Chapter Four: First Day Of School [...part one...]

Over the few days, Kara and Olive hanged out more and officially started dating on Sunday, August 9th, 2007, he officially asked her to be his girlfriend she happily agreed.

He introduced her to Tommy and Laurel, he wasn't ready for her to meet his other friends because of somethings, when they hung out at his place which was only when his mother and father wasn't around they would stay in his room and talk or if Thea was home Kara would talk with Thea and give her advice.

He was introduced to her friends officially as her boyfriend, Barry threatened him again as Winn was happy for his best friends, Eliza was okay with and promised not to tell Alex or J'onn until Kara was ready, Lois promised the same thing with Clark.

It was now Monday the day they're starting school let's see how that's going.

Danvers household

Monday, August 10th, 2007

6:49 am

Kara was up early, she was only up early when it was school days and she hated it, she did her hair first, she just let it down in a waved style, now was picking out outfits while video chatting with Winn as she chose outfits with his help and they both talked about their relationships.

Winn was dating this boy name Cisco Ramon, he was a nerd just like Winn and enjoyed everything Winn did, they would be the gay IT couple at their school if it was a thing.

"So have you said the L word yet?" Kara asked Winn as she showed him an outfit.

"No," Winn said "To both, we haven't said it yet and that outfit is more like of a country outfit" he commented.

Kara sighed and threw the outfit in the pile that guarded her bed, "Have you and mister Queen said it yet?" Winn asked as she dug in her closet.

"No," Kara said coming out with a new outfit "I mean I don't think he's had a serious relationship to say those words yet and we've only been dating for one day, so we're not actually there yet" she said holding the outfit up to her body to see.

"I know," Winn said "But there are some couples who've said it before they were even dating," he told her "That's the perfect outfit!" he smiled at her.

She smiled; it was a white shirt with the words saying "I woke up like this" in all pink caps and it came with a black skirt, she put on white shoes to go with it, and she was going to take Oliver's jacket to give it back to him.

"So what time is he supposed to be picking you up?" Winn asked.

"Uh...not sure," Kara answered fixing her hair when her phone buzzed "Hold up Winn," she clicked on the text message.

Ollie: Hey, I'm getting Tommy and Laurel first then you if that's okay.

Kara: It's fine! I'm still kind of getting ready.

Ollie: Okay!

"Was it Oliver?" Winn asked "What did he say?"

"He's picking up Tommy and Laurel first," Kara told him "Winn I have to go now, Eliza made breakfast" she said.

"Well see you at school Kar!"

"Okay!"

The two ended the call and Kara made her way downstairs.

Queen Mansion

6:49 am

Oliver was just waking up due to his phone going off, Laurel exploding his phone with texts telling him to wake up because she refused to be late on her first day of school, he texted Kara in the middle of picking out a outfit, he threw on a black collar shirt with matching shorts, and black shoes.

He saw his parents and Thea already at the table eating breakfast, "Good morning Oliver," his father greeted him "Heading out without breakfast?"

"Yeah," Oliver nodded "I have to get Tommy and Laurel and Kara," he said watching his mother's reaction, his mother doesn't approve of Kara that's why he's never introduced her to his parents, Moria simply drank her coffee holding the handle with a tight grip.

"Oliver," his mother sat down her mug "Have breakfast with your family your friends can wait" she told them.

"No," Oliver said taking a bacon off of Thea's plate "Laurel would kill me if I were late, and I promised my girlfriend I would be on time" he said as Thea complained about the food.

He grabbed his keys out the bowl and went to his car in the garage.

"I don't see why you hate her," Thea said "She's pretty cool."

"You've met her?" Robert asked intrigued, he didn't have a problem with Oliver and Kara dating.

Thea nodded and continued to eat, she knew her parents wanted more information but she wasn't going to tell them anything yet.

It was now 6:55, Oliver had gotten Laurel first then Tommy, he was now pulling up to Kara's house texting her as he did.

Oliver: Outside.

Kara: Okay! On my way out!

"So you offered to take her to school?" Tommy asked "She didn't ask you to?"

"For the millionth time Thomas, no she did not ask yes I offered" Oliver sighed sitting his phone in the cubby.

"Just making sure," Tommy said "and why are we in the back?" he asked.

"Because she is his girlfriend Tommy!" Laurel smacked him upside the head "He probably doesn't want her sitting back here with one of us, most likely you" she said.

"Woman—!" Tommy was about to shout at Laurel the door opened "Hey Kara!" Tommy said innocently.

"Hi Tommy," Kara said getting in the front seat "Hi Laurel" she turned to the girl in the seat behind Oliver.

"Hi" Laurel waved.

"Hey," Oliver grabbed her hand.

"Hey," she smiled at him as they leaned in to kiss but someone cleared their throats.

"If I had a dollar for every time I interrupted Oliver making out I'd be richer than I am now," Tommy started as Kara blushed and Oliver growled in annoyance "But I would like to get to school," he paused "Boy that's a sentence that I thought would never come out of my mouth" he continued "But I don't want to sit back here with a pissed off Laurel for long so can we go?" he said.

"Sure Tommy," Oliver forced a smile and started to drive off, he turned to Kara and mouth 'I'm sorry' and she mouth 'it's fine'.

The drive to school wasn't long but it felt like it was, Oliver and Kara sat in the front holding hands as Tommy and Laurel sat in the back arguing about stuff left and right.

Nearing the school Kara's phone rang, she answered it seeing it was Clark.

"Hey Clark," she said.

"Oliver Queen!?" Clark's loud voice came from the other end of the phone "Your dating Oliver Queen!?"

"I didn't tell him!" Lois' voice came from the background.

"Clark..." Kara started "Yes I'm dating Oliver Queen" she said.

Tommy and Laurel stopped arguing when they heard Clark's loud voice from the other end and Oliver turned to look at Kara his gaze switching back and forth between the road and Kara.

"How...when?" Clark asked.

"Officially? Yesterday" Kara answered "Clark, as much as I would love for you to try and talk me out of anything I have to get to school bye!" she ended the call before he could even say anything feeling all eyes on her "Sorry about my cousin," she laughed nervously "He's not a fan of yours" she told Oliver.

"I understand," Oliver said smiling at her.

They reached the school at 7 o'clock luckily classes officially starts at 8 o'clock, they still had to go to the office and got their schedules and new locker numbers.

They all got out the car all eyes on them especially Kara as Oliver walked around and grabbed her hand, the four walked in Tommy and Laurel behind Oliver and Kara.

"Supernova!" They heard Barry shout waving over at them, Kara let go of Oliver's hand and went over to her friends.

She and Barry hugged as Oliver made his way over to them while Laurel and Tommy went to get their schedules, she then went to hug Winn.

"Oliver," Barry nodded.

"Barry," Oliver nodded.

"We got your schedule for you," Winn handed Kara her schedule.

"Thanks guys!" She smiled and read over her schedule, her first class was history and the teacher was Mr. Schuester, she had of course had his class when she was in Ohio and knew how he teaches it was more serious than it was when it came to Glee.

"We're in the same classes," Barry told her smiling.

"As always" Kara laughed.

Oliver watched as Kara interacted with her friends, it was different than with his friends, they were sweet and kind to each other joking here and there, with his friends they were always rough and joking while bullying people.

"Yo Danvers!" A boy called out for Kara, she froze at the voice, she turned to see the boy, his jet black hair hanging above his green eyes, those eyes she had been seeing most of summer "You lookin good" he smirked leaving his friends.

Yep. That was Noah Felton, her ex boyfriend. "Thank you Noah," Kara rolled her eyes "Go back to one of you little whores now" she said.

Oliver was confused of what was happening but he was also pissed off at some dude calling his girlfriend hot, Barry and Winn looked like they were about to pound Noah into the ground.

"Come one Kara, don't be like that," Noah laughed "You know it was just a little joke," he told her "Besides you know you miss me" he smirked looking at her up and down.

"Fuck off Noah," Barry growled "She's moved on dude!" he said.

Noah now noticed Barry and Winn, then he saw Oliver placing his arm around Kara's waist, "So you went from me to man whore Oliver Queen?" Noah asked "He's not going to do nothing but cheat on you" Noah said.

"Get the fuck away from us" Kara told Noah, she was getting angry and didn't want to do anything because of her powers.

"Yo!" Tommy called out running over to them Laurel behind them "What's going on here?"

"Meet Noah Felton, my ex boyfriend, he was just leaving" Kara said.

Noah nodded winking at Kara and left, "Anyways, we got your schedule" Laurel handed Oliver his schedule.

"Thanks" he nodded "Let me see yours," he said to Kara who handed it to him "Look we have most of our classes together!" they smiled at each other.

"This is starting to feel familiar" Winn muttered to Barry who nodded.

"You and I have history today first period which we should be getting to Mr. Schuester doesn't like when his students are late" she told Oliver grabbing his hand.

"How do you know that?" he asked.

"Back at my hold school in Ohio he was my teacher," she told him.

First Period

Oliver and Kara were one of the first five students to arrive then Mr. Schuester arrived, and class began at 8:00 am.

"Alright let me take attendance," Will said.

"Barry Allen?"

"Here."

"Laurel Lance?"

"Present!"

"Cisco Ramon?"

"Here!"

"Stiles Wood?"

"Right here!"

(A few other names)

"Oliver Queen?"

"Here sir."

"Kara Danvers?"

"Here."

Will looked up at Kara who spoke, he stared at her confused, she went to writing in her notebook.

Throughout class, Oliver and Stiles and other boys would make inappropriate jokes while Laurel and Kara paid attention along with Cisco while Barry just slept.

"Alright class! That is the bell!" Will said as the school bell rang "Now before you go I wanted you all to know that I will be starting up a Glee club," he said catching Kara's attention.

"I thought Glee was old school?" Oliver said laughing.

"Yeah who would be stupid enough to sign up for embarrassment" a boy named Tyler laughed.

"You'd be surprised, I've had football players and cheerleaders at my old high school join Glee" Will smiled "You May all leave" he said.

Kara was on her way to Barry's desk to wake him up when she heard Tyler, Stiles and Oliver all laughing at something stupid about Glee while they were leaving she rolled her eyes.

"Barry!" Kara whispered snapping her fingers in his ears "Wake up!" she said.

"I'm up!" Barry said sitting up "Where's the class?" he asked.

"They all died" she told him sarcastically "You slept through it you dummy let's go!"

Barry rolled his eyes and they left, they found Oliver standing outside the door still laughing with Tyler.

"That teacher was totally lying," Tyler said "There's no way football players and cheerleaders sang and danced in a Glee club full of homosexuals" Tyler said.

"Glee?" Barry said "Wait didn't you...?" Kara shot him a glare shutting him up.

"You don't know what you're talking about Tyler," Kara told the boy "Glee is not full of homosexuals! And if you look up McKinley High School then you'll know if that's the truth or not!" she told him, she may not be a Gleek no more but it wasn't right for someone who hasn't even done the thing to make fun of it.

Oliver stopped laughing and stared at Kara, who left after snapping at Tyler, Oliver chased after her and Barry.

"You know it's weird how your old teacher is here and he's setting up a Glee thing," Barry told her "You thinking about rejoining?" he asked passing a sign up sheet.

"No," Kara said.

"Guys!" Oliver called out catching up to them "You know when you're angry you're cute and walk fast" he told Kara who nodded "So why were you angry?" He asked.

"Because it's not right how jocks like Tyler Young just make fun of a club full of other people who likes to sing!" Kara said "and it wasn't cool how you just laughed at the jokes with him" she told Oliver.

"Did we offend you in any way?" Oliver asked.

"She used to be in Glee and got bullied for it," Barry told Oliver as Kara continued to walk.

Oliver ran after Kara, they also had their next class together so it made it easier to talk with her "Kara!" Oliver said going after her but they had already reached the classroom.

They entered seeing the teachers name on the board 'Mrs. Swan!!' It was written in chalk.

"Kara I didn't know you were in Glee, I would have shut it down if it offended you," Oliver whispered to her.

"It's fine Ollie, you didn't know" Kara told him "There's a lot you don't about me yet, just how there's a lot about you that I don't know yet" she added.

The next part will be continuing their first day of school!
