{A.N: Sorry for not updating in a while. Writer's block and burn out kicked my but. But I'll try to finish this up}
The room was quiet. Too quiet for Bella's liking until she felt her husband's hand grasping hers. As she looked at Tom she noted Alice's cold, yet angry, expression. Bella looked at her in a questioning gaze.
"Hey Alice?" Bella asks, getting a strange feeling about this. "You didn't see this happening before… right?"
Everyone, save Edork, looked towards the pixie hair girl. Alice looked at Bella sadly before responding, "It was while you were hospitalized from James' attack. I was horrified by the vision that I went to confront Edward. But HE told me that it was a heat in the moment thought. That he wouldn't really go through with that plan."
Everyone tensed as the implication came to light.
"Oh wow! You're a real piece of work," Emmet said with a dark chuckle. "But you already knew that right Eddy?"
Edork didn't answer, shifting in his seat as everyone's eyes and thoughts were on him, wondering if he was still in a nightmare. Carlisle sighed as causing everyone to look at him.
"Bella, we want to apologize to you for abounding you, about what he told you," Carlisle explained as he stood up and walked over to a shelf, grabbing an old box from the tallest shelf, as he walked back to the table he handed the box over to Bella, "and from me almost killing you back in Italy."
When Bella opened the box there laid her missing silver plated dagger with a ruby embedded into the hilt. The one she threw at Carlisle while Venice was collapsing.
"Sorry about that," Bella said as she took the dagger out of the box. Her team went from confusion to realization.
"It's alright," Carlisle said, "I was sent to get Ms Murray, and you must've felt enraged seeing me during your time travel escapades."
The Cullens looked at him with widened eyes, from excitement while Edork looked horrified.
"Bella, you got stuck in the past?" Edork said with disdain as he stood up. He put a hand over his heart as he continued "No wonder you chose these freaks, they-"
Edork yelped as the dagger flew past him, nicking his shoulder in the process, before being embedded into the wall behind him. He collapsed into his seat as Bella's brown eyes were a blood red as she stared down at him like he was a worm.
"Don't you dare call my family freaks," Bella said, as the room got darker and colder around them, "they were there for me in my darkest time. Unlike you who just causes it."
'Plus we have been looking for her ever since we were separated from her.'
Edork looked over at the Professor as he noticed his eyes were glowing. Bella looked over at him.
"And I would never do anything like what you did to her," Tom said standing up next to his wife. He took her hand into his calming her down. She smiled at him as they both sat down then she felt Mina's hand on her shoulder.
"I'm sorry about your wall Esme," Bella responded, "I'll pay for the damages."
"It's fine Bella," Esme said, "you shouldn't be the one apologizing here."
Edork gulped as Esme glared at him. He looked back at Bella as he spoke.
"I'm sorry Bella," Edork replied, "for what I said and my actions."
"Thank you for your apology," Bella said, "but I can't fully forgive you yet."
Edork nodded at that before asking, "So about your divorce and our marriage, when will you…"
Thud!
Everyone just stared at the unconscious idiot before looking at an annoyed Arronax. His eyes stopped glowing as he said, "He'll be out for a week and a half. So wherever he's going you might want to leave a note with him."
The Cullens nodded at him before dragging their disgrace back to his soon to be former room. Bella sighed as she watched this happening. The others watched this all happen awkwardly until the room was suffocating in it. It finally stopped when Esme was the first to come back to the room.
"We have called Marcus, Jane will be here to pick Edward soon. Please enjoy yourselves and eat as much as you like."
"What?" Charlie asked before his gaze landed upon all the food. "Will do, thank you Esme."
