Chapter 5 I discover more about my heritage
Gemma's pov
"Hello Gemma Lily Potter, do you know why you are here?" Asks the god standing in front of me. Hades is right in front of me.
I blink at him wait didn't I just get kidnapped.
"How, why, what" I stammered witch was unusual for me. Hades hesitated before motioning for me to follow him, I hesitated but decided to follow because I didn't want to upset a powerful god like Hades.
We entered a surprisingly comfortable room, there were lots of rugs and padded chairs with pillows. Hades asked me to sit and I reluctantly obliged.
"Listen and then ask questions." Hades said, "your mother Lily was my daughter. And through some miracle she was never found or discovered, she never figured it out. When she … umm Apollo, well basically all her genetic god blood, was passed on to you due to the fact that you were already going to be born Apollo's daughter. I don't completely understand how that works.", "anyway you Gemma lily Potter are about 75-80% god, this makes you stronger and more powerful than normal demigods, your demigod sent is about the same as a child of the big three. You should have inherited an ability of mine from your mom, I would guess shadow travailing. And your twin brother is not a demigod he does have the smallest amount of godly blood though enough to enter Camp HalfBlood" he pauses and lets it sink in.
"Wait one more thing he suddenly has something in his hand, a ring. "This ring will turn into a sword that can hurt any being not just monsters, it was meant for your mother but when she never found out what she was I decided I would give it to you, I made a modification to its appearance so that it would feel like you though." Hades placed the snake ring in my palm, it was a silver coil in the shape of an intricately crafted snake, the snake's eye was a beautiful green gemstone, it struck me that those to colours the gemstone and the silver snake where the same two colours as my eyes, one eye silver one eye green.
"Thanks" I breathe
He just nods as I slip the ring on. It fits perfectly."any questions?"
I start to shake my head then stop and ask "what is shadow travel?"
"It is easy really if you are gifted with the ability, you travel from a shadow in one place to a shadow in another." He tells me and we discuss a more and i surprisingly in-joy myself.
When Hades shows me the room I will staying in I have completely let the quest slip my mind.
I see a comfy looking black bed and collapse onto it and pass out.

When I wake up I feel very well rested, I'm about to get up when the last couple days come crashing down on me, I need to talk to Hades. I get out of the bed and realize that I'm still wearing my camp HalfBlood t-shirt, hoodie, shorts, and combat boots. The clothes I put on at the start of the quest.
I do a sweep of the room, there is the big black bed, wine red walls, a small dark red comfy chair beside a small brown table, and two doors one leads to the rest of the castle?, palace?, fortress?, what do I call this place?
I spot my backpack on the floor, it must have fallen over, I pick it up and pull out all the contents, a green t-shirt with a silver snake on it, a pair of black shorts, my compact bow, 10 silver painted arrows, 2 ambrosia squares, one smushed sandwich, small green hairbrush, and a green water bottle (with a drop of water in it).
I pull my sage hoodie off along with my shorts and exchange them for the clean ones I have, I brush my red hair out and Dutch braid it all the way down my back.
After feeling I look relatively cleaned up I go over to the door i entered the room through yesterday, I step out into the hallway and smell food, I slowly follow the smell hoping to find Hades so I can ask him about the quest I should be on.
I walk towards the smell until I find myself in the same room as me in Hades talked in before, I see a plate with scrambled eggs and a sausage on it, I walk over to it and sit down on a chair.
I don't know if I should touch it Hades was nice but what if he was just tricking me to get information about the quest. "You can eat it" says a Male voice and on instinct I swipe out my knife, I stopped when I see that my attacker is well not an attacker, "fast reflexes" says Hades calmly.
I Open my mouth to ask about the quest, but he beats me to it. "The Quest is continuing and your friends will reach us soon. He pauses, "You look so much like your mother."
I pause before answering, "thanks?"

The sky stays the same down here so I don't know how long it has been but over the next little while I stay in the underworld and yes I learn how to shadow travel, Hades makes it clear to me that I am not to tell anyone about my mom or anything to do with this, I agree.
On this morning I think it's morning I wake up to a knocking at my door, "your friends were just here and then they left, but they are coming back from you," Hades says before strolling off down the hallway.
I glare at his retreating figure and decide against shouting at him, during my time here he has basically ignored me, only speaking to me if he wanted me to do or not do something.
I returned to my bed and fell asleep.
