Reno put gloves and mask on, got a sterile glass jar and a syringe from the storage, also one of the devices he used to make the portable shield. A single drop caused an explosion that made the table and all the containers crack. If it wasn't the shield he would die at that very same moment.

On this particular day, it wasn't a monster he found, but a shot-to-hell SOLDIER who wasn't quite dead. A story of building a new life, gaining new friends, and a past that isn't quite done.
