Erin groaned a little as the sound of David's ringtone woke her from a deep sleep. It had been two months since their little run in with the law, regarding their scandalous pursuits, and she was just now starting to get the itch to let him take her out and make risky choices. She knew that it was not the brightest decision on her part, since she had been so mortified at being caught, but there was still a small part of her that enjoyed the thrill of the potentiality of getting caught. "Who is calling this late at night?" she groused as they sat up, and David shrugged as he reached out and picked up his phone to answer.

"Hello? Hotch? You do realise that it's one in the morning, yes?" Erin felt her eyes widen as she wondered if there was an urgent case that the team had to head out to. She tugged David's sleeve, and he shrugged as he mimed that Aaron was still speaking. "What? I thought that you would have learned from us, and not taken such a large risk!" There was another pause before David spoke again. "Of course the guards still police at night! Bad things happen at any time of day, you know. Do I need to contact Jess and let her know what's going on? Okay. We'll be there as quickly as I can, though I would be prepared for Erin to say 'I told you so'. Yeah, I know. See you shortly."

David ended the call, and Erin pursed her lips to stop herself from blurting out the first thing that had come to mind. It took her a few minutes to be composed enough to question her fiancé, and still, she couldn't keep the trill of laughter from her voice. "So, our lovely friends have found themselves in a sticky situation?"

He nodded, giving her a sheepish look. "I told him that we were cooling that, since we were lucky to be let off with a fine. I have no idea what we're going to be walking into, but I would be prepared for anything to happen."

"Do I have to come? I was having such a nice sleep."

He nodded as he got out of bed, heading over to the closet and pulling out clothes for them both. She smiled to see that he had made certain to choose something comfortable for her, and sighed as she slipped out of bed, going over and grabbing the clothes from his hand. "We have to pick up his car, since they were taken to jail in the back of a cruiser."

"Oh. But how are we going to get his keys? I know that you had him pick up our extra set when he grabbed your checkbook, but…"

"I actually have a copy of his keys, in case anything happened to him again." She nodded as she dressed, feeling her stomach growl a little, even though it was not even close to breakfast. "Make sure you grab a banana or something on our way out, and we'll stop for breakfast on the way back. And then we'll go back to sleep and relax for the rest of the weekend."

"Now that sounds like heaven," she murmured as they left the bedroom and headed downstairs. She did grab a banana from the fruit bowl as they passed, slipping it into her purse alongside her phone as followed him into the garage.

Once they were underway, Erin took out the banana and quickly wolfed it down to quell the rumblings of her stomach. Then she leaned back in the seat and closed her eyes, letting the radio lull her back into a light sleep. When she woke once more, he was parking next to Aaron's car, and her eyes widened a little to see that they were close to the Lincoln Memorial. "I know, Erin. They definitely flew too close to the sun with this venue."

Erin laughed a little as she nodded, slipping out of David's car and following him over to Aaron's. "Do you want me to drive his?"

"I think that for the best, yes. I'll text you the address of the police station before heading there, so you can follow at your own pace. I know that you have less of a lead foot than I do."

She nodded with a tender smile as she watched him pull out another set of keys, handing them to her before leaning in and kissing her gently. "I'll see you shortly."

"Yes. Drive safely," she said, watching him get back in his Cadillac. She had just gotten into the driver's seat of Aaron's car when she heard her phone rumble in her purse. Pulling it out, she saw the text from David, and touched it, bringing it up on the screen. From there, all she had to do was tap on the address, and it opened up in her map app.

The drive was pleasant, as there weren't many cars on the road with her, which meant that she could drive just a touch under the speed limit and admire the drive. By the time she reached the precinct building, David was already inside, and she parked next to him. The building was so quiet, something she hadn't expected, and she frowned as she looked around for where to go, wishing that she had driven a touch faster so that she could have gone in with David.

"Can I help you, ma'am?"

Erin looked over at a very young officer, and gave him a small nod. "My fiancé arrived a few minutes ago, to bail out two of our colleagues? He didn't tell me where to go once I arrived."

"Oh! You're friends with the public sex pair! Are you all really FBI agents?"

Erin blushed as she nodded, the fleeting thought that that was probably how she and David were seen in the park ranger's mind, too. "We are, yes. And before you say it, yes, we should know better. However, sometimes people like to take unnecessary risks."

The young man nodded as he gestured for her to follow him. "You'd be surprised at how many people like to take those risks. In fact, we've been gossiping about this older couple who have been noticed around the city for the last six or seven months. We were all wondering when they'd get caught, but no one on the force has seen them in seven weeks."

"Fuck," she whispered beneath her breath, hoping that the officer hadn't heard her. Judging by his chuckle, she knew that she had not been as quiet as hoped, and pursed her lips together as she took a deep breath through her nostrils. "Well, I think that that couple is going to be thinking long and hard about the choices they make, and won't be so foolish in the future."

"That's probably for the best." The young man gave her a small wink, and she giggled lightly as they entered an inner room of the precinct. David was speaking with the captain, it appeared, and she waggled her fingers at him before continuing to follow the young officer to the holding cells. JJ and Aaron were held in the same cell, and she smiled at them as she approached.

"Don't even say it, Erin. We've both seen the error of our ways."

She let out a rich laugh as she shook her head. "Don't worry, it's the same for us. I just found out that our little assignations were not quite as private as we thought, so there will be no more cavorting through town for us, either. But what made you think it a good idea to screw around in the Lincoln Memorial?"

JJ blushed as she hung her head sheepishly. "That was my idea. I know that Aaron mentioned you two enjoying the Jefferson Memorial, so I thought that we could top that. And then we got caught."

Erin nodded in sympathy. "I can understand that, yes. But at least you'll be out on bail soon?"

"Actually, I pulled a few strings, too, and managed to get the judge give us a fine, too. There's a certain stigma that they don't want attached to FBI agents, after all." Aaron gave her a small shrug before he looked over her shoulder. Turning her head, she smiled at her fiancé and held out her arm to him. David stepped close, and she rested her head on his chest as they watched the captain unlock the cell door.

"You're free to go now, Agent Hotchner, Agent Jareau. Just remember, there are things that we do in public and then things we do in private."

"Yes, sir," Aaron replied as he took hold of JJ's hand and led her out. "And I will pay you back as soon as I can, Dave."

"No, don't worry about it. I have you covered. Now, we're going to grab breakfast and spend the rest of the weekend in bed. Do not do anything that would disturb us, okay?"

"Okay."

David guided Erin from the precinct and over to his waiting car. "I want pancakes," she said as he pulled out of his parking spot, and he nodded. "Also? We're never being exhibitionists again. We're known around the police force, David! That's a little too much for me to even think about trying these escapades once more."

"What?"

"Yes. The nice young officer I was talking to told me about how there was an older couple that hadn't been caught yet, like Aaron and Jen. It was fun while it lasted, though."

"That is true. All right, we'll keep our sex life in the bedroom from now on. Though I'm going to miss the thrill of the risk." She nodded, listening to her fiancé laugh as he drove them to their favourite twenty four hour diner, ensuring that at least one of her hungers would be satiated that morning.
