BONUS CHAPTER

A couple of months after they started dating, people have mostly gotten used to it and accepted seeing them together. Most girls still ambushed Sasuke though, ignoring the pink-haired girl. Every time it happened, he would stare at them, irritated, before holding Sakura's hand and walking away. As if to say, "Can't you see her? She's the only one I'm interested in."

Having said that, it seems that Sakura is the only one still not used to it.

Judging from how Sasuke normally acts, he didn't seem the type to initiate any intimate contact. Especially when they are in school or with any people around, for that matter. He seemed so cool and detached from that. But Sakura was so wrong about that.

He would suddenly hold her hand before they cross the street. And he would not let go until they reached her home.

He would tuck in her hair when it got in her face when they were studying. His hand would linger on her cheek, observing how her face would turn red at the contact. She could not explain it, but there was something behind the expression in his eyes that made her melt.

He would lend her his jacket, seeing how she would often get cold. Sometimes, he would reach out for her hands, rubbing them together to keep her warm.

He would listen to her rant about everything and nothing. A content expression on his face as he observed her get riled up over the littlest things.

His name was on her phone, calling her at 1 in the morning on the weekends because he said he wanted to hear her voice.

And of course, the kisses. She was always caught off guard whenever he leaned in for one. Be it after he walks her home, during their study sessions in the library, or their impromptu dates after school. Every time, her brain stops functioning, and she knows she's a blushing mess compared to him.

He really is the perfect boyfriend. It seems like he was experienced and not at all his first time.

They were in the gymnasium after basketball practice when Sakura asked about it, but Sasuke merely stared at her with no explanation. "I'm just following my instinct."

Sakura pouted.

He smirked at the reaction. He just could not help it. All he sees is her.

"It's unfair. How can you be so perfect?" She crossed her arms, her brows slightly furrowed.

Sasuke sighed. "I'm not perfect. No one is."

"But does your heart not race every time? I feel like I'm having a heart attack even just sitting next to you," Sakura admitted.

Sasuke looked away before muttering, "Good. You're not the only one."

Surprised, Sakura observed the back of his neck turn red. She could not help but giggle at the sight.

"Tch. Shut up." Sasuke stood up from his seat, eager to move away from her. Because how could she not see the effect she had on him? And now, he just admitted it out loud.

Sakura caught up to him, still giggling. Feeling confident all of a sudden, she tiptoed and kissed his cheek. "Thank you, Sasuke-kun."

He tried to mask his reaction with his usual unreadable expression. But judging from the charming blush on Sakura's face, he knew he had failed to do so.

"You really are annoying." He whispered before leaning in and kissing her on the lips, thinking that everyone must've already left.

She then put her arms around him, burying her head into his chest. From now on, she will follow her instinct more if it means she'll see that adorable reaction again.

And that's of course the time Naruto emerged from the showers.

"AaaaAaHhhhhHhh ewww! You guys get a room! This is supposed to be for basketball training!" Naruto shouted, attempting to cover his eyes. "You Sasuke bastard! Seducing innocent Sakura-chan! I'll make sure to tell Mikoto-san about this!"

Chaos ensued after that as Sasuke reached out for a ball nearby and aimed for his best friend's head.
