"Uncle Caleb!" Locke tries to help the earl, but watches as Lady Mara looks at them all maliciously while holding the long stake.
"You're just now acting like a Vampire King, Caleb. Too bad you're doing it when it's too late, I'll kill you, your impure daughter, and the council, I'll name myself Vampire Queen. I'll have to lock my children in a cell, but if I reeducate them, the pair will be useful and my offspring will know that I'm doing it for us! DIE!"
"Father!" Selene flies towards Lady Mara and stops her from stabbing him by holding her arm "Guys, get my father and Zurie out of here!" The twins nod and take both the Vampire King and his little brother away from the problem, the council ended up leaving to get to safety, which was no surprise.
"We have to help Selene!" The guys from Earth look at Doraemon who starts searching in his pocket taking out the air cannons again. "Nobita, give me your gun, this will be more useful for a contact battle"
The silly boy returns the ray gun to his friend, who puts it away and takes out the Denkomaru Lightning Sword giving it to him "Do you think it can even take on a vampire?" says Nobita with some doubts, vampires were faster and stronger than a human, which put him at a disadvantage.
"Don't worry, the sword will be able to detect her movements even if she is someone fast, and with the super gloves you will be able to respond well to her blows. Now move! We aren't finished it seems!" Doraemon points to one of the windows, it seems that there were still half a dozen Scarlet Moon vampires who entered through the broken window including Demetrius, the vampire who was on Earth months ago.
As Nobita runs towards Lady Mara, Demetrius points at Gian as he flies over with the reinforcements. "Ha, but that kid looks like the little girl I bit, he looks so dumb!"
Suneo and Shizuka back off a bit as they already knew what was coming; an aura of anger forms around the burly boy, if he was a vampire, his eyes would already be bright red "SO IT WAS YOU WHO BIT JAIKO THAT TIME?! I'M GONNA BEAT YOU UP!" Gian puts the cannon in his hand and with the takecopter he flies off, launching himself towards Demetrius "NO ONE BLEEDS MY LITTLE SISTER!"
"What the...?!" Demetrius gets punched in the face by Gian who uses the cannon to fight off the remaining vampires.
"Ah so that's the one who did it, he's already finished" Suneo says smiling nervously.
"I wonder what happened to the other vampire who tried to bite me?" Shizuka says stunned, although certainly everyone who read this already knows what happened to him.
"I don't think we want to know. Anyway, let's get this over with" Doraemon sees that after leaving the Vampire King and his little brother, the pair of Vasilescu twins fly to help Gian, which makes him smile "It's good to know that his children didn't play along, that says a lot about them"
While Doraemon, Shizuka and Suneo use the takecopters to help. Lady Mara slaps Selene who falls to the ground. "Another deja vu, I slapped that converted vampire like that before she finally weakened, I confessed everything to her. You can't imagine the pleasure I felt when she died crying for not being able to do ANYTHING against me!"
The platinum girl tries to get up, but using a handkerchief, Lady Mara throws her a small vervain bomb like the one Zurie received the day before, the little girl only coughs dizzily, but since it was a minimal load it only leaves her a little weak, although her heart was already weak "Why do you hate us so much Aunt Mara?!" Selene tears up partly because of the vervain and how sad she was "Why?!"
"I already told you why! Are you stupid or don't you think?! You're not worthy, I'm, full stop! It's obvious how influenced you were when you met that stupid human boy! I'll be very happy to take your friend from you as well, like I did with that converted. I can already hear his screams of pain, begging me for mercy while I finish draining his blood to death after I get what I want. After all, that stupid brat is just a blood bank like all humans!"
Lady Mara's psychopathic smile talking about what she would do to the silly boy annoys Selene, she tries to get up but it's difficult because of the vervain that had her disoriented "L-leave my friend out of this!"
"An impure vampire isn't going to tell me what to do, after all, it's thanks to me that you two met, so I have total freedom to decide on what I do with the food"
Selene rolls her eyes red, it was the only thing she could do because her body wasn't responding well "Maybe it was because of your idea that I ended up on Earth, but I'm not going to thank you for that. You don't deserve it! We both met through a dream and a link may have led us to the other, but Nobita and I were the ones who decided to be friends and that was NOT because of you"
Lady Mara just makes a face of disgust "Typical of the weak side of the Vasilescu: Preferring inferior species"
She raises the long stake to eliminate Selene, but it's immediately intercepted by the automatic sword at the moment of wanting to stab her. Nobita holds the sword against the villain's long stake and with one movement he pushes her back thanks to the power of the super gloves.
("Nobita! Get away, it's dangerous, she won't have any mercy on killing whoever gets in her way!") Selene kneels down looking at her friend in front of her in a combat stance holding the sword.
The boy with glasses looks at his friend and smiles at her ("Don't worry, it's not the first time my friends and I have been through something like this, let me continue with the rest, okay?")
Selene is worried, but at the same time she trusted her human friend, she has suffered disappointments in her life, but she knew she could put her trust in him, it wasn't the vampire bond that told her, it was their friendship forged over months, so she smiles at him giving him a positive answer.
The adult vampire is upset by the boy's recent action. "You, don't get involved, cattle!"
As much as Lady Mara tried to hurt Nobita with the long stake, the lightning sword intercepted her attacks and with the plus of the super gloves, he was fighting the villain.
The woman spreads her wings to rise and fly, and tries to stab him by launching herself from the air, but Nobita puts on the takecopter and flies up to avoid her, the woman already desperate to claim one more victim was not in her right mind, if she ever had them, and crashes to the ground near Selene.
The little vampire sees how her aunt gets up smiling maniacally flying fast towards her human friend who manages to use the sword to avoid the attacks. That frustrates her because she didn't want to be left behind and wanted to go with Nobita, so she tries to make an effort to get up.
When Doraemon and the rest were managing to subdue the missing reinforcements, Nobita was already getting tired, as much as he has an automatic sword that guided him and gloves that helped him gain more strength, his stamina was still regular, the boy breathes tiredly while he and Lady Mara were floating in the air.
The woman can't help but smile with pride. "Are you getting tired already, little one? That's the bad thing about inferior species, they only entertain for a short time. I would tell you something like (it's better that you run away if you want to live) but you're still going to die even if you run away." The vampire shrugs. "You won't be able to avoid it, you were sentenced to be food for superior species like us since the day you were born, just like your friends. It's the fate that awaits you and the beings on your planet."
The human boy tries to stand firm and defend himself, but he was tired and his hands holding the sword were shaking, which Lady Mara takes advantage of by quickly using her great speed to tackle him against the wall, causing him to drop his sword. Doraemon realizes this when with the others they were able to catch the remaining vampires. "NOBITA!"
Lady Mara steps back looking at the boy who was against the wall with his arms and legs extended by the impact "I measured my strength because I don't want the food to go to waste. It's better if I advance my victory banquet!"
The evil woman opens her mouth showing her fangs launching herself directly at Nobita, who tries to get out of the small fissure that was formed when he was rammed into the wall, but he was already tired.
However, Selene with red eyes stands in front having the strength to fly recovering a little by the motivation to protect her friend, she had something behind her hands stopping Lady Mara for a moment "If you want to devour my friend you will have to go over me, even with vervain and everything I'll protect those who matter to me! Dare! Or are you afraid of what an impure vampire like you have been calling me for a while now will do? I'm not afraid of you, not anymore!"
The adult vampire growls but smiles at the provocation, so she lunges at the girl. "Selene!" Nobita screams, scared by how she was the one protecting him now.
("Nobita please close your eyes, trust me") is what the clumsy boy hears in his mind from the platinum girl who looks seriously at her aunt, so he listens to her and closes his eyes.
Because just as she trusted him so much, he also trusted her.
"I'm sorry Aunt Mara, but you've already hurt us all so much, you left me no other choice" was what the young vampire thought as the woman approached with a psychopathic face
What the villain of this adventure didn't expect was that the girl quickly put her hands in front of her holding the mysterious object, when she launched herself at the girl, she felt something in her chest, everyone was surprised to see how Lady Mara stepped back trembling and released the long stake.
The reason she did that was that the stake she previously wanted to stab herself with in Selene's body was now stuck in her chest, the woman was looking at Selene with hatred as her body began to turn gray. She grabbed the girl by the neck, but as her strength was already minimal, she couldn't strangle her. "You... You just left my child without his mother... you... IMPURE MONSTER!"
"You're wrong, aunt." Selene looks at the woman with tears in her eyes. She didn't want to get to that point, but her aunt left her no other choice. She wasn't happy about it because she was still in pain from losing her trusted family member. "It was you who decided to leave your own family behind for ambition. You disappointed the twins, you disappointed my father, you disappointed your planet, you disappointed my mother, you disappointed me."
"And above all, you disappointed Zurie, so I didn't really bring you to this point, YOU did it."
With a loud cry of anger, pain and frustration, Lady Mara fell apart on the ground, now she was just dust with a stake on top of her. Everything was finally over.
Nobita was finally able to get out of the crack in the wall as soon as he opened his eyes, approaching the platinum girl with the copter cap "Yay, you did it Selene, the Scarlet Moon have...!"
But the boy's smile disappears leaving a look of concern, his vampire friend wasn't happy, she began to cry covering her face with her hands and seeing her human friend near her, she hugged him while still crying, she wanted comfort from a person she could trust.
Nobita understood that it wasn't the time to celebrate, because there wasn't much to celebrate really, Selene was hurt, hurt because even someone from her family had done so much harm to her.
She traumatized her by attacking her as a child with a false identity which he also used to attack her on Earth and at her ceremony, he took her mother away from her, almost took her father away from her, manipulated her by playing with her feelings at her most vulnerable moment creating a false maternal affection towards her, made her separate from her otherworldly friend for a time, almost poisoned her, physically manipulated her almost making her devour her friend while her soul watched the act in horror and led her to make the decision to end her.
The silly boy sighs sadly as he hugs his friend. He knew that what she wanted at that moment was to let off steam while everything returned to a supposed normality. The rest would come later.
