Hello, it's been a while, right? Hehe. More than 6 months without updating this story... First of all, it's not that I wasn't doing anything. You see, there are about 4 chapters left until the first year is finished, and if you're wondering, those 4 chapters are already written. But before publishing them, I started reading this story from the beginning and, well... saying it's terrible would be an understatement. The main reason is that I strayed far from the original idea I had in mind, and I didn't know what to do with Raiden. Sometimes he had a good attitude, and other times I wanted to portray him as more of an antagonist. Plus, those cliché scenes of guys flirting with Yumiko, with Raiden stepping in and using violence just to show he can fight... Yeah, that was my mistake. There are times when violence is welcome, but I tried to force it.
Another issue is Yumiko's lack of development after becoming friends with Raiden. Out of nowhere, she fell in love with him. In my defense, that saved me from writing more scenes of them interacting as friends, but it leaves a bad taste. And another moment was when Kawasaki opens up to Raiden; I tried to make it similar to Yumiko's situation but completely forgot that each girl has a different personality and attitude; my bad. And just like that, I'm sure if you've read up to this point, you've probably noticed many more mistakes and overly convenient things. For this reason, I set out to rewrite the story from the beginning, changing how Raiden interacts with the characters and giving them more moments where they talk and behave like actual teenagers.
Now, as I mentioned, I haven't been idle during this time, since I've almost rewritten about 30 chapters. Some things still need polishing. So, I'm not sure if I'll create another fanfic or upload it to this same story.
P.S.: In case you're wondering, the last chapters were about Raiden and Nakamura, where Raiden is just a terrible son of a bitch who psychologically and morally destroys her after supporting her in many things, treating her horribly. I thought about uploading those last chapters, but I'm not sure if it's worth it.
