Hi everyone! Episode four is here! I bet Lash is really angry at Embrick for getting him grounded. Enjoy! :)
The next morning on Friday, Embrick and Lash were eating breakfast, Lash no longer grounded. I'm in my usual goth clothes while Lash has different clothes, a purple and white stripe long sleeve shirt over his black shirt with number 23, black jeans and black and white sneakers. Lash looks up from his bowl of cereal, glancing over at you. Despite still being annoyed with you for getting him grounded, he can't help but notice your usual goth style.
Lash: Still wearing those goth clothes, huh? Don't you get sick of all that black all the time?"
Embrick: Nope.
Lash shakes his head, clearly not understanding your fashion choices. He turns his attention back to his cereal, taking a bite.
Lash: You're such a weirdo, you know that?
Embrick: You wear black too. Looks good on you. Mentioned your black shirt with number 23, black jeans and black and white sneakers.
Lash looks down at his clothes, realizing that he is indeed wearing mostly black too. He brushes your comment off with a shrug.
Lash: Yeah, well I only wear black because it matches everything else. It doesn't mean I'm goth like you.
Embrick: sighs Okay.
Pyro: Lash, I want to let you know that you're ungrounded.
Yuki: I don't want you to smoke on campus again, okay?
Lash perks up at the news that he's ungrounded. He lets out a relieved sigh, grateful that the punishment is over.
Lash: Good. About time. And yeah, I know, I know. No more smoking on campus. I got it.
As we left home and went to school,Lash walks with you, a scowl on his face. He's still frustrated about the whole situation from yesterday, and he can't help but let out his anger on you.
Lash: I can't believe you got me grounded like that! You're such a pain in the ass, you know that?"
Embrick: You're the one who spokes in school. You deserves it.
Lash rolls his eyes, clearly not buying your excuse.
Lash: Oh, please. You didn't have to rat me out like that. You could have just let me off with a warning or something, but no, you had to go and send my parents the picture, knowing full well they would punish me for it!
Embrick: That's right.
Lash fed up, he smacked me in the face. Lash's hand connects with your face, leaving a stinging sensation on your skin. He glares at you, feeling satisfied with his reaction.
Lash: There. That's what you get for pissing me off.
Embrick: snapped You know, what? Fuck you, Lash Lombardi!
Embrick slapped him back right in the face when I angrily stormed off to school. Lash's eyes widen as you slap him back, completely caught off guard by your reaction. He scowls, feeling both hurt and angry as he watches you storm off to school.
Lash: Hey, wait a minute! Where do you think you're going?!
Embrick ignores him as I continue to storm off. Lash arrives at school and meets Speed who is upset.
Speed: Hey, Lash...
Lash approaches Speed, still fuming from the altercation with you.
Lash: Hey, man. What's up?
Speed: My parents found out I'm smoking. I'm grounded last evening.
Lash cringes, feeling bad for his friend.
Lash: Damn, that sucks. For how long?
Speed: Just the whole last evening. I'm ungrounded earlier this morning.
Lash nods, still feeling annoyed from his own brush with punishment.
Lash: Yeah, same here. My parents grounded me for the whole evening too. It was total bullshit.
Speed: Yeah. I think it's your nerd stepbrother who rats us out.
Lash's eyes narrow in anger again at the mention of you.
Lash: Yeah, I think so too. The prick sent the picture of us smoking on campus to our parents, knowing they would punish us for it.
Speed: That little bastard. He'll be sorry. Speed uses his superspeed to shove all the five male students to the ground, amusing Lash as they happy to bullied the students again since yesterday.
Lash: Yeah, that's what they get for being weak little nerds.
Lash and Speed spot you in the fields during the second period, and they approach you with menacing gazes.
Embrick: sighs What do you want?
Lash crosses his arms, still feeling angry and frustrated.
Lash: We've got a bone to pick with you.
Speed: That's right you little shithead.
Embrick: Just...leave me alone...I don't want to deal with you guys anymore...
Lash snorts and steps closer to you, towering over you.
Lash: Not so tough now, are you? You're the one who ratted us out to our parents and got us grounded, remember?
Embrick: And you guys deserved it.
Speed: Bullshit!
Lash scoffs, clearly not happy with your response.
Lash: Oh, we deserved it, did we? Well, you know what? You deserve something too.
Lash punches Embrick in the nose. Lash's fist connects with your nose, causing a sharp pain to shoot through your body. He smirks, feeling satisfied with his actions.
Lash: There you go, little prick. How do you like that?"
Speed: Ha! Awesome, Lash!
Embrick: You're always a fucking asshole!
Lash grins, enjoying the praise from Speed. He takes a step closer to you, towering over you once again.
Lash: Damn right I am. And you're just a weak little nerd who doesn't know your place."
Snapped, I punched Lash in the right eye, which stretches his elastic neck way back, then stretches his neck back to normal. Lash's jaw drops, completely shocked by your reaction. He wasn't expecting you to fight back, let alone punch him in the eye. He holds his right eye, which is now starting to swell.
Lash: Ow! What the fuck, you little bastard!
Lash and Embrick started to fight. WTheye angrily blow each other's punches as the students cheer the fight, including Speed who is cheering for Lash. Embrick grabbed Lash's wrists to make him cry again with his sad manipulation, but somehow he was not getting affected for some reason. Lash removes his grip and he grabs his wrists and starts pulling my arms with his elastic powers, tries to ripped my arms, but since they both slender, they're not that strong, but we have the same strength. Then Coach Boomer uses his sonic boom to stop us fighting each other and stop students cheering the fight. Lash and Embrick both stumble back, dazed and disoriented from the loud sound. The fight ends and we both stand there panting, glaring at each other.
Coach Boomer: Principal office, now!
Lash and Embrick sit in the principal's office, holding ice packs on our faces to try and alleviate the pain from the bruises and blood leak from our nose and lips. Principal Powers sits behind his desk, looking displeased at both of us.
Principal Powers: Coach Boomer told me about you two fighting in the fields. We don't accept fighting in school grounds.
Lash rolls his eyes, still feeling angry and defiant.
Lash: Yeah, well, the twerp deserved it. He's been pissing us off for days now.
Embrick: This jerk deserved it. He's nothing but a bully.
Lash scoffs and looks over at you.
Lash: Oh yeah? And you're just a weak little loser who can't handle themselves. So don't talk about deserving anything, because you're the one who's been causing all this trouble in the first place.
Embrick: Me?! You and your friend being a jerk to me and everyone in school and causing all the shit in the first fucking place!
Lash glares you, his anger boiling over.
Lash: Oh, so now it's our fault? You're the one who sent that picture to our parents and got me grounded! So don't act like you're all innocent and pure when you're the one causing all the problems here!
Embrick: You shouldn't smoke in the first place, imbecile!
Lash rolls his eyes, frustrated by your response.
Lash: Oh, so now you're trying to play the moral high ground, huh? Don't act like you've never done anything wrong in your life. You're just judgmental and self-righteous.
Principal Powers: ENOUGH!
Lash falls silent, still feeling frustrated but knowing better than to talk back to the principal.
Principal Powers: You two will have 3 hour detention after school.
Embrick: shocked W-What?!
Lash's jaw drops, equally shocked by the punishment.
Lash: What?! Three hours of detention? That's freaking unfair!
Embrick: Yeah!
Principal Powers: I don't care! Now get to class.
Lash grumbles as we walk out of the principal's office, still feeling frustrated by the lengthy detention.
Lash: This is such bullshit. Three hours of detention for a little fight? That's ridiculous."
Embrick: Yeah...
Lash glances at you, still feeling annoyed by the whole situation. He can't help but still feel a sense of anger towards you.
Lash: You know, this is all your fault. If you hadn't ratted us out to our parents and gotten us grounded, we wouldn't have even been fighting in the first place.
Embrick: If you hadn't such a dick, we wouldn't have even been fighting in the first place, fuckface.
Lash's anger flares up again at your comment, and he turns to face you with a menacing glare.
Lash: Watch your mouth, twerp. Don't you dare talk to me like that.
Embrick: Whatever.
During the third period in History, me and Lash were in separate seats, avoiding each other. Lash sits in his seat, still stewing in anger and frustration. He tries to focus on the lesson, but he keeps sneaking glances at you, his resentment building with each passing moment.
Lash threw paper balls at me, then I grabbed a book and threw it at his head, causing him to fall out of his seat. Lash crashes to the floor after the book hits him, feeling a mixture of shock and anger.
Lash: What the hell, you little punk? Did you just throw a book at my head?!
The history teacher, Clark Justice: Lash Lombardi! Clark gives Lash a stern look.
Lash quickly gets up from the floor, feeling sheepish under the teacher's stern gaze.
Lash: Sorry, sir. I, uh, I lost my balance, I guess.
Mr. Justice continues lecturing history lessons while I give Lash a grin. Lash glares at you, feeling frustrated and embarrassed by the whole situation. He can't believe you would humiliate him in front of the whole class like this, and he vows to get his revenge later.
In the fourth period of English class, Embrick and Lash sit together, much to their dismay. While taking notes, Lash stabbed Embrick's hand with his pencil, causing me to flinch. Lash smirks, feeling satisfied by your reaction.
Lash: You know, you're such a little wuss. Can't even handle a little pencil poke."
Angry, I stabbed Lash's hand with my pen, causing him to flinch.
Embrick: Take that, bitch.
Lash winces at the pain, feeling surprised by your sudden boldness. He looks up at you with a mixture of annoyance and admiration.
Lash: Ow, you little bastard. You actually stabbed me back?
Embrick: Damn, right.
Embrick and Lash keep stabbing each other's hands harder, groaning in pain, angrily glared at each other, until they let go. Lash winces in pain, nursing his hand. He glares at you, a mix of surprise and anger in his gaze.
Lash: You really fight dirty, you little prick.
Embrick: Damn, right, you big jerk.
Lash scowls, feeling both impressed and annoyed by your resilience.
Lash: You know, you're a real pain in the ass, you know that?
Embrick: Yeah. And you're a real pain as well.
During lunch, Embrick and Lash eat their shrimp pasta and sit together. Lash spits on my shrimp pasta, give me a dark grin. Lash grins smugly, feeling proud of himself.
Lash: How's that for payback, huh? You're gonna cry like a little baby now?
I spit on his shrimp pasta too, grins at him smugly. Lash's eyes widen in surprise, not expecting you to strike back like that.
Lash: Oh, you little punk. You really went there, huh?
Lash watches in disbelief as you continue eating the pasta that he spat on without batting an eye.
Lash: You're seriously still eating that? Even after I spit on it?
Embrick: Yep.
Lash continues eating his pasta, feeling both surprised and begrudgingly impressed by your willingness to eat food that he spat on.
Lash: You're either really gross, or you're just trying to prove a point. Either way, you're a weirdo.
After three more periods, Embrick and Lash went to detention. We sat separately. We can't use our superpowers because this detention neutralizes students' superpowers. Lash sits in his seat, feeling frustrated and restless.
Embrick: I can't believe we have to sit here for three hours. This is complete and utter bullshit.
Yeah...total...bullshit...
Lash glances over at you, still feeling annoyed by your presence. He sighs heavily, slumping in his seat.
Lash: I blame you for this, you know. If you hadn't ratted us out to our parents, we wouldn't be stuck here right now.
Embrick: groans If you hadn't been an asshole, we wouldn't be stuck here right now.
Lash rolls his eyes, feeling frustrated by your response.
Lash: Oh, so now it's my fault again? You really can't take responsibility for anything, can you?
Both of you sit in silence, each refusing to speak to or even look at each other. The tension between you is palpable, and it seems like neither of you is willing to give in first. 3 hours later, me and Lash left detention and headed home. Lash walks out of the building, feeling drained and frustrated after the long detention. He spots you walking ahead of him, and he grumbles to himself, still feeling annoyed by your presence.
Lash watches you walk ahead, his mind still seething with anger. He sees the back alley up ahead, and a wicked idea forms in his mind. He grins to himself and follows you, silently planning to challenge you to a fight in the alley. Lash drags you into the alley, feeling determined to settle things once and for all. He pushes you against the wall, a menacing look in his eyes.
Lash: You and me, right here, right now.
Embrick: Glares at him Fine. Let's do this.
Lash grins, feeling a rush of excitement. He gets into a fighting stance, ready to take you on.
Lash: I've been looking forward to this, twerp. You're going down.
Embrick and Lash dropped their schoolbags and fought. We punched and kicked each other. We blow each other's punches in a fit of rage. The alley echoes with the sounds of you and Lash landing punches and kicks on each other. The fight is intense, fueled by your mutual anger and hatred. After a couple of more punches and kicks, we stop fighting, feeling tired and our faces bruised and bloodied. We feel drained but satisfied. We both tried to cover our bruises and removed the blood from our faces as we grabbed our schoolbags continued walking home. Lash walks alongside you, feeling a mixture of exhaustion and adrenaline. He steals glances at you, noticing the bruises and cuts on your face. Despite everything, he can't help but feel a hint of respect for you for being able to hold your own against him.
Both of you arrive home, both looking disheveled and bruised. Your mom and Lash's dad give you both disapproving looks, clearly aware of the fight you got into at school.
Embrick: Um...hi...
Lash: Hi...
Yuki: Embrick. Lash. We know you got into the fight.
Pyro: That's right. The principal calls us. Why you two are fighting?!
Lash glares at his dad, feeling frustrated and defensive.
Lash: It was no big deal. Just a little scuffle, that's all.
Pyro: A little scuffle?! You two have bruises and blood on your face!
Yuki: That's right! I can't believe you two!
Embrick: Mommy, Daddy, I'm sorry!
Lash grumbles, still feeling annoyed by the whole situation.
Lash: It wasn't a big deal. We just got a little carried away, that's all."
Pyro: Yeah, right. For the whole evening, you two are grounded! Me and Lash are shocked. Embrick: What?!
Lash's eyes widen in disbelief.
Lash: What?! No way! You can't just ground us for a little fight!"
Yuki: Well, we can. You two need to get along!
Pyro: That's right. Now go to your rooms!
Lash stomps off to his room, feeling frustrated and fed up. He slams the door shut behind him and throws himself onto his bed with a huff.
Then, Lash hears me screaming, thrashing my entire bedroom, cursing out loud. Lash's ears perk up at the sound of your screaming and thrashing. He sits up on his bed, frowning as he listens to your tirade.
Episode 4 ends.
