It was a new day in Tokyo, mainly at school and in a certain classroom in particular, all the students were starting to arrive little by little. When Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo arrive at class, they realize that Nobita had arrived before them, something surprising considering that he often knew how to arrive late to class. And he wasn't the only one surprised, for everyone that event wasn't very common.

"NOBITA ARRIVED EARLY?! Is it the end of the world?!" Gian shouts in surprise.

Shizuka walks over to her friend and sits down at the double desk she shared with Dekisugi who was reading a book, Nobita sat at the desk next to the window but since the side facing the hallway was empty because a student changed schools, he had that double desk all to himself for now "Good morning Nobita. I'm so glad you've recovered from your cold"

Nobita sits down at the empty side just to be closer to Shizuka for a while "Thanks Shizuka"

"Wow, the cold has taken away your laziness for a while" Suneo says laughing as he sits down with Gian at the double desk in front of Shizuka and Dekisugi.

Nobita gets upset by the comment but then remembers the real reason he got up on time that morning

The boy was asleep on his futon as the day began, the alarm clock began to ring, but as expected of him, he just ignored it, until ("Nobita, wake up, it's a new day. Come on.") In the boy's mind, the female voice of the girl who was now going to live with them for a couple of months was heard, he slowly opens his eyes and sees how Selene was sitting while looking into his eyes with a smile, which made him wake up completely. "Good morning"

"G-good morning! I-I see that the bracelet has helped you today too." The boy quickly gets up to see her violet eyes "Hey... And why are your eyes that color? I thought vampires' eyes were red."

The vampiress lets out a low giggle. "They are the signature eyes of the Vasilescus. Actually, vampires' eyes are normally soft red when they are second class vampires. Dull charcoal eyes mean extreme hunger. First class eyes can be a different color depending on the family one comes from, but we can also turn them red when our emotions are high, like anger mainly."

"Oh, I see, something else to write down in that notebook" Nobita just scratches the back of his neck smiling "Since I'm awake I guess I'll have to get ready to go to school"

The boy just leaves the room, Doraemon slides the closet door and sees how Selene arranged the futon "Oh, he's already up, I thought I'd have another morning of fighting to wake him up" the robot cat gets out of his bed smiling "Good morning Selene, thanks for waking Nobita up"

"Good morning Doraemon. No problem, since I don't sleep much I was preparing for today and I took the opportunity to wake him up, thanks for helping me with this too in fact" What Selene says makes Doraemon a little nervous.

"Uhhh. Are you sure you want to do it? I mean, you can do more with the bracelet and it's true that you'll learn more about the humans on Earth. But it's a bit risky, I've heard that there were more strange cases in Tokyo because of Scarlet Moon."

"Don't worry, they won't be able to do much limited by sunlight, besides, I'm strong, I'll be able to defend myself, Nobita and you. Everything will be fine." Selene was so confident that Doraemon just exhaled tiredly.

"Nobita, what about that patch on your neck? What happened to you?" Shizuka had noticed the patch that the raven had put on and that there was the bite that would take a while to disappear.

The boy just laughs quietly as he puts his hand on the patch, although the bite marks still hurt a little "Oh, this? It's just that I hit myself really hard yesterday and I put a patch on myself, you know, I'm kind of clumsy."

"More like very clumsy, but we all know that already." Suneo says that and he along with the robust boy laugh quietly. "Or could it be that a vampire bit you?"

Nobita was first a little irritated but then he became nervous as he put his hand back on the patch "N-no, it's just a hit and that's it!" That reaction startled Shizuka who didn't take her eyes off the patch.

"Of course. How could something that doesn't exist bite you?" Gian joins in the mockery and all Nobita can do is laugh nervously.

"Shizuka. Do you know that the strange events we were talking about the other day keep happening after midnight? So far they haven't been able to figure out what or who is behind it" Dekisugi says to which Shizuka, Suneo and Gian are startled, except Nobita who just makes a long face because he knows that it was the work of the Scarlet Moon vampires and therefore he couldn't say anything about Selene yet for fear that they would think she did those things.

Nobita knows that humans tend to point quickly before asking.

"Is it true that another hospital was attacked in their blood bank?" Shizuka says that and Dekisugi nods.

"What kind of sick person would steal blood bags? Yuck!" Gian makes a disgusted face but looks at Nobita "Although surely CERTAIN someone will say again that it was a vampire's fault." The pair laugh again, some other kids who were nearby also laughed quietly, now everyone was going to find out that he believed in vampires.

"We've been through so much and we've even seen aliens. How is it possible that you still doubt vampires?! I can't wait to take off my eyepatch and show the bite!" Nobita clenches his fists in anger as he thinks about that but sighs as he remembers how the platinum girl was kind to him "Although... That would only make me lose the trust Selene gave me, I'm frustrated because I have to keep quiet yet, but... I can't do that to her"

The silly boy just changes the answer he was going to say "Umm... Yeah, I think thinking they were vampires was childish of me. I won't say that again" Both Gian and Suneo are surprised, especially Shizuka who was thinking for a moment that her friend's behavior was a bit strange, he was a very stubborn boy when he had a theory and it was hard for him to change his mind even for days even crying and refuting that what he said made sense, so he found that (quick acceptance) somewhat strange on his part.

"Uh, so you're not going to insist on that anymore? Wow, that's kind of boring and unusual." Suneo sighs because if Nobita doesn't insist anymore, they can't keep making fun of him, at least not on that subject for now.

The teacher enters the classroom and all the children stand up to greet him before sitting down again. "Good morning students, I'm sorry for the delay, but I received a last-minute call from the principal, he informed me that a new student from a far away country will be joining our class. She should be arriving soon, so please be nice to her."

The news sparks curiosity in the children, it's been a long time since a new person joined the classroom. "What will he be like? Where will she come from? Will she be a good person?" were some of the questions they were all asking each other. The clumsy boy senses something but then shakes his head in denial with a "No, I don't think so."

But the glasses boy's premonition was only confirmed, as when the door opened, the one who came in was none other than...

Selene!

She wasn't wearing her usual Victorian gothic clothes, but a short dress in keeping with the style worn by the girls in the classroom, but violet and black, a black headband, with white socks and violet shoes, although now she was wearing the school's standard white shoes. She had the bracelet to protect her and the red backpack that the girls wear for school.

She walks with her eyes closed and smiling standing in front of everyone, opening her eyes and revealing her violet eyes surprised the children even more, they were bright and beautiful, like a pair of well polished amethysts, she also wore a magentun necklace like the one she gave to Nobita, who also had his but it was under his long-sleeved yellow shirt.

The vampiress had her fangs hidden and she didn't have her pointed ears either but human ones, but she still had her pale porcelain skin, the teacher asks her to introduce herself while Nobita was the only one who was shocked because his friend dared to enter more into the human world, now as an elementary school student, but he couldn't help but think that she looked cute in human clothes from... Wherever she got her from.

As expected of a vampire princess, she takes the edge of her dress' skirt and bows to greet "Good morning, my name is Vasilescu Selene. I come from a far away country, I hope we get along well, I arrived in this city a short time ago, I'm still getting used to the surroundings" She stands up straight while smiling sweetly "I'm so glad to see such a picturesque group"

Again, as expected from the charm of a vampiress, the boys in the classroom got a big blush on their cheeks from how pretty she was and that smile she gave everyone, while the girls were enchanted by her shiny platinum hair, as well as her refined way of treating others. Nobita still couldn't get over his astonishment that his housemate was now also his schoolmate.

"Wow, she's so cute" Gian and Suneo let out a sigh while their cheeks were red.

"Her hair is like a doll's, it's beautiful" Shizuka smiles at meeting her new classmate.

"I wonder what country she's from, her style is very refined, she must live in a mansion or something like that. I know" Suneo, encouraged by the vampire charm taking effect on the boys in the classroom, raises his hand to speak "Excuse me Selene. Could you tell us what part of the city you're living in?"

Selene is startled by Suneo's question, but smiles directly at Nobita who also couldn't help but fall under the charm even though she's been living in his house for a day "Thanks for asking, actually, let's say I'm on a learning plan about his... lifestyle. For now I'm living in Nobita's house"

And that was just the beginning of the day for the silly boy

"His family welcomed me while I was learning about this city, they were very kind to me. I hope I answered you well" The vampire smiles while covering her mouth slightly.

"(SELENE, YOU CAN'T SAY YOU LIVE IN MY HOUSE JUST LIKE THAT!)" The vampire link that could make them communicate with each other through their minds will really be of great help in cases like that.

The vampire laughs softly while looking at him "(Did I lie?)"

Nobita holds his head with his face like a tomato "(Y-you haven't, but... A little tact when saying things doesn't hurt either, I-it just makes me feel a little sorry)" The boy curls up in the double desk chair trying to hide from the gazes of his classmates.

"Okay, everyone, calm down. Please make Vasilescu comfortable. Go sit young lady, you can use the aisle seat at the double desk where Nobi is" says the teacher as the vampire thanks with another bow and walks towards Nobita.

"You really kept that hidden, huh?" Gian smiles at Nobita as he stands up and pats him on the back. "A cute girl is going to live in your house and you didn't tell us anything! Now I understand why you don't want to talk about vampires anymore, your mind is already on something else!"

"I'm so jealous, I wanted to be her friend first, Selene looks like she's very sophisticated, like she's a noble or something" Suneo sighs feeling defeated

"N-no, it's just that...! She needed a home while she's in town and mom said it was okay." Nobita was still bright red from the tremendous surprise of the day. Shizuka was also startled by the (living together) thing, although Selene seemed nice to her, she found that curious.

Yasuo, a boy who always wore a cap and was another friend of theirs sat with Haru behind Nobita, Haru was a chubby boy who was his friend. The boy, although he didn't have his cap on because he was in the classroom, looked into the conversation. "So that means she helped take care of you while you were sick yesterday, right?"

Selene arrives at the desk, sitting down at the seat next to the hallway, leaving her backpack aside. "Of course, since he helped me by letting me stay in a spot in his room, I took care of him when he had nightmares because he was tired. And when he had to eat his rice soup, I-"

"(S-Selene!)" Nobita puts his finger on his mouth so that she doesn't say more information, the platinum girl looks at that and laughs quietly. The boy didn't know if the lack of discretion was the vampires' thing or just hers. The boy's close friends were left speechless, the boys turned red and with a feeling of envy and Shizuka was stunned, all while the vampire smiles. "S-she means that with the help of Doraemon and his gadgets, she has a room whose door is connected to a wall of my room because we didn't have any room at home, she has her own space by a three-dimensional door!"

The "Oh..." from his friends brought relief to the boy with glasses as he was able to clarify details, the teacher indicates that classes must begin and everyone pays attention.

"I'm glad you helped Nobita, I wanted to visit him yesterday but my mother sent me to run errands and I couldn't do it" The girl with pigtails whispers to the platinum girl, who nods, taking the gratitude well.

"You're welcome, it's obvious that you're a good friend of Nobita. I hope we get along" Selene turns to look at her deskmate "(Your friend is very kind)"

"(She really is. But how did you get in? Did you use hypnosis again?)" Nobita thinks, starting a mental conversation while both of them tried to pay attention to the class.

Doraemon helped me prepare with a curious camera that changes clothes and gave me some books about human traditions and basic subjects of a school, since I learn quickly, I was able to memorize almost everything, plus he modified my bracelet a little so my ears look human. I'm curious to know what this environment is like.)" Selene thinks, taking a couple of glances at her friend. "(Remember that you were also going to show me around the city today)"

"(Well now I'll have to try harder, heh. My friend is called Shizuka, and the pair in front of her are Gian and Suneo, they're not that friendly sometimes, but they have their moments. And yeah, I remember that, let's do it after school.)" He exhales tiredly as he looks sideways as Shizuka asks a math problem to Dekisugi next to him. "Anyway, Shizuka already has plans to go with Dekisugi to the library today from what I know. I'll spend time helping Selene adjust, I promised her."

The young man thinks to himself and looks a little at his new friend who also looks at him with a smile "I don't know but, with her around, today I don't feel irritated by it."

They both continue to sneak glances at each other while writing in their notebooks and smiling at each other, all while Shizuka notices their behavior in the same way.
