Hello everyone how's it going for you today?

Well today we're in July and things will get a bit more complicated.

Now today I have a new story and it's my third one for the Miraculous series.

Now this story will be a little bit different from my other stories.

This story was inspired by Miraculous: the power of love always so strong by GameGirl31996.

Now in this story I am going to have the characters be a little more older around the 16-18 year range.

So this story takes place around season 3 and a AU of season 4.

Also the story will be a bit more darker so heads up.

So without further delay let's go.

Chapter 1: a accidental discovery

Ladybug and her partner Cat Noir have defeated another Akuma and the dark butterfly was flying away.

"No more evil doing for you, little Akuma."

Ladybug activated her yo-yo and spun it around to power up its healing powers.

"Time to de-evilize!" she said and threw her yo-yo. "Gotcha!" and capture the butterfly.

"Bye-Bye little butterfly."

She release the now pure white butterfly in the air.

Then she threw her lucky charm in the air and shouted "Miraculous Ladybug!" and the item turned into a magical swarm of ladybugs which fixed everything to they were.

Then she and Cat Noir did their traditional fist bump.

"Pound it!"

"Well M'lady we did it again." Said Cat Noir.

"Indeed Cat Noir we did." Ladybug replied.

Just then her earrings and his ring beeped warning them they were going to change back soon.

"Well until next time kitty, bug out!" she said as she swung away.

'is it me or she gets more beautiful every time I see her?' he thought.

Just then he jerked his head as he remembered something.

"Oh Crap! I forgot to tell her!" he said as he took off after Ladybug.

He used his to baton to leap from rooftop to rooftop keeping an eye out for his lady.

He swore that today was the day, the day he was going to tell Ladybug how she really means to him. But every time he try to, a villain would get in the way, he gets captured and also Ladybug reminds him to keep their identity a secret and also she's in love with another boy.

It's been 2 years since they took up the mantle as protectors of Paris and they were 16.

But not this time Cat Noir was going to tell his lady.

He then saw up ahead was a flash of red.

"Ladybug!" he called out, but she didn't hear him as she was too far away.

He had to catch up with her, but his time was running out and his ring had 2 paw prints left and he had to make it quick.

She swung to a familiar rooftop and came to a stop, that got Cat's attention, he recognized the place it was Marinette's home, but what was Ladybug doing there? Maybe Marinette was in trouble.

He quickly hid behind a chimney and peek around the corner and then Ladybug looked around and made sure the coast was clear.

"Spots off." She said and she changed back into Marinette and opened the rooftop hatch and climb inside and closed it.

Cat Noir placed his hand on his chest to try calm his fast beating heart.

"Oh my god!" he said trying to make sense.

"the girl I love is also my best friend, I've been in love with my best friend and I didn't even know it." He said.

"God why was I so blind to the truth?!" he said a little loudly.

His ring beeped again meaning his time was running out.

Forgetting his declaration of love for now, he had to get back home fast, so he left quickly.

Unknown to him on top of the roof of the bell tower of Notre Dame was a cloaked figure and he saw everything.

"Ok little cat. Time to help you go in the right direction." He said.

He then spun like a vortex and vanished without a trace.

Now next Chapter will have Adrien and Plagg talking about what just happened and also they get a surprise visitor.

But that's all I'm saying for the moment.

Now to clear up some things.

Adrien and Marinette are 16 years old in the story and their friends are between the 16-18 years range.

Now as I said in the beginning this story series will be a bit more darker and I did say heads up.

Now then I will say this.

This will be vol 1 of the series and it will have about probably 14 chapters give or take.

Also it will be cross posted on Ao3 as well.

Now then the next chapter will be out soon as I get 2 more chapters for other stories take care of first.

Also I would like to announce that I am going to do a Miraculous/Jurassic World crossover soon.

Now then I believe that is it for now.
