Guest: Naruto scarab is a reach scarab (And yes the scarab will be named Later and it will be Kurama). Just like the one Green, Black,Blue beetle. But he was killed before he could be of use for the reach . And yes they do want to reproduce the Scarab en masse but Herkus will be different (Let's just say he is awesome but impractical and they did a lot of reverse engineering of Kurama). Also I had Naruto away from the League so i could develop his own supporting cast and Rogue gallery without messing with previous leaguers and members of Young Justice (though Naruto will team up with them later ), when I said toku inspired it means certains elements Naruto is already kinda like a Kamen Rider being a Bug-themed japanese hero made for evil that turned good.

Though Naruto will fight some villains trying to strike in a place with less heroes. Some of these events will lead to team ups

Principally because something that bother me while writing Shining Star is that sometimes Naruto felt like he is just fighting other heroes hand me downs villains.

Engulfing Darkness: I did wanted to make it more unique, and having Naruto being a young adult make it more interesting, in a way he is more mature that the other Naruto i wrote also his job gave me a lot of opportunity to develop and write stories around him.

Scarlet Scarab: Secret Origin part II

Naruto Uzumaki ever since he was a small child he was always afraid of ending up like one of those old men who spent all the day yearning for his glory days instead of living in the present.

But he never expected that it will happen when he was 22 and not 60 and surrounded by his grandchildren , but right now he was looking back at when his life made sense.

"10 hours ago before a Parasite took residence in my back". Lamented Naruto

""WHO ARE YOU CALLING A PARASITE?!" the beetle snapped, clearly offended.

"WHO DO YOU THINK?!" Naruto thought irritably, suppressing a sigh.

"I dare you to say that again you hairless ape," the beetle retorted

Naruto clenched his jaw. If he didn't figure out how to get rid of this Scarab soon, he might actually shoot himself just for the peace and quiet.

2 hours ago (After the fight)

Naruto had been running his hands over his arms and legs. The sheer relief of having control again was amazing. He swore he'd never take autonomy of his body for granted again.

It had been disturbing, to say the least—seeing everything, feeling everything, but not being able to move his own limbs. And worse, witnessing those very limbs morph into weapons out of thin air to fight what is probably supervillains and would have made him at least an accesory for their execution. A shiver ran down his spine just thinking about it.

At least he wasn't naked,. The beetle armor didn't destroy his uniform at least.

Naruto's eyes fell on Dosu, still unconscious and stampled against the warehouse wall. He approached him cautiously, placing two fingers on the killer's neck.

"Good, he's still breathing," he murmured, feeling a wave of relief wash over him.

"How disappointing, don't you mean" the Scarab chimed in coldly.

"Don't start," Naruto muttered under his breath.

"You're welcome, by the way," the Scarab chimed in again, its voice smug. "Without me, you'd be dead."

"Yeah, thanks," Naruto muttered under his breath. Normally, he would have been more grateful, but something told him the Scarab wasn't acting out of any kind of altruism. It had its own agenda, and he was just along for the ride. As he scanned the empty warehouse, his mind raced for a way to explain everything in the incident report without sounding like a lunatic. Sure, Tokyo had seen its fair share of superhumans, but it was still difficult to see the difference between someone with real powers and someone who was just plain crazy.

The fact that the bug in his back has homicidal tendencies doesn't help much either.

Shit, he thought, running a hand through his hair. I'm gonna have to call the Superhuman Division.

"FREEZE! POLICE!"

The shout came from the entrance. Naruto spun around to see a group of officers pouring in, guns drawn, their flashlights slicing through the darkness.

"Everybody get on the grou- Naruto-kun?" Said a police officer with Brown hair and eyes, next to one with Black hair and brown eyes.

They were Kotetsu and Izumo, the were Naruto superiors on the Koban. Normally they get along fine even though they are on the lazier side.

"Hi, Izumo-senpai. Kotetsu-senpai." He waved awkwardly and slowly and with a forced smile

"Idiot"

"Oh... Shut the fuck up"

"What happened here. It look like a tornado smashed everything" Said Kotetsu

"He wishes" Mocked the Beetle

"Well is kinda complicated" Said Naruto ignoring the comentary of the beetle and he told them a version of the story that he was practicing without telling that he was used by the beetle.

Principally because while Naruto and them had a relatively good relationship, he isn't close enough to tell them about the beetle.

Fuck... He is still procesing it himself

"So let me get this straight," Izumo said, narrowing his eyes as he processed the information. "You were sent to a false alarm, and while you were finishing your shift, you saw those three trying to break in? So you tailed them"

"Hai"

"And then the bandage guy who has superpowers attack you, destroying your radio so you couldn't call backup" Added Kotetsu

"Hai"

"And when he was about to kill you a giant red bug monster jump in beat the shit out of those 3 only to escape from that hole in the celing into the unknown"

"Hai," Naruto admitted, his tone resigned. "That pretty much sums it up."

Kotetsu exchanged glances with Izumo, both looking perplexed. "Naruto-kun, this sounds like something out of a bad sci-fi movie."

"I know how it sounds!" Naruto said, frustrated. Despite the fact that the world had seen Superman flying around for at least 20 years, people still had trouble believing in anything beyond the ordinary.

Izumo nodded thoughtfully. "Well, Kotetsu, Naruto-kun isn't the type to make something like this up."

Kotetsu sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "You realize this means we have to call the Superhuman Division, right?"

Naruto winced at the mention of them. The Superhuman Division of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department—also known as the "Tokyo Troopers" by the media—was an elite unit established over a decade ago by the NPA . It was Japan's answer to deal with superhuman criminals without relying on foreign heroes like the Justice League. Equipped with cutting-edge technology and specialized training, they were the city frontline defense in such emergencies.

However, all three men grimaced at the thought. Not many people in the police force enjoyed dealing with Senior Superintendent Uehara Daizo and his team. The man was infamous for his "difficult " personality.

Aka he was an egocentrical prick.

"Hey, Naruto, you had a rough day. You really should go home and rest, maybe see a doctor after all that mummy guy did attack you. Don't worry; me and Kotetsu will take care of everything."

"We are?" said Kotetsu only for Izumo elbowing him sharply in the side.

"I mean, yes, we are," he corrected quickly, shooting Izumo a sheepish grin.

Izumo after all had seen that Naruto been working hard lately and well Sempai-Kouhai solidarity. He like to throw his juniors some bones sometimes after all. Also Naruto was acting strangely normally he is more energic, passionate not so ... Sullen. It was probably a mix of dealing with superhuman and a long shift

"Really. Arigato, Izumo-senpai," Naruto replied

"Still, those guys are totally out cold," said Kotetsu, watching Zaku with a frown. "Whoever this bug is, he's strong. We were lucky he didn't attack us. Those marks on the wall make it seem like he could smash steel with his bare hands."

"You said it, trash," the Beetle mocked, its voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Shut up," Naruto snapped, irritation bubbling to the surface.

"What?" said Kotetsu, glancing at Naruto with confusion.

"I mean shut up! I didn't realize he was this strong," Naruto replied while scratching his head.

"Well for my part you should consider lucky. He didn't attack you" Said Kotetsu only for Naruto to frown. "I mean seriously i seen bears more delicate than this guy"

"Don't worry after today . I don't think we are ever going to see that bug again" Finished Naruto with a glare.

"Is that a threat because I like to see you try, human," the Beetle's voice echoed in Naruto's mind, mocking him once again..

Naruto clenched his jaw but kept his cool as Izumo stepped forward, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Naruto-kun," Izumo said softly, concern evident in his eyes. "Go home, get some rest. You've been through enough tonight."

Naruto could feel the exhaustion weighing heavily on him, each step he took feeling more like a drag. He managed a half-hearted smile, one that didn't quite reach his eyes. "Arigato sempai"

Izumo gave a nod, and Kotetsu, though still unsure of what had really gone down, shot Naruto a thumbs-up. "Don't act tough man . We'll handle the paperwork. You just take it easy, okay?. We are only human after all"

Naruto stood at attention for a moment, giving them both a salute. It was a casual gesture, but one meant to show his respect. "Thanks again. Goodnight, Senpai."

After leaving Izumo and Kotetsu, Naruto headed back to the Koban. He needed to grab his things and crash in the nap room at Shinjuku station. Technically, the Koban answered to the main station, and Naruto was still officially an officer there, though he rarely slept in the building unless absolutely necessary. Tonight was one of those nights.

The last time he did was when he was asked to help review footage for a carjacking case a few months ago

20 hours of his life he will never get back

Naruto trudged through the familiar halls, his body heavy with exhaustion as he made his way to the nap room. It was a small, cramped space with two sets of metal bunk beds lined up against the far wall. The room had a utilitarian feel, the walls bare except for a clock ticking softly above the door. The dim overhead light cast a pale glow over the plain white sheets and thin blankets that covered each bed.

It was a room built for functionality, not comfort after all.

But to Naruto right now this could have been a 5 star hotel or a mansion , he didn't care.

Naruto dropped his bag on the floor with a heavy thud and sank into the lower bunk. Fortunately, the room was empty tonight. The last time he slept here, he'd shared the space with six other officers (he shared a bed). While he didn't mind sleeping in company the academy and his roomates snore made sure of that, tonight he appreciated the privacy.

Peeling off his uniform, his muscles protested every movement, aching from the day's events. As he reached to pull off his shirt, he caught sight of the faint red glow on his chest—the Scarab embedded in his skin, pulsing ominously under the dim light.

Naruto scowled at the sight. "I swear," he muttered, voice heavy with exhaustion. "When I wake up, you better be gone. Parasite."

The Beetle's spilled "Dream all you want, human. But I'm not a slave, and you're not my master."

Naruto groaned, pulling the thin blanket over his head in frustration. "Fine," he mumbled into the pillow, his words muffled. "But I'm not gonna let you ruin my life."

That was true all of Naruto insticts tell him that the scarab is trouble and he has shown to not have any problem is using his body as his plaything.

He will not let him.

Luckily he knows a doctor that maybe could help with this.

But right now he just want to sleep.

And hope tomorrow he could keep his normal life

Dosu Kinuta awoke in a dimly lit cell, His body tensed as he realized where he was—chained to a bed, his arms restrained in a straightjacket. Panic flared up in his chest, and he immediately began to struggle against the restraints, his muscles burning as he pulled against the heavy chains.

"AHHHHH!" His scream echoed in the small, sterile room, bouncing off the concrete walls. He thrashed, desperate to free himself, but the chains were too strong, the metal biting into his skin. His gauntlets were gone, leaving him powerless to control the sound waves that had once been his deadly weapon. Without them, he felt helpless, vulnerable—a feeling he despised more than anything.

"Let me out!" he snarled, his voice low and venomous. "Release me now or I will kill all of you!" Exclaimed Dosu he wasn't a dog that could be leashed when they don't want to deal with him.

"Stop it Dosu. You're only embarrasing yourself"

Dosu froze at the sound of the voice, his wild thrashing coming to an abrupt halt. He knows that smug and condescendent tone of voice anywhere.

"Colonel Ishida" Said Dosu.

"Actually, it's Major General now," Rasa Ishida replied, a hint of satisfaction in his voice.

"Congratulations"Replied sarcastically. "What do you want?" Dosu spat,

"The Scarab's user identity," Ishida said, his eyes narrowing slightly. "According to Zaku and Kin, they were too far away to see his face before he activated the armor, but you were face to face with him."

The mention of the Scarab sent a surge of anger through Dosu. "You think I'm just going to tell you? Why would I cooperate with you after you've locked me up like this?.The least you could do is explain why YOU LEFT ME IN A CAGE!"

"You're right I owe you at least an explanation .Let me put this way ,three felons appeared with superpowers, broke in the wharehouse of an international company, and almost killed a police officer, after making a mess that gained the attention of multiple civilians. You guys were just too compromised to continue in our employ, so we decided to finish our contract with the three of you"-

Dosu's breath quickened, his body tensing with anger. The chains clinked as he strained against them. "You used us!" he spat. "We risked everything for you, and this is how you repay us? Tossing us aside like we're nothing?"

Rasa smirked, unphased by Dosu's outburst. "Don't be so melodramatic. It doesn't suit you. We just decided to go in a different direction, and that way doesn't include you"

"You're a piece of shit"

"Thank you"

Dosu's eyes burned with hatred as he stared at the man who had orchestrated their downfall. "I'm not going to rot in here. You'll regret this, Rasa."

Rasa shrugged, unconcerned. "Maybe. But not today." He turned to leave, pausing only for a moment. "Tell me who the Scarab user is, and I might just reconsider your... situation"

As he said this, Rasa pulled a small communicator from his pocket. "Open cell 6-12," he ordered calmly, the device crackling as the message was received.

"What are you doing?" Said Dosu with an ice cold glare

Rasa's hand moved deliberately as he pulled out a sleek black handgun from his holster, leveling it directly at Dosu's head. The cold, unblinking barrel was mere inches from his forehead. (3)

The metallic click of the safety being disengaged echoed through the cell, a sound that seemed to freeze the air between them.

Rasa's gaze hardened, his finger hovering over the trigger. "You know, the people at HQ have been eager to test these new bullets. They claim they can shatter solid steel." His tone was cold, calculated. "And considering your so-called invulnerability, Dosu, I'm genuinely curious to see just how many shots it'll take before I get a glimpse of your brain."

Dosu's eyes narrowed, fury burning behind them. He clenched his jaw, but the restraints held him down, powerless against the gun aimed at his skull.

"You wouldn't dare," Dosu growled, though the edge of doubt crept into his voice.

Rasa "Will you bet your life on it Dosu. tic-tac, All it takes is one slip-up, one bullet." He tightened his grip on the gun. "So... I ask you again . Who is the Scarab user?"

Dosu sighed heavily, his anger tempered by the cold reality of the situation. He knew resistance was dangerous against Rasa's so with a sense of resignation, Dosu swalloed his pride and decided to speak the truth, as he had nothing to gain from lying.

"I honestly don't know," Dosu admitted, his voice tinged with bitterness. "It was dark and I wasn't truly paying attention when I attacked him. All I know is that he's a blonde police officer in his twenties."

Rasa' started to push Dosu head against his bed hurting the man

"You expect me to believe that?" Threatened the soldier.

Dosu winced as Rasa pushed his head hard against the bed, the metal frame digging into his skull. The pain shot through him, but he bit back a groan, refusing to give Rasa the satisfaction of seeing him suffer.

"I swear," Dosu muttered through gritted teeth, his voice strained. "That's all I know. A blonde cop in his twenties. I didn't care who he was at the time—I just wanted to play with him. If it wasn't for the Scarab, I probably would've forgotten him by now."

Rasa stared at Dosu, eye to eye, for a few tense seconds, his finger slowly squeezing the trigger. The room seemed to hold its breath. Then, with a deep sigh, Rasa lowered the gun.

"You really don't know anything, do you?" Rasa said after all Dosu was many things but not a liar. A piece of shit, perhaps, but not a liar.

Dosu just noded without making any noise

"Okay," Rasa said, his voice now calm and dismissive. "In that case, that's all."

With that, Rasa holstered the gun and turned toward the door, his boots echoing against the floor as he left the cell. Before stepping out, he gave one last order over his communicator. "Lights off."

"Hey, Rasa! You can't leave me here!" Dosu's voice cracked, "I told you what I know! At least take these chains off me!"

Rasa paused at the doorway, casting a glance over his shoulder. His expression was one of pure indifference. "Dosu, you're not Zaku or Kin," Rasa said, his voice cold and matter-of-fact. "They were criminals, sure... but you?" He chuckled darkly. "You're only alive because some people believe you can still be of use to us."

Dosu struggled again, the clink of chains echoing in the darkness, but Rasa was unmoved. "You're no different than a gun we keep in storage," Rasa continued. "And in storage, you shall stay."

Dosu thrashed against his restraints, the metallic clink of chains filling the dark room as his voice erupted with rage. "YOU PIECE OF SHIT!" he roared, his fury vibrating through the cold air. "LET ME OUT!"

"Don't worry, Dosu, IF we need you, we'll let you out," Rasa mocked, watching the man struggle helplessly against the chains. He chuckled darkly. "Unless, of course, you rot first. Hahahaha."

"RASAAAAAAAAAAA!" Dosu's scream tore through the cell as the door slammed shut, his voice filled with unbridled fury and desperation. The sound echoed in the darkness, but Rasa was already gone.

As the door slammed shut and the darkness consumed him, Dosu lay motionless for a moment, his breath coming in ragged gasps. His body trembled with a mix of rage and humiliation. Rasa's cruel laughter still echoed in his mind, but his thoughts quickly shifted, fixating on the one thing that had led him to this wretched state.

The Scarab user.

It was his fault. Everything. The failed mission, the chains binding his arms. If it hadn't been for that meddling cop and his cursed armor, Dosu wouldn't be here.

I had him... I had him dead to rights...

But the Scarab user had been stronger, more resilient than he'd anticipated. Dosu had been inches from crushing him, from savoring his victory, when that armor changed everything.

"I swear..." Dosu muttered to himself, his voice low and venomous, his heart pumping pure hatred. "I'll make him pay. That blonde bastard. He ruined everything. This is all his fault. And I will kill him for it."

A twisted grin curled on Dosu's lips in the darkness. Revenge would be sweet. It was the only thing keeping him sane now—the thought of tearing the Scarab user apart, limb by limb. He could already imagine the sound of his screams, the look of fear in his eyes.

Soon... very soon...

The rage inside him pulsed, fueling his thoughts of vengeance. The cop, that blonde bastard, had ruined everything. And Dosu would not rest until he paid for it with his life. Wherever he was, whenever they met again, that cop was as good as dead.

Suddenly, the cold, oppressive darkness of the cell was pierced by a strange purple hue, faint at first but growing in intensity

He will pay

"This is boring"

"Calm down , this is a slow day, which is a good thing for your information . And we are almost finished anyway" Thought Naruto while sorting some old documents in his desk

Naruto can't believe he ever thought this but he never was more thankful that he got stuck with a slow day with him in the desk job.

He was also finishing his shift, and then he was going to grab some lunch and then he can finally go back home.

"Naruto-kun , can you bring me the documents on the desk next to you" Said Iruka the Koban Chief Aka Naruto director superior Aka His boss.

No. Not this again. When he will ever learn to stop tempting fate.

"Hai Iruka-Kachou (5) " Said Naruto while bringing the papers to his desk

"Arigato," Iruka said, glancing over the documents as he sifted through them.

"So you're a slave". Mocked the Scarab. "Why that doesn't surprise me"

"Shut up . Also i'm not an slave this is a J-O-B. I get paid for this" Naruto responded to the bug ." And Iruka-san is my superior"

"He looks like a weakling I could easily conquer him and take control of this "Koban" in 2 minutes"

"What do you think this is . The Sengoku era? , you can't do that. Also Iruka-san is a good person" Answered Naruto and the last part is true in all his time working under Iruka the man was never unreasonable or even mean, he was always pretty flexible, though a little strict. Personally Naruto didn't have any complaints against him.

"Still I could take him. Easily"

"Well... " Reasonably boss aside, Iruka-san didn't have the typical personality you expect of a cop, If anything he was more like a school teacher than the universe assigned as a police officer than a hardened cop, though Kotetsu once told Naruto that Iruka wanted a job as a teacher in the police academy .That probably explains it. And considering that a large part of the Koban work is interacting with the community he still fits pretty well.

Though Naruto was pretty sure he could take him out in a fight.

"Is the first thing you said that made a small amount of sense"

"Ughhhhh! . Is like talking with a psychothic child"

"You're the child"

Naruto took a deep breath, clenching his fists. "Calm down, Naruto", he reminded himself. "You're a police officer. You've worked with drunks and thugs insulting you and your mother, and you didn't break their jaws no matter how much you wanted to. This is just a bug with an overinflated ego. Don't let him get to you".

"Naruto-kun, are you okay?" Iruka's concerned voice snapped him out of his internal dialogue. "You were making faces."

Naruto blinked, quickly shaking off his frustration and forcing a sheepish smile. "Ah, sorry, Iruka-Kachou. Just... thinking about something annoying."

Iruka raised an eyebrow but didn't press further. "Well, try not to let it distract you too much. You're still on duty."

"Hai" Said Naruto while blushing at being scolded just like when he was a rookie.

"Ha ha ha"

"Can I ask you a question, Iruka-Kachou?" Naruto asked, Ignoring the taunt of the bug.

Iruka looked at him "Of course, Naruto-kun. What's on your mind?"

Naruto hesitated for a moment before finally speak.

"Is about my request. To transfer to the CID. Have there been any updates on it?" Naruto asked, his voice a little more serious now.

"Sorry, Naruto-kun," Iruka said, his tone sympathetic. "It's the same as before. There just isn't any vacant spot in the CID right now."

Naruto's shoulders slumped slightly. He knew if there was any spot they would told him by now, but he still held hope. "I see... I guess. Thank for you time"

Naruto was dissapointed even thought he passed the exam to be a detective last semester the higher ups still kept him in his old job.

"Maybe if you weren't such a weakling, they'd give you the job," the Scarab taunted in its usual condescending tone.

Naruto gritted his teeth. "Weakling? I'm a 3rd dan in Kendo, and I'm good enough at Judo to throw people three times my size like they're children!"

"An strong ant, is still an ant "

"You know how ironic is. To be called an insect by a literal insect right?" Answered Naruto

The Scarab didn't respond this time, maybe he realized the irony or just couldn't think of an answer to that comment but he still gave Naruto a brief moment of peace as he typed out a message on his phone.

Naruto sent the message: Hello, it's me. I need a favor.

The reply came almost instantly: Sure.

Naruto quickly typed back: I need to see you after work. Is urgent

There was a brief pause before the response: WHAT DID YOU DO?! THIS TIME!?

Naruto glared at his phone ,a bit offended. Seriously? That'd your first reaction! It's nothing like that. It's a medical thing... I think... is complicated, OK

"I'm not sure. Maybe is better if you go to a hospital, more staff and equipment at least

Naruto sighed and typed back , Is something I want to left private, please You're the only one that i can trust with this, for old times sake , hell I bring some ramen and we can have lunch in your place. You know that I wouldn't do anything if it wasn't a real emergency

The reply was immediate: OKONOMIYAKI!

Naruto groaned why she was always like this. I can bring both"

A moment passed, and then the response came: Fine, I'll meet you after work. But if this is a prank...

Naruto smiled and typed back, Thank You're a lifesaver

I know

"And with incredible humilty, don't forget it" thought Naruto in his head while he put his phone away. He hoped she could help him figure it out before it caused more trouble.

After finishing his shift, Naruto quickly changed into his civilian clothes. He slipped on a black leather jacket over an orange shirt, paired it with blue jeans, and completed the look with black Converse sneakers.

"It feels so comfy to wear my own clothes again," Naruto said, stretching his arms as he walked down the road. After spending close to two days in his police uniform, the freedom of wearing casual clothes was a welcome change.

When he was a kid, he never understood why adults made such a big deal out of finishing work—always going out for yakiniku, grabbing drinks, or let's go somewhere after. But now that he was an adult, he totally got it.

There was something special about unwinding after a long day.

"Ichiraku Ramen, here I go," he muttered to himself. After the day and night he had been through, a visit to his favorite ramen shop was a must. Plus, he wanted to check on Ayame after that incident with Mizuki.

Naruto could taste the pork and the noodles, the broth, the nori, the soy sauce and all the other parts that made ramen the best food in the world. Just thinking about it make his mouth water, the fact that it was after a long shift make it even better it make him feel like he earned it.

"You're a weird Human"

"You know, for a second there, I actually forgot about you," Naruto muttered back, rolling his eyes.

"It's just food. I don't see why you're making such a big deal about it," the Scarab remarked.

Naruto ignored the comment, focusing instead on the bustling ramen shop ahead. To his surprise, the place was more crowded than usual, especially considering the time. Ichiraku usually hit its peak after work hours, but it seemed like today was different.

He ducked under the familiar awning and stepped inside, his eyes already scanning for a seat.

"Yo, Ayame-nee!" Naruto called out as he took a seat on the familiar stool.

"Oh, Naru-chan! What can I do for you?" Ayame said casually, just like she always did when Naruto visited off-duty.

"A Naruto special with an order of okonomiyaki. To go, please," Naruto replied, his stomach rumbling in anticipation.

"Ara ara. Is Naru-chan going to see someone?" she teased, a sly smirk playing on her lips.

"I wish," Naruto said, feeling a bit disappointed. "Someone is doing me a favor, and I offered to buy her lunch in return. That's all." He sighed, reminding himself that he had only been with two women in his entire life: his high school girlfriend and a girl from the police to his chargrin, he was single at the time .

"Well you never know . You know what they say, the Aigami is always around the corner(6)"

"I hope so," Naruto muttered . He glanced around the packed ramen shop. "Still, what happened to this place? Did you guys have an event or something? I haven't seen it this full in a while."

Ayame chuckled, wiping her hands on her apron. "Oh right... you usually come in the afternoon, so you miss the action. It's because of the new guy we hired. He's a real hit with the young girls—like a customer magnet." She grinned. "They're here for the ramen, sure, but mostly for him."

Naruto raised an eyebrow, a bit curious. "A new guy? What, is he some kind of bishonen ?"

"Kinda, he is an american exchange student. He needed a part time job to help with the "Japanese Experience", So i hired him, He's hardworking, polite, and knows his way around the kitchen. Plus, his tea is amazing! Honestly, I think his cookies and tea alone are half the reason we're getting so many customers. And the best part? He's cheap labor!"

"Ayame-nee every day you're becoming a more ruthless businesswoman" Thought Naruto. "Still do that kind of thing really sell , I mean selling pastries is not what people expect of a ramen shop"

"Ichiraku's way is simple," Ayame said, her tone unexpectedly serious. "The way to earn more money, nothing else."

Naruto blinked, taken aback by her sudden intensity. "Scary," he muttered under his breath,

"But I'm serious , Dick-kun is really good, if you don't believe me try some of his cookies"

"Hey Boss, I finished the order of Ramen and Okonomiyaki" Said suddennly a caucasian leanly muscular man like the one you see in acrobats, he had black hair and blue eyes and he was wearing a white the t-shirt with an apron.

His name was Dick Grayson.(7)

"Good job, Dick-kun. We were just talking about you," Ayame said, smiling as she handed the packed food to Naruto. "Richard, this is Naruto. He's one of our regulars. Naruto, meet Richard Grayson, or as he prefers, Dick-kun."

Richard looked at Naruto with genuine curiosity. "Really? I haven't seen him before."

"I usually go after work," Naruto explained, shaking Richard's hand. "Guess we just had bad luck"

Ayame chuckled. "Well, Naru-chan may not look like one, but he's a cop. So he works some pretty crazy hours."

"Really ? " Said Dick surprised

"Why does everyone always act surprised when they find out I'm a cop," Naruto thought, feeling a bit offended but letting it slide. "It's not that big of a deal, really.Y So, Grayson-san, which part of America are you from?"

Richard chuckled and waved off the formality. "Please, call me Dick. 'Grayson' makes me feel ancient. And I'm from Gotham City."

Naruto's eyes widened slightly, and an involuntary thought crossed his mind: Poor guy.

"Why?" the Scarab asked curiously.

Naruto mentally sighed, knowing he'd have to explain. Let me put it this way: When I was in the academy, we had a whole assignment on Gotham City and the GCPD.

"So?" the Scarab pressed.

"The entire assignment was about ethics", Naruto continued his telepathic conversation with the scarab . "And it was all about what not to do". Naruto was 90% sure that if he does half of the things the average GCPD officer does he will either get fired or be transfered to an outpost in the middle of nowhere , the type you sent a guy when you want to fire him but you can't.

That is the type of place Gotham City was.

"Ooh"

"Yes. Ooh"

"I mean I know Gotham City has a bad rep but is not all bad, they just have a few bad apples" Said Dick trying to downplay it.

"Naruto couldn't help but think, "Yeah, just a few bad apples... in a city known as the capital of corruption and crime in America".

Dick continued, "Well, I got this opportunity to spend a semester abroad in school, and next thing I know, I'm in Tokyo. Incredible city, a little expensive though."

Naruto has to admit Dick has a point the Dollars and Yen have a bad exchange.

"Glad you like the city," Naruto said, giving him a nod. "You should check out some spots when you get a chance—Tokyo Tower, Roppongi, Asakusa, and the shrines. For example " Explained Naruto after all in his job he has multiple time explained to not just foreigners but also japanese tourists some of the most popular spots to visit. Plus he lived his whole life in Tokyo so he thinks he the city knows pretty well. "I know some agencies that would love to give you a tour"

"That sounds great between setting in and work I haven't really had time to go sightseeing"

"Yeah Ayame-nee, says that you're a hard worker . Hell she says that you are a client magnet"

" I'm not that great you should see who taught me how to bake , he is the real master" Said Dick with modesty after all he could never beat Alfred in cooking.

Bruce on the other hand, well the only time he ever saw him cook, he was pretty sure the meat was raw and burnt, the cake was disgusting and kitchen was a disaster.

After that Alfred gave him a lifetime ban in the kitchen.

He even put a sign.

Well, I'd love to stay and chat, but if I don't go I'll miss my train. Thanks for the food, Ayame-nee, Dick-san." He gave a slight bow, paid for his meal, and grabbed the bags before heading out.

"He seems like a nice guy," Dick said, before returning to work. He was almost done with his shift, which meant he could finally focus on the real reason he came to Japan.

"Rise and shine, trash. It's lunchtime," a guard sneered as he walked past. Two other guards followed, carrying a tray of food toward the cell. The prisoner inside stirred, glaring at the guards as they approached. "You know the drill"

"D-14"

"Here"

"D-15"

"Here"

"D-16," the guard called out, pausing in front of the final cell. Silence. The guard banged his baton against the bars. "I said, D-16!"

Dosu glared him at least. he wasn't still chained to the bed, some guards unchained him a few hours after meeting with Rasa, still they left the straightjacket on. Still he hated being caged and humilliated "Wouldn't you at least unchain me or would you want me to eat like a dog"

The guard sneered at Dosu, ignoring his glare. "Like a dog, huh? You're lucky we even feed you at all," he shot back. "Besides, you earned this, didn't you?" He banged the baton against the bars one more time.

One of the younger guards shifted uneasily, glancing at his colleague. "Maybe we should unchain him," he mumbled, unsure.

"You know what this guy did. He murdered his whole family in an act of arson, then he went in a rampage across the country killed anyone who dared too look him funny. He is not a person. He is an animal, a wild dog. A dogs like that deserve to be chained or put down"

Dosu just look at him the tension was so deep that it could be cut with a knife.

Dosu stared down the guard "You realize how pathetic you truly are, don't you? I can see right through you—you're nothing but a coward." His words were calm, but each one hit like a punch, laced with contempt.

The senior guard's face twisted in anger, his knuckles tightening around the baton. "You little—"

Dosu cut him off, his tone dark and mocking. "I've seen hundreds like you. Weak, sniveling cowards pretending to be powerful. All to feel like you matter—like your miserable, lonely life isn't as empty as it really is. Because deep inside you know I'm strong and you are weak, so you try to put me at a level lower than you , to see me grovel at your feet " He leaned forward slightly, his eyes gleaming with a chilling intensity. "It's pathetic."

Dosu's words hung in the air, cold and devoid of remorse, as though he were recounting a mundane event. His tone was unsettlingly calm. "You want to know why I killed my family? It's simple, really. They vexed me. Just that," he said, as casually as if he were talking about the weather.

The younger guard's face paled in horror. "You killed your whole family... because they were annoying?" His voice wavered, disbelief clear in his tone.

"Yes." Dosu leaned back, seemingly at ease now, his expression almost bored. "My father was a salaryman, spending his days groveling at the feet of his bosses for a few pennies. My mother cared more about the neighbors' opinions than about her own family. And my little brother... a sniveling coward who couldn't even throw a punch." Dosu paused, his eyes narrowing. "All of them were trash. Spineless, gutless trash, however I always knew what I am to my core ."

Dosu's body began to tremble, the vibrations growing stronger with each passing second. The tension in the room skyrocketed, as if the air itself had grown thick with menace. The younger guard stepped back instinctively, his eyes widening as he watched Dosu.

"I was born to fight," Dosu continued, his voice eerily steady despite the tremors running through him. "And I'm tired of pretending otherwise. "

As Dosu's words hung in the air, His body began to glow with a menacing purple light, emiting an energy around him that destroyed his bindings , echoing the vibrations coursing through him.

The guards exchanged anxious glances, their bravado quickly evaporating in the face of the ominous display. The younger guard stumbled back further, heart racing, as he felt an instinctive urge to flee.

"What the hell is happening?" he whispered, voice trembling.

"This is different," Dosu said, his voice smooth and taunting. He knew he had felt strange after the fight with the Scarab, but right now, he felt like a god. His powers had never felt stronger; he could hear the heartbeat of everyone in the prison—two hundred forty-five people, not bad, he could feel the subtle changes in sound.

Hell he was blind compared to how he felt now

Just one tiny detail first.

With a swift motion, Dosu's hand reached toward his neck, and he unleashed a small sonic wave, aimed directly at the bomb that Rasa and his men had used as a leash all this time. The air rippled around him, vibrating with an energy that resonated with his fury.

And all of this without those gauntlets he been using all those years

"Prisoner D-16 RETURN TO YOUR CELL INMEDIATELY!" Said a squad of guards pointing their rifles that just entered the secure wing of the prison.

Dosu looked at them and he just smiled. He found the perfect guinea pigs for his new powers.

"What about NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" .And with just one scream, the air around him vibrated, and he unleashed a torrent of sound waves that surged forward, solidifying into constructs that took the form of a purple spike that passed through the guards, killing them instantly.

"Solid sound ehh, I could get used to this" He said watching the corpses of the guards falling to the floor completely unconcious. He turned slowly, surveying the rows of cells, where prisoners huddled against the bars, their eyes wide with terror. Some whispered among themselves, while others remained silent, paralyzed by the spectacle they had just witnessed. Dosu could feel their fear radiating toward him like a wave, and it only served to heighten his sense of control.

He forgot how good it feel to be at the top once again.

Dosu walked straight with one of the walls and gave him a light tap and then he smiled , it was connected to the outside . Then dosu pulled his right arm and he throw a punch straight to the wall launching one of his sonic cannons just like he did a thousand of times.

Dosu's fist slammed into the wall, and a powerful sonic wave followed the strike, erupting outward with a thunderous roar. The solid surface vibrated violently before shattering, chunks of concrete and steel crumbling away like dust. The blast created a gaping hole in the side of the prison, revealing the outside world for the first time in what felt like an eternity.

The cold night air rushed in, mixing with the stale atmosphere of the prison, carrying with it the scent of freedom.

"The prisoners pressed against their bars, desperate voices rising in a cacophony of fear and hope. "Hey, let us out!" one shouted, his eyes wide and pleading.

"We'll do anything you want!" another chimed in, a mix of desperation and enthusiasm coloring his tone.

"Don't leave us here!" echoed a third voice, trembling with anxiety.

He glanced back at the prisoners who were now pressed against the bars, eyes wide with a mixture of awe and hope. For a brief moment, Dosu considered what it would be like to let them out, to have them follow him, a small army at his command. But then he dismissed the thought. He didn't need followers. He needed only power, and right now, his strength was more than enough.

"You really think you could be useful to me?" he said, his voice laced with condescension. "You can't even save yourselves."

With that, he turned away from the prisoners, stepping through the jagged opening he had created.

He saw to the floor it was a great fall and even if his body survived the impact, it would still hurt a lot. Maybe it was a good time to experiment with his new power

With a deep breath, he concentrated, channeling the raw sonic energy of the prisoners pleads for aid and with that magnificent wings spread from his back, unfurling like a great purple banner against the night sky.

He flexed the wings experimentally, feeling their power resonate through him. They felt solid yet weightless, an extension of his will. The sound hummed with a rhythmic pulse, vibrating in harmony with his heartbeat.

"Now this is more like it," he said with a grin, feeling invincible. And with that he flew from his spot into the light caused by Tokyo at a distance

Now with this power neither the Scarab user nor Rasa , they will learn why nobody can mess with Dosu Kinuta.

No...

Dosu Kinuta was a man that bowed against pieces of shit like Rasa. No he was something else...

He was Soundwave god of sound and no one will ever stop him ever again

I DECIDED TO DIVIDE THIS CHAPTER IN 2 PARTS PRINCIPALLY BECAUSE I REALIZED THAT IF i WRITE THE FULL CHAPTER I HAD PLAN IT WOULD BE SOMETHING LIKE 15 K WORDS AND I PREFER SHORTER CHAPTERS . Please Review that give me strength to continue writing, also like I always say my ear is open to suggestions

(1): I use the term superhuman instead of Meta-human because this is set before Young Justice Invasion so no one really knows much about the Meta-gene. Anyway Super-human means any humans with abilities outside normal men like magic , cyborg and Metas. Naruto is at the limit because of how connected he is to the scarab but the scarab is tech anyway. Naruto is pretty much seen as a Cyborg

(2): Also Nap rooms is not something i made up some police stations use them when their officer can't return home for X reasons and they are needed in a long shift (though i'm not sure if they are used in the US), fire stations have something similar..

(4) : I kinda wanted to contrast how Naruto and Kurama are different than Jaime and Khaji-da. Naruto sees Kurama more as a person (a rude one) , while Jaime see Khaji-da more like tech. Also I kinda wanted them to have some Old Married couple like vibe, kinda like Eddie and Venom of the Venom movies

(3) Why Dosu doesn't recognize Naruto just like I said he didn't really care much about him beside that he was a cop and even then that was more of a uniform thing.

Also japanese cops doesn't have nametags like americans do.

(5): Kachou means Chief. Iruka is the police box chief, so he is Naruto direct superior but he is not the Station chief who is another character.

(6): Aigami means love god .:

(7): Naruto type of women is one that can kick his as. Just saying

(8): Why i choose Dick out of all members of the team, I think he represent more of the american dc superhero world that any other, he is the original Sidekick he been in the life more time than most members of the league, he is a detective and is probably the most well know except maybe for Wally. Also he is probably the most famous superhero that was also a Police officer though the principal difference is that at his core Dick was a superhero first a Cop second while Naruto is a cop first a hero second. -
