Luan was making Shane's half-birthday breakfast. Shane was still in bed. Luan soon finished making his breakfast. She went up to his room.
Shane was wide awake, laying on his back and being very quiet. He knows this isn't a day he can even be excited about. His siblings always ruined it somehow.
The siblings and cousins came in. Shane wasn't smiling.
"Happy half-birthday, Shane!" they say as Lance held his half-birthday pancakes.
"Ooooh! My favorite!" Shane says, looking at the pancakes before eating them.
Lucy felt like this would be a repeat of Luke's days. But Shane was way different from Luke. She just didn't realize it.
Shane finished eating as he soon got out of bed and took off to get a shower.
Meanwhile, Mario and the others finished decorating.
"Good job!" Penny says.
Later, Luna took Shane out. Shane was very impatient with her beforehand, however. He had packing to do for the beach trip and he wasn't happy for being taken out when he knew he wasn't celebrating in Michigan.
After going shopping for a bit, they came back to pack for the beach trip as Lucy sighed.
"You guys ready?" Lucy asked, ready to make a portal.
Everyone nodded. Shane just nodded as well, not knowing what to expect and knowing nobody there would like him.
They arrived as Toads cheered seeing the half-birthday boy. Shane managed a small smile.
"Welcome to the Mushroom Kingdom." Peach says, knowing Shane wasn't ready. "And Happy Half-Birthday as well."
"Hey, I didn't know Oliver was coming here." Angry Luigi says.
"So much for separating this summer." Alem tuber says.
"They're here for Shane's half-birthday." Emma says.
"Oh, and for the record, you came on your own accord. We didn't force you." Alem tuber says to the Foxes, not wanting to be blamed.
"Luke asked us to be part of the entertainment." Griffin says. "So quit telling us how to act around your type of people!"
"My type? I'm still not sure why I'm here. Oh, right, because the idiots decided to go after Bowser." Alem tuber says.
Peach was giving a tour as Shane was amazed.
"Oh, my gosh." Shane said.
"I guess you've never been in a kingdom before." Peach says. There was a tennis court, a golf park, and a place for go-karting. Sure, the party may be on a beach, but Peach didn't want to just make them wait and do nothing.
"I actually have a video shoot in two hours." Shane says.
"Oh, you did have plans on the beach and in the beach town here, no less." Peach says.
"I'm shocked you all don't know who I am by now…" Shane says, slightly annoyed.
"We know somewhat, but not as much as we'd like to know." Peach says.
"I need to go." Shane says, walking off.
Peach stopped him. "You just can't casually go around like this. It isn't your world. our world is kinda different." Peach says, not wanting him to ruin his costume because of the gravity.
After a bit, they arrived as Jason and Bill were walking. "Shaney!" Penny says.
"They're telling me how to act and how to feel!" Shane growled. "Do they honestly hate me? Like, seriously!"
"No, they don't. We just didn't want you to get hurt." Penny says.
"Yeah, sure…" Shane looked down.
Luigi was walking and saw Shane and gulped, remembering what Emila said.
"Oh, no." Luigi says, realizing one mistake means death.
"Luigi, hurry up already!" Mario says.
"No!" Luigi says but Mario had to literally drag Luigi.
Soon, Shane's Ocean Drive video shoot began in the beach town.
"Luke and Shane are way better than Luigi." A Toad says as Luigi frowned at this.
"They and those Foxes are so cool!" another Toad says.
"Much cooler than those cosmic buddies. Maybe they could stay here." A Toad says.
"They go to school." Peach pointed out.
Shelby tries to interfere in Shane's video shoot. But some security personnel moved her off the set.
"For shame…" A Toad says.
Shiloh had snuck past them and did a cannonball into a pool in the background, soaking Shane on camera.
"He looks even hotter!" Another Toad says.
"He's right, we're dead." Angry Luigi says, running off.
Later, Penny tries to dry Shane off. Shane was livid with his siblings and Sharon was upset with them both.
"You guys were supposed to make sure they didn't do anything and you failed." Luke hissed as Peach was sweating nervously.
"I'm so sorry…" She says.
"Sure you are. I bet you wanted this to happen." Luke hissed.
"Those two are in big trouble right now." Sharon says. "They're the ones who ruined so much of Shane's birthdays and half birthdays."
"You two are grounded for the rest of the summer!" Lance says to Shiloh and Shelby. "And you won't have a choice. You are going to the party tonight."
"Why do you like to do this to me?" Shane asked.
"See, having siblings is awful. All they do is ruin your days." Luke says.
Shane waited for his siblings to answer him. They explained they just wanted to be part of the video.
"And this is why I hate having siblings." Luke says.
Luigi sat alone, upset, as he heard every word those Toads said. Mario would prefer Luke over him. He always felt like Mario's shadow.
"Luigi." Daisy says. "I don't think Emila was serious."
Luigi sighed.
"Oh, Luke and Shane are making you feel useless?" Daisy asked as Luigi nodded.
"Well, they are good at making everything about them sometimes, but we can't tell them about this or Luke will really throw a fit." Daisy says. "Besides, you've saved Mario plenty of times. Just let them have some spotlight time, just for today."
Peach had baked a peach cake and Savannah baked a triple chocolate cake.
Shane hissed at how his video came out. He felt annoyed by this.
"We can redo it." Penny says nervously.
"I love them, but they can be so bothersome sometimes!" Shane screamed.
"Siblings tend to do that. Also, they're kids." Penny says.
"Just forget it. I'll let my fans watch the video like it is." Shane sniffed.
"No, we're going to redo the video." Penny says, holding Shane.
"What's the point? I was probably better off not doing the video here…" Shane says.
Penny sighed as she saw Shane looking down. Shane then stormed off.
"I failed…" Penny sniffed. "Taking him here was a bad idea."
"There has to be some way to fix this and make this day better for him." Oliver says. "He was so excited for his video shoot and now it got ruined."
Shane sniffed. He sat in his hotel room, shedding tears.
"Shane, honey, are you okay?" Sharon asked as she came in.
"They ruined everything at my video shoot! I told them to stay away, but they didn't!" Shane screamed. Sharon holds him.
"Make a new outfit, Oliver. I need to get him to do the video. It can't end like this." Penny says.
"I'll make one right away." Oliver says.
Lana was cheering, riding on a Wiggler as Peach giggled.
Oliver worked fast. He soon made a brand new outfit for Shane to wear in his video.
Shane was in his hotel room, sniffing. Penny entered the room with Oliver.
"What, Penny?" Shane sniffed.
"We made something for you." Oliver says.
"What would that be?" Shane asked. It was a new costume for the video shoot. Shane started to smile at this.
Shane later goes to get ready for his video shoot again. Soon, it went on the way Shane wanted it and Luke was on guard duty.

Shane finished and smiled.
"That was amazing!" Luke says.
"Thanks!" Shane says. "Now I have a beach photoshoot. I need to get my swim trunks and my tropical shirt on."
He goes off to get ready for that. Penny hoped no one would ruin it.
Most of the citizens were getting a peek at Shane during the photoshoot. Luke was on guard duty, not letting anyone in. It didn't stop the citizens from getting a good look at Shane.
"He's so cute!" One Noki girl says. "I love his music!"
"He's hot!" A female Toad says.
Luke and Shane had risen, possibly more than Mario. Musicians were always popular.
Daisy blushed a bit as Peach noticed.
Shane took off his tropical shirt for some pictures, showing his well-toned chest. Penny was blushing at the sight of this and had a nosebleed. Lulu gulped.
Shane tossed his curls and giggled for another picture.
"He's adorable!" Penny says.
Mario smiled a bit.
Later, Penny prepares his entrance. She wanted it to be special. She wanted to make sure he did his dance to match the song that he picked.
Shane was waiting as he put on his entrance outfit. Soon, it was time as Shane sat on a surfboard throne and smiled.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this night is a very special one indeed. Presenting the star of the show, the always fabulous and the most amazing guy you all love to know…Shane Loud!" Penny says.
The guests cheered as Shane appeared on his surfboard throne and stepped off it, doing his dance to "Fabulous" by Chelsea Staub, singing his rendition of it.
Everyone loved him. At this point, they didn't know him too well, but they did now.
Soon, the party begins. Shane just wanted to take everything in right now.
He looks around at the Hawaiian-themed party. There were photos of him and festive Hawaiian decorations everywhere. Yoshis were eating, Toads were playing the limbo game, and Mario was on a chair relaxing as Luigi was not around.
Peach, Savannah, Delta, Chrissy, Daisy, and Pauline played beach ball.
After a bit, Shane and Penny get in swimming gear and go swim in the ocean. Shane splashed Penny as she giggled.
Luna looks on and smiles as Shiloh looks down in shame for what he did to Shane last year.
Bowser growled as he and Kamek spy on them.
"I can't go there. That Luke kid is there. I never really met him, but according to Brandy, he and Oliver have dealt with worse." Bowser grumbled. "So when they leave, I'm taking Peach!"
Back at the party, Bill was testing out his new electric surfboard and surfed around. "Surf's up!" He says.
Lance was grilling burgers and hot dogs.
"Consider this our first family beach day….Ever." Charity says, surprised as it hits her. Every time she tried, Luke was busy. Well, after he turned 12.
"Lucy, here." Luna says, about to put sunscreen on her, but froze and started to tear up, remembering the last time she put sunscreen on Lucy.
"I failed…" she sniffed.
"Huh?" Lucy asked as she noticed Luna looking at Luke, then remembered that beach day.
Shane and the others played water volleyball as Shane was winning. After that, he decided to take a break and smiled at the picture of himself performing Penny's song at his Hazeltucky show.
Oliver was smiling at Shane. "Having fun?" He asked him.
"This is the best half-birthday ever so far..." Shane says.
Later, it was time for the entertainment portion of the party. Shane sat on his surfboard throne as Luke took the stage first.
He began to perform the song that Shane performed for him on his half birthday. Shane smiled at Luke.
Ashley sighed as Penny wanted Ashley to give him a magic show.
"Do I have to?" Ashley asked.
"I have to prepare my science and music show with Grandpa and Mike. So you have to entertain Shane with magic while I get that ready." Penny says.
Ashley sighed. "Come, Red." She says. She goes to do a magic show for Shane, who is smiling and waiting. She goes on stage, still not smiling. She put on quite the show for Shane.
Luan came on stage after Ashley left. Luan told some tasteful jokes, then did a mime performance. Shane smiled at this. "Wonderful!" he says. He loves mime performances.
Emma goes on stage to do a cheerleading performance. She tripped during it. But Shane still loved it.
After that, the Foxes came on stage as Shane smiled. They performed one of Shane's first stage songs before he became famous. Johnny B. Goode, to be exact. He clapped the whole time, smiling at them. Once they finished, Shane gave them a standing ovation.
"You are all wonderful!" Shane says.
Penny then came on stage with Mike and Dr. Crygor, ready for her show. Shane smiled at her.
She performed a song first, then she prepared her science demonstration with her grandfather. They showed an auto-drying suit, which surprised Shane.
"Now you don't have to worry about your suits getting wet." Penny says.
"I love it!" Shane says.
It was now time for Shane to open his gifts. He opens Luke's present first, which was a Swarovski figure of Shane's Watch Me Work performance.
"I love it!" Shane says and hugs Luke. "I've never been immersed in Swarovski crystal before!"
"Very soon, the whole universe will love you!" Luke says. Shane smiled a bit before picking up his gift from Sharon and Lance.
It was car keys. Luna arrived with another new purple Lamborghini Sián Roadster. Shane shrieked when he saw it.
"I love it!" Shane says.
He opens Oliver's gift and gasps when he sees the Laine Hardy tickets and the albums.
"Laine Hardy's coming to Michigan?! When?!" Shane squealed.
"Stephen knows when." Oliver says as Peach had no idea who that was.
"He's coming at the end of August." Stephen says, offering Shane his gift.
"Cool! A signed cookbook set! Thanks, Stephen!" Shane says.
He finds gifts from his younger siblings as he opens them. Shiloh got him a new hat for winter and Shelby made him a painting. He then found Penny's gift.
"What could this be, I wonder?" Shane asked as he unwrapped the gift. He smiled upon seeing the digital picture frame with pictures of him and Penny in it.
"Penny, my love, this is amazing! Thank you!" Shane says as he kisses Penny.
After gifts, it was time to eat. There was so much food to choose from. He saw his favorite foods, helping himself.
Penny sat next to him as he blushed while eating. Penny giggled and fed him.
"After we eat, can I sing my song about you for everyone?" Shane asked. "Please, love?"
Penny nodded and smiled.
After eating, Shane performed Penny's song. Shane winks at Penny as he sings. She blushed.
"My beautiful singer and scientist…" Shane says.
After that, everyone was dancing as Shane was with Penny. He looked into her eyes the entire time and smiled. Then Lucy reads a poem, which Shane smiled at.
Mario rushed over to Luigi's side, his concern evident in his eyes. He wanted to reassure his brother that they would always be the Super Mario Bros, no matter what challenges they faced. With a gentle touch on Luigi's shoulder, Mario spoke softly, reminding him of their unbreakable bond.
Emila dedicated herself to honing her magical skills in preparation for an upcoming competition. Under the guidance of her mentor, Drell, she tirelessly practiced and refined her techniques. With each passing day, Emila grew more proficient in her magic, striving to achieve perfection in every spell she cast. Her unwavering determination and commitment to her craft were evident in the progress she made.
There was an explosion as Emila smiled and smirked.
Meanwhile Shane hit his piñata as candy fell out. Everyone cheered as they got their fair share of the goodies.
During Shane's half-birthday party, the group organized a kart race around the beach. Everyone had a great time driving and competing against each other. Mario emerged as the winner of the kart race, while Shane watched the thrilling race unfold.
Later, Penny and Shane engaged in a series of microgames that were based on Shane. These games provided a fun and interactive way for them to spend time together.
Soon, they played more games before dessert time.
Shane waits before seeing the triple chocolate cake that Savannah baked. It was a surfing-themed cake that said "Surf's Up! Shane Loud Is Sixteen & A Half!" and it had that same amount of candles on it.
"I love it!" Shane says.
"It even has a toy version of you on a surfboard!" Daisy says as he smiles.
"I love it even more!" Shane says as Savannah smiles.
Soon everyone began to sing to Shane as Leni records.
Shane smiled and wished for his siblings to treat him better and blew out his candles as everyone cheered.
Penny let Shane have the first slice of cake. Shane gave Penny the second slice. It was plain to see Shane loved Penny a lot.
Soon, everyone was eating and having a blast. Shane smiled and Peach took a picture.
It was soon getting dark. They headed to the hotel rooms as they were big and spacious.
Shane and Penny were in a room with each other. Shane then took his shirt off and smiled at Penny.
"Do you like what you see?" Shane said with a smile.
Penny nodded. "How do you always look so hot?" She asked him.
He shrugged. "I work out a lot, eat healthy, keep up with the trends…and stuff like that." Shane says. They then make out on the bed.
The next day, they were leaving.
"We hope you had a nice visit!" Peach says.
"Stay!" Lulu sobbed.
"Come back anytime!" Daisy says. "Good luck at cheer camp, Shane and Luke!"
"See you next time!" Mario says.
"Bye-bye!" Luigi says.
"Bye!" Emma waves, standing on Pam's head.
