Magicat Hot Spring Time

She hated this. This was the worst. "Who goes into water to relax?!" Catra complained while watching Adora walk towards the giant body of warm water without a care in the world. Catra on the other hand had every hair on her body spiking, her tail moving nervously, her claws digging into the soft towel hiding her body from her girlfriend's blue eyes.

"Everyone I know. Except you. You're gonna have to beat your fear sometime Catra." Adora looked back and stepped into the hot springs, her towel unraveling but not falling away just yet.

Catra would think Adora was trying to tempt her but Adora is far too cute to be a temptress. Pretty enough though, if only she would commit.

"I'm not scared of a bath. It's also not my fault that it feels weird on my fur." Catra shuddered when she remembered the cold, quick showers she always had growing up. She was the only one who hated water so much but she was given no soft treatment. The baths she did take after the war ended were warm but they were still fast, she didn't want to waste time.

What was so good about long baths anyway?

Adora set the towel at the edge of the hot spring and offered her hand to Catra. "I promise I'll make you feel nice. Take it step by step." Adora couldn't lie and even if she could she couldn't bring herself to trick Catra in such a cruel way.

She let out a long, heavy sigh and set her own towel down next to Adora's. She didn't step into the water until her hand was in Adora's, she needed that reassurance. Weather she could admit it to herself and others or not, Adora was the one person who always kept her sane and safe when she was afraid her self-hatred would destroy her. Adora was one of the most important people in Catra's life.

Instead of being all smug and confidant like usual she surged forward and grabbed Adora like a lifeline. She felt the warm water all the way to her bellybutton, the only solid things were the ground under her feet and Adora herself. "Catra, it's okay, look at me. I'm still right here." Adora pressed her hand against the back of Catra's hair, the other against the small of her back, feeling the bristled up fur.

"Ugh, I'm not feeling any more relaxed yet." Catra nuzzled her face into Adora's shoulder. She almost wanted to leave. "Why can't I wait beside the water or something? This is about spending time together so…"

"Yes, but the water here heals as well as relaxes. We don't have to swim around, we can just sit besides each other. I'll be here for you the whole time." Adora sat down first, the water up to her shoulders, her hands still holding Catra's.

Catra's tail flickered at the surface of the water nervously. "I… can I sit between your legs? Will you hold me?" The last thing she needed was to ruin this vacation when Adora looked forward to it so much. She moved slowly, her feet sliding along the floor rather than lifting up to walk. Her back turned against Adora's front she made enough room for herself to comfortable settle between Adora's legs. Adora didn't leave her without touch for a second, her strong arms immediately wrapped around the magicat, feeling the soft fur on her belly and right below her rib-cage. "That's a bit better."

"I'm glad. Be careful not to fall asleep though, Glimmer did a few times and Bow freaked out."

"And get mouth to mouth? Don't give me ideas Adora." Catra smirked at the blonde, her toothy grin saying she was very much considering it.

"Catra, you don't need to pass out for me to kiss you." She leaned in, fully expecting a kiss, her lips parting in anticipation.

"Right. Cause I can kiss you whenever I want." She did just that, completely closing the small distance between them. Adora didn't bring her with the intention of kissing at all but if it would help Catra relax then she didn't mind. She let Catra press as far into the kiss as she wanted, the nimble magicat able to turn her body at angles uncomfortable to Adora. "This is better."

Adora gulped, she knew that the strong blush on her face was from more than the hot-spring. "Do you want another one?" She asked yet she didn't have to, Catra was already leaning in, her sharp teeth nibbling on Adora's bottom lip, her tongue licking Adora's mouth open to deepen the kiss. "Catra… kissing is fine but… we're gonna get lightheaded really fast if we keep this up."

Because Catra didn't have a comeback to that little observation Adora grew suspicious. She suspected that was the plan. And yet Catra was such a good kisser, so full of passion, making Adora whimper her name at every given chance, purring into each kiss, Adora didn't care if she felt a little lightheaded from it. In any case she had completed her original goal of helping Catra relax in water.
