WWF Over the Edge: In Your House was live at the Wisconsin Center Arena in Milwaukee, first match that aired was the tag team encounter of L.O.D. 2000 (Hawk and Animal) and the Disciples of Apocalypse (Skull and 8-Ball). Control of the match went back and forth between the two teams throughout, until 8-Ball attempted to switch places with Skull. Droz, who was at ringside in L.O.D's corner, interfered by clotheslining 8-Ball, allowing Animal to powerslam and pin Skull.
After that match, The Rock came out to insult the Milwaukee audience, but was attacked by Faarooq with a chair and a piledriver onto the chair. Commissioner Slaughter decided that The Rock would compete later in the event, despite any injury he may have suffered.
The next match was the encounter of Steve Blackman and Jeff Jarrett. The two superstars fought back and forth exchanging control of the match, however, Jarrett would grab one of Blackman's arnis sticks and attempted to hit Blackman with it, however, Blackman countered and retrieved the stick and hit Jarrett with it. Blackman then went to the top rope to attempt an aerial technique, but Tennessee Lee hit him with the arnis stick, leading to Jarrett pinning Blackman for the win.
The third match was the encounter of Marc Mero against a mystery opponent chosen by Sable, where if Sable's representative lost, she would have to leave the WWF. After Mero was introduced, Sable came out and told Mero that she did not need a man to fight for her, insisting she would fight Mero. Mero then lay down and allowed Sable to pin him. However, he reversed the pin at a two count and rolled Sable into a small package, winning the match via pinfall. This forced Sable to leave the WWF.
Next, Bradshaw and Taka Michinoku fought Kaientai (Dick Togo, Men's Teioh and Sho Funaki) in a Handicap match. Bradshaw dominated the match by squashing all Kaientai members, but in the end Michinoku was pinned by Togo following a diving senton.
Next up was the Bladewolf vs the Rock for the WWF Intercontinental Championship.
OOOOOOOOWWWWHHHHOOOOOOO!
"Oh no!" Jerry flinched at the sound of the wolf howl.
"Oh, here we go!" JR said with enthusiasm.
The Devil's Wolf played to a loud cheer from the fans as the lights switched to the sinister blood red and dark blue before the Bladewolf walked out with the WWF Intercontinental Championship around his waist. Bladewolf stood at the entrance and adjusted his right elbow pad before he made his way towards the ring.
"The following contest, scheduled for one fall, is for the World Wrestling Federation Intercontinental Championship! Making his way to the ring, first, from Death Valley, weighing 310 lbs, the World Wrestling Federation Intercontinental Champion... THE BLADEWOLF!" Howard Finkel announced.
"Earlier tonight, The Rock was assaulted by Faarooq and given a piledriver onto a steel chair." JR recounted events. "Commissioner Slaughter declared that, injury or not, the Rock would still compete tonight."
"That is a travesty! It's injustice, JR!" Jerry said. "How can the rock go up against this... this lunatic? This freak of nature when he's not 100%?"
JR shrugged. "Can't answer that, King. But maybe the Rock shouldn't have turned on Faarooq and usurped his leadership from the Nation. But the Rock has to put Faarooq to the back of his mind and focus if he hopes to reclaim the Intercontinental Championship again."
The Bladewolf had reached the ring by now, climbing onto the apron and stepping over the top rope. He takes off his title and handed it to the referee, who stood nearby with it as Bladewolf paced back and forth, adjusting his left elbow pad briefly as his theme dies down and the lights return to normal.
"Oh, the Bladewolf is ready." JR saw this.
The Rock's theme hit to boos from the crowd and he soon came out, albeit with a neck brace on. The man was taking his time as he approached the ring, and the Bladewolf was just staring with a cold look in his dark brown eyes. The Rock stopped at the ring and shook his head.
"He can't do it. He can't go." Jerry said.
The Bladewolf, getting impatient, got out of the ring as the Rock looked to walk away, and Bladewolf lands a clubbing forearm to the back, sending the former Intercontinental Champion own to his knees.
"And the Bladewolf, wasting little time now!" JR said. Bladewolf grabs the Rock and sends him into the metal guard railing. "He's not gonna take any chances."
"I told you! The Rock was unprepared!" Jerry said.
The Rock stumbled around to the side of the ring with the Bladewolf on the prowl, the Champion bringing his forearm down onto the former Champion's back. The Rock stumbled again, then Bladewolf grabbed him and rammed his head off the metal guard railing, then proceeded to toss him into the ring and slides in after him, with the referee calling for the bell to officially begin the match.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
"And this match is officially underway!" JR said. Bladewolf took off the Rock's neck brace and looked at it.
"Oh no." Jerry said upon seeing this.
The Rock turned... AND BLADEWOLF CLOBBERED HIM WITH HIS OWN NECK BRACE! Bladewolf tosses the brace out of the ring and turns as the Rock gets into the corner, the Champion unloading with lefts and rights to the former Champion.
"Now Bladewolf with some offence." JR said.
Bladewolf grabs the Rock and goes for an Irish whip but the Rock reverses it and sends the Bladewolf into the corner only for him to come right back with a huge clothesline, flooring the Rock.
"Oh wow! What a big-time clothesline." JR said.
The Rock stumbled back up to his feet and turned around... INTO A GOOZLE!
"Caught!" JR exclaimed.
"No!" Jerry shouted.
Bladewolf grips the Rock tightly by the throat, then lifts him up... AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM!
"My God! What a Chokeslam!" JR called.
Bladewolf flips his hair back and does the throat slit gesture his brother, the Undertaker, was well known to do. This earned a loud cheer from the crowd as he grabs the Rock and lifts him onto his shoulders in a fireman's Carry... AND THEN HITS THE FURY OF THE WOLF!
"The Fury of the Wolf!" JR shouted. "Nobody has kicked out of that so far!"
Bladewolf covers the Rock.
"Hook of the leg!" JR shouted.
"No!" Jerry called.
"One!"
"Two!"
"Three! Ring the bell!" The referee shouted.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
The Devil's Wolf played as the Bladewolf gets to his feet. "Here is your winner and STILL World Wrestling Federation Intercontinental Champion... THE BLADEWOLF!"
The referee hands Bladewolf his title, and the Champion raises his arms before throwing them own, causing four lightning bolts to strike the turnbuckles which made fire explode from them as the lights dim to the sinister blood red and dark blue.
Without another moment, Bladewolf picks up his title and leaves the ring, making his way to the back.
And that's it for this chapter.
