Toriko: Namu's Buffet.
Chapter 19.
"Hito's Goal"
Bishokukai Headquarters.
11:57 a.m.
Hito walked through the dark and dingy halls of the Bishokukai headquarters before stopping to look at a nearby clock.
"Almost time for lunch." he thought to himself. "Not that the time of day matters to the Boss. As far as he's concerned, it's always breakfast, lunch, dinner, AND dessert every minute of every day."
He continued walking, every step creating a deep echo. Suddenly, a condescending voice spoke.
"Finally back with the Inferno Peppers, eh Hito?"
Hito looked to his left to see a fellow Sous Chef leaning against a pillar. The man was of above average height and was wearing a blue, spotted top and various pink rings around his waist, arms, and legs.
"Tommyrod." Hito said, annoyed.
"What's with the sour face? Are you not happy to see me?" Tommyrod asked, sarcastically.
"As a matter of fact, piss off!" Hito shouted.
Bishokukai Headquarters . Dining room.
12:00 p.m.
Hito walked into the dining room to see his boss gorging himself on dozens, if not hundreds of high quality dishes.
"Midora-sama." Hito stated to make himself known. "I've brought the Inferno Peppers." Hito reached in to a pocket on the inside of his blue fur coat and pulled out a bunch of large, red, orange, and yellow peppers.
"I was thinking of perhaps making stuffed pepp-"
Suddenly, he no longer felt the peppers in his hand. Confused, he looked at his hand only to find the peppers had completely disappeared.
"How in Froshe's name...?" Hito thought, in shock. "Did the Boss use his tongue to snatch them from my hand? Impossible! Normally, if someone eats an unprepared Inferno Pepper, they can go into cardiac arrest! And he ate an entire bunch! In one gulp! And I didn't even see it!"
Bishokukai Headquarters. Hito's room.
4:57 p.m.
Hito sat at the desk in his room, still surprised by what happened in the dining room earlier that day.
"Man, the Boss sure is something. Was he really a disciple of Acacia?"
Hito thought for a while about the legendary Acacia. One legend went to the next and before he knew it, Hito was thinking of Acacia's Full Course Menu, and one specific item.
"Yes." Hito thought. "That dish would be perfect."
Hito opened a drawer on his desk, and pulled out an old, folded up piece of paper. He unfolded the paper to see his own Full Course.

End of Chapter.
Author's Note: Hey. It's been a minute, hasn't it? I'm so sorry for the long hiatus, I promise it wasn't intentional. You're probably wondering where I've been or why I stopped writing. You see, I've always been obsessed with two things at once. Sometimes it's DC comics and Fairy Tail, and sometimes it'll be Skyrim and old Vanossgaming Uno videos. My point is I sorta lost interest in Toriko for a while. The thing is, since I've been gone, I've gotten back into Toriko multiple times, but I still didn't update. I don't know why. Maybe I thought y'all would be mad at me, or something.
I also started volunteering at an animal shelter in 2018. My usual volunteer shift is Friday evenings, and that's the same time I used to post. So when I got back from the shelter, I was too tired to post.
I recently began therapy. Don't worry, eveything's fine. I'm just trying to work on my flaws. And one such flaw is not finishing anything.
Anyway, I hope you guys like this chapter. If you have ideas for Ingredients, leave them in the review section.
Until next time JA NE!
