It was a beautiful Halloween night in Jasper City as everyone was enjoying the spookiness of the holiday by either,Trick or treating or just watching scary movies, others were attending Halloween parties, like the one Humphrey and Kate were going to. Humphrey was wearing a Rick Sanchez costume and Kate wore a Scarlet Witch costume, after driving for about 10 minutes they arrived at a mansion in a private property which was owned by a rich friend of a friend Kate and Humphrey knew.
Both of them got out of the car and entered the house where about a hundred people were in attendance wearing costumes of various pop culture icons while the song Spooky Scary Skeletons (DMA ILLIAN REMIX) played on speakers. They were immediately approached by Garth and Lilly who was wearing an Jane Foster Thor costume and Garth was wearing a Flynn costume from Tangled. As the Sisters began to talk Humphrey then noticed his friends Salty,Shakey and Mooch who wore various costumes were waving him over,Humphrey went over to them and Salty gestured over to a black furred female wolf wearing a Grim Reaper costume So Humphrey what do you think she looks like under the mask,i bet she is a total goddess?"Salty asked curiously as he was very interested in her as he was wondering how beautiful she was under the skeletal mask
"Oh yes I bet she's very beautiful."Humphrey said with a smile "you think she looking for someone to love?"Salty asked with a sly smirk making Mooch look at him offended "Whoa hang on why do you get to ask her out?"Mooch asked "well because I saw her first and I'd think we'd established a better connection."Salty said proudly Mooch stared at him like he was crazy "What the H are you talking about?" While Mooch and Salty were having a little argument over who gets to put the moves on her,Humphrey grabbed his phone and began texting Claudette who was taking Runt trick or treating and she was watching Stinky to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid. "He's still with me dad,although he hates it."Claudette responded "I could care less how he feels pumpkin you just call me or your mother if he does anything stupid."Humphrey texted back as he put away his phone and looked around at the almost regal interior of the mansion,even though he'd been here before he was impressed by everything,he then looked over at a wall nearby and saw that a red furred male and female wolves wearing Peter Pan and Tinkerbell costumes looked at him giving off friendly smiles "Hello."the female greeted Maya waved at them "are you hear by yourself?"The male wolf asked Humphrey shook his head and pointed at Kate "Oh no I'm here with my wife,I'm Humphrey by the way."Humphrey said offering a hand shake which the male took.
"Oh,nice to meet you Maya,I'm Sarah and this is my twin brother Joshua."the female said gesturing to her brother, "nice to meet you both."Humphrey said as he looked around and he noticed that Kate was missing,he then looked towards Lilly who was talking to other girls "Hey Lilly where did Kate go?"he asked approching "she went upstairs."Lilly responded as Humphrey looked towards the stairwell and then he went up the stairs and looked left and right down the hallways to see which way Kate possibly went.
Humphrey walked down the hallway until he came on to a bedroom where 10 people all sat in a circle and a hat sat in the middle and in it was the names of the group "hey what's going on here?"Humphrey asked "we are playing 7 Minutes In Heaven."a female wolf said Hunphrey was familiar with game,basically two people are selected to go into a closet or other dark enclosed space and do whatever they like for seven minutes,you can choose to talk, make out, or simply do nothing at all and wait for the time to expire.
"You wanna play with us?"A male wolf asked, as somewhat fun as the game was Humphrey had someone to look for, "uh no thanks, looking for my wife,see a blonde furred girl wearing a Scarlet Witch costume?"Humphrey asked causing the crew to shake their heads no and Humphrey immediately left.
"Who's first?"a random male asked and a brown furred female reached over and plucked a name out of the hat which read "Monty." "Oh that's me."A dark gray furred wolf wearing a doctor strange costume said happily as he and the girl immediately got up and went into a closet that was big enough to fit 4 people in it and then they slid the door closed "Alright you two your seven minutes start now."Sarah said starting a timer.
"Ok so you wanna practice some magic with the master of the mystic arts?"Monty asked with a playful grin "or we can stand in silence."the girl responed crossing her arms.
Meanwhile Humphrey looked around for Kate who was lost in the mansion he then approached two female coyotes "excuse me did either of you see a girl dressed like the Scarlet Witch around?"Humphrey asked as two girls shook their heads no making Humphrey even more confused as he looked all over the place "Where could she be?" Humphrey now getting a little bit concerned Humphrey pulled out his phone and began dialing her number it rang a few times and although he couldn't tell exactly because of the music and chatter, but he could swear he heard her phone ring nearby "Humphrey?"Kate asked "Kate i've been looking for you sweetie,where are you?"Humphrey asked in confusion "Uh i'm in the bathroom,i had to go really badly."Kate said with a little laugh "Ohhh was it that dinner we ate earlier?"Humphrey asked "Yep,i'll be out...eventually."Kate said as she hung up leaving Humphrey slightly relieved as he continued onto the party.
