Chapter 1: The Red Temple

So, here I am. A bed of silver flowers beneath me, alongside a strewn path of brick road, all leading into what seems to be a temple plastered in black and red. Above me, I could see the hole that Frisk would usually fall into, confirming that this was the underground. But it also wasn't the same underground. There were no purple-clad ruins here. Nothing was destroyed either. The temple was in pristine condition. This can only mean that where I have ended up is a completely new and unexplored world. This means there will be new things to explore. Usually, my first thought would be immediate genocide. But why not mix it up a bit and explore what the other routes have first? I'll save genocide for the grand finale.

I think first, what I should do, is explore True Pacifist as my first route, as much as it pains me to do so. I'm going to hate being buddy-buddy with the new comedian, but my hatred must wait until it's time to slaughter. Who knows, maybe I can make some new friends... After that thought, I knew what to do next. I had to proceed. Getting up, I noticed the first new interaction in this new world. Flowey didn't appear. He isn't even here... This revelation excites me. Maybe, the whole world has been reset fully, back to when I was the first human. If that's true, then that must mean...

ASRIEL!

I ran as fast as I could into the temple. Unsurprisingly, no traps were awaiting me. After all, if the world has been reset fully, then that means what the ruins would be would have no traps since those only came in after the shenanigans me and Azzy did. But there is always a cost to different. The Temple was a maze to me now. Every path was new. I easily got lost in my sense of direction, encountering dead end after dead end. Strangely enough though, was the oddness of there being no monster encounters. Not even a single one. Perhaps they all were somewhere else? I'll have to figure that out later. For now, I have to remain focused. After enduring more of the maze I was in, I finally reached the center where the old home used to be. And as I expected, amongst the only path forward was a singular house, with a single stone door being the entrance... This was it. It was time to see if, after all of this time, I would finally see Asriel again. After a bit of hesitation, I knocked on the door, which was surprisingly hollow. After a while, a familiar voice came through.

"One moment!"

The voice sounded exactly like Toriels. But as the door opened, my heart sank a little. The one who answered was not Toriel. Instead, it was a deer-like monster lady with light brown fur, cream indents, and white dot markings within patches of darker brown fur. Her hair was a stunning blonde and she was wearing a nice black and blue skirt onesie with black straps on her shoulder holding its top up. Finally, there were visible wood-colored horns that resembled branches. This was certainly someone new...

"Oh dear! A child in these parts of The Underneath?! You must be so lost and scared! Please, do come on in!"

I nodded, not saying a word. This was not Toriel, but she sounded and acted just like her. Something was most certainly not right here, but it was best to save my questions for later. For now, I'll stay at her home for a bit. The layout seemed similar to Old Home. I look to my left and there's another monster over in what seems to be the living room. This one was more masculine than the other, boasting a small blonde beard and spiky blonde hair compared to the wavy hair the other had. He even wore robes that were the same color as her skirt. Once I was spotted by him, he jumped up a bit in shock, and then the deer lady next to me started talking to him.

"Ashton sweetie, we have a new guest with us!"He looked at me with a wide expression on his face."Oh, Valerie dear, what a surprise! A human here in The Underneath? Poor thing must be lost! Tell me, child, what is your name?"So, Valerie and Ashton, huh? Ashton seems to talk and act like Asgore. This cannot be a coincidence. Nonetheless, it was at least customary to introduce myself."My name is Chara. It is nice to meet you both..."These two were almost exactly like Asgore and Toriel. But if that was the case, then that can only mean that-
"Mom, Dad, when is dinner ready?"

That voice... That is one that I know all too well..."Asriel?"

I turned around faster than I ever had, turning over to where I heard his voice. But what I saw was not him. It was again, someone else entirely. Instead of Asriel, it was a small deer child who looked like a combination of Ashton and Valerie. He even had small horn nubs like Azzy. What stuck out the most though, was that he was wearing the same striped sweater that Azzy and me would always wear. This was no longer a coincidence. After seeing him, it all came to me. A new question arrived in my head. Has everyone been reincarnated? That would certainly explain a lot of things. Perhaps the whole underground was even remade. No, don't be like that silly. This is all a game. I wouldn't call it remade. More like RECODED!

But still, I had to persevere. This new character was NOT Azzy. But... He could be the new Azzy. I'll just have to see for myself.
Soon me and him locked eyes. After a bit of a stare-down, he spoke out."Mom, who is this? Are they a new friend?"He pointed at me with curious eyes.
"No sweetie, this is our new guest! Chara, meet my son, Aserie!"Aserie, huh? Almost sounds like Asriel... It even combines Ashton and Valerie like how Asriel combines Asgore and Toriel... So, this is your reincarnation, huh? As I stared at him, I couldn't help but cry. Soon, I found myself running over and hugging him."It's very nice to meet you, Aserie..."Aserie smiled and laughed a bit at the sudden sign of affection."Hey! Mind giving me a bit of personal space?"He was avoiding the idea of pushing me off of him out of kindness. I soon broke the hug."I'm sorry, it's just... You remind me of my best friend in the whole world. He was more of a brother to me though. He was there for me like one too. But, he's gone now..."I almost broke into tears again before Valerie came in and put a loving hand on my shoulder."Oh my! What a sad story my child. But don't fret! You are welcome here for as long as it takes!"I wiped my tears away and thanked her for the hospitality. Soon, the sound of an oven ding came from the kitchen, and my stomach growled with anticipation."Ho ho! Sounds like dessert is ready!"boasted Ashton. And indeed it was, for as soon as my nose caught a whiff of the unmistakable smell of pie, I rushed over to the dining room table and sat down. I honestly did not care if this was going to be snail pie. I'm hungry enough to not be picky. However, to my surprise, it was not snail pie, nor was it cinnamon or butterscotch pie. Instead, it was something entirely new; Lemonberry pie. Using the act menu, I checked out the stats of the pie...

[Heals HP to full, and gives 10 extra attack points]

Holy cheeseballs this was a powerful item! I would have to save this for the new Undyne, or even Sans (assuming he won't just dodge anyway)
"Hey Valerie, would it be okay if I saved a slice for later?"I asked."I don't mind child! Go ahead and do so!"she responded. After receiving permission, I subtly put a slice of lemonberry pie into my inventory for later. Soon, it was time for bed. As I expected, I shared a room with Aserie. I even had the same bed as well. Soon, I would fall asleep. And it didn't take long for the morning to arrive afterward. I woke up with a lot of energy, alongside a new goal to achieve; explore the rest of this new world. But first, I have to leave the temple. But I don't want to leave so suddenly to preserve True Pacifist. So instead, I stayed at least a week in the cozy home of the temple before I left. I made sure to make good friends with the new Dreemurr family. Were their last names even Dreemurr in this world? Well, it didn't matter to me. Soon, I would be at the door to what would be Snowdin. But would it even be Snowdin? Only one way to find out...
Slowly, I opened the door. On the other side, I gasped in awe at the sight before me. There was no snowy forest. Instead, it was an orange forest with orange leaves replacing where snow would be on the ground. So, not Snowdin. Definitely not Snowdin... But that fact only made this even more exciting! Another new area, and possibly a new town as well! Most importantly, I will be meeting the new comedian very soon... That alone made me excited! I wonder what the reincarnated Sans is like... Maybe he's not a skeleton anymore! Only one way to find out. Walking the only path forward, I tread carefully. Soon, the sounds of footsteps crushing leaves behind me. Then, the twigs snapped. The moment was right upon me. Once I was at the start of the bridge, the all too familiar voice sounded from behind me...
