WS: So, I'm an alien ninja with magic wizard powers, so what?

For anyone who may know, I have another Naruto/Invincible story but that was more of a test run than anything else. And if anyone who is reading this new story - you know who you are.

I'm going to be very honest, and I want everyone who's reading this to understand that the start of my first chapter was not to be taken seriously because there were multiple reasons. One I never knew Invincible was a thing until the show came out and while I have looked into the comics, I am far from even coming close to understanding everything and want to be honest in my attempt at making this story. Second, I did not intent to make Naruto anything other than following the actual REAL-LIFE legend and myth regarding a TENKO which is a celestial spirit fox in Japanese lore. If the legend says these creatures are all-knowing or omniscience and that they grow stronger and wiser with age based on the number of their tails, then it's pretty understandable through both comic book logic and fanfic logic that anything can be possible.

And last, as the official story to my brand-new Naruto/Invincible crossover this is the main focus, and the other story is invalid. Read it if you want but I will not continue it.

Summary: So, I'm an alien ninja with magic wizard powers, so what? It's not the most ridiculous thing you've heard, you got guys who can crack moons like eggs and destroy planets. I'm just a guy with a lot of power, like a lot of power with no actual plan other than just taking one baby step at a time.

Chapter 1

...

Pt. 1 No overly made introduction.

The day seemed average enough and the work hours were long and boring with the pay being crappy. Mark Grayson had the night shift and was in the middle of throwing out the garbage after cleaning up. One trash bag was tossed in the dumpster and the next was suddenly hurled so far into the night sky it may or may not have reached outer space.

"About time." Mark said to himself at first, a small sense of pride and relief welling up in chest. Even though Mark's father gave him the 'talk' mixed in with his origin story, the awkwardness in that discussion was met with the wonder and awe of one day having powers like his father and being able to fly.

"Nice throw."

Mark balked, teeth mashing to hold back his yelp and eyes widening from what he just heard behind him. He had been caught off guard, the young Grayson quickly turned around and saw someone his age stepping a little closer, munching on a half-eaten cheeseburger, and complimenting his throw.

He was the same age as Mark and just as tall as him. He had short, cropped bright blonde hair and bright blue eyes. He had light colored skin and strangely, he had three dark lines seen on each side of his cheeks. He wore a casual outfit, a zipper-less black hoodie with a single large pocket at the stomach, orange joggers and black and orange sneakers. The clothes he wore looked like they were a size bigger than him. He took another bite of his cheeseburger, finishing it and throwing the wrapper inside the brown paper bag he had with him.

"Ugh" Mark started, clearing his throat, leaning against the dumpster and trying to play it cool - as though he didn't just launch a trash bag into space. Mark had no excuse he could come up with. Someone knows he has superpowers and knows what he looks like. 'Damn it I got nothing!' Mark thought, desperately trying to come up with something.

The blonde seeing his fellow teen growing uncomfortable, he glanced to the side and saw a broken chunk of the bumper blocks. Mark saw the blonde grab onto the piece and place it inside the bag, crumbling it which wrapped it around the broken fragment. The alien hybrid then saw the blonde pull back his arm and throw said bag right into the air. It flew just as far as the garbage bag Mark threw unintentionally into space.

Mark looked back at the blonde with a bewildered look.

"Ugh. Okay so that just happened." Mark said.

"First time with powers?" The blonde asked.

"Y-yeah." Mark responded slowly. "First time with powers."

"Cool." He said simply. "Name's Naruto."

Naruto introduced himself with a two fingered wave.

Nar-u-to. Mark broke down the blonde's name, sounded Asian from what Mark could guess. He was technically half Korean on his mother's side so he wasn't sure where that would even translate to.

"Mark." Mark introduced, barely bringing up his hand in a short wave.

"Well, Mark. I don't want to keep you busy. So..." Naruto turned around and was already taking his first step to leave before looking back over his shoulder, "and a bit of some advice if you want it, the world's a little bit fragile if you aren't careful enough. So, good luck with that."

Mark said nothing, he took the blonde's advice into consideration, and it did get him thinking. The next thing that happened though was seeing the blonde walk away and suddenly he vanished, leaving a dust cloud behind.

Had that been superspeed or teleportation? 'That is so cool' Mark thought.

"Grayson, what're you doing out there, it's been fifteen minutes!"

Realizing he'd been outside longer than he should have, Mark hurried back to his job.

...

Pt. 2 No overly made introduction.

One moment he was laughing and grinning like a madman and then suddenly, Mark found himself nearly getting hit by an airplane which sent him out of control. Mark's ability to fly suddenly went against his control and he began to fly higher and higher into the night sky until finally he reached the edge of the planet's atmosphere and right into space.

Mark panicked. Breathing so heavily in space was already taking its toll and brought him closer to fainting. Trying to stay awake, trying to calm down but he kept exerting his abilities - abilities that were still beyond him to fully understand without proper help. He lost consciousness and fell towards the blue planet below.

Who knew how long he'd been unconscious, a minute or maybe less, either way Mark was already waking up once he heard something out of the black.

"Seriously? I didn't think I'd see you again so soon."

Mark thought he'd have to end up crashing right into his backyard but instead, Mark woke up and found himself dangling hundreds of feet in the air. The city below was glowing like some golden spiderweb along the planet's black surface. The future superhero looked, staring upside down and saw the same exact blonde holding him by the ankle and looking incredibly amused. And that's when Mark realized something right there.

"Wait? You can fly too!" Mark gasped.

Superstrength, possible superspeed or teleportation, and now flight?

"Yup. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say you couldn't wait to try and test out your new powers?" Naruto asked to which Mark chuckled at his own recklessness.

"That's pretty much the situation." Mark admitted but frowned somewhat. "Could you let me go?"

"You're not gonna fall, are you?" Naruto joshed with a shit eating grin on his face.

"Haha very funny." Mark said dryly and was instantly let go.

Naruto complied, letting go of Mark's leg. Holding back a scream, Mark tried to think float in his mind. He hoped, prayed that it would work. And his prayer was answered. His body seemed to respond, and he began to float, upside down and left with a sigh of relief.

Naruto stared at Mark, arms crossed and still looked amused from hours earlier when he saw him throw that garbage bag into space. Silently, Naruto began to spin slowly and hang upside down for the two of them to see each other face-to-face. He was still as a statue.

"So, what's your excuse for being out so late?" Mark asked. If things were just going to like this, he might as well just ask.

"I do a little bit of patrol; it gets dangerous after dark." Naruto explained.

"You're a hero then?" Mark questioned. He knew about Teen Team and that there were sidekicks out there in the world - sidekicks like Nightboy just to name an example. But Mark didn't recall anyone like Naruto before. Then again, he wasn't wearing a superhero costume, nor did he have a hero name as far as Mark knew.

"Nah. I'm more of a freelancer. I make use of my powers by selling them to whoever wants a bodyguard or something like that for the next hour or day." Naruto revealed.

"Wait, people can do that?" Mark asked aloud.

"I think." Naruto answered nonchalantly with a shrug. "Just because you have superpowers doesn't mean you have to be a superhero." He drifted away from Mark. "Anyway, you should probably try and figure out how to land. It's the landing part that's difficult."

"I'll keep that in mind." Mark said.

Naruto flew silently through the air, already covering a mile in an instant before descending down towards the town.

Still floating in mid-air Mark wondered to himself if this was going to be a recurring thing. "Weird guy but cool." Mark said before getting a very focused look and stared down below. He gulped a bit now that the half human alien hybrid realized he had no way of actually going down. "Damn it I should have asked if he could take me down!" Mark shouted.

Left with little choice, Mark coached himself and commented that he could land. "Okay Mark, you were able to fly, you can float yourself down." Slowly, inch by inch Mark felt himself lowering towards the ground but was still hundreds of feet in the air. Mark slowly laughed, laughing that he was actually going down.

But he celebrated to early, out of his control Mark descended to fast and was left screaming until he crashed onto the road right next to his house.

"Ow."

...

Pt. 3 No overly made introduction.

A couple days passed and pretty soon Mark found what kind of superhero name he wanted.

He was...

"Invincible? Doesn't that seem a little optimistic?" Naruto asked and took another bite of his cheeseburger.

The two superpowered teenagers were sitting on the edge of a tower crane where it loomed at the highest point in a nameless city Mark had just saved from some guy with a laser cannon for an arm.

"Don't you get tired of eating cheeseburgers?" Mark countered, not aggressively but just to deflect the question mostly because now it seemed ridiculous saying the name out loud.

With the last chew that finished his cheeseburger, Naruto crumpled the yellow wrapping paper and the paper bag too, turning it into a big paper ball. Mark assumed Naruto would throw it into space, instead though he was surprised once again. Naruto didn't throw the jumbled-up paper ball, he extended his arm and brought out his hand where the paper ball rested on his palm. And without so much as a word, the paper ball suddenly lit on fire.

Mark's eyes widen beneath his goggles. It wasn't for the fact that the paper bag was incinerated instantaneously. It was the fact now Naruto could also create fire out of nowhere.

"I said it before and I'll say it again, cool." Mark commented, not even wanting to ask if whether Naruto had more powers because he was already marking down the ones, he knew like superstrength and flight.

"I eat different stuff. You just happen to catch me on my day I am eating a burger." Naruto defended. Getting up Naruto was already levitating off the crane and gave a toothy grin. "And I also want to know something, I wanna see who flies faster." Naruto challenged, giving a punch to his open palm.

"Oh, you are on!" Mark grinned, levitating off the crane.

"First one to the other side of the world wins a hundred bucks" Naruto shouted, easily shooting through the sky with a sonic boom bellowing beneath him.

Mark found himself laughing and flew after the blonde.

...

To be continued...

"Holy shit!?" Invincible swore to himself.

He'd never seen a bloodbath so gruesome and terrifying that he even questioned if this was even the same person, he'd been talking to for these past couple of months.

Naruto seemed so cheerful and laid back, but once these alien invaders suddenly showed up through a portal, Naruto came in with a fury so terrifying, he was cutting swathe after swathe of those things in an absolutely horrifying manner. Invincible saw the blonde pointed his hand and the next, some unfortunate aliens were bisected in a consecutive row, all vertically slashed through and each two pieces falling apart on opposite directions in one flat splat.

The story contains OC and AU. Anything and everything will not be what you know and please don't make a fuss about it. Please review and tell me what you think. NO FLAMES!

Also, I made the title what it sounds like, and I know I didn't give Naruto any real introduction, but I just wanted to cut into Mark's story before reaching the second episode because Naruto and Mark aren't friends until part 3 from what you read and now, we are at the battle from the second episode. This time I will be getting into greater detail. I will admit though there will be some time before I update but this will be my official Naruto/Invincible story.
