Toriko: Namu's Buffet

Chapter 24

"To The Frozen Continent!"

The docks were filled with types of boats and ships. Some were small boats with fisherman, leaving and coming back with various Fish Beasts. Others were large vessels, used for Gourmet cruises. But the most impressive ship by far was a massive ship of steel and iron.

"Amazing!" Tsubaki said, in joyous splendor. "I've never seen a ship this big."

"Yeah. It's definitely something only the richest of the rich can afford." Namu replied.

Namu, Tsubaki, and the rest of the Bishokuya began boarding the large icebreaker. As Namu and Tsubaki were boarding, a rather short man with glasses stopped them.

"Excuse me, but you'll need these." the man said, pulling out some items similar to wetsuits.

"What are they?" Namu asked, confused.

"These are 'Rider Suits' sir. The weather around Ice Hell is far too cold for your current garments, I'm afraid."

"I'm guessing these are meant to keep us warm?" Tsubaki said as she took the suits from the man.

"That is correct, ma'am." the man said as he turned around to give the others their own suits.

Several minutes later.

Namu was leaning against the metal wall of the ship beside a door. Namu knocked on the door a few times before asking.

"You almost ready, Tsu?"

"Almost." Tsubaki replied.

Just then, the door opened and Tsubaki walked out. Her Rider Suit clung tightly to her body, unintentionally showing off her curvacious figure. Although her body was completely covered, the suit left little to the imagination.

Namu said nothing, even as his nose began to bleed.

"Your nose is bleeding, are you okay?" Tsubaki asked, concerned for her partner.

"What? Oh yeah, I'm fine. The cold weather must've made the skin around my nose dry and I guess it cracked."

Just then, there was the sound of people screaming in terror. Namu and Tsubaki made their way to deck of the ship to see several Great Legs attacking the passengers.

Namu ran towards the closest Great Leg to him, and rammed his fist into the side of its head, stunning it.

"With this tight Rider Suit covering my body, I won't be able to cover most of my body in my bio-steel. I"ll have to concentrate it on just my fists." Namu thought to himself. Just then, the Great Leg lunged at him. The clang of the shark beast's fangs against Tsubaki's kitchen knife brought Namu snapped him out of his deep thought.

"Look alive, partner!" Tsubaki shouted at her friend as she stabbed her knife into the roof of the Great Leg's mouth and into it's brain, killing it.

"Thanks." Namu smiled as he excreted bio-steel over his right hand until it took the form of a meat cleaver.

Later.

As the surviving Bishokuya were enjoying the Great Leg sashimi Komatsu and Tsubaki made, Namu heard Toriko speak.

"I can see it!" Toriko said. "The Frozen Continent, Ice Hell!"

End of Chapter.

Author's Note: This one took a while, didn't it? Sorry about that, I was kinda lacking inspiration lately. Also, I've been playing Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 a lot, and now I'm hyper fixated on the Dragon ball universe. Not that that's a excuse.

Anyway, I have a favor to ask you guys. I'm not sure if Namu and Tsubaki should fight Hito again in this arc. I want Hito to be intimidating and very powerful, but if he's constantly getting beat by Namu, he wouldn't be a good villain. So, I'd like you guys to give me some suggestions for a new Bishokukai branch chief type of character. I don't need an entire character, just some personality traits and a creative power or ability. I'm also trying to think of stuff, but I just can't think of a really cool character. So if y'all have suggestions, please share (only if you want to though, you don't have to).
