Everyone except Nobita was shocked by the most recent event, the identity of the villain known as Lady Belladonna had been revealed, turning out to be none other than Lady Mara, the Vampire King's sister and Selene's aunt. It was an unusual event for the Amarantians, and the worst of all was that the broadcast of the ascension event was still on, those who were recording had fled and left everything activated.

EVERYONE in Amarant had learned that it was a Vasilescu who was behind everything they had gone through and that she wanted to kill her own family in order to take control of the planet. But the question that resonated most in their heads was: Why?

The atmosphere was uncomfortable for the Earthlings, one of pain and confusion for the Vasilescus and anger for the council. Zurie was terrified by the idea that his own mother was behind everything that had happened, the Vampire King was pushed in his wheelchair by one of the council members bringing him closer to where his daughter and nephews were.

"Sister, you... Were you always Lady Belladonna? But that means... That you wanted to kill my daughter, your own niece! Was the vervain in the food also your doing and you wanted to kill me? I'm your brother! And don't try to deny it, your face is everywhere! Why?!"

"M-Mother? Say something... Say it's a lie" Zurie only denied what was in front of him while crying, his brothers only looked with indignation, despite the fact that they were bothering their younger brother, they tried to comfort him at the same time that they looked at their mother with disappointment.

"So she's the one who sent me to be killed on Earth? That explains how Lady Belladonna knew I had gone there and the day my capsule would fall, I... I don't understand why, she was like a mother to me"

Selene covers her face in pain from the betrayal, she really loved her aunt a lot and that revelation had hit her, her friends from Earth come to comfort her, although she first sought the comfort of her first human friend, so Nobita, although he sensed Lady Belladonna's identity, gave his friend a hug to comfort her, Doraemon pats her on the back, Shizuka puts her hand on her shoulder in support and Gian and Suneo stayed close to the vampire.

Donovan just shakes in denial and disappointment, although he wasn't the best person, he wasn't going to betray his own people either, not even if his pride and ego were sky high.

"ANSWER MARA! JUST TELL ME WHY!" Count Caleb raises his voice to such a point that it made the room where they were shake, his vampire blood boiled to such an extent that he completely forgot about the verbena due to the heat of the moment.

Lady Mara just takes a deep breath getting up as if nothing happened and getting ready, as if the feelings of her own family mattered to her, well in part that was true if she made a whole clan to keep everything for herself and kill her brother's family. "Brother, you've always been a weakling, no wonder you were so easy to subdue with vervain. It's a shame my dear offspring was a bit nosy and stopped the poisoning, it would have been easier. But..."

The vampiress just straightens her hair smiling at Zurie, she spoke with her usual delicate voice, since as Lady Belladonna, she forced her voice to sound a little different to disguise herself. A couple of guards caught her by the arms, but she didn't care, in fact, she was proud because she no longer had to pretend to be the good aunt and the reliable sister. "Your mother still loves you, my love. Oh, and that pair"

The twins didn't feel that indifference so strongly, Lady Mara had always had favoritism with Zurie, which those feelings towards her 3 children were different, she took care of the youngest as her great treasure while with the older ones she only treated them as any relatives, it was partly for that reason that the teenagers bothered the little vampire, they were jealous of him.

"So the idea of me going to Earth was part of a plan to eliminate me?" Selene although hurt, wanted answers.

"Since it doesn't matter anymore anyway. Yes, the idea I gave you was a hidden plan to finish you off, dear. I knew, or at least I believed that in a place of humans like Earth where you would have no protection, it would be the ideal place to get you out of the way and without evidence, that's why I sent that pair of vampires after you. That was just part of a bigger plan where I would get MY position as Vampire Queen."

"You don't know how frustrated I was when the old vampire queens and kings clung to a quiet life. We have a greater power than other species and a mineral with which we have built a civilization! I thought that, when you took the position of Vampire King you would be a little more rational and use the magentun to conquer other planets, I imagined all the blood of other species in unimaginable quantities!"

Lady Mara just makes a face of disgust "But what did you decide to do when you got the title of Vampire King? Follow the same boring path as our ancestors."

"Do you think it's rational to invade other planets with the power of a rare mineral and turn us all into blood banks until we die?!" Doraemon says angrily.

"Shut up raccoon! You don't even have blood and I bet you're just a second-hand robot, it's obvious just by looking at you." The mocking laughter and the comment from Selene's aunt make the robot cat want to pounce on her but is stopped by Nobita so as not to increase the harsh atmosphere any further.

"I thought that with Caleb's inevitable end, Selene's promotion ceremony would be moved up and so it was, which led to the next step, which was to cajole my naive niece into going into hiding until her promotion deadline was up. And as excited as she was for a freedom that would never come, it wasn't hard to convince her at all, after all, she trusted me blindly."

The mocking smile towards Selene was a direct attack towards the little vampire's heart, Lady Mara was her aunt, a companion, a friend, like a second mother who took care of her when she lost hers, that mocking face with which she looked at her made the girl cry with sadness while Shizuka comforted her, Nobita couldn't help but look at the woman with displeasure, as did Gian and Suneo.

"Since I managed to get you off the planet in the capsule, I prepared the ground for my minions to go first and finish you off. I even took the liberty of taking some of your food from the capsule so that you would be weakened by hunger, so that you wouldn't be able to avoid being eliminated even if you were first class."

Lady Mara points at Nobita, glaring at him angrily. "But I didn't expect THAT to be a problem. When my minions told me about you and that robot, I thought at first that you were just a harmless nuisance. But I didn't count on the vampire bond you have with her. Why would I count on that? Vampire bonds are between vampires! How was I supposed to know that there would be a slight chance of that bond with a human?!"

"But, my mistake wasn't giving it importance honestly, I realized that I couldn't finish Selene if you were with her. So I used the emergency plan, after all, it wasn't a coincidence that the council knew in the end that you ended up on Earth. I decided to neglect myself on purpose to bring you back. What better way to end you than your life fading away in your father's arms by vervain on the most important day of your life?"

"Mother, stop it, you're crazy, you're only making Zurie worse!" Locke, one of the twins gets upset standing in front of his little brother who just lowers his head still not believing what was happening, usually they called him dwarf, but in situations like this, they were a little nicer.

Donovan walks back and forth, like a detective unraveling a great mystery "But even though you separated from us for a moment to go get the princess, you didn't take long at all, but since we were so upset with the heiress issue, we didn't pay attention to her. Now we know, you didn't need to because you've already taken Earth human blood thanks to your minions according to Selene's report about her stay on Earth about the Scarlet Moon attacks we made her do"

"Did you use our Dimensional Door previously dressed as Lady Belladonna to be caught on purpose right?" Lady Mara just shrugs her shoulders smiling to affirm that.

Nobita continues to look at the vampiress with contempt until he is startled "Oh, that night!"

Nobita waits by Lady Mara's side, but notices something curious: The vampire woman's hands were covered in some fresh blood.

Lady Mara notices this and quickly takes out a handkerchief. "I'm sorry if you're scared by that, I just had a late night snack when the council discovered me and I didn't have time to clean myself up."

"The blood you had on your hands was mine and you wiped it off your hands when I noticed, that's appalling and...!"

"YOU TRIED TO KILL MY FRIEND BY DRAINING HIM NOT JUST A MOMENT AGO, BUT THAT DAY TOO!" Selene once again exploded, she went straight to Lady Mara to confront her face to face "So you also tried to kill me 2 times years ago just for wanting to be the Vampire Queen?! What's wrong with you?! I saw you as a mother figure, Auntie! I was about to thank you for giving me the idea to go to Earth so I could reflect and rest! I was going to thank you that thanks to you, I was able to meet Nobita!"

The platinum girl's screams of pain and sadness made everyone pale, they could feel the pain of that poor girl in each and every one of those words that came out of her mouth, especially the silly boy who could feel the pain of others, it was painful to see how his vampire friend screamed at the family she thought she could trust.

"I was going to thank you for everything, but you don't deserve me to thank you for anything, you wanted to kill me just for power, I lived in fear for a while of sleeping alone and it was hard for me to get over it! I had to witness how my friend stopped kicking when you drained him on my birthday! You tried to kill my father with vervain! Because of you I was depressed for having separated from my friends on Earth so soon, you gave me the opportunity to have a joy and you took it away from me for a while! Was it really that important for you to be Vampire Queen to have made me and all of us suffer for all this time?!"

"Yes" Lady Mara said that with a haughty look and then goes back to the mocking smile "What?! Did you really expect me to say something like (Forgive me for what I've done to you all, I let myself be clouded by my thirst for power and I regret everything)?! Oh, don't be stupid! Why would I regret everything you've been through?"

"Because you are her aunt and you're taken care of her since she was little, you shouldn't tell her that!" Shizuka yells at the adult vampire with a feeling of horror and annoyance, something everyone had at that moment.

"I was just pretending. Why would I be a real mother figure to an impure vampire?" Lady Mara just rolls her eyes, but it made Selene tear up more.

"N-no, stop it, you're not telling me this, not you." The vampire's body was shaking, she was thinking that her dream of having met her human friend again was a treacherous nightmare. But she wasn't dreaming, everything was real, both good and bad.

("That term again, she calls me like the other vampire guys who talked behind my back. I want... I want to wake up from this nightmare.")

Nobita hears the girl's pain through the link and runs to support her, she lowered her head gratefully but still in pain while covering her mouth in shock, it was too much, again, the betrayal, first from a friend who left her, and now a family member who almost killed her.

Of course the comment bothered Count Caleb "MARA!"

"Impure vampire?" Gian asks while scratching his head confused

"Takeshi!" Shizuka complains to the robust boy while Suneo looks at him a little uncomfortable

"You can't ask those things in front of Selene, it seems like it's like a horrible insult to a vampire" the dwarf whispers to her as he points to Selene trembling and Nobita comforting her with a sad look.

"Well, I was just asking, I'm not a vampire to know" Gian just scratches the back of his neck embarrassed.

"Am I lying? Selene is the daughter of a vampire by birth and a converted vampire, her mother was a human astronaut who was caught by a wormhole in her ship that traveled to a point in space in a different time, she arrived at Amarant, fell in love with Caleb and decided to become a vampire because she loved him and all that nonsense. But before she was of an inferior species that ended up being my brother's wife ruining the family blood"

Lady Mara looks at Nobita from head to toe arching her eyebrow and then at Selene "And for a moment I thought I was having some kind of deja vu seeing you two"

The silly boy said "Huh?" Startled and with a slight blush on his cheeks ("W-we're friends. Is that why? Heh.")

The boy's face laughing nervously made the platinum girl cheer up a little for a moment, who smiles ("We are without a doubt, although that reaction cheered me up a little, thanks.")

Shizuka also can't help but say "Huh?" Stunned by what the adult vampire said.

"But the converted vampires are the same as the normal ones. That derogatory and absurd comparison doesn't make sense" says Doraemon bringing his hand to his face

"They aren't real vampires in my perspective, if those who are converted want to be like us there is no problem, but not when it comes to our family" The woman looks at the human guys in a disdainful manner "It would make sense if the converted vampires related to normal second class vampires. But not with us, that is why Selene is an impure vampire, she felt like she was living a deja vu with her birth. Why can my Zurie who is a pure vampire only be a doctor?! That is why I not only thought about taking over Amarant and invading planets, but with that power I would change the vampire rules so that whoever deserves it would be the heir, Zurie would have been the perfect heir!"

The young vampire only trembles while he covers his ears, closing his eyes, he also wanted what was happening to be a nightmare and for his mother to be the same overprotective but sweet woman as always.

"I DESERVE TO BE THE QUEEN, ZURIE DESERVES TO BE THE HEIR AND NOT A SPOILED BRAT WHOSE FATHER IS A WEAK GUY WHO DOESN'T USE HIS RESOURCES TO RULE PROPERLY OVER THE LOWER SPECIES THAT ARE ONLY BLOOD BANKS FOR US!"

"ENOUGH OF INSULTING SELENE!" Now Nobita was the one who had joined the discussion "It's horrible that the person she trusted the most turned out to be like this, you are terrible, you are evil, and not only because you keep hurting Selene with hurtful words, but Zurie is also having a hard time!"

The clumsy boy looks back for a moment, sadly observing that Zurie was in the same state of shock as his cousin and the twins trying to comfort him, although it was noticeable that it had also affected them, not as much as the youngest, but they were upset.

"This isn't going to help him, it's wrong, he doesn't want any of that, neither does Selene, she just wanted to feel good about herself and have people who love her! She trusted you!"

Lady Mara was starting to get annoyed by how the boy with glasses was lecturing her: "And why are you giving your opinion, brat?! I won't let an inferior species talk to me like that! No wonder you're friends, you're both equally detestable!"

Nobita raised his voice, his friends wanted to say something but Doraemon got in the way because he wanted his best friend to confront the relative of the friend who trusted him. And just the same, the woman was trapped by the guards, she was no longer a danger.

"She's not detestable, you can't say that to her! SELENE SAW YOU AS HER MOM!"

"HER MOM WAS JUST A CONVERTED WHO SHOULD NOT HAVE MET IN WHAT DID NOT CONCERN HER AND THAT'S WHY I'M SO HAPPY THAT THE POISONING IN THE FOOD I GAVE HER DID WORK AND THAT THEY NEVER KNEW THAT WAS WHY SHE WENT WEAK UNTIL THE END OF HER DAYS! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW HAPPY I WAS THE DAY SHE DIED WITH MY VERVAIN!"

...Once again the room was filled with an overwhelming silence.
