With the mansion being missing from the map and the morning fast approaching we decided to build a house. It went better than expected with the powers everyone has, even Patchouli and Rin finally decided to show up.
They were sent away by Remilia to buy more books, all part of the plan to get them out of the library when the battle started.
Good thing Patchouli knew how to manipulate wood and metal. We built a pretty big house because of her creative power mostly.
I was allowed to stay there until I finally got rested enough and fix my sleep schedule.
During this time I talked to my spirit companions to learn more about their power.
We didn't have time to talk before so we finally could get a break.
Let's start with Chef Ramsay:
Strength: 6,8/10
Speed: 9,4/10
Intelligence: 7,6/10
Abilities: has a grip of manipulating fire and can summon kitchen equipment.
Now Theorist Matpat:
Strength: 5/10
Speed: 4/10
Intelligence: 9.7/10
Abilities: he somehow has access to the internet without a device, it's something only he could see
Talking with them was not the only thing I did, I of course needed to learn more about this world. Turns out there's a barrier keeping this world from the outside world. I also asked about recommendations on where I should head next, I decided to go to the local shrine to find out more stuff about which god sent me here. But first I stopped at the human village which is in the same direction as where I needed to go. Before leaving let's take a look at my inventory.

"Prank book"
Never thought I'd have more books than survival equipment.
Either way I have my companions with me, so I'll be able to survive. Anyways, "have you two gotten everything we need"?
"We should be good!" Chef Ramsay said.
Okay then! We're off!
As we said our goodbyes we took off into the morning.
A little while later and nothing strange has happend so far, unlike my first time where I immediately encountered a hostile Youkai.
Other than that, this forest was quiet and peaceful- hold on, guys did you hear that?
I could hear leaves wiggle and not because of the wind, it came from above.
Suddenly something flew down aiming straight for me!
I wasn't quick enough to dodge, but I was quick enough to pull out my prank book!
Whatever flew over me had scratched my shoulders and right after that I was able to open the book. DOING!
Fuck that's gonna hurt! I said while looking whoever attacked me.
It's a female bird youkai with yellow eyes and pink hair.
She has pointed ears like an owl and light pink bird-like wings with purple highlights and she has long green fingernails that definitely can be used as claws.
Me, annoyed and in pain began to shout at her.
Have you lost your mind!?
You're paying for these damages miss, there's no way of getting out of this!
As I say that Matpat and Ramsay surrounded the bird still on the ground face-down.
"Idiot humans" she mumbled, then jumped up and standing in a fighting pose.
"May as well give up you fucking excuse of chicken wings!"
"Yeah, please just pay for the damages or something" I said, I'm really not in the mood for this ma'am. "You're not like other humans, are you?" The bird concluded.
Fine, here's some currency and get out before I change my mind!
She flew away after giving me the damage-fee.
If only more encounters would be as easy as this one.
Even though I am bleeding, gross! Let's quickly head to the village.
After another short time of walking we arrived at the village.
Gensokyo is a small place I guess. Entering the village, we'd get stares from the locals.
Hey! You're living next to a forest of human-disliking youkai! I said to a couple people watching us.
Alright, now we've made it to the village, could we visit the doctors first?
One hour has passed. We got bored and decided to head to a bar, perhaps chat with the locals.
If we're done with doing shenanigans at the shrine, I want to explore Gensokyo.
Taking our seats the bartender approached.
"Y'all aren't from around here, are ya?" He asked.
"Nope, 2 Europeans and one American". I answered.
"Most outsiders are from nearby villages outside the border, but you 2 are from different Continents!" Anyway, what would you far away friends like to drink? "One ice tea green, two beers please."
"Hey guys". I whispered. I couldn't help but notice someone's been watching us.
"I noticed, the iconic hooded figure as well". Gordon said, man this experience is like a series or something, better than eating badshit food at restaurants with workers that have beef with each other.
"We'll that's a comparison" Matpat said. I think if we step foot in a not so busy area, they will confront us.
"Ahhh deal with em later". I yawned. "I could go for another round of ice tea! I'd also like to confront them myself soon".
"WHAT!?" My companions said while absolutely bamboozled.
You know what you're in for then right? Matpat said. "Yeah, I know, but I'm in a mood" I answer. Alright imma head out, try to have fun or something.
I walked out of the village; the spy would probably show up soon. I'm far enough from the village and I started to look around to look for anything suspicious, like that bush right there!
"Hello Bush camper!"
"Was I that obvious?" A female voice said definitely not coming from the bush.
She emerged from her bush. The girl has red eyes and pink hair, and a wrapped up right arm. "Hello European human."
"Hello Gensokian bush stalker."
She's already annoyed? Damn it's easy to trigger folks here.
"Listen here human, you're awfully suspicious." You seem to have appeared at Misty Lake instead of the borders, how come? You must have intentions, no one from another country and let alone another continent should not know of this place!
"Alright you make a good point, but one correction. I appeared IN the lake." I added.
She went on further with her reasoning to suspect me.
"And you appeared in the village wounded, you yelled that a youkai attacked you."
I stood in a thinking pose and loudly thought:" hmmmmmm yeah, didn't like being stared at by the locals so I had to yell out my reason of being wounded."
"Human stop being a smartass, You know where I'm going with this right?
"Nope!" I said.
"Not only did you suddenly appeared in Gensokyo, but you don't fear youkai one bit, even after a youkai attacked you."
"Well I'm not afraid, should I be? If anything youkai should fear me."
"Oh really?" The girl was getting angrier by the second.
"Why should we fear you?"
"I was sent here by one special guy, God himself!"
"Hah, like I'd take that as an answer! Foolish human, don't be confident you could fight all youkai by yourself." She said.
"Right right, that may be true, but I'd like to know what you think my intentions are" I challenged. "That's why I've come here, and if you don't answer me, I'll have to make you!"
"Ma'am you would be dissatisfied if I told you, and not even believe me adding to that!
So let's just skip this conversation!" I slowly walked forward.
"Oh you're approaching me?"
Yeah, you want to make me answer, but the truth is unbelievable. Its better off if our battle would decide what we'd do anyway!
No way, his self-confidence is absurd! She thought. He must truly be the strongest foe I've faced! "Human you have proved yourself, we'll settle this sometime else." She said as she ran away.
Youkai sure are easy to fool, shouldn't they be the ones fooling humans?
Me and the spirit companions continued our journey to Hakurei Shrine, it really shouldn't be this far away. And correct! We've made it to the stone stairs leading up to the shrine.
Walking up, I could hear a familiar voice talking to an unfamiliar one.
"He's truly that much of a threat?" Mysterious voice asked.
"He spoke with absolute confidence! No fear for youkai nor me or the situation he got in!"
"Shiver me timbers." I said interfering their conversation.
Also, it's rude to talk about people who are listening.
"Huh? You!? What are you doing here?" "I'm doing European stuff Europeans do."
"See! He's from Europe, how can a European know about Gensokyo and enter via Misty Lake."
I looked over at the person she talking to, she appears to be a shrine maiden.
The maiden was also observing me and said: "I agree he's suspicious, but he doesn't seem hostile."
both of them were looking at me now so I took the opportunity to make a scary face and wave my arms like crazy.
"What the hell? Is he making fun of us?"
Then Matpat interfered: "don't mind this guy, he's just messing with you."
"That's an understatement!" The bush camper said. And you're an American aren't you!?
Man they are really into discrimination I thought to myself.
"Google continents" Matpat said.
"Holy hell" I followed.
Then the girls dropped a new response.
"Remember when I said we'd settle this sometime else human? Well that sometime is now!"
"Alright then" I said walking slowly towards the girls with absolute confidence might I add.
"HA!" The bush camper yelled as she punched me in the face causing me to fall to the ground instantly.
This made the girls very, very confused, especially as I stood back up with a smile on my face. Messing with people is just too amusing, still they hadn't picked up on my true intentions yet.
"How can you be smiling? Don't my punches hurt?"
"Absolutely not!" She punched me again, still chill through but I was bleeding from my nose now. The Bush camper spoke up. "You're clearly wounded! Can you even feel pain?"
"I haven't felt pain in centuries" I said in a dramatic theater voice.
"Who is this man?" The bush camper was so shocked, but the shrine maiden had doubts.
I had another idea; I'll sing an epic villain monologue!
"I'm having a bad bad day."
"It's about time that I get my way."
"Steamrolling whatever I see."
"Huh! Despicable me"
"I'm having a bad bad day."
"If you take it personal that's okay."
"Watch this is so fun to see!"
"Huh! Despicable me"
The bush camper had enough.
"Humans should fear the youkai! Not the other way around, take this!" She removed a small piece of her wrapping on her right hand and black smoke came out of it air a fast rate, then she went for the punch!
But it never landed. "Hah! Despicable you indeed." Another mysterious voice said.
The bush campers' hand was stuck in a tear in reality, or split in reality and there where eyes in the split? I can't describe it I'll just call it a split.
The split increased in size making me step away and a person came out of it.
She has purple eyes and long blonde hair and is carrying a pink umbrella.
Hmmm she makes splits and has long yellow hair? She's the banana split!
"I've heard your amusing adventure from Flandre, Mr. Breg".
"It's Greg actually. Flan just calls me that."
"Oh is that so? Well then Mr. Greg, thank you for saving Gensokyo from the devil." Banana split complimented.
"Ah it was nothing, if it weren't for my team, I'd be dead."
"Wait he saved Gensokyo?!" The 2 others said.
"I was acting before; I did tell you the truth except for the part that I did in a theater voice." I said.
"Why would you do that? And you do fear us?" The bush camper asked, but I needn't answer. "Indeed he doesn't fear us youkai that much is correct, but he took another step and messed with you two!
No worries no ordinary human would do that.
But I know the truth, you did die and were sent here by God."
"You are not messing with us too, right?" The maiden said suspecting the banana split.
Instead of fighting (luckily) we discussed and retold our event with tea and balls of rice.
"You smashed a lamp on Remilia's head!?" You're obviously crazy!" The shrine maiden said.
"We'll I really don't like the concept of vampires sucking blood, it's absolutely disgusting!
We did make it up by freeing her little sister and helping out to defeat the devil.
Still kind of mad I didn't get to pour holy water on the devil or use the salt."
"True!" Matpat added, "you made Sakuya stop time to gather these materials and when the mansion got destroyed all we had was salt and holy water instead of other important stuff from the mansion!"
Me and Matt started laughing our asses you off at his own comment.
We had a jolly old time, we gotten to know each other and stuff and made it right with each other as well, UNITL!
"Hey so who's going to pay for the food and drinks I made?" Reimu asked.
"…"
"…"
"…"
Banana split Yukari splitted away and Kasen just ran.
Leaving the only ones without bucks out. "Yeah, we literally don't have anything on us."
Reimu's face went to confusion, to ANGER real quick.
"Listen up my guest" she said slowly. "You're paying for the meal."
"Know what? Fine! I didn't want to use this for this situation but fine!"
I started my incantation.
LEGEND SPIRIT THREE!
BUST THE FEAST!
Mr. Beast.
"MRRRR BEEAAASST"
Appeared with a red circle surrounding him and a red arrow pointing at him.
That's right, I just fucking summoned Mr. Beast, this is why I wanted to surprise his reveal at endgame. "Mr. beast! This girl needs a lot of money, could you help her out?" I asked the Mr. Beast. "Hey there miss! In need of money?"
"Yeah bu-" "great, then please follow me!"
As Misters of Beast dragged Reimu to another location we were all alone at the shrine.
It was getting late, so we decided to get back to the village and rent a hotel room.
While my spirit companions already slept, I decided to make midnight walk in the village.
It was really quiet, until I spotted a familiar face in the sky.
Landing in the front of me, Flandre greeted me.
"Hello Breg!"
"Well hello Flandre! Miss me already?"
"Well I'm actually here to give this letter to Reimu a shrine maiden, but she is not at the shrine."
Well, you see Flandre she's… uhh… busy getting rich!
Meanwhile at Reimu's pov.
I JUST KIDNAPPED THIS 17-YEAR-OLD GIRL THAT HAS TO SPEND 24 HOURS AT WORLDS MOST BORING PLACE EVER FOR $240.000!
"Wait, I can make that much money!? I'll stay for sure!" Reimu happily said.
"AHEM, anyways why are you looking for her?"
"I have this letter for her, it's from Remilia!"
"Oh? Should I open it?"
"No you idiot! It's for Reimu!"
"Well I'm just curious, what would Remilia write to a shrine maiden of all people?"
Flandre shrugged. "I don't know."
"Tell ya what Flan, I'll give this to Reimu, you can head back alright?
"Hah thanks Breg!" And with that she flew off.
It'll be better if I give this to her now before I forget, I'll just lay it at the shrine somewhere.
Walking in the dark to the shrine… good idea? Probably not, hold on there's something on the ground over here.
I found and picked up a note. On it read: "look behind you!"
Huh opposite of a horror movie!
I turned around only for me to get punched in the stomach.
"OOF!" And then run over by a fat guy.
"HEY THERE BUDDY" the man said, "the name's Adve! "I've come to stop you!
Holy hell this guy is not good news.
Adve is wearing iconic king's clothes, green eyes and blonde hair and is fat like Peter Griffin! "Puzzled on my gorgeous looks Greg? Hm? Hm!"
"Go away you crazy!"
"Nu-uh" Adve ignored me and summoned a big purple ball and shot at me, unable to dodge it collided with me sending me into the forest next to the stairs to the shrine.
"AAHH! Fucking hell, I can't move correctly with this blast I've received!"
I tried my best to run away but the psycho returned while I was still on the ground.
"Ha,ha Hahahahah! Look at YOU you are USELESS without your 2 friends backing you up!"
He summoned a big tree log and let it fall on my leg, now I can't run.
"Damn you, it's going to be a waste of a returned life if you kill me!"
Adve laughed. "Yeah, that wooouuld be a waste, but don't get me wrong!
I need you to be, aware of me! And one encounter isn't going to work with that!"
"What are you going to do? AHH!" Adve impaled my right hand with a dagger and stretched it as far as my arm could go.
"AAAHHH!" "Oh dear~" Adve smiled.
"I'm going to take STAGE AND BE BIG! HAHAHAHHA watch…"
As he pointed at my right arm, his smile widened and widened.
"MASTER SPARK!"
Blood flowed from where my right arm should be.
"You…"
"…"
"Adve here! Your great protagonist has fallen! Fallen! So, easily beaten by me, LITTLE OLD ME AH-HAHAHAHAHAA"
"He won't die, don't worry! do worry!"
"I'll walk… away… slowly… And FAST!"
Adve left.
Did I die again?
No, I woke up in a bed.
It appears I was taken in by a passerby or something.
I remember everything clearly, he's right about me. I don't feel so well.
There's someone else in the room.
"You're awake, how are you feeling?"
It's an unfamiliar female voice.
"My name is Alice, you're in my place."
Alice has blue eyes and is wearing a light blue dress with long sleeves and two pink ribbons and a red band in her blonde hair.
"I'm not feeling well Alice, I'm tired and I feel less energetic."
"Heh well you did lose an arm, can't blame you." She smiled.
"I happen to be a dollmaker, I can make you a new arm!"
"That'd be much appreciated Alice." I said in a weak voice. "I'm starting to lose consciousness."
I woke up again, I finally noticed the dolls that Alice made, they were everywhere in her house.
"The human awakens yet again. You've been asleep for quite a while!" said Alice cheerfully.
"You're trying to make me feel better, aren't you? I'm grateful, I really am but I just don't feel like it. Especially if someone brutally blasted my arm away."
Alice frowned. "I'm sorry, but who destroyed your arm, and what spell? The ground was black and still hot when I found you."
A fat person jumped me while I needed to deliver a letter to Reimu, his name is Adve and used master spark on me."
Alice jumped up in shock. "Master spark? How's that possible?!"
"I wouldn't know, is that high ranking spell?"
"It's Marisa's signature spell only she can use."
"well damn" I sighed.
"Hey enough about what you went through, have some food."
She gave me a bowl of rice and meatballs covered in hot peanut sauce. "Hey, one of my favorites! Thank you, Alice."
"No need" she said walking away.
I stayed at Alice's place for about 2 days. As soon as my arm is ready, I need to head out. Everyone must be concerned, I hope.
"Hey, your arm is done. It's going to hurt attaching this."
"Heh go ahead, I've felt worse."
After attaching my new mechanical arm, I inspected it some more.
"It has a magical power of its own, you can manipulate that magic into power" Alice said.
"One day I will repay you for your kindness Alice."
Alice smiled. "You are a polite person Greg, visit me sometime, would you?"
"Of course I will, I'll come back when I'm my old self again."
I walked through the forest; came across the site I was beaten up. The crater is still visible, but I won't let that get to my head. I really need to deliver my overdue letter.
As I finished walking on the last steps of the stairs, I find myself before a destroyed shrine.
"He didn't" I said disappointed.
Looking around, it seems like I'm the only one here, the destruction of the shrine must have happened recently because it's still hot. I'll check the village next.
I'm still not energetic, but moods a little improving at least.
Arrived at the village at last. As I first checked up on the hotel to find Matpat and Gordon, the hotel manager said they disappeared. I even checked at the bar, no one knows where they went.
The only thing I got is that Reimu and her friends are off solving an "incident".
However I did come across Mr. Beast.
"Hey man where have you been? I hired 19 villagers to look for you with an $50.000 reward for finding you!"
"Hey there beast, I got beat up."
"Haha no wonder! You've never trained to fight, have you?"
"No, there was no need for me to do that before ."
"But" Mr. beast started "Now you do! And now's a good time to start!"
"You sure? There's a maniac on the loose! He probably is planning something as we speak!"
"But that's why you have me!"
Mr. Beast called in a helicopter. "I have a great idea, Greg; you are going to get training!"
Me confused said. "What's the helicopter for then?"
"Well when I was looking for you, I used this helicopter to go to every corner of Gensokyo.
And not only the surface! I found heaven."
"You did what now?"
"It's true." Mr. Beast answered. "There I found a celestial; She claims to be one of the strongest in Gensokyo."
"Really? Sounds great! Let's go."
As we took off in the helicopter, we went past the clouds to reach "heaven".
Though I must admit, heaven is beautiful. Al be it flying rocks with not much on them.
Landing the helicopter, the who I think is the celestial, walked to us.
"Welcome back Mr. Beast!" She said.
"You brought the guy you've been looking for with you too! Hello, my name is Tenshi Hinanawi, I'm one of the strongest in Gensokyo!" I shook her hand and introduced myself.
"My name's Greg, I'm here to get stronger."
"Then you've come to the right place! As a celestial I'll get you stronger in no time."
Tenshi guided me around the quite empty heaven with just a few patches of grass and peach trees. "And here we'll begin our training!" Tenshi said while grabbing a sword from thin air.
"First try evading me!"
She proceeded to endanger me in getting hurt for a while, luckily it didn't get to that point.
"Hey, If you keep being so careless, I'll have to fight back!" I yelled.
"Go ahead." She challenged.
And so we trained, me punching her and her cutting me.
Every time she'll go harder against me with activating her flame sword mode, and after that her manipulation round rocks with a sigil on them named keystones.
It's really fun avoiding stones she threw at me.
Luckily, I did manage to also activate my magic in my mechanical arm, it allows me to punch harder and when I do the blue magic force will continue in the direction I punched.
Almost like punching far range but if I hit the target from normal distance it would blow up!
I named the attack: "Until Death." Next to the training, the food here gave me power too!
Turns out the peaches in heaven naturally do that, so even the food made me stronger.
And day by day I got stronger and faster.
Until one day an explosion could be heard from Gensokyo.
"Holy hell what was that?" I said.
Tenshi appeared to be confused as well.
"There must be a huge battle happening! Heh now's a good time to test your abilities, Greg."
"I'm more than willing to test them out, I bet that's Adve causing his incident."
Mr. beast showed up in his helicopter.
"Get to the choppah!" He shouted to me.
"Thank you so much for training me master!"
"Oh no need no need, put that bitch in his place for me!"
"Will do!"
Sometime before the big explosion back in Gensokyo.
As Reimu and Marisa casted their signature spells, Adve defended himself by creating a split to absorb their attacks.
Right after that Sakuya appeared out of nowhere with a bunch of knives pointing in his direction, in his response he suddenly appeared behind Sakuya and punched her into her own knives.
"AAH!" She screamed as she got badly wounded.
Adve then creepily frowned at Marisa and Reimu and spoke.
"Is this all you've got? HA-HAHAHAHAHAA you're all WEAK! WEAK! a funny joke if you will, HAHAHAA"
suddenly Flandre dived down extending her right arm to grab Adve's "core" to destroy him. However Adve noticed her and made a split just in time and closed it fast, decapitating her right arm.
Finally Reimu interfered again but was instantly stopped by Adve making her blind. And not knowing where Adve was, allowed Adve to punch Reimu into a boulder making it crack.
Its Marisa's turn now, they both casted "MASTER SPARK!"
And their magic collided with each other, but Adve's magic was stronger and blasted Marisa away.
The area they fought in was in chaos, Adve single-handedly defeated not only Reimu, Marisa, Sakuya and Flandre.
But also Kasen, Keine, Patchouli, Remilia, Alice and Mystia were also on the ground.
As Adve looked around, he was delighted, yet disappointed.
An empty battlefield…
Or so he thought.
A split formed behind Adve, and a blast came out of it surprising him.
He ignored the pain that the blast brought him and only stared at Yukari.
"So now you're interfering huh" he said.
"You're a lazy piece of crap for a stronger youkai like you! look around, death may be approaching for each of them! AH-HAHAHAHAH!"
Yukari had a serious face on her. "You're paying for what you did to them!"
This made Adve laugh. "HAHAHAHA if you really REALLY cared for them, then you should have fought me the first time we met! Or what about five minutes ago! buuttt yoouuu diidddnnnttt~"
"You may be right about that, that's why I'm here to end you once and for all!" Yukari said.
