The professor was saying something about accidents and careful and fire and Antonia shouted over her, "That one! Give me that one!"
It had not been an accident, whatever the professor said. Antonia felt it in her very soul.
When she went out front, her new pokeball in her hands, her mom and dad said asked what she picked. She let Charmander out again. "Charmander loves hugs," she told them, just like they'd always said to everyone else when introducing her. "Give him a hug!"
