Ashley woke up in the hospital on the 26th.
"What happened?" Ashley asked.
"Those cosmic buddies didn't save the day, so the Mushroom Kingdom fell for some time." a Toad says.
Savannah was planning Greendale High's Homecoming dance when Rachel arrived.
"Okay, cosmic losers, your Homecoming is going to be used for me and Luke." Rachel says.
"Yeah, we kinda have different types of activities. I'm not sure Luke will like it." Bill says.
"Well, it's your fault for not patrolling Royal Woods. It's here that everyone heard that these so-called heroes chose not to protect Royal Woods. Every hero and ninja left it to me." Rachel says. "Then there was Kat and Ana. I thought Kat would have done it. I asked her, but she said no."
Luke was still mad at Rachel as he walked through Oakley Academy on this particular day.
Penny wrapped Ashley's birthday gift.."It's Ashley's birthday and she said she'd come out of her shell. It's happening." Penny says.
"Why are you making me go?" Luke asked.
"Luke, I didn't see you there. I was talking to myself. You don't have to go, but maybe Lucy may want to." Penny says.
Meanwhile, Rachel was making Savannah replan the Greendale High Homecoming dance so it could suit Luke.
"We can't even be ourselves in our own town. Just great. Luke might as well merge Greendale and Royal Woods because we can never seem to divide ourselves from him." Bill says.
"Why do you want to do that?" Savannah asked.
"Listen, we're wacky. We rely on cartoon physics and dumb death stuff. So Luke would be out of his element. Plus there's a lot of bad guys who seem to attack when we're busy." Delta says
"You cosmic Buddies will do your job or I'll call Mrs. Huntington-Miller, who is running for state governor." Rachel says
"Yeah, um, here's the thing…Those kids behind you may disagree with you." Bill says, showing a bunch of kids that were not pleased that their epic Homecoming dance was being changed.
"Deal with it or you'll all suffer. Because from here on out, the school events will be Luke-centric." Rachel says and teleports.
Luke hears this and hisses.
"Don't ruin their time. Only you are making it up to me." Luke hissed and flew off.
With Ashley, she came to class. She was afraid of coming out of her shell.
Luke was angry at Rachel still. He had every right to be.
"Pam, you have to help me make it up to Luke. You made me miss it. And besides, it isn't like you can do anything else since you're under house arrest instead of me." Rachel says to Pam.
She then turned to Brandy and Randy "You two do something quick, you idiots."
"Why do I have to help you? I didn't do anything." Randy says.
"Because I said so." Rachel says.
Pam looked down in shame.
"Fine, come on, clone." Randy says.
After school, Randy dragged Brandy and tossed him to Savannah.
"Okay, idiots, tonight is the Greendale High Homecoming dance, so we're doing one thing. Making it about Luke so he'll finally stop making our lives about him, because honestly most of the stuff we do revolves around him and we need to prove we can be good without Luke and have our own stories to tell and get interviews. Oh, since school is over…" Alem tuber says and kicks Angry Luigi and punches Emma.
"Ow!" Emma says.
"Hey, kiddo, I heard it's your big night." Bob says.
"Dad?" Alem tuber Asked
"Yep I'm back and it seems to be your big night" Bob says.
"Used to be, now it's Luke's night…" Chrissy grumbled as the cosmic buddies got to work decorating it in Luke's favorite colors.
"After this, we're going on an adventure. No Luke, no Shane, and no Foxes." Alem tuber says.
"But I don't want to go on an adventure." Emma says. "I'm on my yearlong adventure hiatus."
"You dragged Rachel on an adventure." Alem tuber says.
"Nope, how could I drag someone on an adventure when I was perfectly fine at home? Rachel was just mad I chose to stay home. Heck, she's mad at the ninja twins, too." Emma says.
Meanwhile, Ashley waits for 5-Volt to pick her up, feeling humiliated because of her class birthday celebration today.
"Honey, what happened?" 5-Volt asked.
"Ask your boys." She said.
"Boys, what happened?" 5-Volt asked.
"We set up a big celebration, but Ashley was ungrateful." 9-Volt says.
"She's not ready for something that big!" 5-Volt says. "You should have known that!"
5-Volt was driving home. She arrives to see everyone in her house.
"Surprise! Happy birthday, Ashley!" They say. Ashley screamed and ran up to her room. Penny was concerned.
"What happened?" Dribble asked.
5-Volt had to explain everything as Penny went to console Ashley.
"Still? She really needs to loosen up." Spitz says.
"I got an idea" Lulu says.
Later, she approached Ashley with a drink.
"Here, Ashley." Lulu says as Ashley drinks.
"What is this?" She asked
"Oliver's keg." Lulu says. "Now do you want the biggest party of your life?"
Ashley nodded. "Just this once. After this, leave me be." Ashley says. "Got it?"
Lulu nods and goes to tell the others. "She said yes!" Lulu says.
With Rachel…
"Tonight is the night." She says.
She handed him his tuxedo he wore to the Oakley Academy Homecoming dance as he tried to swallow a lump that came before crying. She held him and soon took him to Greendale High.
"Why are we here?" Luke sniffed.
"I'm making it up to you." Rachel says "by taking you to a Homecoming dance. You deserve a night like this after what my siblings did to make me miss my Homecoming date with you."
Luke entered as there were photographers. They took pictures of him.
"Oh, shoot, your friend group!" Rachel says and uses a spell to summon them. Luke was a bit surprised by all this.
"Remember, if Luke and I aren't Homecoming King and Queen, you all die." Rachel says as Emma nodded.
Luke looked a little annoyed by this.
Begmax was driving Chrissy who looked clearly annoyed by this.
"This is worse. My dad being a good guy kinda sucks. I kinda wish he was evil, but tonight just had to be Homecoming." she groaned.
"Daddy wants pictures!" Begmax says as Chrissy groaned.
Meanwhile, Ashley shook her head and saw her friends as Lulu gulped. "Hey, Ashley…"
"The drink wore off." Jimmy says.
"Ashley, look…" Mona says.
"Don't touch me!" Ashley says.
"We're sorry. We just wanted you to have fun." Cricket says.
"You, too! I-I…" Ashley says, having a legitimate panic attack, unable to trust anyone but her family, Mona, and Penny as she was scared.
"I knew it was a bad idea. I'm so sorry, I really wanted you to come out of your shell." Mona says as Ashley buried her face in 5-Volt's dress.
"Ashley, I thought you said yes…Wait, did you drink Oliver's thing? That's for teenagers." 5-Volt says. The group felt guilty.
"Ashley, I…" Lulu says.
"No, no, no!" Ashley says, remembering the last time she drank something similar. It was bad. She teleported away.
Meanwhile, the music playing was Luke's favorite tracks. Luke ran away.
"What's wrong?" Rachel asked.
"You didn't have to sabotage Greendale High's Homecoming dance for me. They deserve a night of fun, too." Luke says. "I would have been fine with doing something in Royal Woods."
Later, Rachel took Luke out to dinner somewhere else as he smiled.
Ashley was scared and alone. 18-Volt found her as well as 7-Volt.
"It's going to be okay, Ashley." 7-Volt says. "I sent everyone except for Penny and Mona home. And 9-Volt is currently being reprimanded by your mother."
"What was that?" Ashley asked, not sure what she drank.
"Spiked root beer." 7-Volt says. "Oliver said that Mugman brewed that root beer, then he spiked it. He keeps that keg at his house for certain occasions, like Luke's birthdays or the Final Fling or any occasion he can deem special. Lulu basically stole from Oliver."
Ashley shook. She didn't like spiked drinks as anyone could have taken advantage of her.
"Lulu did a bad thing." 18-Volt says.
Later, Kat and Ana came Home at 11 p.m., looking tired from patrolling the city.
Luke was in his room as he had a date with Rachel tomorrow. She was taking him dancing at a club, where they would also be having dinner.
Colleen sees that Sabrina and Harvey won Homecoming prince and princess. It was Brandy and Savannah who won king and queen
She growled at Savannah, but she was promptly kicked out of the gym by school security.
"Brandy will pay for cheating on me!" she says.
"You two were never together. You were basically forcing him to be with you." Griffin says. "Savannah has loved Brandy for longer than you have. "So, he wasn't cheating on you. You two were never together to begin with. And if you try to force him to go out with you again, you will answer to me, my siblings, and my father. And don't think your threats scare us. Because they don't. And your mother knows you were forcing Brandy to date you. So I would prepare for a lifetime of punishment and grounding until college."
Colleen leaves. When she checks her phone, everyone in her friend group was berating her and cutting ties with her, including Luke.
She looks annoyed, realizing she should have never let Brandy be friends with Luke. Just then, her mother approached her and took her phone.
"We're going home and you're packing your things, young lady. You're going to an Amish boarding school, where they don't believe in technology." Miranda says. "You'll be learning the value of hard work and you'll be living like the Amish the whole time you're there. And since you no longer have a social life or friends, this is the perfect time to send you away."
"That's not fair!" Colleen complained.
"What's not fair is forcing people to love you and alienating your friends for those people and then torturing those people. Maybe an Amish boarding school will teach you a lesson or two." Miranda says.
The next day, Luke got ready for his night out. He then looked at his siblings.
"I don't want a second birthweek. Don't be planning it. I want to focus on me, and I want to focus on me and Rachel's relationship getting back on track until my actual birthweek." Luke says as he leaves.
He soon meets Rachel at the club, smiling. She smiled at him as they went inside. Luke was looking forward to this.
"I hate my family sometimes…" Luke tells Rachel as they sit down to eat.
They eat Luke's favorite food.
The siblings were minding their own business as Lucy planned Halloween. Since a lot of the siblings had their own plans on Halloween, it was just her planning the traditional corn maze.
Lucy sees a mask and begins to cry. She missed Lynn and she felt sorry for killing her. She never forgave herself for that night.
"Sniff." Lucy sniffed.
Rachel and Luke were soon dancing and having the best time. This made up for a lot, especially Homecoming. This is all Luke really wanted. Just a night for him and Rachel to have fun. Not a hijacked dance to cater to his high standards.
"Do you want to join in the Halloween shenanigans that me and my friends get up to?" Luke asked Rachel.
"Of course! Sounds fun!" Rachel says.
Lulu and the others noticed Ashley was still at Warioware alone, working. Since her birthday party, the only people she spoke to was her family, Red, Mona, Penny, and Dr. Crygor, even though he was in a coma. No one else.
"Ashley, I'm sorry." Lulu says.
"You betrayed me." Ashley says.
"We'll make it up to you. Please give us a chance." Cricket says.
"One more chance. If you screw up, you stay away from me for the rest of the year, deal?" Ashley says.
"Deal." they say.
"You will attend my Halloween party." Ashley says. Everyone was shocked.
But Ashley didn't expect Mona or Penny to attend. Penny was joining Shane for the usual Halloween shenanigans that Luke is including them in. And Mona got invited to Mugman's Haunted Hay Maze party for the first time. They were very excited about their Halloween plans.
