Okay I read a story somewhere and gave me an idea and now it is nagging at me. So I figure why the hell not. Yeah, your all going to be pissed off. This will be another Female Luffy story. I don't care what anyone thinks. For you have seen my Naruto stories and my second One Piece story. So yeah. LOL.

Girl is going to write what she wants.

Ebony Sky's and Crimson Tides

Chapter 1

I couldn't help myself. The second my good old buddy Mihawk showed up with a bounty poster. I couldn't take my eyes off it. A small goofy smile played across my lips. 'This couldn't be the same child I left back in the East Blue? It truly couldn't be?' I thought to myself seeing my old straw hat resting on their head.

"So are you going to be spending all day looking at that wanted poster or you going to be telling me about this child that seem so much like the fool sitting before me?" Question a man with golden eyes.

I look up with the same goofy smile on my face. "I met Monkey D. Luffy about 10 years ago. On a small Island in the East Blue. It was after I became a Yonko in the New World. The boys and I needed a little vacation. So we figure we go to the weakest of all the Blues and party for a while before I had to return to take care of my duties as a newly minted Yonko." Said Shanks with an even larger grin on his face.

"I see. She is also the reason you came back with only one arm?" Question Mihawk as his eyes slowly narrowed in on the red-hair man sitting across from him.

Shanks let out a sigh. "Yeah. It was. But I don't regret it whatsoever. For now look at her. She has a pretty decent bounty on her head. Even for the East Blue. Wasn't Arlong's only 20 million berries?" He question as he looked over at the man that sat to his right reading a book.

Benn looked up from his book as his eyes studied Shanks and looked over at Mihawk. "Yeah Arlong was the highest bounty at the time. But appears our little Lu-chan has surpassed him." He said with a smirk as he looked back at his Captain. He saw something flash in the man's eyes. Something that spoke trouble for himself and the others in the near future.

"Well I well give the child credit. She doesn't stand down and will fight for what she believes in. She almost faced me. But her swordsmen stopped her as he told her it was his fight against me. Not hers." Said Mihawk.

Now Shanks was looked at Mihawk his eyes widen slightly. He was shocked his little anchor was going to fight his best friend. "You almost fought a girl that has never picked up a sword?" He question with a slight edge in his voice.

Mihawk caught this a slight ghost of a smirk played onto his lips. "Well no. I would have had the girl find herself a sword. It isn't like am a brut like someone I know." He told the red-hair pirate sitting across from him.

Shanks pout at the man across from him. "I am not a brut."

"Sure. So, why are you grinning like a fool looking at her photo? When was the last time you saw the girl anyways?" Question Mihawk.

"Like the moron said. We saw her 10 years ago. He gave her his hat as she promised to become the next King of the Pirates." Said Benn as he put his book down. He knew his peace was over and sent a look to the others.

Mihawk slowly nodded his head and let out a sigh. "Well I must be taking my leave. I have other things to be doing at this moment in time." He said standing up.

"Aww you don't want to join us on a little trip to the East Blue?" Question Shanks as he looked at his best friend and rival.

Mihawk let out a sigh. "No. I wouldn't. For I have just arrived from there and the Marines will have a fit if I return back to that peaceful sea. As well. I believe the girl will have a fit for she will believe I have return to claim the life of her swordsmen." He said closing his eyes and looking at the fool.

"But the young man has sparked a fire in me. The same spark I once had when we used to fight. I believe he will replace you in the near future as my new rival." Said Mihawk with a slight smirk now on his lips.

"WHAT THE HELL! I'M STILL ABLE TO KICK YOUR ASS IN A FIGHT!" Whined/yelled Shanks as he was pouting and now on his feet glaring at the man across from him.

"You lost that once you became crippled. You can only give me a decent fight. But it isn't the same anymore." Said Mihawk as he turned his back and began walking though the Jungle that his rival at the moment camped out in. Hawkeye wouldn't say it. But no one would ever replace his friend and rival. But it was enjoyable to tease the fool from time to time.

"JUST YOU WAIT HAWKEYE! THE NEXT TIME I SEE YOU. I'LL BE KICKING YOUR ASS!" Yelled Shanks as he was fuming.

"Yeah, yeah and the Marines are going to be wearing dresses." Said Benn as he laughed slightly.

Shanks turned and looked at his friend and second in command. "Set sail. I feel like visiting Loguetown." He told Benn with a grin on his face once more.

Somewhere in the East Blue

"So when do you believe we will be arriving at Loguetown?" Question Luffy as she walked up to Nami as the girl was looking at a map that Luffy had taken from Arlong Park with other supplies the Fishmen wouldn't be needing.

People would say that Nami was the thief of the crew. But Luffy gave the redhead a run for her money when it came to stealing from pirates and scum.

Nami looked up at the map she had drawn for Arlong. "Well if my mapping is correct which it always is. We will be there in two days." She told her Captain.

Luffy nodded her head and looked over at her crew moving around the ship. She spotted Sanji coming out of the lounging room. "Hey Sanji." Called Luffy to her ships cook.

Said man looked up to where his Captain stood on the top deck where Nami's tangerine trees gave off a nice shade for an afternoon nap. "Yes, Luffy-chan?" He called up to her with little hearts in his eyes.

"I want you to double check all our food supplies and get whatever we might need. For we do not know what to expect once we crossover to the Grand Line." Said Luffy as everyone looked up at the girl that was normally so carefree and enjoying life.

"Roger that Captain." Said Sanji as he spun on his heel and return back to which he had come.

"Usopp, Zoro I need you two to check all other supplies we need for the ship." Ordered Luffy as she looked at the two men sitting down below her.

"Yeah sure." Said Zoro standing up as Usopp nods his head and gets up and follows after the green hair swordsmen down below.

Luffy looks over at Nami. "Once we get to Loguetown I need you to get all you will need to navigate the Grand Line. I believe you will need to get a log post. For a compass will not work otherwise." She told the red-head.

Nami blinked looking at the girl before her. This wasn't the Luffy that just enjoyed having fun and goofing around. This was a different woman standing before her. "Umm…Luffy. How do you know this?" She question.

Luffy smiled softly. "A dear friend a long time ago. He and his crew told me stories about the Grand Line and how it was different than our sea and we needed a Log Post to find our way around. As well I did spend a lot of time reading up and studying about the Grand Line when my Grandpa would show up for visits and training." She said with a smile.

Nami just dumbly nodded her head. She didn't know what to think and didn't really think about asking about this grandfather.

Two days later

The Going Merry docked in Loguetown and a across from her was a ship with a flag Luffy had seen only 10 years earlier. A small smirk play across her lips as she stood on the railing of her ship facing the ship across from her. Facing a man with shaggy crimson locks with a black cape and a white button down shirt with several buttons undone showing off some of his chest.

"Good Morning Future Pirate King." Said the Crimson hair man as the Straw Hats heard a male voice talking to Luffy as they all came out to see what was going on.

"Good Morning Red-Hair. It's been awhile don't you think?" Question Luffy with an impish smile on her lips a smile everyone knew only met trouble for the one she gave it too.

Shanks bowed to her. "Aww Madam I wish you would call me by my name as you have once before." He told her as he stood back up with a matching smile and a twinkle in his eye that Luffy knew all too well.

Luffy bowed to him as well. "Why Good Sir Shanks. I wouldn't dream of being so rude after all these years of not seeing you." She told him as she stood back up as her vest had came unbutton from the movement and everyone could see the black sports bra, she has worn under it.

Shanks's slightly blushed seeing this. His eyes now looking her body over as for the first time seeing her. Seeing her as the woman she truly was.

Luffy jumped over to him. Into his chest giving him a hug. "It's good to see you Shanks. But I didn't think I would be seeing you and the guys so soon. I just became a pirate not that long ago." She told him as he wrapped his single arm around her.

Nami looked at Zoro and the others not sure what the hell was going on. She was stun that her Captain knew Shanks of the Red-hair Pirates.

Luffy stepped back to see all the guys standing there looking at her as well. "Hey Lu-chan." Said Benn.

"Yeah Benn?" Asked Luffy smiling at him.

"Your vest is open." Benn told the girl that looked down and laughed shrugging her shoulders.

"It's a sports bra and I train in it as well when I spar with Zoro." Said Luffy waving off the larger man as Shanks looked over at her crew his eyes looking at the three males of the crew.

Yasopp and Lucky Roux and Rockstar walked up to the girl. "It's good to see you kiddo." Said Yasopp. As he hugged her.

Luffy looked up at him with a large smile. "I got a surprise for you Yasopp." She told him grinning up at him.

Said man arched a brow at the girl. "What is it?" He asked her not sure what she could even get him.

Luffy turned around and looked at her crew. Her eyes landing on Usopp who was staring at the man that stood before the girl. "Hey Usopp. Get over here and say hi to your dad." She called over.

Both crews froze at this. They looked at Luffy and then at the boy with a large nose who slowly jumped over the rails to join the girl. He slowly walked up to that man that stood before her. Yasopp froze looking at the young man walking up to him. His eyes studying his face. He could see sadness and happiness in the boys eyes and expressions.

Yasopp stepped around Luffy and up to his son who he hadn't seen since he was five years old. "Usopp?" He question in a whisper.

"Yeah dad it's me." Said Usopp looking down at his feet. He didn't know if he could look up at the man that he hadn't seen in so long.

Yasopp began crying like a baby as he pulled his son into his arms just holding him. Usopp's shoulders slowly began shaking as one could tell the boy was crying as well. "I'm so sorry I haven't gone to see you and your mother." He told his son.

Usopp pushed himself from his father and looked up at the man with tears in his eyes. "Mom died when I was 7. She gotten pretty sick shortly after you left." He told his father looking down at the ground.

Shanks's eyes widen as they had never been told. The Elder of Yasopp's village had a way of contacting them. But the man never did.

"Why didn't the Elder call me? He had Den Den Mushi. I told him to let me know if anything ever happen, I will return." Growled out Yasopp.

"He died before mom. An illness ran though the village and those to weak to fight it died." Said Usopp. He felt a little better now. If the Elder hadn't died. His father would had come for him. He just nodded his head.

"I'm sorry son." Said Yasopp.

Luffy just smiled sadly. "I'm glad I was able to get this closure he needed on his parents." She told Shanks who just looked at the girl.

"Who are you and what did you do to my little Luffy?" Question Shanks all wide eye.

Luffy giggled. "Shishishishi." "It's me silly. I just can't stay the little girl you met 10 years ago forever?" She told him.

Shanks blinked at her. "Well I guess not." He told her pulling her into another hug. "But I am glad I get to see you once more. I am proud of your first bounty. 30 million for the weakest of all the blues. That isn't too bad for your first go." He told her.

Luffy looked up at him. "I think it should have been higher." She told him with a pout.

Everyone looked at her with shock on their faces. "Why is that?" Asked Rockstar as he wanted to know what was going through the girls head.

"Well…I started out kicking Alvida's ass, than Captain Morgan, Buggy the Clown as his ugly red nose, A jackass called Klahadore that was formerly known as Captain Kuro who faked his death because he couldn't hack it as a pirate, than there was Don Krieg of the Krieg Pirates. He was all talk and shiny shit, And then finally we have Arlong and his band of misfits. So yeah. I think I should had been over 60 million berries or higher." Said Luffy with a pout.

Everyone just blinked a looking at her. All the Red-hair Pirates looked at the slender built raven hair girl with wide eyes.

"I would have kicked that Hawkeye guy's ass as well. But Zoro wanted to Duel him as a swordsmen with his honor. So I stayed out of it." She added looking up at everyone.

"Umm…Lu-chan." Said Lucky.

"Yeah Lucky?" Question Luffy while tilting her head to the left slightly.

"You do know Mihawk is one of the 7 Warlords?" Question Lucky as he didn't know what to think.

"Yeah I know. I saw the files on all 7 Warlords when I was about 12. Gramps had paperwork on him during one of our training trips." Said Luffy as she remembered asking Garp about the man with Golden eyes.

"Lu-chan you do know. Not even I can beat Hawkeye. We are on equal grounds. Even now with my other arm missing. We are still equal in battle." Said Shanks looking at the girl before him.

Luffy looked up at him with wide eyes. "He is that strong?" She asked all wide eyed. This made everyone fall over and sweat drop at the girls antics.

Zoro let out a sigh. "So I wouldn't even stand a chance against one of the 4 Emperors." He question with his hand on his white sword.

"Sorry kid. I'm afraid not." Said Shanks looking at the one with green hair. This must of be the one that Mihawk fought and wants to replace him with. 'He doesn't look like much. But what I heard about the boy he is a swordsmen of the three sword fighting style. But he only has a single sword. He must be here to replace to the other two the old Hawkeye broke.' He thought to himself.

Zoro just nodded his head and let out a sigh. He was still to tried from their fight with the Fishmen. "That's fine for now. I just need to get stronger and get two new swords." He said letting out a sigh.

Luffy looked at him. "Yeah. We will do that shortly. I need to pick up a weapon as well. I don't think a gun would suit me. But maybe a short sword. So we can train." She told her first-mate. Zoro just nodded his head to this. He could work with that.

Shanks and the others looked at her with a little shock. "When do you fight with anything other than your fist?" He question her.

Luffy let out a sigh as she looked up at the crimson hair man. "I know I'm pretty strong as Zoro, Sanji, and I are being called the Monster Trio. For we are a force to be wrecking with. But I can't always rely on my brut straight in battle. As well I have been trying to find a weapon that suits me. As a kid with my brothers we would use led pipes in fights and hunting. So I figure why not upgrade to a short sword. I will still leave being the swordsmen to Zoro. I just want to be well rounded in battle." She told the others as Shanks studied her face and slowly nodded his head.

"Yeah that is a good thing to do. Especially in Paradise." Agreed Shanks as he smiled down at her. "But I do have two short swords I am unable to use and they must be used together." He told her.

Benn looked at his Captain. "Do you believe it is wise to give her those two?" He question as he knew no one on the crew could even handle those two short swords.

This had Zoro looking over at the two men talking about two cursed short swords. "I believe her luck will over power any silly little curse or blood lust those two short swords might have." He said with Sanji glaring at him.

"Why do you want to put our adorable Captain in danger Mosshead?" Growled out Sanji as now Shanks and Benn look over at the blonde hair man fighting with the swordsmen.

"Adorable?" Question Shanks looking down at the girl who came to his shoulder in height.

"Don't listen to the love cook. He always thinks with his other head when it comes to women." Said Zoro walking away from Sanji and jumping over to join Luffy at looking at these two swords. "I wouldn't mind looking at the two short swords though. See if they are something, she will be able to work with." He added as he ignored Sanji yelling at him.

"Does the cook always flirt with you so openly?" Question Shanks as he didn't know how he would like the answer.

Luffy just waved him off as he and Benn walk to the Captain's chambers to retrieve the two short swords. "He flirts more with Nami than myself. But I do get extra treats from him with just a pout or a smile." She told him with a small giggle.

"I swear your going to be the death of me when it comes to that shitty cook." Growled out Zoro as he stay up half the night and sleep lighter to make sure the prev doesn't try anything on the girls.

Luffy jumps on Zoro's back hanging off of his shoulders as her arms wrap around his neck. "Aww but Zoro loves his pain in the butt Captain. He will always be there to protect me from love sick Sanji or other little prevy freaks." She teased as Zoro's cheek dusted a soft pink.

"Get off of me or just shut up if your not going to get off." Growled out Zoro as the two older men watch the two younger pirates talk.

"Do you think he likes her?" Whispered Shanks to Benn.

Benn looked from the two teens to his Captain and back. "As much as one would adore their little sister. He is her protector from anyone who might try to do something to her." He told his Captain as a grin crossed his lips. "Even from an old man like yourself." He teased as Shanks fell over with his right foot up in the air twitching.

Both Luffy and Zoro stop talking and moving and look down at the man on the floor. "What happen to him?" Question Luffy looking down all innocent at the red-hair man on the floor.

"Nothing. He must have slipped on something." Said Benn waving the girl off with a large grin on his face.

Zoro just studied the man on the ground and the one looming over him. "He tries anything, and he will find out why the love cook doesn't get up in the middle of the night no more." He told Shanks as Benn began to chuckle.

"Don't worry. We will keep a tight leash on him." Said Benn as Shanks got up off the floor and looked over at the green hair teen. 'He is smarter than he looks and is very protective of the girl. I wonder if he will be as bad as Ace?' He thought to himself with a smile.

"What are you guys talking about?" Question Luffy a little confused by Zoro's comment.

"Don't worry about it Luffy. Let's just see your new swords." Said Zoro as he smirked at Shanks as he figured the man out. "I'll just have a friendly little chat with Shanks a little later about his gift to you." He added as now Shanks knew he was caught red handed and Luffy was still none the wiser.

Shanks looked over at Luffy. "I just hope you will be able to handle The Demon Blade cursed Naginata and Devil's Wrath Naginata. Both naginata's are 19.60 inch/50 cm in blade length and the handle length is 11.80 inches/ 30.00 cm over all in length it is about 31.40inchs/80 cm. They are made of an odd metal that I have never seen before and have a crimson look to them with a black aura to them as well." He told her.

Zoro just nodded his head. "Yeah they are cursed. But this is the first time I have heard of a red blade. When one thinks of a cursed blade. The swords are normally black." He said looking at Luffy.

"It is what it is. If I am not able to handle these blades. Then it wasn't meant to be." Said Luffy with a large grin on her face as they now stood before the Shanks's cabin.

Shanks open the door to his cabin as they followed him in and resting on his bed oddly enough where the two Naginata's in question. Shanks arched a brow to this. "Didn't I have those locked up?" He asked as he looked over at Benn.

"The last time I check." Said Benn as he was feeling very uneasy about this whole thing. "Maybe we should give Luffy the Bringer of Light sword and sparrows wrath. I believe those would suit her the best." But it was already too late.

Luffy had already picked up the two naginata's. Throwing them both up in the arm and holding her arms out just light Zoro had suggested for her to do. Something he had done once before with another cursed sword he once own. Both naginata's flipped in the air spinning as they came down as the blunt side of the blade pressed against her arms.

Both Shanks and Benn's mouth hung open with shock. "How in the hell?" Question Benn for he has never seen someone do something like that in his whole entire life.

"Wow, Zoro. Your right. If I showed them no fear, they would show me respect." Said Luffy now hugging her swordsmen who was now earning death glares from the two men in the cabin.

Zoro just smirked. "Like I told you. IF it was meant to be. You will be able to wield these two blade together." He told her as he just held his cocky grin on his face.

"Hey Luffy, why don't you go show the others your new naginatas. I want to ask Shanks where he got them." Said Zoro as he looked down at his Captain.

"Alright." Said Luffy as she ran out of the cabin to show the others. This allowed the three men a minute to speak without Luffy being around as Zoro had a few questions for the red-hair captain.

"Be honest with me. Why did you give Luffy those two naginata's that hold demons within them?" Asked Zoro as his eyes narrowed.

Shanks's eyes widen a fraction. "I knew they held demons in them, but I didn't know you could feel them. I figured Luffy was strong enough to over power them with her own will and pure heart." He told Zoro.

"Are you sure she is strong enough? I know Luffy is special. But those two demons might try to over power her. For they came out of the trunk you had them in over there." Zoro said as he pointed to the trunk that was broken with the lid popped off with several other swords in it.

"He is right Shanks. I still think we should give Luffy those other two swords and just tell her once she has master Haki that is when she should begin working with those two naginatas. For you know Mihawk will hunt the girl down if he finds out you let a child have those two naginata's without any training." Said Benn.

This now had Zoro a little worried as he wasn't strong enough just yet to battle Hawk-eye. "Are you insane. Your placing my Captain endanger." Growled out Zoro as a dark aura began to overtake him.

"I will give Luffy the Bringer of Light and Sparrows Wrath to make you two happy." Said Shanks as he walked to another case and open it with a short sword with a white handle and sheave and a long sword with a blue handle and sheave.

They walk out of the cabin. "Hey Luffy." Called Shanks.

Luffy looked back at the three men walking over to her. "Yeah Shanks?" She question as she smiles big at him.

"I want you to train with these two swords before you begin training with those two." Said Shanks. "For you need to have Haki to get those two to work well with you." He added as he wasn't sure if she knew what it was.

"Oh. Well I know how to use two of the three as the third one is still a little problematic for me. I can only use it when I lose control of my emotion." Luffy tells him.

"Well you need to have total control of the first two to manage those two." Said Benn.

"Okay. Then I will have Zoro keep these two safe for me and have him train me with these two." Said Luffy with a large grin on her face.

They all nodded their heads as Zoro took the two naginatas from the girl as he felt the demons fighting with his own demon. But he was glad his own demon was stronger than those two put together.

"So are we going to get some shopping done?" Yelled Nami as she was growing tired of this.

Luffy looks over at the ginger. "Yeah. Everyone has their money and list?" called out Luffy.

"Yeah." They all called out.

"Hey Luffy, I can show you around town if you like." Said Shanks.

"That would be great. For I want to see where it all came to end for Captain Gol D. Rogers. But I also want to see where it all began for him as well." Said Luffy as she looked lost as she looked over to the town from the harbor.

"Then allow me Future Pirate King to be your guide." Said Shanks with a bow to her.

Luffy just giggles.

Everyone goes their own ways as they all gather supplies for both ships and just to have a good time. Mostly Luffy and Shanks. But Benn took Zoro to a place he could get swords to replace the ones Mihawk had broken and then go and find their Captains to makes sure they hadn't gotten in trouble.

In the shadows a red-nose freak followed the two Captains. 'That bastard is here as well. Maybe I can kill them both at once.' He thought to himself.
