Summary: Asta, Yuno, Mora, and the others finally get to the treasure chamber, and they're in awe at the mountain of treasure in front of them; Yuno finds a strange scroll with strange writing that was in Mora's vision, and then his grimoire does something strange.

The Golden Dawns and the Black Bulls stared down at an unconscious Mars, who was restrained in a steel coffin by Klaus. After Asta's battle ended, Mimosa was fully recovered. Then, Klaus confiscated Mars' grimoire as well.

"There, that should hold him." Klaus said as he adjusted his glasses.

Asta walked up next to Klaus while chomping leaves in his mouth.

"You sure that binding spell's gonna be enough?" Asta asked.

"Are you questioning the strength of my magic?" Klaus rebuked with a glare. "It's a sturdy spell that won't be broken by an injured mage. Plus, I have his grimoire."

"Okay, okay, defensive much?" Asta smiled. He held up a leaf to Klaus. "Here. Have some. It's good."

"I don't want your half-chewed leftovers." Klaus refused.

"Yuno? Mora?" Asta offered as he held the leaf toward his friends.

"I think I'll pass." Yuno replied.

"Same here." Mora responded.

"How about you two?" Asta asked as he held the leaf toward Ares and Athena. "You want some?"

"No thank you." Ares and Athena replied as they shook their heads.

"I'm so relieved that none of us were seriously injured." Mimosa said with a smile.

"Are you sure you should be up and about already?" Noelle asked concernedly.

"Oh, yes, it's fine. I'm mostly healed by now. I have you to thank for protecting me so valiantly." Mimosa said.

"No, I didn't do anything special. I just couldn't leave a dimwit like you to fend for herself." Noelle said.

"Well, you have my gratitude." Mimosa smiled.

"Fine, whatever." Noelle said. Her eyes moved to Asta with an embarrassed blush on her cheeks. "Asta, do you think you could do something about yourself already?"

"Jeez, what am I doin' wrong this time?" Asta asked with a frown.

"Just look at the way you're dressed!" Noelle said, pointing her finger to Asta's tattered shirt.

"So why are you blushing when I'm the one half-naked?" Asta questioned.

"Don't be ridiculous. I am not blushing." Noelle denied as she looked away and crossed her arms over her chest.

Asta held his shredded black robe.

"My robe, though. Aw, just look at it. The poor thing got seriously torn up." Asta noted. "Magna's totally gonna kill me for this."

"Vanessa'll fix it up when we get back." Luck reassured.

"You think she can?" Asta asked. "It's in really bad shape."

Luck nodded.

Shameful. Klaus thought. I still cannot believe that we needed the assistance of the Black Bulls.

Klaus then readjusted his glasses.

"As I was certain we would, we arrived here first and, thus, are the winners of the competition." Klaus said proudly. "However, this once, I will allow you to accompany us into the treasure hall."

"Come on, Four-Eyes, could you be any more high and mighty?!" Asta shouted as he moved up to Klaus. "Thank you so very much, you enormous jerk!"

"You're welcome, and shut your mouth before it gets you in trouble." Klaus said.

"Oh, have I upset you, Sir Spectacles?" Asta barked scornfully. "I'm terribly sorry."

"I would chastise you for that, but I simply don't have the time for petty, adolescent squabbles with a Black Bull runt." Klaus snapped.

"Oh, please, Sir Spectacles, I beg your forgiveness!" Asta retorted sarcastically.

We're not just involved, we're committed. Yuno and Mora thought as they exchanged annoyed faces at each other.

Noelle, Luck, Mimosa, Yuno, Athena, Ares, and Mora watched the senseless arguing between Asta and Klaus going on back and forth.

Mora rolled her eyes with sigh and walked up between Asta and Klaus before pushing them away from each other.

"Look, it doesn't matter who got here first. What matters is that both squads worked together to defeat that Diamond mage." Mora said firmly. "So, quit this pointless squabbling already."

Suddenly, Mora closed her eyes and groaned through clenched teeth as she clutched her head with both hands.

"Mora?" Asta said.

"Mora, what's wrong?" Yuno asked with worry.

When Mora opened her eyes, they changed into pure white.

"Oh my." Mimosa gasped.

"What happened to her eyes?" Noelle asked.

"She's getting a vision." Ares replied.

"A vision?" Klaus, Asta, and Yuno repeated.

"She gets them sometimes. They're random and she's only able to see a small segment of the future." Athena explained. "But this...is different. I can't explain it, but it's almost as if...something's calling to her."

Mora moaned as she started falling slowly backward.

"Mora!" Yuno and Asta shouted as they ran up to Mora.

With that, Mora's view went black.

Mora's eyes shot wide open with a stunned gasp. She looked around and found herself standing on a white cloud in a green-colored sky.

"Hello?" Mora called.

Mora's voice echoed throughout the sky.

"This is crazy." Mora said to herself. "This gotta be the weirdest vision I've ever..."

The sound of a childlike giggle suddenly echoed.

"Hello? Who's there?" Mora called again.

A small glowing wisp of green mana slowly appeared out of nowhere and floated towards Mora, who watched it with a cautious expression. The glowing mana wisp slowly began to take form into a fluttering fairy.

"Whoa." Mora breathed in awe. "What...are you?"

The glowing fairy didn't answer Mora's question. Instead, it flew away.

"Hey, wait!" Mora shouted. "Where are you going?"

Several clouds began rearranging themselves to form a long path in the middle of the sky. Without hesitation, Mora sets off after the glowing fairy and quickened her pace. After a few minutes of running on the cloudy path, she stopped and saw the glowing fairy hovering above the podium at the end of the path. Mora walked up to the podium and stared at the scroll on the top of it.

"What is this? A scroll?" Mora questioned.

When Mora reached to touch the scroll with her hand, a powerful essence of wind magic started swirling around it.

"What the?!" Mora exclaimed with wide eyes. "Is this…Yuno's magic?"

Then, a powerful wind engulfed Mora and blinded her vision.

"Mora!"

"Mora, wake up!"

Mora groaned while her vision blurred in and out of focus. She slowly focused her eyes clearly as Yuno held her up and cradled her in his arms. Mora also noticed Asta, Ares, Athena, Noelle, Mimosa, and Klaus surrounding her.

"Mora, are you alright?" Yuno asked softly.

"I'm-I'm fine." Mora replied.

"Are you okay?" Mimosa asked as Yuno and Asta helped Mora up off the ground.

"Did you have a vision?" Asta asked.

"Wait. How did you know...?" Mora asked with slightly wide eyes.

"Ares and Athena told us." Noelle answered.

"We're sorry, Mora. But we were worried." Ares said.

"It's alright. I'm not mad at you and Athena for that." Mora replied. She looked back at her friends and squadmates. "It's true. I do get visions from time to time. But this time, it was different."

"What did you see?" Yuno asked.

"I was…standing in a cloud in the middle of the sky. Then, I saw this…small fairy and followed it to this scroll. And when I touch it, it sends out a strong wind on me. Kinda like your magic, Yuno."

"I see." Yuno said.

"We'll discuss that later." Klaus said. "Right now, we're off to the treasure hall."

"Let's go!" Asta yelled. He stood in front of Klaus and held his sword high. "Whatever's hidden in there, we're gonna claim it in the name of the Clover Kingdom's Magic Knights!"

"Will you stop yelling?!" Klaus yelled.

"You're one to talk, loudmouth." Noelle and Mora scolded.

The Black Bulls and the Golden Dawns stood together right in front of the large double doors.

So, how do we get in? Asta and Klaus thought in unison.

"There's probably a cipher here somewhere that will allow us to open the door." Klaus spoke.

"Go on and find it, Four-Eyes." Asta said.

"Be quiet! And it's not Four-Eyes. It's Klaus!" Klaus retorted.

Luck stepped forward and touched the door as he examined the magic coming from it and then looked back at Asta.

"Looks like it's made of magic, so you should be able to slice right through. Have at." Luck said.

"All right!" Asta shouted.

"Please! As if you'd be able to counter such powerful magic." Klaus scoffed.

"Listen, Four Eyes, you just witnessed Asta defeating that guy with his sword, so cut the high and mighty bullcrap." Mora chided.

"Stop calling me that!" Klaus countered. "And you will show your superior some respect!"

"Heh, as if, four eyes." Mora said as she rolled her eyes and placed her hands on her hips.

Klaus growled.

Asta glared at Klaus with a growl. He held his sword and swung it powerfully, slicing the double doors and destroying the magic that was placed on them.

"There, see?" Asta said with a chuckle.

A blinding flash of light illuminated from the other side of the cutout opening. When the light diminished, the Black Bulls and the Golden Dawns looked at the large room that was filled with magnificent gold and jewels. Everyone looked at the treasure with surprised expressions on their faces.

"This is awesome!" Asta beamed with star-shaped eyes. "It's like a mountain of treasure."

With a happy laugh, Asta started running toward the treasure.

"Hey, careful. We don't know what's in there." Noelle warned.

The Black Bulls and the Golden Dawns entered the room and began rummaging through the treasure. Asta picked up a gold communication tool and yelped in amaze when he opened it and looked at the hologram of Luck. Mimosa wrapped herself in a perfectly red glittering cloak while Noelle examined a floating bubble.

"Enough! Cease your fiddling!" Klaus shouted. "There could be priceless magical artifacts in here!"

"Pokin' around some's not gonna hurt, Captain Short Fuse." Asta said.

"Use my proper name." Klaus said.

"Ok, Mister Specs." Asta snapped.

"Don't think I won't hurt you!" Klaus retorted.

"Oh, I'm scared now!" Asta countered sarcastically.

"You wretch!" Klaus shouted irritably.

"See? I was right. You got a short fuse." Asta said.

"Only because you insist on baiting me, you insufferable twerp." Klaus replied.

Mora rolled her eyes in annoyance at Asta and Klaus's bickering. She spotted a small golden jewelry case that caught her attention. She picked up and opened it and saw five different gemstones inside. She stared in awe at a pinkish-purple heart, a red star gem, a blue flower, a yellow diamond, and a purplish-black crescent moon.

"Oh, wow." Mora said to herself. "I am definitely keeping these."

Ares and Athena flew over towards Mora as they carried interesting items from the treasure hoard. Athena held a rose gold pocket watch with midnight blue starry sky pattern engraved on the cover while Ares held a necklace that had a silver metal chain and a dark yellow sun-shaped pendant attached to it.

"Ares and I found these artifacts." Athena said.

"Maybe they could be useful for your new inventions." Ares said.

"That would be perfect." Mora smiled. "I can wait to test them out."

Then, Yuno walked up to Mora from behind.

"Mora, you said you found a scroll in your vision." Yuno said as Mora turned around and faced him. "Any idea where it might be?"

"Well, in my vision, it was on top of the podium and that was it." Mora replied. "I don't know how we're gonna find one around here."

As Yuno picked up a golden urn in his hand, a small green wisp came out and danced around Yuno. Mora took notice and watched the dancing wisp along with Ares and Athena.

"Wait a minute. That's the wisp from the vision." Mora said with a gasp.

The green wisp then flew off. Yuno and Mora followed the green wisp that led them to a podium. They walked up to see a scroll resting on top. The scroll exhaled powerful wind mana that Yuno and Mora were able to detect.

"That's it. That's the scroll." Mora gasped.

Yuno picked up the scroll and opened it. He and Mora began to examine strange writing on it.

"What's this?" Yuno wondered. "This writing...I've never seen it before."

"Beats me." Mora said with a shrug.

That mana… Athena thought to herself. It's similar to me and Ares.

Could this be…an essence of a spirit? Ares wondered.

Suddenly, Yuno's grimoire and the scroll started to glow brightly in green light at the same time. Yuno, Mora, Ares, and Athena gasped in surprise. The bright green glow illuminated the whole room that caught everyone's gasping attention from different directions. Once the glowing light disappeared, Yuno, Mora, Ares, and Athena looked back and saw the mysterious writing on the scroll had unexpectedly vanished.

"Huh? It's gone." Yuno muttered.

"That was weird." Mora murmured.

Athena and Ares exchanged serious faces.

Klaus and Mimosa approached Yuno, Mora, Ares, and Athena.

"What's going on, you two?" Klaus asked. "What was that light?"

"We don't know." Mora replied.

"You shouldn't have touched that, Yuno." Klaus said. "Now, put it back where it belongs."

Yuno closed the scroll and set it back on the pedestal.

Then, Klaus looked at Mars' grimoire, which he noticed two different covers were stitched together.

His grimoire, and what a singular one it is. Klaus thought curiously. All patched together. Interesting. He looked at Yuno and Mora. They got the four-leaf clovers. He looked at Asta. And he got something that's so dirty that it's barely recognizable. I guess you can never can tell.

"Has anybody found anything good?" Luck called out as he searched around on a mountain of treasure.

Then suddenly, Klaus gasped. He looked down to see a thin, sudden mist of crystal magic coming out from Mars' grimoire, which unexpectedly shattered the invisible binding spell that was placed on it. Mars' grimoire then glowed and shot out of Klaus' hand as Luck immediately sensed a powerful magical presence.

"This magic…" Luck muttered as he turned his head to the triangular hole on the door. "Quick, get back!"

The large door suddenly exploded and shattered that revealed to be a glaring Mars in his crystal golem-like armor. This time, his armor looked more harpe-like. Mars then sprouted several crystals from the ground and ensnared Yuno, Luck, and Klaus by surprise.

No, impossible! Klaus exclaimed in shock. My binding spell should have held him. He was unconscious, injured. How did he recover in such a short time? His eyes widened at the sight of flames flaring out all around him. Wait, is that…Flame Recovery Magic? But how? Each mage can have only one magic attribute. The four elements, fire, wind, water, earth. A mage is imbued with mana from one of these. These attributes interact in specific ways. Fire is strong against wind but weak to water. It is a known law that a mage can only use one kind of magic stemming from one of these attributes or its derivatives. Yet, in defiance of that law, he can wield two types of magic. And, while he clearly commands attack magic, he can cast recovery spells, too? Inconceivable! His eyes then moved to the turquoise jewels embedded on Mars' forehead. Those jewels! Is this what came from the Diamond Kingdoms experiments?

Through the dusty smoke, Noelle held up her wand and took aim.

"If I put out those flames, it should weaken him." Noelle said.

Just as Noelle started to conjure up her water magic, Mars immediately turned his glare to Noelle and swung his crystallized fist into a powerful punch that struck her, knocking her right past Mimosa and crashing on her back to the ground with an open, bloodied wound in her chest.

"Noelle's hit!" Mimosa cried.

"NOELLE!" Asta yelled. He quickly pulled his sword from his grimoire. "Damn you!" He charged forward to Mars. "How dare you hurt my friend?!"

"I've figured out what your ability is now." Mars responded with a smirk as he turned a page from his grimoire. "Seems that sword of yours destroys any and all magic." Several harpe-shaped crystal blades appeared and levitated in front of him. "But what if the magic is faster than your blade?"

The harpe-shaped crystal blades started to spin around in a sawlike manner and launched toward Asta.

Asta quickly swung his sword and knocked some of the harpe crystal blades away. But the harpe crystal blades were coming so fast that he barely had enough speed to deflect them all.

Too quick! Asta thought.

While Asta managed to knock the harpe crystal blades that kept coming at him, Mars made an advantageous move and quickly charged right in front of him and struck him down with his crystallized fist. Even though Asta's sword managed to absorb most of the impact from Mars' crystallized punch, he was sent flying across the room and straight through the wall that knocked him out on the floor.

Mars stared at the hole in the wall for a moment. He narrowed his eyes and began walking toward Asta.

"Only those who are strong will survive. The weak deserve death." Mars said.

"Noelle! Noelle!"

Mimosa's loud voice caught Mars's attention. Mars paused and turned to see Mimosa healing Noelle with her magic, making him glare with a growl.

"We're not done!" Klaus yelled. "Don't give up!"

Yuno, Luck, and Klaus were trying their best to break free from Mars' crystals.

Mora, Ares, and Athena stood by Mimosa's side.

"Is your cousin gonna be okay?" Mora asked.

"She's in bad 's no time for Dream Healing Flower Cradle." Mimosa replied. She turned to her grimoire, which quickly flipped through pages until she found the right spell to heal her cousin. Plant Recovery Magic: Princess Healing Flower Robe!

Several vines and flowers started to grow and covered Mimosa's outfit in the form of a plantlike dress with a pair of wing-like ornaments on her back.

"Stay strong for me." Mimosa said as she looked down at Noelle while pouring her magical power into her injured cousin. This is the best Recovery Spell I can muster now. It has to work! Please, you can't die! Keep fighting!

"That's some powerful magic." Mora commented.

"It is." Mimosa said. "You know, I've never told Noelle before, but she has always worked hard, and I have always admired her for it."

Mimosa's spell was beginning to close Noelle's wound.

Then, Mars stepped forward and stood towards the girls.

"Only those who are strong will survive. The weak deserve death." Mars repeated. "Only those who are strong will survive. The weak deserve death."

Mimosa, Mora, Ares, and Athena turned their heads with wide eyes and startled gasps.

Klaus, Yuno, and Luck desperately watched Mimosa, Mora, Ares, and Athena in the heat of trouble with Mars.

If I could only use my grimoire! Klaus, Yuno, and Luck screamed.

Mars conjured up harpe-shaped crystal blades and pointed them towards Mimosa, Mora, Ares, Athena, and Noelle.

"Only those who are strong will survive. The weak deserve death!" Mars said.

The harpe-shaped crystal blades spun rapidly and launched towards the girls.

"Mimosa!" Klaus screamed.

"Mora!" Yuno screamed.

Suddenly, Mora moved in front of Mimosa and lifted one hand forward. She generated a force field of solid fire around herself, Ares, Athena, Mimosa, and Noelle that strongly protected them from Mars' harpe-shaped crystal blades. Once Mora dropped the force field, she glared at Mars, who looked at her with narrow eyes.

"You." Mars said. "You're strong, I'll give you that. But you kept getting in my way. You'll be the first to die."

"Yeah, that will ever happen!" Mora retorted. Her grimoire floated in front of her and opened itself wide. I haven't got the use of this power, but it looks like I've got no other choice.

Mora took a deep breath and put on a determined face.

"Ares, let's go!" Mora hollered. "Athena, protect Mimosa and Noelle!"

"Understood!" Athena nodded.

Ares flew forward and circled rapidly around Mora, engulfing herself in a tornado of fire while Mora rose up in the air. When the fiery tornado dissipated, her attire altered into a stylized fiery red cheongsam with slits at the sides and skintight red pants that are made entirely of reptilian skin along with red ankle-high boots. She also has a red half chaumet tiara now on her head and a pair of large two dragonlike wings on her back.

Spirit Magic: Spirit Dive! Mora yelled.

Yuno, Klaus, Luck, and Mimosa looked at Mora with shocking gasps.

"This mana…is intense." Mars muttered in slight surprise. "I can't believe it. Those fire spirits chose this girl who keeps getting in her way."

With a smirk on her face, Mora charged towards Mars at incredible speed. The furious Mars unleashed a barrage of harpe-shaped crystal blades at Mora, who swiftly and effortlessly dodged every single one of the crystal blades. When Mora got close enough, her arms were covered in blazing fire in the shape of sharp claws and she started slashing Mars with them.

"What's going on?" Noelle spoke with a weak groan.

Mimosa's eyes widened when she and Athena turned her attention to Noelle, who was trying to sit up.

"Don't strain yourself." Mimosa said in worry.

"I'll be fine." Noelle said. Her eyes moved to Mora. "Is that…Mora?"

"Yes, she merged with Ares and went full power." Athena replied.

"Wait, what?" Noelle asked.

Mars' face quickly went furious as he began striking Mora with his crystallized fists. But Mora evaded them with swift speed and then moved away from him. She lifted her arms above her head and created a large fireball with two rings surrounding it.

"Fire Spirit Magic: Blast Burn!" Mora casted.

Mora brought her hands forward and unleashed the ringed fireball towards Mars.

Mars's eyes widened wide in complete shock, but he quickly charged forward and thrusted his crystallized fist forward. The ringed fireball then blitzed Mars in a violent explosion, making Mars scream in pain.

Yuno, Klaus, Luck, Mimosa, and Noelle looked on with completely shocked faces.

That's incredible. Luck commented.

What an unbelievable display of spirit magic. Klaus thought.

Amazing. Yuno breathed in awe.

Mora's eyes began fluttering with exhaustion as her Spirit Dive form was beginning to extinguish. Ares emerged from Mora and flew next to her. Within the violent explosion, Mars saw Mora's exhaustion as an advantageous chance of a counterattack.

You're not worthy enough to survive! Mars thought with gritted teeth.

Mars formed a harpe-shaped crystal blade and launched it right through the fiery explosion, spinning rapidly and sending it straight to Mora at full speed.

Mora gasped sharply. She looked down and saw the crystal blade piercing her stomach. She spew some blood out of her mouth as she started to plummet and crashed on her back to the ground.

Ares, Mimosa, Athena, and Noelle gasped in utter shock. Klaus and Luck looked on with wide-eyed expressions. But Yuno stared at Mora in a paralyzed daze.

"MORA!" Yuno screamed.
