At the Nasty Burger, a pitch-black spot appeared in the staff parking, a car came out of it. Ghost Spider and White Fox were a bit dizzy.

"Dude, why were we spinning in your portal passage?" Ghost Spider glared from the back seat at Spot.

"Uh…because I panicked, we were being chased by robots!"

Ten Minutes Ago

"So you didn't create a cloaking option for this scrap vehicle?" Spot complained as they walked to the car.

"It's just a normal car", White Fox answered. Ghost Spider walked to take the front passenger's seat, but White Fox stopped her. "Take the back seat".

"Why?"

"So we surround Spot in case he tries something", White Fox whispered, then smiled. "You would do that for me? Right Ghosty?".

"Yes, Foxy—Hey!" Ghost Spider realized she was in a trance but snapped out of it and glared. The Kumiho giggled in amusement.

As all three were in the car, Ghost Spider tapped her point fingers on the middle snack holder like drumsticks. She was humming her band's biggest hit song.

"Can we turn on the radio?"

"No", White Fox snarled. Ghost Spider wanted to ask as well but realized they weren't on a family movie road trip scene.

"Can I at least listen to music on my cellphone?" Ghost Spider pleaded.

"I'll have to say a much louder 'no' to that question".

"You guys have cellphones on you? Gimme, I know someone who would be useful right now".

"Who is 'useful' exactly?" Ghost Spider narrowed her lenses in suspicion.

"I know where he is hiding, in Nasty Burger".

"Interesting name for a fast food restaurant place", White Fox furrowed her hidden eyebrows.

Ghost Spider's senses were ringing. "We have danger coming from—", Everyone yelped from an energy plasma blast that almost hit the vehicle. "Whoever tried to shoot us just now", Ghost Spider finished.

"FLOOR IT FOX!" Spot screamed.

White Fox pressed her foot harder on the peddle. It was becoming a high-speed chase. Ghost Spider looked through the back window. "This may sound unbelievable, or not since all three of us deal with bizarre stuff daily, I'm not sure about Fox but—"

"What is it Spider?" Spot yelled.

"We're being chased by Bots…with arm cannons".

"This town is such a s*!" Spot cried. Ghost Spider glared at him for that comment. "Can't I just open a portal to a place far away from this nightmare?"

"NO!" Both women snapped in unison. "Ghost Spider, be my eyes for the back. Spot I have a plan".

"Finale…are you sure about this?" A lizard man asked. "I mean, why send the NYPD prototype mechs to just give the two girls warning shots?"

"Why do this? I want that hooded brat to realize how much power I have!"

"Yes but…it's not you who is ruling this city, it's—ack!" The lizard man was choked by the blue woman and lifted him by the throat.

"What. Gave. You. Permission…to say that!" Finale hissed. The lizard was pointing to the screen behind her but she was still angry at his statement. "What will you do to get out of this?"

-Alert! The target is no longer visible. Out of sight.- The computer AI announced. Finale released the lizard she was choking.

"Oh crap, and I didn't see how they escaped…bossman is not going to be happy".

Present

After Spot opened a portal in the car wash, the vehicle was spinning around until they arrived at Nasty Burger.

After that, all three individuals walked into the restaurant. Ghost Spider looked around the place, and then she gasped. "GUYS!"

"What is it?" White Fox asked alarmed. Ghost Spider pointed at a cutout stand of The Bodega Bandit. She was in disbelief.

"Can you believe they hired this clown to be their mascot?!"

White Fox deadpanned, "…Seriously?"

"Of course they did. That guy quit his pathetic robber life and started working for this brand. I think he already presented himself in multiple ads", Spot informed.

"What?!" Ghost Spider gasped. "He gets famous for being himself?! I'm only famous because people hate me!"

"Yeah? And how did making your identity public help you in that case?", White Fox retorted. Ghost Spider glared.

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"You like this negative bad guy disaster, don't you? You're just a bigger attention seeker than the male main spider", White Fox turned to the other woman with judgment.

"What…I revealed myself for a good reason!"

White Fox folded her arms, "And what reason would that be exactly?"

"I don't need to tell you…I should've known you are another judgy strict—".

"Hey so, as much as I like chic fights, I'm going to have to interrupt by reminding you why we're here", Spot cut in. "They're most likely in the basement".

"What? They? I thought you said you needed to see a person, singular", Ghost Spider narrowed one lens.

"Well yes but maybe you should meet the boss of the resistance".

As they walked down the basement, Ghost Spider looked around and felt uneasy. She noticed White Fox…sniffing.

As they walked to the door, Spot knocked. The peep latch slid open revealing two eyes. "Spot…didn't think you'd come back".

"Yeah, I had a change of heart. Let me and my…new allies in".

As the three were allowed in, people stared at Ghost Spider in disbelief. "You've got to be kidding…", Felicia Hardy muttered.

"Well, well, well", Mortis clapped slowly. Ghost Spider tried to look unshaken. Spot coughed a bit.

"Now, you may have questions on why I'm bringing someone who ruined our lives (ignoring Ghost Spider's glare) but I did it for a good reason", Spot explained.

"And that is…?" Mysterio asked. Spot turned to White Fox for an explanation. "We need to end Finale's reign once and for all. If we all work together, we may stand a chance", she said as some of Gwen's enemies scoffed.

"That's cute girly", Rhino laughed harshly, "Rhino hope White-Hair has actual plan to usurp blue lady".

Ghost Spider narrowed her lenses at the big grey-skinned man. White Fox made a stoic face. "I do but I need to know more about how Finale took over New York".

"I know", a figure spoke. Everyone turned to see Orlando Octavius who began explaining.

"Last week, a scientist named Dr. Liam Lance wanted to tap into the laws of Ghost Spider's multiversal traveling. He had a device built in his laboratory, then something went wrong. The source energy which was considered extraterrestrial, was overloading".

"What kind of alien energy?" White Fox asked.

"I don't know its scientific name but I do know that it looks like some pink orb", Orlando answered. The two girls looked at each other in realization.

"Oh crap…", Ghost Spider muttered under her breath.

"How did it lead to Finale's domination?" White Fox furrowed her lenses. Orlando continued explaining.

"When he tested his invention, he may have brought in a group of aliens. That's all I know and that was the last I've heard about the scientist".

"Well, we're gonna have to send them back to where they came from", Ghost Spider suggested.

"Easier said than done. That tower where Finale lives is a fortress!" Pixie stated.

"Good, then we'll do a diversion and Ghost Spider can help unlock the doors".

"Ami…are you sure I should trust them?" Gwen asked as they were eating at the table.

"Well, you have nothing to hide about who you are".

"A) I was talking about the possibility that they might double-cross us. B) why are you so upset about this?"

Ami sighed, "Tell me why you revealed your identity".

"A former kingpin tried controlling me by threatening to reveal my identity, I couldn't for personal reasons, but then I realized I need to end his reign of this city. I gave away my identity because he used that knowledge to hurt the people I care about". Gwen explained, "Wait…why did I blab that out so naturally?"

"I see, what about the guilt of the boy?"

Gwen stared at Ami in confusion. Ami inhaled deeply, "I have your memory of some boy who was badly injured. I felt your massive guilt".

Gwen stood up, "That's—wait, how do you have my memories? Are you telepathic?"

"No, I… 'borrowed' it from that kiss".

The blonde recalled that. "So that's why, you know that counts as a violation of privacy?" Gwen snarled before walking back to the basement. Ami grabbed her by the hand.

"Why can't you trust me? Is it because I'm not a native of this world?" Ami asked. Gwen tugged her hand out of her grip and walked away. Ami had a feeling of curiosity.

"She lost her best friend who turned into a giant lizard, the cops hunted her down because they thought she was responsible", a man wearing a paper bag over his head spoke from the cash register. Ami stared at the direction Gwen had already returned to and was in disbelief.
