After the last challenge in which Yamcha was put in a situation where he had been nerfed to a scale that surprised the former bandit. Our scar-faced man went through puzzles that required him to push his limits of being crafty and patient, which even though ended in pain and cursing, but eventually, the man managed to win. And with it, a very silly hat was brought to him, at first he didn't think much of it even when Melvin explained what it could do. But when using it for the first time to test it out, Yamcha could feel something different...his mind expanded, information, ideas, observatory details about things around him.

Everything flowed to his brain so much easier and clearer to him, it was like using a pair of glasses that allowed you to see the world in a different light. Then he sat down and started thinking back about the things he had won by the challenges Melvin brought. A breathing technique that killed anything weak to sunlight, a new fighting style that was resourceful, a very strong and sharp sword that could change shape according to his mind and fed on energy, he knew all the data that was inserted in his mind and he had been training to try it, and even after all these years, Yamcha had a good swing yet with the sword.

But now? The former desert bandit wanted to waste no more time, he wanted to perfect as much as possible the things he had now before Melvin could come back, any second now. And there was only one place for him to try it out, at first he didn't have a reason to go because others could benefit more than him, but now? It wouldn't hurt trying right?

*Kami's Lookout*

Yamcha flared up his ki before flying at supersonic speeds towards the Lookout for earth's guardian. He never thought before how sort of mystical it was to have a huge circular construct above the clouds with such unique architecture. How did it even manage to stay on air anyway? The power pole put there from long ago was only used for Goku to get there since no one could fly yet. Arriving there Yamcha greeted Mr. Popo was watering the plants and Dende.

He asked the guardian if he could use the hyperbolic time chamber for a while to better improve his training because he had hit a block, since the young Namekian was a pretty nice new god there wasn't a reason to say no, but Yamcha was mostly waiting for Popo himself to say yes since he was the one with more experience around and maybe more influence but that's just him.

But besides following Kami's orders he also didn't see a reason to deny that request if all he wanted was training. Rather than be the one to say all the pieces of information according to that place, he let Dende do the honors to see how he was handling the teachings of being Kami. The young Namekian was sort of nervous but with a quick nudge from here and there, courtesy of the genie, he started to open up.

First of all, the chamber is a dimension separated from Earth. Inside there is a constant and bright iridescent white of a void, with no day or night. The room's boundaries are thought to stretch to infinity in all directions even though it appears to have a definite atmosphere, limiting its size to about that of the Earth. Even if you can hear the echo of your voice, there are no solid objects other than the entrance for the sound waves to bounce off of. One day outside equals a year inside due to the compressed flow of time, however! Even if the time chamber is a place to train and get stronger in such a short time, there are conditions.

The training area off the entrance boundaries seems to have increased gravity up to 10G, the air pressure is a quarter of the earth and will grow denser the deeper one goes into the chamber making it difficult to breathe. The temperatures fluctuate rapidly between -40 °C or 50 °C. Though he doesn't know if that applies to gravity too.

Any given person can use the Chamber two times, one with 48 hours if you're able to take two years worth of training in there or get out and come again later. But if you attempt to use it for more than what is allowed then you won't be able to exit it and will be trapped in nothingness. Food won't be a problem since there are enough provisions to feed two people for a whole year, after all, Goku went there once, even though the first time he was able to resist one month only.

"Thank you very much Dende, I will be careful"

Yamcha was wearing a short-sleeved blue undershirt that went great with his orange martial arts Gi and armbands. At the front, there was the Symbol of the Kame Sennin and on the back King Kai Symbol, the only items he brought inside the chamber was his sword on the back, a notepad, a pencil, and the funny-looking hat under his arm. No one pointed out why he had it though.

This was the first time he would enter that place, clearly, it would be a much better way to train but he never thought of using it before, but that was not the point anymore. He may never be at Son Goku level or any of the other Saiyans, but now the former bandit was curious to see how much of a limit his body really had when pushed to the limit.

*Hyperbolic time chamber*

Nestled within the chamber's confines stood a solitary edifice, flanked gracefully by two side wings which embraced stores of food supply. These wings not only provided sustenance but also offered respite with bathing and sleeping quarters. Beyond the chamber's threshold, a spectacle unfolded a sight of grandeur that captured his attention. Two colossal hourglasses, their sands akin to shimmering emerald, adorned the sides of the building. These sand-filled behemoths bore the purpose of measuring time's passage, purportedly marking the countdown of an entire year. Surveying the expanse of the dome-shaped roof, his gaze encountered yet another chronicle of time: an ornate clock that diligently displayed the passage of real-world hours.

And so, he stood before it—the potentially boundless expanse of the white void. The very air he inhaled weighed upon him, each breath an effortful endeavor. The atmosphere bore an almost tangible density, saturating even the core of his being, as if the very essence of reality had taken on a ponderous demeanor.

"Whoa, this white void seriously knows how to steal your breath, huh? The surroundings with only these buildings make it feel kind of surreal" Yamcha said, feeling in awe.

Upon acquiring the thinking cap, curiosity propelled him to assess the extent of its capabilities, he pondered the notion of delving into a profound investigation of diverse training methodologies. Conventional methods seemed inadequate so far as he had done for a long time but they were the foundation of it all. Inscribed upon the notepad before him, the first exploration unfurled: Yoga. A system that transcended the mere corporeal realm, Yoga intricately wove together postures, movements, mindfulness, and introspection. This fusion nourished both mind and body, its multifaceted techniques bestowing an abundance of holistic benefits.

*(Yoga)*

Improved breathing

Yoga's focus on breath is on a whole other level, though, with its emphasis on conscious breathing and connecting each movement to the breath. Adding yogic breathing to your routine can make you a more focused, more powerful, and safer martial artist.

Improved focus

Yoga is as much about training your mind as it is about training your body, every movement needs to be done with focus while breathing in unison, if you're looking to improve your mental clarity.

Strengthening core

Yoga has a distinct focus on developing stability from the ground up through balance and strength-promoting poses. Which will make your core even more solid, though.

Improve flexibility

Yoga is perhaps best known for its emphasis on balancing flexibility with stability. Improving the range of motion in your joints beyond the kind of flexibility training that warmups in martial arts supplies. The various stances and positions are designed to stretch the muscles, add fluidity back to the joints, and improve flexibility in general. Having this increase in flexibility will improve your torque while throwing punches, your joints lubricated, strong and durable.

The next topic had a slightly different look and wording to what he already knew, and that was Qigong. It talked about life force as well, but when somewhat similar to Yoga it had its differences. A wide range of physical movements is performed with relaxed muscles and ease of movement by focusing breath, including meditation and flowing dance-like motions resembling animals. They incorporate a purposeful regulation of breath and mind coordinated with heightened body awareness. This allows sustaining focused attention without overthinking, also focusing on flexibility. Strengthening the natural flow of your inner energies and life force.

The topic itself was big so he wrote a few exercises to try the new waters.

"Training isolated in the wild of this world gave me what it could, now it's time to use my head and be a little more...Crafty"

And with that done, Yamcha stepped off the boundaries of the Chambers building and into the white void where the training could begin. He had one year to perfect what was inserted into his brain all those challenges ago.
