her left.
"Eh, you're so cute," the other greenette complimented. "I love you," she proclaimed in her casual and careless way while Setsuna gave Itsuka a peck on the cheek.
"Right? Absolutely cute even though she has a bad mouth," she poked one last time and Itsuka just pouted while the two cuddled her as much as they wanted.
"I'm definitely moving out one of these days!"
Itsuka hated that the 'Yeah right!' she was answered with sounded like the more convincing statement.
Notes and Stuff
I've been enjoying trio stuff lately.
As usual, a different Izumi and she didn't go to U.A. The three of them are all 26. I found Itsuka funny to write here since she has to be the common sense out of the three of them while the other two help in no way. You can look a Japanese 1R apartment layout if you need an idea of just how small their place is.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed and look forward to more updates from me!
