Koakuma woke up with her wounds healed. She woke up next to a house where the the devil's mansion once stood. A house where Flandre and Remilia could live together in peace. A house where life was simple, a house with lots of books because the library inside the mansion got dragged into the netherworld. Deep in thought, Koakuma reminded herself where it all began.
A deal with Remilia to evade taxes to keep the mansion and tricking her to lock away her sister. Was she really at fault for obeying orders? Did the others know she was ordered?
Even when Dave came back which broke the deal, she still obeyed Lucifers order: "Do not let Flandre scarlet be released. If she's released, you must kill her." She continued following orders until that angel got involved. That was the last straw, she is terrified of angels.
Koakuma was tired of it all, following orders for centuries and now she everyone in Gensokyo became her enemy. Koakuma decided to follow one of her enemies advice: "Seek redemption and while at it, protection from Adve's wrath."
That was another nail in the coffin, Adve the most powerful being the world has his mind set on her.
"Fuck it, I can't sit idly and await my doom." She concluded.
And she made her way to the house.
Knocking on the door she waited for a response.
And indeed she heard incoming footsteps, good thing not everyone had evacuated. The one who opened the door was instantly recognized by Koakuma.
A pink haired and eyed Kirin who's still wearing her nurse outfit named Rin Satsuki. "EEEKKK!" She yelled and closed the door instantly after seeing who knocked. "Wait! Rin! Please let me in I can explain!" Koakuma said.
"Why s-should I trust you?!' Rin asked frightened behind the door.
"I'm sorry! I really am! I'm tired Rin, I don't want anything to do with this situation anymore." Koakuma cried. She fell to the ground on her knees crying of all the regret she had been bottling up for years.
The door opened and Rin hesitantly came out. After observing her, she got down herself to hug Koakuma.
"I'm so sorry Rin." Koakuma cried. "You should save the apologies for the sisters; they were the ones mostly hurt." Rin said.
"Get inside, I'll get you to the evacuation zone later."
It was awkward, the enemy of yesterday came crying and apologizing in the front of one of her victims. "Would you like something to drink?" Rin asked politely.
"No but I'd like to ask you a question." Koakuma said.
"What does Patchouli think of me now?" Rin glared at Koakuma bit saw that she was genuinely sad and concerned about her friend's opinion.
"She didn't like you playing with her emotions, why ask about Patchouli's opinion? And rather not one of the sisters?"
Koakuma looked away from Rin. "Alright, let's head to the hospital then." Rin said.
"So your back working again? Not even considering vacation?" I ask Sakuya who made a full recovery. "Greg, I'm a loyal maid."
"Sakuya, you have a thing for Remilia." Sakuya sighed at my comment.
"And you have a thing for Alice!" Sakuya countered. This got me blushing, thanks Sakuya. "N-no! I uhm well, don't say that out loud." I stutter.
"Nah pretty sure he's got something for Adam!" Yuyuko said who suddenly appeared behind me. "AH! No I'm not gay, unlike Sakuya."
"It's called lesbian." Sakuya corrected.
"Sure whatever, let's just drop this topic before your love interest finds out." I say before hurrying away. "That bastard, can you believe this guy Yuyuko?" Sakuya asked her. "Well he does have good humor; he's also just playing with you, don't mind him." Yuyuko answered.
Walking through the hospital that is extremely fortified now, which is fucking cool!
I mean iron plates, reinforced windows and bunker extensions outside.
Also the basement has enough room for the human village to live there.
We also have food farms underground and rooms for everyone.
Though not everyone in Gensokyo has evacuated yet. As I walked further, I come across Yukari who also made a full recovery, she was discussing something with Reimu.
"We cannot solve this incident so easily Reimu, this is the most dangerous situation we've been in so far."
"I know, I just hate the fact we cant live normal lives until we win this battle."
Reimu said.
I walk further, didn't need to interrupt them.
"Flandre give me my milk back!" I heard Remilia yell.
"Hah hah haa! Come and take it from me!" Flandre taunted.
I look towards the commotion that took place in the cafeteria of the hospital.
Looks like Remilia is not happy with her little sister stealing the milk for the tea.
"Give it BACK!" Remilia said while she managed to grab her sisters wing and began to pull it. "OW, ow ow! That's cheating! Not fair!" Flandre squeaked as Remilia took the bottle of milk from her hand. This gave me a good idea.
I wave at Flandre signaling to shush and pointing at the milk and then me.
Flandre saw my signs and understood.
"Alright may I FINALY enjoy my tea with milk?
Remilia asked but as soon as she turned her head towards the milk it was gone. "Flandre!"
"But I don't have it." Flandre responded.
Remilia looked around and saw me sneaking away like a cartoon character, and she saw the milk I stole. "Greg! I'm going to kill you!" Remilia snapped.
Hearing that I took off in a sprint.
"Run Greg run!" Flandre referenced.
As I sprinted, I turn my head around to see Remilia flying, she is indeed cheating! "Wait until I can fly." I say to Remilia.
I have reached the exit! I flung open the door and quickly closed it and ran off to a nearby tree to hide behind.
As I did it appears I arrived just in time because I saw Remilia walking out of the door, she probably got gotten distracted by bumping into something or someone.
She had no clue where I went, good. "Where the hell are you?!" Remilia yelled.
She is really pissed I better make my way back in and hide somewhere in my room or something.
As Remilia flew up, I took my chance to dash back to the entrance and hurry up to my room and closed the door.
"I actually managed to get the milk! Haha, revenge!" I celebrate.
knock knock* "oh oh."
The door opened revealing a smirking Remilia.
"I literally saw you run back in the hospital Greg, you're not sneaky at all!"
I back up to the wall of my room.
"S-sorry Remilia. I won't steal- AAKK!" Remilia suddenly appeared behind me grabbing me by the shoulders.
"You're going to pay!" Remilia got her fangs out ready to strike.
"Unlike you vampires I'd like to mention that I love garlic."
Remilia retracted her fangs. "What? You had garlic for breakfast?!" She asked.
"Fuck yeah! And yesterday's dinner also had garlic in it and the dinner before that yesterday."
Remilia sighed. "Fine you win this time!"
Then she took her milk and walked back.
"That was awesome!" Flandre said after suddenly appearing from under my bed. "Also did you really eat that much garlic?" I nodded "yes, I genuinely really like garlic, if there's a chance for garlic to be in a dish, I'd eat it with garlic. Same goes for cheese, I am from the land of wheels of cheeses after all."
Meanwhile Remilia could finally drink her tea with milk.
She was still not at peace because she could hear the chef shouting.
"Listen you cannot eat everything! This place is filled with people who need food!" Ramsay said to a ghost haunting him.
"But I'm hungry and this food is just delicious!" Yuyuko said.
"GET OUT!" Ramsay yelled. "AND DONT GET IN THE KITCHEN!"
Yuyuko left the kitchen with a sad expression.
Remilia finished her tea and walked up to her. "Listen Yuyuko, you can't just eat everything. Others got to eat too, or else they die."
Remilia said while Yuyuko nodded. "Yeah, I know but the food is just too good!"
Not too far from Remilia and Yuyuko, two others were listening into their conversation. "See? This is a golden opportunity Mystia! What do you say?"
Sanae asked her.
"Well if this is the case then reopening my restaurant here is a good idea." Mystia concluded.
"Don't we have to ask for permission first though?"
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot! Let's ask Mr. Beast!"
And the two headed off to Mr. Beast's office, as they did tell they too passing by Yukari and Reimu still chatting and eventually got to his office.
"Hello you two! How may I help?" The beast asked.
"Hey Mr. Beast, we'd like to open our own restaurant here." Mystia said.
"But we already have a cafeteria with free food! Why a restaurant?" Mr Beast asked.
"Well, Yuyuko was eating a lot of food from the cafeteria and isn't allowed to enter the kitchen anymore, so we see this as an opportunity for the people who want more food to enjoy more food!"
Mystia explained excitedly. "If that's the case, you may! Come I'll show you a perfect place for your restaurant." Mr. Beast agreed.
"Woah thank you Mr. Beast! This means a lot!" Mystia perked up.
"Jessie what are we still doing here?"
Walter asked Jessie who responded with: "there's danger outside Mr. White we can't risk it yo." Walter and Jessie were in one of their own rooms inside the hospitals bunker-basement. "I know Jessie, you however have something else in mind."
"Mr. White it's between me and only me."
And Jessie left the room. "Strange kid."
Jessie roamed around the hospital, looking for a certain someone.
Eventually when passing my she saw her name on a door of a private room,
and Jessie knocked, and the door opened.
"Oh hello Jessie! Need any help?" Kasen asked him.
"Hey uh Kasen, would you like to have lunch with me?" Jessie said while going through his hair with his hand and eyebrows up.
"Yeah sure! We're we heading?" Kasen asked.
"There's a new restaurant in this very hospital, we should head over there for food!" Jessie answered.
"Great lets go!" Kasen excitedly said.
And the two went to the restaurant while not knowing once aigan there were two others listening in their conversation.
"I don't think Kasen knows what he means." Keine said. "Huh what does he mean?" Fujiwara asked.
"Know what? Why don't we see for ourselves! Let's also go to that restaurant." Keine concluded.
"So Alice, what is your relationship between you and the new guy?"
Marisa asked Alice. The two of them where waiting for their food order at the new restaurant.
"Ah, well he's nice once you get to know him more.
He's a prankster but is not as bright, has good intentions though, always!" Alice answered.
"Ah I see, I've heard he also stole some books from the old mansion.
I think we would get along too!" Marisa commented.
"Yeah, I think so too!" Patchouli shouted from another table across them.
She was sitting there with Remilia, Flandre and Sakuya who all laughed at Marisa's comment. "Don't laugh! He's a thief!" At another table came another answer.
"Immj dojnd thik hejjs tjat biat" Yuyuko tried saying with her mouth full.
"When have you become such a glutton!?" Youmu frustrating asked.
At the meantime Jessie and Kasen sat down on a table.
"Wow it's quite busy here." Kasen said while looking around.
"Yeah, it sure is!" Jessie said.
"Look at him, see? He's blushing!" Keine said to Fujiwara who both are at a table too. "Ohhh! I get what you mean! He's in-"
"SHHHH! Fuji! Quiet you could ruin their date." Keine said.
"Alright fine!" She said.
Kasen observed Jessie and noticed his nervousness. "Jessie, Are you alright?"
"I-I uhh, wow what a, nice table!" He stuttered. "Yeah it sure is a nice table."
Eating time! Mystia and Sanae brought up all the ordered food to their respective tables. "Woah! More food!" Yuyuko said.
"Yeah, you can stop eating my entire supply of rice balls now." Youmu sighed of relief. "It does look good! Looks better than the stuff Sakuya makes" Flandre said.
Sakuya's mind: "when you try your best, but you don't succeed."
Everyone eventually took their first bite, and began coughing, everyone coughed.
"Well it doesn't taste as good as Sakuya's food!"' Flandre admitted.
Sakuya's mind: "WOHOO!"
Everyone turned their heads to Mystia, the cook.
"W-w-wait this is a m-misteak!" She stuttered.
"Wait everyone! I recognize this taste!" Jessie said and getting everyone's attention. "This is blue-sky meth!"
Gasping could be heard from the room except for Yuyuko.
"OHOHHHOO THIS TASTES SO GIOD!"
She started consuming everything on her plate.
"Who dares poisoning the vampire of the old mansion!" Remilia shouted.
"Hah are you addicted yet?" Kanako walked into the restaurant area.
"It was my plan! I had Sanae put crystal meth inside everyone's dish to make you addicted! Now you have to come and pay with faith to get more of this stuff! HAHAHAHAA!"
Everyone just looked at her and Sanae.
And in one second everyone was beating the shit out of the two.
While everyone was beating them up Rin and Koakuma who just entered looked in shock as the events played off.
Eventually they notice her, and silently stared at her. "Koakuma? Remilia said.
"Oh oh, this is a bad timing, isn't it?"
Rin said while Koakuma was hiding behind her wings.
"Rin, could you explain what's going on and why she's here?" Remilia asked. "Koakuma is Adve's primary target, he wants her powers." Rin said.
"Alright everyone, I want to talk with Remilia and Koakuma alone!"
The voice of Yukari spoke from a split created in the restaurant.
"Come, we must discuss in private."
Remilia went inside the split while Koakuma was hesitant at first but eventually got in as well.
"Hah wow a timing!" I say stumbling around.
"I missed the girl with wings on head!
What happened that she showed?!" I add confused.
"Greg what are you doing, you ok?" Alice asked worried.
"Ah Al! Al you're… you're a blondie! Hahaha. Cute blondie!" I say patting her head. Alice grabbed my hand and while I attempt to pat with my other hand, but I couldn't seem to get that hand to Alice.
"Greg, are you drunk?" Alice asked.
"Nahh, I'm perfectly Greg, like you are perfectly Alice!" I say as she facepalmed. "Could you tell the time?" She asked.
"It's time for SEX!" I said while saying that last word in a dramatic theater voice.
"Wait a minute, sex? Why is it time for sex Greg?"
"BECAUSE IM HAVING SEX WITH EVERYONE TONIGHT!"
Alice didn't know a response for that, neither did everyone present at the restaurant, also I take off my white blouse and waved it in the air.
"If you like piña coladas!"
"And gettin' caught in the rain!"
"If you're not into yoga!"
"Alright Greg that's enough." Alice grabbed me by the shoulders and started pulling me to my room.
"If you have half a brain!"
"If you like makin' love at midnight!"
The rest could still hear me singing before I was gone.
"Okay who gave him access to alcohol?" Sakuya asked.
In the realm of boundaries, or the place you go when you're in a split, or gap.
Let's just say there's a lot of eyes, Koakuma, Remilia and Yukari where talking it out. "So it were orders from Lucifer?" Remilia asked.
"It still not a good excuse, I'm so sorry Remilia." Koakuma cried.
"I don't think it's your fault, you were afraid." Remilia reassured.
"But it seems there's another person at play in the shadows." Yukari said.
"Things are getting more complicated now, we are going to need more power from the outside world to also counter Adve, but first could you tell us more about Lucifer?" Yukari asked Koakuma.
"He doesn't live in hell; he lives in the North Pole is fat and has a white beard."
"Hold on aren't you just describing Santa Clause?" Remilia asked.
"He is Lucifer! He's gaining human faith and trust to get more powerful! And one of the only people who is capable of killing him is your little sister!" Koakuma answered. "This changes everything, he's probably also preparing to attack!"
Remilia said shocked.
"Oh what must we do?" Koakuma asked desperate for a solution for all the problems they're facing.
