DEFEAT

The three started to walk closer to each other menacingly. The one with its dark eyes and red pupils stares Rookie and Rosey down like a traffic light.

"What kind of sick things do you have in this head of yours?" Rookie asked.

"I think we all have small parts of our imaginations that have dark sides you know." She responded. "It's something we all have to deal with. I've had a few... episodes in the past, but I know it's something I have had to learn to work with. Unfortunately. It has affected one of your friends."

"SNT..." Rookie thought of her while looking at the abomination. "I can't imagine what she may be going through right now in that head of hers. But I know... we can get her back."

"Let's just cut to the chase shall we?!" The monster's head tilted in an odd direction and pulled out a knife and darted towards Rookie. The wolf grabbed the being's arm and pushed back on it to keep the blade from leaving its mark. "Haha! Get it... CUT!? It's not like it's going to leave any damage! Your fur is red anyway! You won't even notice the difference!"

Rosechu used Take Down

"Get off of him!" The electric hedgehog Pokemon charged at the abomination with immense speed tackling it while both of them rolled on the dark floor facing each other. A tingling feeling started to ripple up Rosey's arms. When she looked down, she noticed the monster smiling with its irregular teeth as electric waves started to infect her.

"AAAAAAHHHH!" Rosey had no choice but to fall to the ground next to her adversary. Unable to move all that much.

Rosechu became Paralyzed

"Looks like your little emotions will not let you move," RoseNT noted. "The fact that I am a part of you makes it so my attacks have more of an effect."

"I just wanted to protect Rookie!" the pokemon admitted.

"That was kinda stupid of you to do that," RoseNT laughed. "Especially someone who has worked against your own race."

"What... what are you saying?" Rosey questioned.

RoseNT picked up the knife she dropped when Rosechu tackled her and poked at the edge. "Well, Rosey... let's just say... The fact that your 'true and honest' worked against your family and your friends. It's making your old relations... kinda complicated!"

"Try complicating THIS!" Rookie surprised RoseNT when she looked behind her to notice Rookie holding a green weapon.

HOVER
A shockwave emanated in front of him and hit RoseNT causing her to fly into the distance. Rookie took his grapple and grabbed onto the flying boss and ran the other way. Pulling her back into his line of sight. Then he pulls the rope in front of him slamming her into the ground.

CUBE

Rookie suddenly carrying a large hammer, tries slamming it on top of the fusion monster. The monster caught the attack and held it back with her own hands. This caused a shockwave as the ground collapsed below her feet making a crater.

"Rookie!" said a familiar voice.

"S... SNT!" the red wolf recognized.

"Stop Rookie... you're... you're hurting me!" When Rookie looked at his adversary, he noticed SNT struggling against the attack trying to hold back all of the force she was putting into it."I don't know how much more I can take!"

Rookie's eyes started watering as overwhelming emotion started taking over his body. He knew on the inside that his best friend and former crush was there, but he didn't know if he was hurting her or helping her. Rookie started to ease off some of the pressure he put into his attack.

But suddenly, SNT turned back into and pushed the hammer causing the wolf to lose his balance and fall onto his back. He dropped his hammer behind him. RoseNT laughed maniacally. Rookie could only sit there and watch her step closer.

"Rookie, Rookie, Rookie!" RoseNT clicked her lips, beckoning him closer like one would call a little puppy. "Trying to be the hero, I see! How noble of you!"

"AAAAAAHHHH!" RoseNT delivered a powerful kick to Rookie's face, causing him to be sent flying through the air and land in a different spot on the ground. He clutched his pointy nose, wincing at the blood trickling out of it.

"Unfortunately, you have one weakness, my dear Rookie. One little weakness that every little puppy like you possesses. Your love for SNT is like a dog's love for his owner!"

"No! It's not like that at all! We're just good friends!" Rookie retorted. "SNT has been an inspiration to me since we first met. She's taught me so much about myself."

RoseNT chuckled, her voice laced with scorn. "Do you truly believe that, little pup? You're no hero, just dwelling in the shadows of your brother's spotlight, forever unable to reach his level and bask in your own glory. You're like a little puppy, endlessly chasing its own tail. How utterly pathetic!"

"No... it's not true! I'll prove it to you!" Rookie pulled out another Wispon and swiftly whipped it at RoseNT. "Take this!" The crackling whip lashed across a part of her face, but its impact seemed minimal.

As the whip returned to strike her once again, RoseNT transformed back into SNT. "Rookie, stop! You're hurting me!" SNT's pleading voice resonated, but Rookie struggled to control his emotions.

The whip struck SNT, sending her crashing to the ground. Overwhelmed with guilt, Rookie rushed to her side. "SNT! I'm sorry... I didn't mean to!"

In a swift transformation, SNT reverted back to RoseNT, her anger evident as she delivered a powerful punch to Rookie's gut. "Oh, Rookie honey, sometimes love hurts!"

grabbed Rookie's body and threw it into the air. "Did you know Rookie, according to all laws of aviation, there is no way that a wolf like you should be able to get off of the ground! That is because..."

Rookie lands on RoseNT's fist! "You can't fly in the first place!"

"That... that was so stupid!" Rookie said to himself. SNT doesn't say sass like that... does she?

Rosechu felt the grip of her paralysis slowly fading, her willpower pushing through the barriers that held her back. With newfound strength, she charged towards RoseNT, her heart filled with a fierce resolve to protect Rookie.
Rosechu used Giga Impact

"HIIIIIIYAAAAAA!" A bright light engulfed Rosechu's body as she suddenly dashed forward into RoseNT's body, blowing her to the side. "Rookie are you ok?"

Rookie shook off the pain and tried to act like it never happened. "I think I'm ok!"

Rosechu needs to Recharge

Bolts of lightning started falling from the sky above. Rosechu grabbed Rookie from behind and pushed him to the ground. She pointed her tail into the sky to attract the lightning to her. The bolt hit her but she guided the lightning around Rookie.

"Rosechu!"

"I'm fine, don't worry about me! You're the one who doesn't know how to harness the power of electricity," she said. "I'm just protecting you!"

"Aww, ain't that just romantic!?" RoseNT pretended to cry before trying to strike a blow with her legs. Rookie slapped it away. It caused him to lose her balance.

"Rookie take control! I need some time to recharge!" Rosechu admitted.

"How long do you need?" Rookie asked.
"Just give me some time. I need you to distract her-"

Rookie confidently sat there, "Sure I can-"

"For 30 seconds! Considering the fact how much she was kicking my butt... just be careful... please!"

"Rosechu... I don't-!" *SLAM!*

RoseNT used Body Slam

RoseNT bounced on Rookie's head but Rookie knowing that he needed to protect Rosey used the momentum of her attack to flip her upside down.
VOID

The universe around RoseNT seemed to collapse in on her. Rookie pointing a Void wispon at her caused a small black hole to appear next to her. But before the monster could get sucked in!

RoseNT uses Hyper Beam

Rookie feels the energy suddenly engulfing his body forcing him to drop to the ground. RoseNT starts breathing hard to try and regain her energy.

RoseNT needs to Recharge

Rosechu shot up and used it to her advantage!

Rosechu used Thunder Punch

KAKROOM!* It was a critical hit. An explosion went up blowing all of the fighters off of the three original spots. Rookie who was less ready few back a few feet as Rosechu only moved a few inches back.
Rosechu used Volt Tackle

Another direct hit on RoseNT. She slid back and then jumped back towards her clone.

"Nice try, Rosechu, but you'll need more than that to defeat me," RoseNT mocked, a condescending smirk etched on her face. Then she got up.

RoseNT used Close Combat

Punches started to be thrown at a million miles per hour completely covering Rosechu in a cloud of smoke. It didn't seem to want to end.

When the attack ended. Rosechu found herself floating in the air.

"And! Snap!"

RoseNT used Aerial Ace

She flew in a figure 8 around Rosechu and did two slices while passing through her.

Rosechu used Shockwave!

POW!* Another explosion rained out from her causing RoseNT to fall towards Rookie who was now standing.

RoseNT noticing where she was going to land turned back into SNT. "Catch me, Rookie!"

Rookie hesitated for a moment, feeling conflicted by SNT's plea and the presence of RoseNT. He glanced at Rosechu, who met his gaze.

"Rookie! You need to fight your emotions. Don't be charmed by her!" Rosechu shouted, her voice filled with urgency.

Rookie started to cry a little inside trying to fight SNT's charming abilities. When he did that as SNT was about to hit him Rookie put his hand into a fist and punched her in the stomach.

This SNT reverted back into RoseNT and she rolled and bounced on the ground almost like a ragdoll. "I won't fall for your tricks, RoseNT."

"Ah, it seems that the dog has finally learned about the little shock collar around his neck! I guess an old dog like you can learn new tricks," RoseNT turned back into SNT and tried to make herself look as seductive as possible! "Is it?"

Rookie started to once again feel the charming aura that SNT has been giving off for years. It was hard for any boy to resist. Like a succubus was coming for his soul.

Rosechu ran up to Rookie and grabbed his hand and stood firm. "Your little trick on him won't work anymore now that I am here!"

"Oh please Rosechu, give me a break! You know very well at the end of the day that I am a part of you. I represent your darkest days and darkest nights. Everyone has me hidden in their head somewhere." RoseNT announced. "You have thrown away your life of luxury with Sonichu to live with Rookie and SNT. Look at them! SNT's power is now mine, and Rookie is weaker than a fly. Your little life was perfect and suddenly you chose to throw it all away!"

"That is where you are wrong!" Rosey responded. "My life was hell... I just didn't realize it until my eyes started opening up. When I took the red pill as they say! Sonichu treated me like an object. Someone who was only there to make him look good. But there was a time when I was with a friend who truly cared for me. That was the world SNT helped introduce into my life. And I want to be in that world."

"Well too bad, so sad!" RoseNT responded. "The SNT you all know and love is dead! She is a part of me now. And there is nothing that you can do to save her. You don't have that power, nor that red fly you hold in between your hands right now! He is a second-rate hero who has almost no experience fighting in a war. He doesn't have any powers like you and I do. Or SNT for that matter!"

Rookie stood his ground, a surge of courage flowing through him. "I may not have all the powers or experience, but I have something more important: a genuine bond with SNT, Rosechu, and all of my friends. I believe in them to help me through every challenge. Even if you are controlling SNT's body, I know she is in there somewhere. I have first- hand experience with that. And we will save her!"

That was when Rosechu and Rookie nodded at each other and they both punched the enemy in two places. "OHHH!" RoseNT yelled. Rosechu lifted Rookie up as he grabbed another wispon out of his belt. Rosechu charged him up with her electrical power and allowed him to jump onto RoseNT with immense speed!

POW* RoseNT wasn't able to defend herself against that attack. It caused her to become electrically charged with Rosechu's energy.

Rosechu walked up to an almost paralyzed RoseNT, "It's true, you may live in my mind and Sonichu may have created you. But I can't let you run my life anymore. I have control over my own mind now no matter what Sonichu or Chris Chan says about it! And now I know what is right and what is wrong. I have made new friends and I intend to save them!"

"Your special friend is gone! There is nothing you can do!" RoseNT responded, "She is a part of me now!"

Rosechu thought to herself, "There are powers Chris Chan gave to me... some of them are almost god-like but I don't think I have ever been allowed to use them... I am supposed to be the trophy after all. There is a move that SNT used against my father that separated him from another god... To save her... I need to try and imitate that move!"

Rosechu used Copycat

"Rookie... Please try and hold on to me! I need your power."

Rookie was a little confused about that statement at first because in reality, he didn't have any powers. But then he realized Rosechu didn't want his power, she needed his strength of will. He wasn't going to deny her that. Rookie holds onto her arm.

"Oh no you don't!" RoseNT put her arms in the air.

Lightning once again crashes down from the sky. But Rosechu only holds her tail in the air and absorbs the power.

Rookie could feel the energy from the attack but for some reason, It wasn't hurting him. Rosechu's power protected him but there was something else that was being shared between them. Is it a virus... it could be him getting sick... or was it a feeling?

Rosechu's arm lights up in electrical and dark power. She begins to step forward. "SNT... I'm coming to save you... just like you did with me!"

Rosechu used Shadow Punch

Rosechu steps towards RoseNT and takes her fist and it phases through her stomach. RoseNT's body suddenly became two as SNT popped out from the punch. and SNT were now once again separate.

SNT landed on the ground completely knocked out and oblivious of what was happening.

, now completely helpless without SNT's power, was now staring at her like she was begging for mercy. "Please let me live! I'll do what you want. I'll make your bed, I will help you find love... whatever that means."

Rosechu proudly stood before her.,"Hey little wannabe Rosey, it's time to turn the page. It looks like your reign of darkness is about to be zapped out of existence! Sonichu or Chris have no control over my thinking anymore, and it's time to take out the trash. Starting with you! Gizmo... shall we?"

Rookie once again holds Rosechu's hand. Rookie felt power flow through the both of them as magnetic forces from Rosechu's electricity caused them both to levitate. "Get your lightning wispon. Let's give her our final attack!"

It was just like that when suddenly their minds were on the same wavelength as both of them spun their arms around. The air starts to charge up around them and electricity swirls around them both.

With only Rosechu able to completely harness the power. Rookie holds onto her back and lets her take the lead. "You got this Rosey!"

She nodded. Both of them close their eyes and share their power between each other.

"No! You can't do this! Not NOW! I AM A PART OF YOU AND YOU CAN'T CHANGE THAT!" cried in fear.

Rosechu and Rookie used Giga-Volt Havoc

KAKROOM!* A loud bang rained out crashing through all of the surroundings and breaking the floor everyone was on. Rosechu and Rookie pointed her fist at her adversary causing a direct hit on .

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" The monster faded out of existence as the lightning disappeared Leaving nothing in its wake.

DEFEATED

Rosechu and Rookie land on the ground. Both of them help each other up and then run towards SNT to check to see if she is ok.

"S...SNT!" Rookie held her in his arms lifting her up. "Come on... you got to wake up!"

Rosey looked at SNT who seemed to struggle with breathing. "She doesn't look too hot."

"Oh gosh... Did... did I really hurt her?" Rookie asked. "I didn't mean to...I-!"

"I know what you are thinking, we did what we could. Even when the odds were against us. We were able to save her. I'm sure she would understand despite the damage. We have both known her for a very long time."

Rookie nodded. At that moment. A small shine in SNT's eyes started to show themselves. Her vision was blurry but could still make out the two silhouettes. "...Rookie... Rosey... is that... you?"

Both of them give the special girl a big hug. "Oh SNT... Everything will be ok. We have each other!" Rosey said.

"I'm just happy to see you again," Rookie admitted.

SNT, after all of the sadness she felt throughout this whole ordeal suddenly felt a sense of comfort and warmth when both of them hugged her. But, there was still something that was bothering her.

The only way to escape... is death

Those words still haunted her. She felt that it had a deeper meaning but it made her depressed just thinking about it. She tried not to think about it too much.

The world around them started to be surrounded by a golden veil. The magic around them made them glow. It felt warm and familiar.

"Is this... Elise's doing?" Rookie recognized.

"I think it could be a combination of Cas and Elise working together. They are the only ones who know how to control it on the island," SNT explained.

The 3 of them began to shine. Everything around them went white as they suddenly disappeared.

...

"Do you think the spell worked?" said a faint voice.

"You wrote it. I expect that you know what you are doing."

"Well, I experiment a lot with different spells. When I tried a new spell the other day, Rookie almost died. Whoopsie!"

"Well... based on what I am seeing... it seems to have worked."

SNT started to open up her eyes, the bright light from a lantern made it hard for her to see until her eyes completely adjusted. She moaned a little bit like she was being woken up for school.

"Hey... SNT is waking up?"

The hybrid opened her eyes to see Cas and Princess Elise standing before her.

" ... you're ok... how was your sleep?" Elise smiled.

"What... what happened?" the blue hybrid asked. When she looked around, she found herself on her bed next to Rookie and Rosey. She was between the 2 of them. Both of them are still knocked out.

"You have fought well... I didn't think that you were all that much of a force to be reckoned with until I saw you fight earlier today," Elise admitted. She was sitting on her bed in the palace. Night has already befallen outside of the room. "I guess I am starting to get to know you better. But because of your humble efforts today. This island is in debt to you."

"Oh... um." The blue creature didn't know what to say in response. "It's... it's fine, I'm just doing what Sonic would do in a situation like this. I fight to the bitter end."

"All three of you should be more careful. You all almost died," Cas admitted.

Rookie started to move a little bit, his ears twitch in response to the many voices around. When he opened his eyes. He found himself looking right at SNT's eyes.

"Rookie!" The hybrid gave the wolf a big hug. "I am so happy to see you alive and well."

"Oh... S... what just happened. Are you ok?" he asked.

SNT looked around and at Rosechu "... I think... I think we are going to be ok! We just had a horrible dream."

"I think there is more to it than that," Cas looked at Rosey. "It seems that the evil energy that was put inside Rosechu has gone away."

All of the characters sitting in the room looked at the electric hedgehog Pokemon in silence for a second. SNT quickly sympathizes, "I felt every emotion that girl has gone through for who knows how long. And for a brief time, I succumbed to it. I may have only experienced a few hours of what she has felt but... imagine going through that abuse for... years at a time."

Rookie especially looked closely at Rosey as she breathed deeply in slumber. It seemed that her body was still trying to recover from all of the intensity she just went through.

"Ms. Rosechu will probably survive. It's just her body has gone through many changes over the past days or so that it's taken a lot of energy from her. At this point, she is in a minor coma. But she should be awake soon," Elise diagnosed.

"In case of that, Rosechu can stay here. I will be right by her side when she wakes up!" SNT insisted.

"But SNT, you got bruised up pretty bad too. I insist that you have to get more rest," Cas said.

SNT held out her palm. "No... it's ok... you all have worked pretty hard for all of us. Please, get some sleep."

"SNT... I... I want to stay with you too," Rookie insisted.

"Rookie..."

Elise and Cas looked at each other for a moment to see if they would agree. They both nodded. "Alright, but please, don't hesitate to wake me up when you need something."

"It's 1 in the morning... I'm already staying here for the night. So I will also be close by," Cas admitted.

"Alright, thank you both for your help!" SNT smiled.

Cas and Elise start leaving the room. Elise before closing the door looked back at everyone and smiled.

Rookie and SNT both leave the bed and place Rosey in the middle of it. Then cover her up. Both of them sit on separate cushions on the other side of the room.

"Rookie..." SNT called out.

"Hmm?"

"I want to let you know something that I believe is important. I recognize that you work so hard for my sake." She admitted. "I admire that about you."

"Oh... I'm just protecting you. That is what a true hero should do after all."

"I appreciate that... Thank you... you will become that hero you always wanted to be. The only thing I am concerned about... is your own safety." SNT noted, "The job sometimes requires you to get hurt but I don't want you to lose your life over it. Just... make sure every once in a while... you take care of yourself."

"Ok... I... I will."

"Thank you, thank you for your help. I don't know what I could have done without you... In fact, I don't think I would have gone through her mind by myself without you. You are a great friend, and an even greater hero." SNT spoke up.

"Thanks..." Rookie looked down at himself blushing as SNT's aura was starting to seep out of her a little. The amount of times SNT complimented him made him blush a little but he didn't want her to look at his face too deeply.

"As soon as Rosey wakes up... let's give her all of the support that she needs," SNT smiled.

Rookie looked at the sleeping Rosechu on the bed. "...Alright."

SNT looked at herself sitting on the cushion and then she entered deep thought. That was such a hard battle... Her face turned to a neutral as she remembered something. Why... Why would I stab myself? Was... was that all just in Rosechu's inner thoughts I was feeling?

She proceeded to look at Rosechu deeply. The soothing sound of her breathing started to relax her a little bit. She looked like she was sleeping like a baby, trapped deep in her crib.

SNT smiled, relaxing herself to know that Rosechu was going to be in safe hands. Knowing all of that, she began to drift into a deep slumber.

Rookie was already snoring away when SNT got one last glance at him, only for that to be the last thing that she remembers.

An hour later, Rosechu started to slightly open her eyes and yawn. The only thing that she could hear was the soothing sounds of familiar breathing within the room. When she lifted herself off of the pillow, she noticed the two sleeping on the cushions just next to the bed.

Seeing SNT alive and well gave her a sign of relief but looking at Rookie on the other hand gave her a sense of confusion. She was starting to get a warm feeling. It's a feeling that she has felt before but she didn't want to believe it.

To make sure that she doesn't get too excited, she quickly shifted her body to look at the empty side of the room and took a few deep breaths. She looked at her hands to see if she reverted back to her old form. All of those old feelings Sonichu gave her were almost gone. She didn't feel his presence anymore.

She couldn't help but think back to her time training with Kel just traveling on the road with her for many years. With the help of her friends, she was able to help overcome it. And Rookie and SNT showed what Kel always told her.
"It might be a little tough. Don't give up!"

Rosechu smiled to herself and relaxed as she fell back to sleep.

...

"Sonichu!"

"Ah! Oh my gosh you scared me! Don't you ever knock, Wild?"

"Um... Sonichu... There is no Door." Wild Sonichu and Sonichu were in the middle of an empty field they didn't recognise. "But that doesn't matter! We have other problems! Look at me!"

Sonichu looked down to see Wild's body becoming more transparent with his surroundings.

"Wild Sonichu! Oh no... this isn't good. It looks like you're starting to fade away too. You must have used too much of that leftover power," the pokemon admitted. "We are running out fast."

"Is... is this really the end?" Wild asked, "Why did we give the Sonichu Ball power to SNT? That was the only thing keeping us all alive, Sonichu!"

Sonichu grabbed his arm, "Wild, I promise! Everything will be way past cool. There is a reason why we are doing it. I know it's hard to believe but sometimes you have to make sacrifices to be a true hero! Just like father!"

"Is that why Rosechu isn't with you anymore?" Wild asked.

Sonichu cried a little when he said that, "I can't see those kids I loved that she helped birth but eventually once everything falls into place. We will be able to see everyone again. Including my father. My lovely sweetbolt will return once everything falls into place. And once we have what we need... we can 'celebrate' all night."

"Will we be able to bring back Simona and Sandy?" Wild asked.

"Huh... What... who is that?" Sonichu looked puzzled.

"SONICHU! THAT'S MY WIFE, How could you forget?" Wild asked.

"Oh... How could I forget that! I don't think I met your wife dude... Eeh... it's fine. Once the plan goes through. You can bring back whoever you want to bring back," Sonichu responded.

"FINALLY!" Wild laughed to himself. "I can finally have revenge on the one who killed my daughter. Once the power comes back to us. I can't wait to make that portal to the real world and find what we are looking for."

"Trust me Wild... everything is going according to plan. SNT has collected 3 of the Sonichu Balls and now has the Master Sunstone within her possession. The plan is working. I promise I will save all of us. And when we do, we can rebuild our father's dream. The Dimensional Merge will return in full swing."

Both Wild and Sonichu laughed at each other looking at the night sky knowing that they were going to be fine.

Meanwhile, just watching over the distance. A purple female hedgehog with black clothes on was observing what the two were doing. "Hmm... I wonder what's happening here?"
