Chapter 6 (Halloween 2024 part 1)
It was a dark and frightening Halloween night when a crowd of wrestling fans attended the Xtrema wrestling event. The night began as they surrounded the wrestling ring where the CEO stood in her Grim Reaper costume. She wore a large, black cloak, carried a scythe, and had on white face paint in the form of a skull.
"Welcome, ghouls and goblins, to another Halloween Special here at Xtrema! We spared no expense in making this as bone-chilling as we possibly can, even in the matches we set up! Tonight, nine matches will be held made up of everyone who wishes you a spine-tingling All Hallow's Eve! And whoever you believe holds the most Halloween spirit by the end of the night becomes tonight's MVP, who comes with their own bonus check! And so, let's start the match in style!"
*N-Bomb vs Azraella Bloodstone*
The first woman to step into the ring was N-Bomb, who marched her way into the ring with stomps in each step. Once she made it in, everyone got a good look at her in her Bowser costume. After that, Azraella Bloodstone arrived in flickering flashes of light. She entered the ring in her usual wrestling outfit (which to be fair was scary enough). Both wrestlers waited in their corners waiting for the match to start, which would be after Sayuri Rogue's announcement.
"Our first match of the night is standard rules between N-Bomb and Azraella Bloodstone! Pins and submissions count, but if you remain outside the ring after the referee counts to ten or do anything that merits a disqualification, you lose automatically! If both wrestlers are ready, let's start this Halloween Special!"
DING-DING!
N-Bomb started with a running charge to Azraella. The devil woman managed to stop her with a kick that impacted her right in the face. She stopped and turned around to tend to her face, but right when she did, Azraella landed her hand on her shoulder and sank her red claws into it. N-Bomb began yelling in pain before running backward. Azraella was caught in the push and ended up getting pressed to the ropes.
Azraella released N-Bomb after she separated from her and she caught her breath. N-Bomb then struck her fist onto Azraella multiple times until she was flat spread on the mat. N-Bomb stepped on Azraella with both feet on top of her back and used the ropes for leverage. She then added on the pain by stomping on Azraella's back a few times before the referee got involved.
The referee counted to four before N-Bomb got off. She got scolded by the referee before N-Bomb brushed her off and delivered a punt kick to Azraella making her roll over the apron and out of the ring. With the advantage now hers, N-Bomb paced around the ring roaring to the crowd while slapping her own chest like a sumo wrestler.
While she was outside, Azraella noticed a pumpkin right next to her and opened up its top. She found a taser and knew just what to do with it.
Seeing Azraella starting to stand back up, N-Bomb finally decided to head on outside the ring to face her. However, she soon realized she made the decision too late. Just as soon as she stepped onto the apron, Azraella made her move. She ran up to where N-Bomb was and prodded the back of her leg with her taser. N-Bomb spasmed and fell on the apron before falling off. Azraella then grabbed her and Irish whipped her to the barricade that stood between them and the audience.
"1… 2… 3…"
After hearing the referee begin her count, Azraella turned around and returned to the ring, but she wasn't done with her bigger opponent just yet.
"4… 5… 6…"
Azraella climbed up to the top of the nearest corner turnbuckle and looked on outside where N-Bomb was picking herself back up. Once she was back on her own two feet, Azraella launched herself and landed right on top of N-Bomb slamming her back down on the floor. Not only that, but once N-Bomb was down, Azraella tased her again. The crowd roared while the referee was forced to restart her count.
"1… 2… 3…"
Azraella Bloodstone stood back up first and decided she wanted to defeat N-Bomb in the ring as a show of strength. She grabbed N-Bomb by her arm and used all her strength to lift up the heavy woman and throw her back into the ring.
Once she was back inside, Azraella tucked her taser in her boot and got on top of N-Bomb to apply an STF. N-Bomb gritted her teeth trying to endure the pain. Soon, N-Bomb looked like she was about to escape the submission hold. Realizing that, Azraella released the hold and began delivering relentless blows to her before forcing her back up. She then prepared to deliver an Irish whip, but suddenly, N-Bomb reversed the whip, pulls her opponent back in, and landed an elbow blow to her face.
With Azraella stunned, N-Bomb scooped her up and held her over her shoulders wretching her in a torture rack. She pulled onto Azraella's head and leg tightly making her struggle to breathe. While she did that, N-Bomb slipped her hand into Azraella's boot and pulled out her taser. She then flipped her over on her shoulders before sending her down in a Samoan drop. After using her own taser against her after that, she hooked her leg for the pin.
1… 2…
Surprisingly, Azraella Bloodstone kicked out angering N-Bomb. The overweight powerhouse slammed her fist at Azraella's head and forced her back up before tossing her to the corner. She then stuck her taser right at Azraella's body pressing it hard against her. However, much to N-Bomb's surprise, her eyes indicated she was no longer affected by the beams. Azraella then grabbed the taser, pulled it off of her body, and crushed it until it broke into pieces.
N-Bomb was so shocked, she failed to notice Azraella swinging with a backfist and stunning her. Azraella then climbed up to the middle rope in the corner and jumped off. She managed to slam N-Bomb onto her back by latching her hand around her neck and pushing down hard. She wasn't done yet. While her hands were still on N-Bomb's neck, she picked her up and lifted her with a two-handed choke before slamming her back down onto the mat. She then covered her for the pin.
DING-DING!
"The first match came to an end, and Azraella Bloodstone wins! Azraella was lucky enough to find the jack o'lantern with the taser in it and not the empty one, but N-Bomb turned her own luck around by taking the taser away and using it against Azraella! But even still, that wasn't enough for her to win! Azraella Bloodstone managed to pull through and win the match! Let's see what comes next!"
*Artemis Creed and Jasper Jones vs Madame Python and Maria Crawford*
Soon after N-Bomb and Azraella were escorted out of the ring, four more women took their place, two at a time. First, it was Artemis Screed and Jasper Jones. Next came Madame Python and Maria Crawford. Artemis didn't have much of a Halloween costume, but she wore an American-style boxing gear along with gloves to imitate Apollo Creed. Jasper Jones was dressed like an Amazon warrior. Madame Python wore a black dress and a wig that looked like snakes that made her look like Madusa. And lastly, Maria Crawford was wearing a costume that made her look like the Dark Queen from Battletoads. Two pumpkins were laid in the ring laid out in corners far apart from each other.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I give you an inferno match! The rules are simple, whoever throws their opponent out of the flame-surrounded ring is the winner! And since this is a tag team match, we will be following elimination rules! The match isn't over until both members of either team is through the flames and out of the ring! Ready… GO!"
DING-DING!
As soon as the bell rang, flames shot out of the apron. They continued firing flames while both teams eyed each other. Soon, they ran right into each other and clashed with each other at the center of the ring exchanging rapid blows; Artemis against Maria and Jasper against Python.
Artemis Creed and Maria Crawford broke their blow exchanged and gained a bit of distance between them. Artemis then threw a punch while, at the same time, Maria launched a high kick in the air. The fist and the foot collided between them and caused a stalemate until Maria quickly spun around and grabbed Artemis by her arm. She then threw her to the ground and dropped her knee onto the back of her neck.
Meanwhile, Jasper got the upper hand on the punch exchange when the brought Madame Python to the ground. However, Python turned the tables by wrapping her legs around Jasper's head and throwing her down onto the ground. She got back up and kicked Jasper's head three times before looking back at Maria beating down Artemis. She grinned wanting a piece of that action, so she ran and jumped forward landing an elbow drop on the boxer.
While Madame Python sat on top of Artemis' back and applies a camel clutch, Maria turned her attention to Jasper. She picked her up and delivers a backhanded slap. However, that only made Jasper mad, and she retaliated with several chops across the dom's chest. She then delivers a backhanded spin punch that hits her hard. At the same time, Artemis managed to power out of the camel clutch and throw Madame Python right to where Maria Crawford was standing.
Artemis and Jasper nodded at each other and picked Maria up by her arms. They intended to Irish whip her at the same time hard enough to launch her out of the ring and through the fire that surrounded them, but before they could, Maria shot back with a knee strike to Artemis' stomach. She then grabs Jasper's head and hits her with a stunner. Artemis stepped back to Python, who stood up behind her and kicked her back to Maria, who grabbed her by her arms. Python then grabbed Artemis' legs and joined her partner in raising the boxer up and slamming her down to the mat.
With Artemis down, Maria and Madame Python turned their attention to Jasper. Maria grabbed Jasper's legs and put her in a scorpion deathlock. And if that wasn't enough, Madame Python sat on Jasper's neck to wrap her legs around it while also grabbing Jasper's arms pulling them upwards. This was a deadly combination of submission moves that left Jasper screaming in pain.
Jasper writhed in pain as both girls kept their holds on hoping to wear out their prisoner so they could throw her out later. However, Jasper managed to prove them wrong. Much to everyone's surprise, she powered her arms out of Python's grip and grabbed her head to flip her off her. Then, she reached back and grabbed Maria's ankle to trip her and make her let go. She was finally free and stood back up. She waited for the other team to stand up too, and when they did, she charged right at them and shot them both with a clothesline from each arm.
Madame Python groaned as she saw one of the pumpkins laid before her. With no other choice, she opened it up only to get prayed by a green gas that knocked her out instantly. After that, Jasper Jones grabbed her and lifted her up over her head. She then approached the ropes and tossed the snake woman through the fires. She was lit up until the extinguisher team put out the flames. Madame Python was no longer burning, but she was no longer competing too.
"Madame Python has been eliminated!"
With one of the heel team gone, Jasper picked up Artemis and shared a nod at her. Together, they moved onto Maria Crawford, who was trying to process the fact that she was now standing alone against two opponents who have her surrounded in the middle of a ring of fire.
Jasper managed to get behind Maria and grab her in a reverse bearhug. While she had her in tight, Artemis struck with multiple punches. Jabs. Uppercuts. Hooks. She was hitting her with every last move in boxing. Unfortunately for them, Maria shot back with a sharp kick in between Artemis' legs. The low blow caused the Puerto Rican to double down and drop to her knees. She then shot another kick; this time, backwards, so she could kick in between Jasper's knees. Like Artemis, the barbarian queen reincarnation fell to her knees.
Once she was free, Maria shot a spin kick to Artemis. She then ran to the other corner and opened up the other pumpkin. When she reached in, she pulled out a rusty hammer. Jasper Jones tried to tackle her from behind, but Maria spun around and struck her in the face with the hammer. She hit her again with it attacking the top of her head before grabbing her by her shoulders and tossed her over the ropes. At first, Jasper didn't fall through. She managed to grab the ropes and landed on the apron. Still, the flames were right behind her, and she felt the heat painfully. Maria then ran over to her and attempted another strike with the hammer, but before it could hit her, Jasper grabbed it and forced it out of Maria's hand. Maria then retaliated by hitting her with a dropkick. Jasper fell through the flames with the hammer in her hand and out of the ring where she was met with fire extinguishers and a loss.
"Jasper Jones has been eliminated!"
Artemis return to her feet and looked over at Maria while her back was turned. The dominatrix was basking in her elimination, so the boxer thought this was the perfect time to strike. She sprinted over to her aiming a punch to her back. However, Maria surprised her by turning around and grabbing her wrist before returning with a hard slap across her face. She then brought Artemis under her arm and slammed her in a DDT.
Maria looked down at Artemis and lifted her head up. She then stood over her and trapped her in a standing headscissor. Artemis tried to punch her opponent, but Maria grabbed her arms and held them in place while tightening her legs harder. Artemis kept trying harder to break free, but as time passed, her breathing became harder and she was getting closer to falling unconscious. Soon, she stopped struggling and her limbs became limp.
Maria grinned wickedly as she dropped to her knees slamming Artemis' head on the mat. She then picked her up and slapped her once more before preparing for an Irish whip. However, at the last second, Artemis got her second wind and prevented the Irish whip by delivering a hard punch across her face. She then pressed her advantage with a fast barrage of punches until they reached the ropes. Artemis then delivered her signature uppercut so hard, it sent Maria over the ropes and flying through the ropes and the flames.
DING-DING!
"That's the match, everyone! Maria and Madame Python had the advantage for most of the match, but both members of the other team had their time to shine! Artemis remains the last one standing, so both she and Jasper are the winners!"
*Clover vs Liza Surkova*
Coming up next was a match that had several Halloween-themed weapons laid out around the ring. Gravestones, steel chairs, a table covered with candy, and others. After that, the next two opponents came on out. Clover was the first to arrive wearing a costume of Max Rockatansky from the Mad Max saga. After that came Liza Surkova came out wearing a jungle-themed costume that made her look like Kraven the Hunter from the Marvel comics.
"This next match, ladies and gentlemen, is called a Trick or Street Fight, a no-holds-barred no-DQ brawl with Halloween-themed weapons ready for Clover and Liza Surkova to use! Pins and submissions apply as a win anywhere in the arena! Let's see who will come home with a win tonight!"
DING-DING!
When Clover and Liza met at the center of the ring, they began with an exchange of elbows. Clover struck first followed by Liza. The two alternated between one another until they hit each other at the same time so hard, they both fell on their backs. Liza recovered first and crawled over to Clover trapping her in a guillotine hold. However, Clover raised herself back to her feet and lifted Liza up into the air before slamming her down on the mat.
Once Liza was down, she rolled out of the ring landing on the ringside. Clover followed her and searched for a weapon. The first thing she could find was a witch's broom, which she accepted. Once Liza was back on her feet, she was immediately met with a strike with the blunt end of the witch's broom, which Clover used like a kendo stick. She continued to assault Liza with it until the stick broke, which the then threw at her opponent. After that, she grabbed Liza by her costume and tossed her to the gravestones which were set before them.
After the crash, Liza crawled over to the table with the Halloween treats and lifted herself up with it. Clover then grabbed her by her head and bashed it onto the table. She also shoved her face into the punchbowl keeping her there for a few seconds before throwing her away from the table. Clover grabbed one of the nearly-broken gravestones and attempted to hit Liza with it, but the Russian fighter managed to roll out of the way and quickly return to her feet.
When Liza stood back up, she saw a large bucket of water with apples in it. She grabbed it by its handles and muscled all her strength to throw it at Clover. She got hit with it and she was knocked backwards forcing her to drop the gravestone, which Liza then grabbed and bashed Clover with.
With Clover down, she looked and saw a pumpkin laid before her. She opened it up and reached inside it. She pulled out a handful of candy which confused her at first. Then, she read the wrappers and they read "STRENGTH CANDY". With a smile on her face, she unwrapped the candy and threw it into her mouth. She swallowed them and attempted to push herself up. However, she found herself unable to. Her muscles began failing and she wasn't feeling well. That's when she realized it was trick candy. The strength candy didn't give strength; they took it away.
Seeing Clover weakened, Liza shot a confident grin before hitting her with the gravestone again. She continued to do so repeatedly until it broke in half. She then covered her for the pin.
1… 2…
Surprisingly, Clover kicked out. Even though her strength has faded, she was still strong enough to escape a pin for now. So Liza picked Clover up and threw her onto the buffet table knocking over most of the stuff laid out there. All that was left was the punchbowl and a pie. Liza grabbed the pie and pressed it onto Clover's face before picking up the punchbowl to pour down on her opponent.
With Clover prone on the table, Liza returned to the ring and climbed up to the top of the nearest corner. She turned to Clover and jumped off to slam against her. However, at the last second, Clover rolled off the table and landed on the floor letting Liza crash through the table all on her own. Both women were down and found it hard to get up, so Clover crawled over to Liza and laid her arm over her shoulders for the pin.
1… 2…
Liza kicked out, and Clover continued to crawl until she mounted herself on top of Liza. Once she was up, she used what little strength she had to pound her fists onto Liza to try and weaken her some more. Liza soon broke out by pushing Clover off and rolling away from her.
That's when Liza found another jack-o-lantern, which could only be the treat pumpkin. When she opened it up, however, she saw another pile of candy which also had wrappers called "STRENGTH CANDY". That's when she realized that if this was a treat pumpkin, then the effects of the candy in the trick pumpkin must be reversed. That's when a shifty idea appeared in her head.
While Clover was struggling to stand, Liza took the pumpkin and threw most of the candy underneath the ring apron. The rest, she kept to herself. Then, she headed over to the trick pumpkin and poured in all the weakening candy while Clover wasn't looking. By the time Clover caught up to her, the candy were already planted and she was fooled. So she kicked Liza away from the treat pumpkin and picked up a handful of candy from inside. But after eating the candy, she felt even weaker. That's when she was able to figure out what Liza did. By then, Liza was able to consume the candy that really did give strength.
With her new strength, Liza quickly returned to her feet and land a sharp kick right to Clover's face. She was about to fall down, but Liza grabbed her and pulled her back to her for a knee strike followed by a headbutt. After that, she went behind her and locked in a sleeper hold. With Liza's new strength and Clover's weakened state, it wasn't long before the latter was knocked out.
DING-DING!
"Ooh! That was a clever trick by Liza's part! Yes, indeed, one of the pumpkins had candy that took away someone's strength upon consumption, and the other had candy that raises strength! But Liza managed to pull the old switcheroo to ensure her victory! Onto the next match!"
