Chapter Six: Overbearing Cousin

Its is now the end of the day, Kara was making her way to the football field to watch Oliver's tryouts.

She pulled out her phone powering it back on because Alex wouldn't stop texting or calling her doing her free periods, walking out the doors she saw that the bleachers was filled with girls who were there to watch the tryout.

She went to sit by herself not wanting to be apart of whatever thing they had going on, she noticed a group of girls gazing as some guys, one of those guys being Oliver. Kara sighed to herself as she pulled out her book.

Oliver was pumping himself when he noticed Kara reading, he looked over at the coach who was paying more attention to the new guys, he ran over to the bleachers.

"Hi there beautiful" he said causing Kara to look up from her book.

"Hi" she smiled at him "It seems you have some fan girls" she pointed to the girls who was glaring at her while Oliver talked with her.

"Yeah it seems," Oliver didn't bother looking at the other girls "Too bad I have my eyes on someone else" he said.

Kara smiled "QUEEN! Stop flirting and get your ass on the field!" the coach yelled.

"Wish me luck" he winked at Kara and ran out to the field.

A few minutes into watching the boys a girl was slowly making her way over to Kara. "Hey" the girl said, her voice was snippy and sounded mean.

"Hi" Kara looked at her confused.

"So you're the girl who made Ollie brake up with me?" she questioned but it sounded like a statement.

"I didn't make him do anything," Kara turned her gaze back the boys.

"All I know is one day Oliver and I are fucking and then the next he's braking it off for some blonde," she said.

"I'm sorry what's your name?" Kara asked.

"Taylor Lynch" she responded.

"Ah," Kara nodded, Taylor Lynch was the most popular girl but kept moving schools each year because of lawsuits that kids placed on her she's also known for her father being the second richest kid in Starling City.

Taylor opened her mouth but shut it when the whistle blew and coach telling the boys to take a brake. Kara saw Oliver grab his water and run over to her. "Stay away from him" Taylor whispered.

Kara rolled her eyes, as Oliver finally reached them instead of standing in front of the bleachers he went to sit next to Kara.

"Hi Ollie" Taylor smiled.

"Hi," Oliver nodded, Taylor got up glaring at Kara and winking at Oliver before walking away, Oliver then turned his gaze to Kara wrapping his arms around her "Hey" he whispered.

"Hi" she smiled, he leaned into kiss her but she moved her face away and laughed "Sorry, you're too sweaty" she smiled at him.

"And that gets me no kiss?" Oliver fake pouted. "You'll get a kiss once you're not sweaty" she smiled at him.

"I'll hold you to that" he smirked.

"I'm sure you will" Kara chuckled.

It was soon time for him to go back to the field, Kara spotted her cousin standing near the fence entrance. She pulled out her phone and texted him.

Kara: What are you doing here?

Clark: I stopped by Eliza's you weren't there she said you called saying you were gonna stay at school.

Kara: Yeah Oliver wanted me to watch tryout.

Clark: Right...

Kara: Can you please go back to Eliza's? We'll talk when I get there.

Clark: Fine.

Kara looked up to see him walk off.

After a few more minutes tryouts were over and the boys were heading to the locker room.

Kara was waiting for Oliver to come out so she texted him telling him she was going to his car where she found Laurel talking to some of her friends, "Hey Kara!" Laurel waved.

"Hey," Kara waved back "I didn't know you were still here."

"Yeah," Laurel said "I had a student body meeting and plus I wouldn't have been able to get home because Oliver brought was here" she said and Kara nodded.

"Oh girls this is Kara Danvers, Oliver's girlfriend," Laurel said "Kara this is Lizzie, Zari, Charlie, and Josie" she pointed to each girl.

Lizzie had dark blonde hair, her eyes mixed with blue and green, she seemed like a preppy girl who liked pink but she looked cool, Zari her dark brown hair brown eyes, you could easily tell she was a tomboy by the way she dressed but she wasn't on of those 'tomboys' who pretended to like all the things boys do.

Charlie was a dark skin girl with light brown braids in her hair with chocolate brown eyes, she looked like a total badass and cool. Josie had dark black hair and she seemed like a girl who focused on studies which she was but she knew when to have fun.

"Nice to meet you" she shook all their hands.

The girls started talking and after a few minutes Tommy and Oliver were walking out the school.

"Hey" Oliver's arm went around Kara's neck kissing her cheek "I believe you owe me a kiss" he whispered.

"Later" she smiled.

"You ladies ready to go?" Tommy asked.

"Yeah," Laurel and Kara nodded waving off to the other girls before getting in the car.

Oliver dropped Tommy and Laurel off first then Kara, they were now pulling up to her house.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" He questioned.

"Yeah but I won't be needing a ride" she said "My cousin is in town and he will probably be giving me a ride" she explained as she noticed the confused look on his face.

Oliver nodded "But I do believe I owe you a kiss" she leaned closer to him but before their lips could even touch there was a knock on the window.

Oliver looked over Kara's shoulder and saw a buff man standing there as Kara turned around, "Your cousin is Clark Kent?" Oliver asked Kara.

"Yeah" she said grabbing her bag giving Oliver a peck on the cheek before exiting the car "See you at school?" she turned to face Oliver.

"Yeah" Oliver smiled waving to Kara before driving off.

"When I said we'll talk when I got home I meant inside the house not in front of my boyfriend" she turned back to Clark.

"I wanted to see him for myself" Clark folder his arms.

"Now you have," Kara said.

"Kara why are you dating him?" Clark asked as Kara started walking in the house.

"Because, I want to," Kara said "he's sweet and caring when he's with me" she added.

"Kara he's a guy! A playboy!" Clark said to her catching the door while she tried to shut it in his face "They act all sweet and caring then he's cheating on you!" he exclaimed "Have you seen the news on this guy!?" he asked "and the reports!?"

"Yes!" Kara said "I've seen all the reports even the ones you while you lived here! I'm not dumb Kal I did my research!" she snapped.

"Then why are you dating that guy!"

It was a good thing Eliza went shopping for groceries because she would have not liked the way these two were 'talking' to each other.

"Because he ignores all the other girls!" she yelled "and even though it's only been a few days he makes me feel human just how Lois does to you!" she felt the tears sting her eyes it always happened when she got mad "Why can't you and Alex just except the fact that I'm a big girl and can handle myself and the boys I date!? Oliver is not like Jake or anyone else I've dated!" she adds on the tears finally coming out "You have no say in my love life! You left me with the Danvers when I needed you and Lois is here for me more than you so you can't just walk up in here telling me not to date the only guy who makes fell human!" with that Kara stormed upstairs slamming the door and locking it while Clark stood there speechless.

I should have probably mentioned there will be a little Clark and Alex bashing. I love Alex but there are sometimes where she got on my nerves but I hate Clark so it's easy for the bashing.
