It was a gray cloudy afternoon in Jasper City as Humphrey and Kate was driving down the soaked street on their way home back from a birthday party,as they drove in silence with the radio playing a talk show,Kate stared at the environment watching as some buildings,parked cars and other things passed by, then up ahead standing on a street corner, was a white and grey furred female wolf,Even from afar Kate could tell that this girl was a little taller than her. "Hey what's she doing out there without an umbrella?"Kate asked in curiosity and concern for this woman Humprey saw her and even he was confused,was she waiting for someone,did someone dump her here,Humphrey pulled up next to her and they got a full view of her appearance,they saw that she looked in her early 20s,she had a large, spiked black choker around her neck,a tattered grey, off-the-shoulder crop-top is held up at the neckline by a series of crisscross spaghetti-straps that form an inverted pentagram,she also wears a set of black shorts that are tattered at the hems, with a white crescent moon detail on the right side. But what really caught their attention was her eyes, her eyes have red sclera, white irises and slit-like pupils,she also had a book in her hand, "uh hi,would you like a ride anywhere?"Kate asked curiously the woman stared at her with a blank expression before she walked towards the car Humphrey unlocked the door and she got in the back seat.
She sat the book next to her and looked between them with an unbothered expression,"uh..What's your name?"Kate asked very unnerved by her eyes "Loona."she said blankly "Nice to meet you Loona,i'm Kate,this is my husband Humphrey."Kate said as Humphrey waved Loona narrowed her eyes at them before glancing outside "Where am i?"Loona asked curiously "You're in Jasper City,Canada."Humphrey responded "So i'm sill on earth?"Loona asked causing Humphrey and Kate to give her bewildered stares "Uh yeah..."
Loona gave them an confused expression before looking at the book next to her before she spoke "Where are the humans?"Loona asked "What's a human?"Kate asked Loona gave an understanding nod "different universe."Loona said "where do you live Loona?"Kate asks "i live in hell."Loona said plainly "Come on..." "No seriously i live in hell,i'm a hellhound."Loona said with a firm expression.
Humphrey and Kate gave a bit unnerved and concerned expression "are you apart of a...Cerberus cult?"Kate "Cerberus?"Loona asked in curious "yeah three headed dog monster,rules Hell?" "I know who he is,who's your god here?"Loona asked "Fenrir."Humphrey said "is he supose to fight Cerberus at judgement day?"Loona asked "yeah."Humphrey said "so this place is not so different."Loona said "Loona if you really are from hell,how did you get here and why are you here?"Humphrey asked Loona patted the book "i got here using this,it's a Grimoire,it belongs to some one my dad knows it allows passage between hell and earth,apparently it works for other dimensions,as for why i'm here,i got into an argument with my dad,not going into detail for what,but i wanted to get away from him and cool off and i tried to go to earth,but i guess i didn't pay attention to the spell."
Humphrey and Kate looked at each other in concern and disbelief,they didn't believe that Loona was a hellhound but instead a deeply disturbed wolf with father issues, "look is there like a homeless shelter or something somewhere just drop me off there."Loona said with an uncaring expression. Humphrey looked at each other and decided to just do that however the homeless shelter they were famliar with was a little ways away,Humphrey started driving, it was quiet fora several seconds until Loona spoke "We'll probably never see each other again after this so what's the story on your romance?"Loona asked.
"Well long story short:we were puphood friends and during high school we fell in love and got married."Humphrey said smiling at Kate who smiled back, "that's nice,you have any kids?"Loona asked "yes we have 3,2 boys and 1 girl,Runt Stinky and Claudette."Humphrey Loona gave them a bewildered express "What the hell kind of names are Runt and Stinky?"Loona asked "Not the ones i wanted."Kate said glaring at Humphrey who turned away "So what about you do you have a special someone or pups?"Kate asked "No unfortunatly,it's not exactly for a lack of trying,who wants to make love to a girl who had Syphilis?"
Humphrey and Kate froze in suprise "I..i..i'm sorry you have what?"Humphrey asked appalled "I had Syphilis,but i got a cure for it months ago,i got drunk at a party and had a one night stand with an infected person."Loona said with a annoyed expression "oh gotta be careful who you sleep with, and use protection."Kate said as Loona nodded "so what do you do for a living?"Humphrey asked "i'm a reseptionist at I.M.P,that stands for Immediate Murder Professionals."
"Murder Professionals...you mean like...contract killers?"Humphrey asked now wetting himself out of horror and consern "yeah exactly like that,we offer the unique service of eliminating living targets still on Earth as a form of settling the unfinished business of Hell's residents."Loona explained staring out her window "We got to get her out of here."Kate mouthed to Humphrey now completely freaked out by Loona.
"I'm beginning to like you two more and more, you are the only other people i've held a conversation with."Loona said with a little smile "Glad to brighten your rainy day."Humphrey said nervously just then Loona let out a little groan as she squirmed a little "What's wrong?"Kate asked "i got to shit really bad,stop right here"Loona said as Humphrey pulled up next to a bridge overlooking a river "Wait are you going in a bush?"Kate asked horrified "No i'm shitting off this bridge."Loona said about to get out until Humphrey stopped her "whoa whoa no no no,look there's a Walmart right up there we'll use their bathroom."Humphrey said as Loona stayed in her seat "I shit off something like this before,i wasn't a big deal."Loona said with an uncaring expression Humphrey and Kate gave each other bewildered expressions.
The drove up to the walmart parking lot "Hold on Loona i'll show you where it is."Kate said as she got out of the car with loona and they walked towards the building leaving a flabbergasted Humphrey alone. Loona was in the bathroom while Kate stood at the door on the phone with her father Winston ,telling her about Loona, "yeah,apparently she thinks thinks she's a hellhound that is a receptronist at a hitman business but i think she's a deeply disturbed woman who needs serious help."Kate said looking back towards the door "Kate don't pick up hitchhikers anymore,i know you want to help but you never know,she could have really tried to hurt you or Humphrey,if she wanted to."Winston said in a firm tone "i know dad,i soon as we drop her off hopefully our paths never cross,she tried to shit off a bridge."Kate said with disgust. "What?"Winston asked with disgust "i'll tell you later got to go."Kate said as she quickly hung up the phone as Loona came out of the bathroom "ok i'm good Kate let's blow this shithole."Loona said as she and Kate exited the the store only to be approached couple of male wolves one had blonde fur and the other had brown fur both wore short sleeve shirts and pants "Whoa far out girl,cool goth attire."the brown furred wolf said with a smile "Goth?"Loona asked in confusion and offence "i like your contact lenses."The blonde wolf said "contact lenses?"Loona asked extremely offended just then a jet black furred female wolf stomped over to them with an angry expression on her face.
Then she got into Loona's face her green eyes "what are you doing talking to my boyfriend?" "Excuse me, you boy...wait which one of you is her boyfriend?"Loona asked looking at the boys "I am."the blonde wolf said getting embarrassed by the situation "your boyfriend came up to me and complemented my appearance."Loona said "ugh the idiot always forgets to wear his glasses,of course he would complement your awful appearance."
Loona narrowed her eyes and then she decked her across the jaw shocking everyone including Kate the girl fell to the ground holding her jaw and stared at loona with rage "ok lets go."Kate said as she couldn't believe she witnessed an assault at a Walmart of all places. The car drive was completely silence between all of them,it wasn't until 5 minutes later they arrived at an homeless shelter "here we are Loona,take care of yourself and I hope you fix things with your father,he seems to be all you have,don't push him away,also see a good therapist."Humphrey said as Loona just stared at him "Yeah...thanks..."Loona said with an uncaring tone as she got out and Humphrey and Kate immediately got out of there and didn't look back and left Loona alone with her thoughts.
Loona looked between the shelter and tthe book and then she recited a incantation and a portal opened up and then she stepped through and the portal closed behind her.
