The Federation Council unanimously voted to disband Starfleet and allowed the Tauri Federation Miliary to establish a base of operations at the former Starfleet Headquarters, shipyard on Mars and sole responsibility of protecting the Federation member worlds. That frees the Federation of their obligated mandate to seek out new civilization.

"Thousands of officers and enlisted personnel gave their lives serving and defending the Federation. They did not understand why the Federation Council made the drastic decision. Even though they shed their blood fighting the bloodiest war against the Dominion, Starfleet has not been the same since the end of the Dominion war."

Federation President Jaresh-Inyo of Grazer and Tauri Federation President Amanda Clark made a joint statement about disbanding Starfleet.

"Any Starfleet personal wish to transfer to The Tauri Federation Military may do so. They will keep their rank and command. All Starfleet warships and combat vessels will be transferred out to the Tauri Federation excluding science vessels." President Jaresh-Inyo reiterated. "The Federation founding principles is to seek peace, prosperity and liberty among member worlds. The sight of a warship doesn't bode well when we are striving for peace."

"As my counterpart has stated, I disagree with their decision by disbanding Starfleet. It makes the Federation look weak when defending itself from threats like the Klingon, Romulans and the rest that threatens the very existence of the Federation." President Clark says as she looks into the cameras of reporters. "Starfleet sat out of the Dominion war since the Tauri Federation was founded to defend and safeguard member worlds, interstellar economic and trading traffic. It was the Tauri Federation Navy that brought the Dominion to their knees and liberated the Cardassians from Gul Dukat. It was the Tau'ri Federation that liberated Betazed, It was the Tau'ri Federation Marines that apprehended Ba'al. I'll be obligated to defend the United Federation of Planets." President Amanda Clark stated. "We'll go into details as the meeting progresses."

On the other news; Tauri Federation Congress passes a unanimous bill allowing Holograms and synthetic rights as any sentient life in the universe. It will be transmitted to the Federation Council to be considered as law.

A fleet is underway to the Delta Quadrant to rendezvous with the missing Starfleet vessel USS Voyager and encounter the Borg. With the hyperspace engine installed in all ships; the trip will take 2 days where the old warp engines would take them 30 to 40 years to traverse 70,000 light years.

"The Borg is a clear and present danger to all lifeforms in the galaxy." Admiral Jean Luc Picard stated during the press conference in the newest 12th Fleet flagship called USS Enterprise E. A Sovereign class ship retrofitted to Tau'ri Federation Navy specs.

Federation engineers replaced the warp nacelle into hangar bays for fighters, shuttles and small craft.

"Sir, what about rescuing Voyager and her crew?" A Federation news reporter asks the Admiral.

"Our mandate is to rescue Voyager and establish a dialogue with the Borg."

"You are not from this dimension are you?" Asked another reporter from the Federation news service. "The Borg, they are machines bent on assimilating all lifeforms and technology in the galaxy. What if the Borg doesn't agree with the terms?"

Admiral Cristobal smiles at the reporter. "No, I'm not from this dimension, every dimension is like any other dimension."

"What do the Tauri Federation have to convince the Borg?"

USS VOYAGER

On the other side of the galaxy, the Voyager crew just replenish their food supply (this paragraph says that they went on an away mission to replenish their food supply and deuterium.)

In the Astrometrics lab, Seven is playing a game of Kadis-kot through a long long range communication. Seven move her piece and grins.

"Your move." Seven says.

"Green, grid twelve ten."

"Red, grid three thirteen."

"Tricky." Neelix studies her strategy.

"How's Brax?" Seven asks as she moves Neelix's piece on the Kadis-kot.

"Wonderful. Thanks for asking. I know I can never replace his father, but…"

"I have no doubt the boy looks up to you."

"Orange, grid ten twelve. I haven't told anyone, but I'm thinking of asking Dexa to marry me."

"She'd be wise to accept."

"That's enough of my love life. How about yours?"

"I don't have a love life." Seven says as she monitors the instrument on her console.

"Oh? What about your relationship with Commander Chakotay?"

"It's your turn."

"Actually, it's yours. At least tell me how he liked the picnic."

"It was an enjoyable activity for both of us. Thank you for suggesting it."

Sensors alerted her of something that is promising.

"Any time. What is it?"

"Long range sensors are detecting extremely high neutrino emissions accompanied by an intermittent graviton flux approximately three light years away."

"A wormhole?"

"I'm not sure. I'll need to conduct more scans."

"We can finish our game tomorrow."

"I'll contact you at the usual time."

She closes out her communication with Neelix and immediately presses a few commands on the console and immediately walks to the turbolift and heads towards the bridge. A few moments later, she enters the bridge and walks towards the science station, dismissing the crewmember who was working on it.

"Seven?" Captain Janeway said as she sips her coffee.

Seven transfers the reading to the main view screen. It as a sensor reading of a nebula. "The emissions are occurring at the centre of the nebula. There appear to be hundreds of distinct sources."

"Which could translate to hundreds of wormholes." Ensign Kim said with excitement.

SEVEN: The radiation is interfering with our sensors, but if Ensign Kim's enthusiasm turns out to be justified, it would be the most concentrated occurrence of wormholes ever recorded.

"Any idea where they lead?" Janeway asks as she looks over Ensign Kim workstation.

"Not yet, but if just one of them leads to the Alpha Quadrant." Kim says.

"Who knows, Harry? It might take us right into your parents' living room." Paris smirk with the joke.

"Alter course, Mister Paris. Ensign, when you speak to your mother, tell her we may need her to move the sofa." Janeway said as she went back to her command chair.

Sensor blips on Tuvoks console alerting him of an unknown energy signature. He triangulate the emission a few hundred kilometers from voyager position.

"Captain, Sensors picking up unknown energy signature at 3.4 kilometers away."

"What is it?"

"Sensors reading duranium and tritanium metal alloy." Tuvok reads the readout out loud and continues.

A bluish hyperspace window open a few kilometers from Voyager and a Tauri Ship Destiny class ship followed by several Sovereign class ships exit out of hyperspace and surrounds Voyager.

jaws drop as the crew of voyager saw a massive fleet (This paragraph says that an anomaly is forming and a fleet of Sovereign class exit out of hyperspace)

"Ma'am, they are hailing us."

"Which one?"

"Put them through."

"This is Admiral Cristobal Rios of the Tauri Federation Navy vessel USS Guadulpe."

"This is Captain Katherine Janeway. I'm sorry, I don't recognize the Tauri Federation Navy. Your ship looks familiar to Starfleet vessels."

"My ship is a Destiny Class Battleship from Tauri Federation, you are referring to my escorts"

"The Federation Council disbanded Starfleet, We'll send you the necessary data and our engineers to upgrade your warp engines to hyperspace."

"How is upgrading our engines help us?"

Bright light engulf the bridge and 4 people materialize. They are wearing Starfleet standard uniform, but they are wearing a shoulder patch that says Tauri Federation Navy and a ship they serve on.

Tuvok raises his phaser but it goes away on his console as soon as the four individuals materialize.

"Captain Janeway I presume."

"Yes, how did you find us?"

"It wasn't hard, the Tauri Federation have sensor technology that you never dream about"

"Who is the Tauri Federation?" Paris ask.
