A long awaited reunion.
Chapter 1
He has fallen into it. Megumi has returned mind, body and soul, and yet… as of late, he has been merely toying with his abilities. Sukuna watches him from a distance as the young boy relearns everything once more, but it appears more natural. "There's life in him again… huh… never thought my boy was THAT good at what he does…"
He moved along since after all, the boy still doesn't trust him, and no one can blame him on that. At the same time, there is a bit of concern for Ryoto.
One, his jujutsu accumulation is slow, second, he doesn't tend to use curse energy as often as he should. Last, Sukuna hasn't taught him much about it. So, he wonders if perhaps his boy is stagnant in his development.
Chusi has told him to butt out of it. "Just because he wasn't at your level at your age, doesn't mean he's behind. At the same time, he shouldn't even BE that age!" she protested.
It was a fair point, and yet, he couldn't help but be concerned… it's his genetics after all, he doesn't want the brats or anyone mocking him otherwise for the lack of… shall we say talent in his son.
Speaking of talent… he has yet to see the boy Shin.
"Odd, I thought that child for certain would want to speak with me…" Sukuna muttered as he thought about it. At the same time, he wants to alter back as soon as possible. Despite the normal appearance he has, his wife loves it. But him, not so much, he doesn't feel like himself when he is not himself after all.
He doesn't ACT like himself either. Chusi takes full advantage of that, he tends to be more playful when he isn't in his original state.
"Damn transfiguration…" he muttered. He shouldn't enjoy something like that and yet… here he is.
"Sukuna!"
He paused, peering behind him, Yua was approaching and yet looked haggard. "Something wrong?"
"Being bombarded from BOTH husbands now." She muttered. "We just had the kids and they want more. Suguru has put on weight, Satoru is even acting odd… he's HELPING around the house! How does a woman resist that?!"
"The fact that six eyes is putting in effort speaks for itself…" Sukuna muttered. "At the same time, what's wrong with more kids? The four you had are very independent, more so than the five before them."
"Whose side are you on?" she snapped back.
He smiled to that, at the same time he knows what she is going through. Chusi has been doing the same with him, at the same time. He hasn't been resisting her. It also hasn't been a constant thing with his wife either, here and there is fine but if it was consistent, he would be sharing her sentiment on the situation. However, it hasn't been as bad as he assumed it would be so, he offers no pity to Yua.
"Why is it that they want more already?" he asked of her. "Could it be that they are enjoying it?"
She froze to this and glared at him. "Who enjoys being pregnant?!" she demanded. "It's tiring, you can't do much of anything on your own, I am a fidget ass, and I have to keep moving around or I go nuts."
He snickered to this. "Yes, that's YOUR situation when it comes to the matter, but your forget… the two you speak of is Satoru Gojo, who is insane as it is, and Suguru Geto who has… unusual tastes in things."
She sighed and groaned about it, there's no reason not to agree, at the same time she appeared to be rather conflicted. "It's not that I don't want more kids… I just don't like passing the buck…"
"Tsk, you just like the brat who thinks the actions I cause through his body are his" he muttered. "You don't want to because you think it's wrong that YOU'RE not the one having the children. I do believe that matter has been spoken of before. At the same time, did you not see how… comfortable Suguru was?" he asked offhandedly.
"Sorcerers are insane to begin with, becoming a dragon didn't hinder that notion. But, every time I saw Suguru… he was rather content and pleased with the situation at hand. He didn't mind it, he enjoyed it."
Yua froze to that, but looking back, she sighed. It made sense to her. "He never complained once." She muttered.
"Because he was enjoying it." Sukuna said bluntly. "Six Eyes was bending over backwards to keep him happy, at the same time, had I been you. I would be insulted by his treatment of you over Suguru… Rook ought to knock him down a few pegs again!"
She was a little bewildered to his comment, but snorted a laugh. "You really believe that, don't you? I'll tell you the same thing I told the kids, just because he was with Suguru. I wasn't Satoru's or Suguru's first love." She said bluntly. "I know I was second choice and Suguru wasn't even on the radar for me at the time. So…" she said offhandedly.
"So what?" he demanded. "The fact remains that BOTH chose to be with you, and yet, you are getting the shaft?"
"That's more blunt that usual."
He froze but shook his head. "Jokes aside, Yua. The question remains is what do YOU want? You are the patriarch of this family, you set the tone, and what does Yua Tooru want? Does she desire more children? Or do you want to wait? Either way, those two shouldn't be able to do much without you… granted, perhaps I just jinxed the situation…"
She sighed once more but then snickered. "In all honesty, I wouldn't be surprised if they found a way to knock each other up. That would be interesting at the same time concerning since I would no longer be needed by either one…"
"I wouldn't say that," Sukuna said and yet snickered at the notion as well. "To think those two getting each other pregnant… that would be something not even Kenjaku would think of happening!"
The mood shifted. "Speaking of the bastard…"
Sukuna nodded. "Indeed, he's gone rather silent hasn't he?"
"I don't trust the silence."
"Nor should you, that or he has troubles that we may not be made aware of yet…"
One could only hope but there wouldn't be many sorcerers who could get the drop on someone as old as Kenjaku.
Sukuna was about to speak farther until his phone went off. He paused and saw a message.
He froze to this.
"Everything okay?" she asked.
"No," he said bluntly. "My son thinks he is going mad…"
