F3: Welcome to chapter 9 of my Neptunia story. We left off with Lastation under attack by enemy monsters as Noire and company try to fend off the monsters. Hyperdimension Neptunia is owned by Compile Heart and Idea Factory. With that said Let's Get Started.
Chapter 9: Transformation.
Monsters roared above Lastation as they continue to attack the city. One monster was ready to unleash another attack onto the city but it was stop by laser fire piercing through it's jaw killing it instantly. Nepgear fired her gunsword at the monsters killing them one by one but them more that she kills the more that appears to be more of.
"Just how many of these monsters?" Nepgear asked herself as another monster charged her at her but this time she slashed at the monster.
"Panzer Blade!" Nepgear shouted unleashing a fury of slashs at the monster killing it instantly.
She immediately turned to where more of the monsters were coming from and summoned two bits to her side as they fired lasers at the monsters. She looked down at Lastation seeing the amount of damage that has already been done and she just hoped that her sister was doing alright.
"Uni! You alright!?" Nepgear shouted as Uni was firing at the monsters with large rifle killing with ease but they were starting to overwhelm.
"EX Multi Blaster! Mode Empress!" Uni shouted as a golden laser came out of her rifle blasting most of the monster in her way killing them. She then float right near Nepgear.
"These monster just keep coming. How much longer do we have to keep this up?" Uni asked.
"As long as we need to. Ready for another round?" Nepgear asked as Uni readied her rifle.
"Let's do this!" Uni shouted as the two charged at the monsters.
=HDN=
Meanwhile Purple Heart and Black Heart cut their way through the monsters on the ground while Sonya was clearing away some of the smaller monsters.
"We should be nearing the business district soon. IF said that she's their too." Purple Heart replied.
"Good. Hopefully she's spotted the spawner before then. I bet that what's summoning all these monsters." Black Heart said.
"Then we better hurry." Sonya replied as just then more monsters appeared nearby as they charged at the three.
Purple Heart and Black Heart readied their weapons but Sonya ran ahead of the toward the monster.
"Lightning Javelin!" Sonya declared raising her hand into the air as spears of lightning came down striking each of the monstes.
"I'll keep these guys busy. You two get going!" Sonya shouted bringing out her bladed cane.
"We're not leaving you here by yourself!" Black Heart shouted back.
"I'm not debating you about this Noire. You two are faster than I am so you can get to business district quicker without me slowing you two down." Sonya replied.
"Sonya..." Black Heart whispered.
"Besides you know it's take more than a couple of monster to kill me. I'll see you at the end of this okay." Sonya said with a grin on her face giving Black Heart a thumbs up.
She nodded at this and returned the favor "Alright... just don't die on me." Black Heart said as the two CPU's took off toward the business district as Sonya stayed and saw more monster approach.
"So... which one of you want's to die first?" She asked as she charged at the monsters.
Meanwhile the two CPU's flew through the market district and were now on their way toward where IF was and hopefully has much better luck than they have right now.
Meanwhile IF has cut through another monster and was making it toward the center of the business district and once she got their she saw what could be the source of the spawning monsters. It was a portal in front of one of Lastations buildings that was surprisingly undamaged the portal was creating monsters and summoning them through it.
"Okay this definately has to be it. But how do I close it?" IF asked herself as she phoned Neptune.
"Neptune I've found what's causing the monsters to appear. It's some kind of portal doing it but I don't know how to close it." IF said.
"Wait right there IF. Noire and I are almost at your location. For now try and contain the monsters to that area. We can't let them spread." Purple Heart said as she hung up.
"Guess I better keep them busy till they get here." IF said as she readied to cast her magic as a spell circle appeared below the monsters.
"La Delphanis!" She shouted as a pillar of bright light erupted from the circle killing most of the monsters. The monster saw their kin killed by the human and they were not happy about that as they charged at her.
"Dragon Skin!" She shouted as her skin became covered in scales as she blocked an attack the monsters claws bouncing off her armored skin.
"Serpent Death!" IF called out unleashing a deadly stream of poison at the monsters in front of her as the poison was starting to hurt the monsters as it slowly killed them. Up above watching everything unfold Croire was seeing her take out her monsters while she also noticed the other two CPU's were fast approaching.
"Oh no you don't. Can't let you interfene that quickly now can we." Croire said and with snap of her fingers many monsters appeared in front of them.
"What the? Where'd they all come from?" Purple Heart questioned surprised at just how many there were.
"We'll just have to blast our way through them." Black Heart stated as she charged at one of the monsters slashing it in half but Purple Heart noticed that she was putting more effort into her attacks almost like she was struggling a little.
"Cross Combination!" Purple Heart shouted slashing at multiple monsters killing them before checking up on Noire.
"Noire. Are you alright? You don't look to good." Purple Heart said as Black Heart was breathing rather hard.
"I feel... like my energy is... being drained." Black Heart said which surprised her as their was more monsters to deal with.
Croire smiled at this as she check how much was already absorbed.
"15%. Not bad Iffy. You don't even know it but you're helping bring down a nation little by little." Croire said.
"Though what will you do with that energy I wonder?" She asked herself as she watched her fight.
A monster managed to break through her defenses knocking her back into a building wall. She recovered quickly dodging the large claw coming at her narrowly avoiding it though as she responded by shooting at it but the Boulder Golem took every attack from her as it just bounced off its earthly skin.
"If I don't do something this monster is going to terrorize more of the city. Where are Neptune and Noire? I thought they'd be here right now." IF said to herself as the golem charged at her again.
This time IF slid underneath the monster to get away from it before cast her magic.
"Demonic Inferno!" She cast as a pillar of fire erupted underneath the creature but it did very little to effect it.
"Damnit! Nothing slows it down!" IF shouted but just then the golem reacted by lauching fireballs at IF. She quickly activate her Dragon Skin but it did very little against fire attacks as it knocked her back into a building as she shattered the glass on impact.
The monster roared in triumph thinking that it has defeat its foe.
"Ow... okay that hurt." She groaned as she could barely make it to her feet but the monster outside was still their and ready to fight again.
"Damnit! If those two were here this'll be over quickly." IF thought as she pictured the two defeating the monster with near ease while she just stood on the sidelines.
"Am I not strong enough? I feel so... weak... powerless." She thought as the monster roared causing more destruction around it as she was forcing her body her to move.
"If only... I was stronger." IF thought as she finally got up to her feet but she felt some kind of energy surging through her.
Suddenly she heard a scream that sound familular as she saw Compa outside trying to get some kids to safety but couldn't get away as the monster had them in its sights. IF saw this as she began to move feeling the energy flow through her.
"Leave them alone!" She tried shouting but the monster couldn't hear her as it began heading toward the small group and Compa.
Her eyes grew wide as she tried to run at it but she didn't know that her eyes had a power symbol in them.
"I said leave them alone!" IF shouted as she was suddenly surrounded by a bright light that engulfed her entire body.
Compa tried to run away from the monster but with the kids that were with her she couldn't abandon them as she tried fighting the monster but her weapons attacks were only bouncing off its skin. The Boulder Golem then roared at them as Compa stood in front of the kids protectively as the monster prepared to attack. Compa closed her eyes as she braced herself as this might be her end but the attack never came as something came blitzing out of nowhere hitting the monster square in the head knocking it back.
Compa opened her eyes and seeing something or more like a someone in front of her that she didn't recognize.
The woman in front of her was tall about 6'1 with long flowing crimson red hair with small golden gear hair clips. She wears a dark navy blue two piece bikini like outfit that gives a view of her cleavage with gold segments around the top with a choker that has a symbol of a two gears in the middle. She wears matching colored knee length mechancial boots that are spiked at the knees that have silver and gold accents running up the sides and decorating the toe and heel. On her arms are dark navy blue colored elbow length gloves with hints of silver and gold accents along with glove but her hands are more like claws. On the bottom of her boots are what appear to be wheels and her back are a pair of cyan colored transulent fairy wings. She stared at Compa with bright blue eyes.
Compa stared at the woman completely in shock as the woman spoke.
"Hey! You good." The woman said her mature voice getting through to her.
"Oh uh yeah... I'm okay." Compa said.
"Good. Now get going while I handle this." The woman ordered as Compa gathered the kids and immediately ran for safety but Compa looked back a moment and had a thought in her mind.
"Another CPU? But I thought Nep Nep and the others were the only ones." Compa thought as they went somewhere safe away from the fighting.
The woman turned to the monster "As for you. No one hurts Compa!" She shouted and immediately started attacking the monster with her bare fists as the monster was suddenly getting overpowered by this new foe. The monster tried fighting back but was met with a quick punch followed by an axe kick stunning it. She knew she was doing damage to it but with its tough exterior but she then quickly located its weak point.
"It's underbelly. That's its weak point." The woman thought as the monster tried to fight back blasting her with fireballs. The wheels on her heels activated as she quickly moved out of the way of the attack as she got underneath and delivered a powerful blow with enough force to send the monster skyward.
"I'll blast you to the depths of destiny!" The woman shouted as two canons appeared on her shoulders as she directed them toward the monster as they started charging energy.
"DIE!" She roared as the canons fired at the monster unleashing an energy blast directly at the monsters underbelly and piercing the monster as the monster roared accepting its fate before it died from the blast.
Elsewhere Purple Heart and Black Heart were dealing with more monsters but that's when they saw a bright light coming from the center of the business district but quickly disappeared.
"What on earth was that?" Black Heart asked.
"I don't know but we need to find out. Quickly." Purple Heart said as the two made their way to the center of the business district.
The woman breathed heavily after the attack and then she was surrounded by another light as in her place was now IF breathing heavily. She then dropped to her knees before falling to the ground passing out.
Above her Croire stopped recording after the transformation well knowing the ending of her monster she created but she was till happy none the less.
"Not bad IF. You finally unlocked your transformation. Now their's no need for my monsters now." She said snapping her fingers as the portal disappeared along with all the monsters that came from it. She then took something out of her pocket which was another data chip.
"A little reward for a job well done." Croire said as she placed it in IF's pocket before she vanished.
Just then Purple Heart and Black Heart came flying in and saw the damage especially to the damaged buildings.
"Whoa. This will take a while to clean up." Purple Heart said.
"I just hope that no one was injuried." Black Heart added but then they both spotted IF laying facedown on the ground.
"IFFY!" Purple Heart shouted worried for her friend as they rushed over to her. She turned her over on her back and craddled her seeing that she's unconcious.
"She's unconcious. C'mon let's take her to her hospital." Black Heart said as Purple Heart lifted IF's body up in a bridal carry and then they began flying off toward the hospital. Up above on a nearby building Croire watched with a smile on her face as her job for unlocking IF's HDD form was success.
Now the only thing left was for the world to know of this new CPU that appeared.

Everything was black around IF as she wasn't sure how long she was out and she felt very tired but she still tried to move as her senses were coming back to her as the first thing she smelled was that of cleaning material. She opened her eyes slowly as blocking the light that shined on her before her vision clearing up. She sat up and realized that she was indeed in a hospital as she was wearing a hospital gown.
She was able to sit up but noticed she wasn't alone.
"Iffy! You're alright!" A cheery voice said as she saw that it was Compa sitting next to her bed but she has her left arm in a sling and saw that it was bandaged up.
"Hey Compa. What happened to you're arm?" IF asked.
"Oh well... a monster sorta broke my arm while I was trying to safe the kids. It's going to be a while till it heals but I'm more worried about you. You were passed out for a whole day." Compa said as IF wide eyed.
"A whole day! What happened?!" IF said nearly shouting.
"Here let me show you." Compa said bringing out her phone she show her the news and playing the video.
"Tragedy struck Lastation less than 24 hours ago where a sudden monster attack ravaged the nation of Lastation. Many had lost their homes due to the attack and are now seeking refuge inside the bascilicom where Lady Noire and Lady Uni shall speak to the nation." The news lady stated as the video cut to where Noire, Uni along with their oracle Kei are speaking to the news crew.
"We are opening our doors to all those that have lost their homes to the monster attack for shelter. As such we are also putting forth effort to repair the damages that has been caused by this attack." Noire stated.
"How did these monsters get through the nations defenses?" One of the news crew asked.
"From what we could gather this was done due to a portal created in the center of the business district. Which could only mean that these monsters were summoned by someone and we will do whatever we can to find out who summoned these creatures and put a stop to them before more damage could be done." Noire added.
"Lady Noire. Their was a video release showing what appears to be another goddess. Any response for this sudden appearance of a new goddess?" A female member asked.
Noire paused a moment but instead of her answering it was Uni that responded.
"We don't know who this new goddess is but if there is one thing I would like to say is that we hope to thank this goddess personaly face to face." Uni stated.
"Thank you. No more questions at this time." Kei stated as they were suddenly bombarded with questions as the video ended.
"Wow. So another goddess huh? That's something you don't see every day." IF said.
"Yeah I saw her yesterday saving me and some kids. She was super strong especially when she kicked that monster away from us." Compa said giddly.
"With her bare hands. That's rather impressive." IF added.
Just then the door opened as her father stepped inside with a worried look on his face.
"There you are. I was worried sick. Especially when you didn't pick up any of my calls." Kaito replied.
"Sorry about that dad." IF said rubbing the back of her head.
He walked over to the side of the bed and brought her close for an embrace.
"Well the important thing is that you're alright. The doctors said you just passed out so they should be able to discharge you soon." Kaito replied.
"Really?" IF questioned.
"But I'm sure that mosnter hit me strong enough to at least give me some broken bones even with my defenses." She thought as Kaito looked toward Compa.
"You look like you've seen better days Ms. Compa." Kaito replied noting the sling.
"Yeah. I might have gotten a little reckless." Compa said sheepishly.
"Still thank you for keeping my daughter company." Kaito said giving the girl a smile.
Compa returned the gesture "Anytime sir." She added.
"I'll go have a word with the doctors and see about getting you out of here okay." Kaito replied.
IF nodded and Kaito left the room to speak with the doctors.
Just as he left Neptune and Nepgear entered in next as they each were holding bags of sweets in their hands.
"Hey Iffy! You're awake. Thank goodness. You have me worried there for a moment back there you know." Neptune said hugging her close friend.
"Sorry about that. What about you two? You don't look any worse for wear." IF asked as the two separated from the embrace.
"Just a few scrapes really so nothing really major. Although what I'm really concerned about is ths new goddess that appeared." Nepgear replied with a worried look on her face.
Neptune nodded "I agree. This goddess could be trouble especially how much power she's packing." Neptune said.
"Really? Is this new goddess that strong?" IF asked.
Nepgear set the stuff down by her bed as she pulled out her N-Gear.
"Here. Let me show you." Nepgear said showing her and Compa. The video played watching this new goddess handle the Boulder Golem with ease dodging it's attacks before getting underneath it to punch it into the air as she then summoned two energy cannons and blasted the monster killing it instantly. In which afterward the video promptly ends.
"Okay now that's a lot of power for just one goddess." IF replied.
"Yeah. Even that's too much." Compa added.
"You think she'll be like that Rei Ryghts from the Ultra Dimension?" Nepgear asked.
IF thought hard a moment but even she wasn't sure "I'm not sure. It's hards too tell really." She answered even she wasn't sure what to make of the situation.
"Well for now we better keep an eye out for this goddess incase she appears again. We're heading back to Planeptune so don't be a stranger and stop by okay Iffy." Neptune said.
"Yeah I know. Bye you two." IF said.
"Bye Nep-Nep. You to Ge-Ge." Compa said as the two CPUs left the room to make their way back home.
"Still I thought my injuries would've been more than just passing out. I know I didn't case my healing spell... nah maybe I got lucky is all." IF thought as she waited to be discharged from the hospital.
Meanwhile at the bascilicom Uni was making sure everyone was comfortable after losing their homes from the monster attack and making sure that none of them were wounded as Noire and Kei were discussing matters.
"So what's the damage report?" Noire asked.
"Well from what we were able to gather is the follow. More than eighty homes were destroyed in the subdivison that are in need to be rebuilt. Damage has been done to the west and eastern borders along with the business district. Also search and rescue mission are now currently taking place find any suvivors and if any are being taken to the hospital for immediate care." Kei replied.
"And... any deaths?" Noire questioned nervously.
Kei stayed silent for a moment before she spoke "Around fifty deaths already ma'am. Also I would like to note that we are down twenty percent in share energy." Kei mentioned.
"Damnit!" Noire cursed clenching her hands into fists.
"Ma'am what are your orders?" Kei questioned.
Noire calmed herself so that she could think a moment before doing something rash. A moment later she had an idea.
"Continue with the search and rescue but send with them a medical unit so that they could stablize anyone that they rescue. Also have the workers start making preparations for rebuilding the subdivision. The quicker that is done the faster the people can get back into stable homes. I'll make a call to Blanc and see if she can helps us rebuild the subdivision since they have proper builders." Noire ordered.
"And the refugees ma'am?" Kei asked.
"Make sure that they are comfortable as humanly possible. I want you to assist Uni in that Kei." Noire ordered.
"Understood." Kei said as she walked off. However Noire still had other things on her mind especially about this new goddess if she was going to be a friend or a potential foe in the near future but for now she has some repairs to get done and a call to make.

F3: And that's chapter 9. Looks like IF has managed to transform but she doesn't know that the new goddess is her. Lastation is now under repairs but wonder what else could happen.
