Everyone was sitting in the living room in Monica and Rachel's apartment and watching TV, except for Chandler. He said he'd come over after work, but Joey said he was home and it's already been an hour since Joey got there. Monica kept eyeing the door, and eventually decided to go over to Chandler and Joey's apartment to check what was going on.

Monica opened the door and saw Chandler leaning on the kitchen counter, talking on the phone.

"Yeah, you look good in the black dress. Okay, I love you too. I'll talk to you later," he hung up the phone, straightened up and put the phone on its home.

Monica's eyes were wide. She couldn't believe it. He was cheating oh her?

"Who was that?"

"What?" Chandler turned around, surprised.

"Who was on the phone?"

"Um. A wrong number."

"You told a wrong number that she looks good in a black dress? That you love her? That you'll talk to her later?"

Chandler suddenly understood what was going on. "No, no, no. It's not what you think."

"I never thought you would do that to me, Chandler. You, from all people."

He saw that she was starting to cry. "Monica, no. It's not what you think."

She stormed out of the apartment and walked towards hers. Chandler ran after her and grabbed her arm. "Listen, Mon…"

"Let go of me!" She yelled and snatched her arm from his hand. She walked into her apartment and slammed the door in his face.

"What's going on?" Rachel asked, concerned. Monica paced the room and didn't say anything.

Chandler opened the door and walked in cautiously.

"It's not what you think," he said.

"Who was on the phone?"

Chandler looked at the others, who were all staring at him. He scratched his neck. "Can we… can we talk about this privately?"

Monica was furious. She walked over to the door and opened it. "Get out."

Chandler sighed. He had to do this now.

"I was talking to my father," he said, looking at her, embarrassed.

"What? Why would you tell your father that his dress was… Oh."

"Yeah," he walked over to her and put his hands on her arms, stroking them. "I started talking to him again recently. He's doing a show in New York and he wanted my opinion on… dresses," he grimaced.

Monica smiled at him and started to laugh, hugging him closely.

"I'm sorry I thought that you were cheating on me," she said.

"It's okay. I get that it sounded bad. I didn't tell you I was talking to him again."

She pulled away and rested her forehead on his. He stroked her neck. "I would never cheat on you, Monica."

"I know," she said quietly. He pulled away from her slightly and kissed her.

"Umm, hello?" He heard Rachel's voice and broke the kiss. "What… are you… what?"

"Right," Chandler said, and both him and Monica turned to the rest of the gang. "There's something we need to tell you.
